Puppy!Leorio and Kitty!Kurapika who are very protective of their owner. They follow her everywhere, growling or hissing at anyone that gets to close. Leorio has been known to pick her up and growl lowly at men that even look in her direction. Kurapika scratches and curses anyone that touches her.

“Why are you going out? It’s late.”

“Kurapika, it’s only 4 pm, and I’m a grown woman, I can do what I want. I’m grabbing us some dinner.”

“Dinner? We’ll come with you. You walk slow, it’ll be dark by the time you get home.”

She doesn’t like bringing them with her because they’re so protective. She appreciates that they care, but it’s annoying when she has to grab them by the collar of their shirts and drag them off of whoever got too close to her.

And they fight with each other too. Leorio has his head in her lap while she scratches between his dog ears. He’s just so happy and content!

That’s when Kurapika gets home from his job. He stares at Leorio, his sharp eyes narrowing before he walks over, pushes Leorio off, and tries to climb into (Name)’s lap. “H-hey! You’re too heavy- mmph!”

He’s holding her face to his chest, glaring at Leorio.

Poor (Name) can’t even breathe, but now Leorio’s pawing at Kurapika and trying to climb into her lap too!!
