Hi there, I'm curious with designs, if it would make sense for someone who lost their eyes to injury or was born without them, to have their eyelids sealed closed instead of using prosthetic/glass eyes, if there would be any reasons for that?

Hey, not really to my knowledge. At least I never heard of it being done just because of eye loss, though it could be done where there's an infection going on to help it heal (that's what happened to Jean-Dominique Bauby, the guy who wrote The Diving Bell and the Butterfly). If someone was born without eyes, the recommended thing is getting either ocular prosthetics or conformers. I wrote about it here on a different blog some time ago. The impression you might get from some eyeless people as having their eyelids sealed is that they don't have the muscles to open them, since if they were always totally blind it's just not something they automatically learned to do, so the eyelids stay closed. And if they never wore any prosthetics/conformers then the structure of that part of the face is often different so it might look even more like that

sorry these are 3 lines in one but i couldnt bear to cut any from it. my favorite by a mile and only "We are oceans reduced to shallow creeks." comes close. line so good i put it in my quotebot twice (but cut differently)

aside from that, if cold appeared in wild, that wouldve probably made him my favorite quicker XP i read a post once (i dont remember who) that said that cold wouldve been Sad if he appeared in the wild and i agree wholeheartedly. mr longing meets our other half? he who seems more aware of our true nature than the other voices? i think he wouldve wanted to stay one with the wild and wouldve been changed irrevocably if you decided to kill her ^__^

i like parahero :D theyve grown on me lately. i love their banter and panicked arguing. i love that hero tried to take over for paranoid in nightmare only to start saying "brain" 😭😭😭 theyre so funny. i dont know if i headcanoned it so hard that i thought its canon but they seemed sweet to me as well

as for platonic dynamics, para and broken in apotheosis takes the cake 🥹🥹🥹 para breaking through broken's self-doubt and helping him rise against his abuser? peak. i know hero and the narrator helped too but well yknow. para and broken <333

Would posting a comic without politics and then maybe in the future adding politics a little bit to the comic be considered a bait and switch? I’ve read comics like that before, and I never considered it a bait and switch. But one of my friends thinks that it would be a bait and switch to do that. I really wanted to post my comics on all my social medias, at least the more non political ones, but I don’t want to accidentally bait and switch people!! I am of course going to leave the more political ones off of my Facebook and post them everywhere else, though. Because Facebook is where all of my MAGA family members are, and I’m in no mood to deal with all that jazz.

Their first drawing is from february 3rd 2018, so I always say that's their anniversary! I created them inspired by a youtuber I follow, and I call them and their friends my drawing oc's cause they don't really have a story lol, I just like drawing them

And i've been redrawing their first drawing every year, but skipped this last two years because I was wayyyyy too busy with art school. But!!! I finally graduated!!! So I tried again :D if you ever feel like you're not improving, just pick an old drawing you like and redraw it. It's fun and will help you see your progress <#
