the ending of guardians vol 3 is so beautiful because of how fitting it is. obviously we're sad to see them all part ways, but it's what they have to do. the guardians were a family and they always will be, but they're also individual people. a happy ending doesn't mean that all loose ends are tied up and the characters never have any more problems; sometimes a happy ending is just moving on. accepting that people come into your life, change you for the better, and then it's time for you to find your new people. and that's okay.

i’m about to get very sappy for a moment, (i say as though i’m not always sappy on here), Guardians of the Galaxy has been my absolute favorite for years and this trilogy got me through so much, so having new guardians content and all this hype and appreciation on here for the new movie and these characters who i love so much, and having so many people to talk to about it is amazing for me. i know eventually the hype will die out but this is great right now. like fr Lylla’s right, it is good to have friends.

Would you want Bugtopia plus Momsters and Girls to be animated? You’re characters are so beautifully expressive that it seems natural

I've thought about it a lot, especially since i've had a lot of people tell me the same thing, and I've always been of two minds about it. If someone told me "we want to make your show a cartoon" I'd immediately say yes, but I'm not sure if these are stories that can adapt to animated tv, particularly because neither stories are very story driven, and people LOVE animated shows with constant plot and lore (and i do too, its fun to analyze things).

I actually did conceptualize perhaps working on an indie show involving monsters and girls and fusing it with another project I had, but that's just wishful thinking.

just can't stop thinking about how different grizzop's choice could have been if the cult hadn't taken vesseek but instead took one of the clutch

because grizzop swore an oath to his god and he knows his partner can handle themself, but he made an oath to the clutch when he adopted them, and they're just children, and he's meant to be their father!

and azu and hamid come racing down the stairs and grizzop is shoving adamantine into moving parts of the factory, and he's got to keep moving because there's a job to do there's a task to finish-

-and azu comes up to him, giant hand on his small shoulder. "they have our family. they have a baby goblin. grizzop, are you a father?"

and it hits so hard because he was expecting them to take vesseek! anyone who knows grizzop knows vesseek is the most important person to him, hardly anyone even knows about their clutch! but azu's eyes are round and her hand is trembling, only slightly, and he knows he underestimated them.

"who?" he asks before he can stop himself, but azu didn't know about the clutch, let alone who each of them are. there's one of his children, kidnapped and scared, and he doesn't even know which one.

grizzop made a promise to artemis that he'd finish this hunt and save as many people as possible- and the stake right now is most of the entire world. but he made a promise, too, to six orphaned goblins without a chance in the world, and it's because of him and that promise that one of them has been taken and used against him.

he's gonna have to break one of those promises

an absurd but intresting take about the magnus archives: we as spectators are an entity. we listen to every audio recordings, we elaborate theories and scenarios, we fuel the entire show. you can almost say that we are the web itself.

i feel like the only one who still really enjoys desktop themes on this webbed site. like fuck the app that barely works anyway. give me customisation, give me little sprites in sidebars, give me hover text and fun cursors, hell even bring back music players i don't fucking care. i love you nav pages i love you rec pages i love you people who are still coding new themes and sharing them with us. most people sign up and never even make a desktop theme these days and i just miss the old days. feeling very nostalgic for a time before everything had a fucking mobile app. i wanna scroll through your personalised scrapbook with your little header text and sidebar picture, your little updates bar. man
