Settled a few years before the movie, you can imagine whatever time period you wish tho:

Logan tiptoed into Quinn's lab, a smile already on his face as he watched his girlfriend hunched over a the mess on her desk. Her hair was tousled, her eyes tired, and Logan could tell she'd been at it for hours. No doubt working on her new invention. Or Quinnvention as she still called, much to his delight.

"Hey there, beautiful," he whispered, walking up to her and hunching over her to hug her. "How's it going?"

Quinn turned around, grinning at Logan's arrival. "Hey, you!" she exclaimed, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "I'm actually making some serious progress tonight. I think this invention might be the one that finally works!"

Logan chuckled, looking around at the piles of sketches and gadgets strewn across the desk. It was something she always said, Quinn had been feeling blocked lately when it came to her inventions. No matter how hard she tried, she just couldn't seem to make any progress. It was frustrating, to say the least. She had been spending most of her days locked away in her lab, determined to make it work, even if it meant working until the early hours of the morning. Logan had noticed how hard she was pushing herself, and it made him feel helpless. He wished he could do something to help her, but he knew Quinn was stubborn, and while he usually just tell her to take a break, she's been sensible about it, so he didn't want to pressure her. He just wanted her to know that he was there for her, no matter what.

"I'm sure you're right, babe" he said, not wanting to dampen her enthusiasm.

Quinn went back to work, and Logan stayed quiet, watching as she focused intently on her work. After a few more minutes, he stood up and walked to her side.

"You know what's more important than this invention, though?" he said, crouching down beside her.

Quinn looked up, her eyes questioning.

"You. You need to remember to take care of yourself, Quinn. You're working too hard. Come on, let's go get some sleep," he said, holding out his hand.

Quinn was about to refute, but all that came out was a long and exhausted yawn. She couldn't resist the gesture, so she took his hand and let him pull her up. As they walked towards the door, Logan suddenly swept her into his arms, making her laugh.

"What are you doing?" she giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"I'm carrying you to bed, of course," he replied, grinning mischievously. "You need your rest, can't revolutionize the world with no energy."

Quinn snuggled into him, feeling supremely content in his arms. She nuzzled her face into his neck and breathed in his scent, feeling him slowly walk them towards their bedroom.

Once they were there, Logan gently laid Quinn down and pulled the blankets up over her. "I'll let you finish your work tomorrow," he whispered, kissing her forehead.

Quinn smiled up at him, feeling thankful for his care and love. "I love you" she whispered back.

"I love you too, Quinn. Now get some sleep," he said, turning off the light and crawling into bed beside her.

As Quinn drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but feel grateful for having someone like Logan in her life. He always knew exactly what she needed, whether it was a shoulder to cry on or a gentle push to slow down. She knew that no matter how much they bickered and argued, they'd always have each other's backs.

I haven’t had a chance to post about Zoey 102 on tumblr much, life got super busy right after the movie came out, and self promoting my fanfics isn’t something I usually do but I did want to share my newest one on the off chance someone wants to read it bc I know as a fandom we’re all wanting more content 🙈😅 I hope you enjoy if you do read it! 🩷

Well, after watching Zoey 101 for the first time, I am now a Quogan fan. Which has led to me really craving two fanfics that don't exist (as far as I know):

#1 A fanfic that takes place after the prom where Logan and Quinn are out as a couple, and their friends have no idea, but they think their friends know. For those wondering how would their friends not have heard about their relationship through the rumor mill, well, Logan and Quinn's announcement ended up getting beaten by the news that Stacey no longer has a lisp. This fanfic should be around 10,000 words or higher, be funny, and it should take a really long time for the friends to find out. Also, of course Lisa already knows everything and thinks they are super cute together, and Vance is able to figure it out quickly. Neither of them realize the rest of the group doesn't know (after all, it's so obvious!), and they are the only ones who act normally when Quinn and Logan are being affectionate, while the rest of the group has their eyes bugging out.

#2 A fanfic where Logan secretly has a thing for Quinn before they get together. There are already fanfics with this plot out there, but reading those made me want to have one that was at least 30,000 words, and has a lot of angst. I want the Logan pov (not first person mind you) where he is in denial of his feelings, then figures they'll fade away, but his feelings get even stronger over time, and he has to accept that he has genuine feelings for someone (which he's not used to, since he's only ever gone out with girls where his only interest is that they are pretty) he believes could never feel the same. They don't necessarily need to get together at the end of the fic, I think I would actually prefer an open ending. Though there could be hints of Quinn starting to develop feelings for Logan.

So many of my fanfic ideas die before they’re even words on the page because I start to question how to do them properly 🖊️

Like for anime I had an Ochako and Toga post-UA idea I scrapped because I worried about portraying romance between the women well ✍️ Or a Reki x Langa fic that I decided felt too dark. I also tried to do a super cheerful Rei x Kazuki fic that wasn’t working once.

I also had iCarly reboot (Freddie x Carly) and Zoey 102 (Quinn and Logan) ideas for a while I surrendered 🏳️ because again I worried I wouldn’t be able to portray the steamy scenes the way I wanted, especially since I usually write for gay ships. Also I love Miranda Cosgrove so much I was struggling to get her out of my head to picture Carly the character instead!

And then there’s South Park, which usually isn’t as hard, but this one college or post college Tweek x Craig x Clyde (yes, Clyde!) fic idea I toyed with just felt too niche for anyone to care about 🫨

I think a lot of being a fic writer is just having an idea and immediately throwing it away 🗑️

I’m also slow to write a lot of the time so that doesn’t help

Quogan mini fanfic:

I've decided to write a mini fanfic for Quinn and Logan. (Mini as in I've just kept it as all one chapter.)

It involves....THE BENCH! Lol it's actually based on an envisioned scene I had that I wish we would've seen in the film. With some of my own added dialogue, along with the original dialogue from this particular scene in the film. The original show as well. Though, this fanfic will have moments (post Quinn running out) that lead up to this pivotal moment.

Because, I think we all can agree that a reminiscent scene for their first intimate moment/kiss on the bench was robbed of. 💯

So, here it is:

"I Only Want What You Want..."

After the recent, yet tragic cancellation of the wedding of the century, with a runaway bride and a distraught groom left at the altar, maid of honor Zoey Brooks was alone on the beach nearby with her long time love interest, Chase Matthews, talking about the events that all led to what had just happened and how she felt so guilty to have let her best friend down.. while also feeling nostalgic for their days in high school.

Wanting to make things right and see to it that her best friend still marries the love of her life, Zoey comes up with a perfect idea. "Go back. That's exactly what we need to do", she says with confidence. Chase quickly replies, "What?" That was the idea she had in mind: a nostalgic wedding ceremony at the PCA campus, with no more than Quinn and Logan's close friends and relatives in attendance. She quickly grabs Chase by the hand and goes to find Logan to let him know of her plan.

Logan was back in the groom's stall with his parents, doing his best to hold back tears. He was pacing back and forth as his parents listened to him on the couch. "I just don't understand. I-I-I don't understand how I could've screwed this up. How could I have gotten so self absorbed into trying to make this day perfect for Quinn that I completely neglect her: the most important person in my life whom I always put first." After a couple seconds, realizing the obvious, Logan continued.. "along with you guys and Lyric of course."

Mrs. Reese let out a soft giggle at his last words as she got up from the couch. "Look honey, I know that this isn't what you expected or planned, ..but you've been in a relationship with Quinn for 15 beautiful years. You've stuck by her side through thick and thin, no matter what. And I know for sure that she feels the same way in return. You guys will work this out. You always have." Logan gives his mother a little nod and smirk in response, "Thanks, mom." She then pulls him in for a hug. Logan hugs back, nuzzling into his mother's shoulder, again trying not to break. As Mrs Reese breaks the hug, she asks "Have you tried calling her yet?" - "I've tried at least 4 times. She won't answer or call me back. And I doubt she'll want to see me right now." Logan replied in heartbreak as he walked over to the other side of the room, his mother following behind him. "Well, maybe she just needs a little space to cool off right now. You know? Maybe this just wasn't the kind of wedding she was hoping for. And though your intentions were genuine and honorable, there's nothing wrong with that. Like I said though sweetheart, ..you guys, ..you're "Quinn and Logan". And I truly believe in my heart that you two are meant to be together forever. So just be patient, and when the time is right, you'll know what to do or say..and if Quinn loves you like your father and I believe she does, then she'll forgive you." Logan replies with some uncertainty "You think so?" Mrs Reese places her hand on Logan's cheek and pulls him in for a forehead kiss, then says with a smile, "I know so."

Logan's father then gets up and adds to all that Logan's mother had just said. "Your mother's right, Logan. You and Quinn just need a little space right now. But, don't wait too long to let her know how sorry you are, how much you love her and still want to be with her forever. Don't let your mistakes now ruin what you and Quinn have had for 15 years, nor let them cause you to be at risk of losing her forever." Malcolm glanced over at Logan's mother, feeling some guilt for never taking his own advice, ..leading them to their divorce. "Because you'll regret it for the rest of your life." Logan nods and gives his father a hug, thanking him and his mother both for their advice.

Moments later, Zoey arrives with Chase, I bit out of breath, yet still enthusiastic. Logan looks at her, just as pissed as he was at the altar. "What now, Zoey?" Zoey, catching her breath, replied "Hey..uhh, Mr and Mrs Reese, can I uhh have a moment alone with Logan please?" Logan immediately jumps in, "No! I mean, damnit Zoey, you've done enough, alright? Just go away!" Logan's mother grabs his arm, "Logan...just give her a minute." After drawing a reluctant breath, Logan softy replied, "Whatever.."

Mr and Mrs Reese left the grooming stall with Chase as Zoey walked further in and shut the door. Zoey turned to a back turned Logan, looking out the window in thought. Breaking the silence, she opened up. "Look Logan, ..I know that you're upset with me right now.." Logan interrupted with a scoff, "Upset? Man, talk about the freaking understatement of the year." Trying to continue, Zoey went on. "Logan, just listen to me.." He interrupted again, "How could you do this to me Zoey?! No, how could you do this to Quinn?! She's your best friend! And now, what, your date is some alleged murderer?!" Zoey kept quiet, realizing it was pointless trying to get a word in with him. Logan went on, "You know, if it weren't for you putting more time and consideration into your stupid show than into being there for Quinn, none of this would've happened! She never would've left, and we'd be married right now!" At that, Zoey jumped in with an outburst, "Woah-Woah-Woah! Don't you dare blame ALL of this on me! If I remember correctly, she yelled at you too!" "So, this whole thing," She said, using hand gestures, .."it's on both of us, pal! ..We're both to blame."

Though not wanting Zoey to be right, he realized that this was just as much his fault as it was hers. Logan drew another reluctant breath, and raised his hand in surrender, "Ok, ..you're right. I'm sorry." Logan turned back to face the window, as Zoey tried to regain her thoughts. "You're both right though. I didn't prioritize the wedding the way I should've, and I'm truly sorry for that." Logan turned back to her with a mixture of anger and heartbreak in his expression, "What do you want, Zoey? My heart's been shattered like broken glass, and mind's already at warped speed and I need to be alone right now, alright?" She stepped closer to him, "Look, just give yourself a few minutes to hear me out. Ok?" She replied. Logan agreed, walking over to sit on the couch. "Alright, I'm listening." Zoey went on, taking a seat next to him. "Logan, you and I both know the kind of person Quinn really is. This kind of thing was never her style. You know? Expensive dress, life size cake mannequins, a huge guest list that is only like 5% recognizable, you turning into the biggest groomzilla ever, ..and then there's me: with the show and the whole hugo/todd thing. Stacey is still wrong on that. Well, anyways, I honestly don't blame Quinn for feeling so overwhelmed and feeling no choice but to run off. But, ..I think there may still be a way for you guys to have a do over wedding."

Logan began to get a bit curious, "How?" "We give her a small, intimate, yet still beautiful wedding. Just like she hoped for." Zoey replied. Logan had admit it was a good idea, but he was a bit unsure of the outcome. "So, what, we just start from scratch with a smaller wedding in a different location? No offense, but I don't think that'll work." Zoey paused before continuing, "...What if it was a specific location?" Logan turned his glance back at her, still curious. "What do you mean?" She replied, "PCA. What if we were able to have the ceremony at the PCA campus? You could talk to whoever's in charge of the property, get them to let us have the campus for the day, ..then we could all pitch in with decorations and prep, and you can bring Quinn as a surprise, and then you can propose to her again." Logan stood up, trying to take her suggestion seriously. "What? Zoey, come on, that place has been closed for almost 15 years. What makes you think I'd be able to talk to the person in charge into letting a group of former students throw a wedding there?" He replied. She gave him a straightforward gaze. "It'll work. ..You're Logan Reese." Logan stood still for a second, then shrugged in agreement, thinking "alright, you got a point." Zoey stood up and continued, "So, ..what you say?" Logan felt a sense of nostalgia in this conversation with Zoey. Walking up to her, he replied "You're really are smarter than you look, Brooks. ...Let's do it." Zoey nods and smiles, happy that she got Logan on board.

The next day, after a long and frustrating conversation which ended with a bribe, hand shake, and mutual agreement, Logan got the approval to rent out the PCA campus for the day. Zoey and the gang started unloading their vans and began setting up the decorations. Logan went over to help Zoey, "Look, this idea's great and all, but what if I can't get her here? After our conversation last night about setting this up, I tried to get her to talk to me or see me. I've tried flower arrangements, edible arrangements, a sky writer, ..nothing." Zoey couldn't help but let out a sarcastic laugh. "Uh, ok uh 'Logan Almighty', you're not trying to get Jennifer Aniston to take you back, ..you're trying to get Quinn to still want to marry you. So, here's an idea: have you tried talking to her? Like, in person?" Logan looked encouraged, "No. ..I mean, I've thought about it, but after the rejected gifts and her not responding to my calls, I just didn't think it'd do any good." "Well, then try that. I mean, even Jim Carrey's character in that movie had to realize that what Jennifer Aniston really needed was for him to fight for her; to know that the man she fell in love with wasn't gone. And that's exactly what I think Quinn wants from you." Zoey replied.

She leaned in and put her hand on his shoulder. "Logan, she needs to know that the Logan Reese she fell in love with back in high school is still inside of you. So it's up to you to let her know that." Zoey paused, and then continued. "End of the day Logan, ..all of this, ..all of us, ..it's not what's truly important. You and Quinn. And your unconditional love for each other. That's what's truly important." Logan nodded in agreement, "Ok. I'm gonna do it." Before he left for the exit, Zoey made a suggestion, "Hey Logan, why don't you just take a little stroll around the campus first. You know? To just think about what you wanna say, maybe reminisce about you and Quinn back when it was just you two against the world...maybe that'll help clear your head." Logan gave it a couple seconds of thought, then decided to take Zoey up on her suggestion, and took off in a separate direction around the campus. "Good idea, thanks." He said. After Logan went off on his own, Zoey met up with Chase and the rest to go over all the plans.

While strolling around the campus, reminiscing about all the good times he had at this place, hanging out with his friends, his favorite sun tanning spots, his favorite hideout spots with Quinn, etc he pulled out his new phone, courtesy of Quinn, and pressed number 1, where he put her on speed dial. After a couple rings, it went once again direct to her voicemail, Logan smiled softly every time he'd hear her voice over: "Hey, you've reached Quinn Pensky. Sorry that I missed your call. Please leave me your name and message, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thank you." Logan replied, "Hey Quinn, uh..it's me again." Logan rubbing his face, trying yet again to think of the right words to say, "Look, I'm--I'm really sorry about what happened. Just..please let me explain myself, ..and why I did what I did. Please just..just let me talk to you ok? Alright umm, if you do listen to this message, just please call me back. Bye." Logan then hung up, unsure of what to think or what to do next. In the meantime, he just kept walking. -- Suddenly, he stumbled upon a familiar sighting. Looking up, he felt this rush of nostalgia come right over him, and the feeling of butterflies came back in his stomach. He couldn't believe it was still there, in the exact same spot:

It was the bench. A little dirty and beaten up, but..there it was.

And suddenly, every moment from that day..the awkwardness, the nervousness, the butterflies, the kiss.., all the flashbacks came rushing back to him. He drew a deep breath, with a reminiscing look on his face, as he walked towards that bench. He began thinking, "this bench changed everything for me. Had I not stopped on my jet-x to comfort Quinn here on this bench that day, I don't know where I'd be right now in life. Nor do I want to know. Stopping at this bench was the best thing that could've ever happened to me. It brought me to Quinn. And because I did, that single decision gave me 15 years of love with her." Standing behind the bench, he placed his hand on the back end, simultaneously thinking about the moment they first kissed. The whole conversation. "You been crying? What's wrong?" "Nothing!", "Come on, talk to me." Logan began to slowly circle the bench toward the front to sit down, memories of that day still coming back to him as he sat: "Mark broke up with me." "Why'd he dump--break up with you?" "Cause he fell for Brooke Margolin." "Woah, she's hot! -- hot-ish." Logan softly giggled, remembering that exact response, "You're such an idiot." He whispered.

As he sat there, in their special spot, he began thinking about what Zoey said: about remembering what was truly important. Then as the rest of the memories from that day came back, it was all becoming clear to him. "I guess can't be mad at Mark." "Well if it makes you feel any better, I think Mark's an idiot. -- I mean, he's an idiot for breaking up with you." "Why do you say that?" As he was reminiscing, Logan turned his head to face the other side of the bench, exactly where Quinn sat that day. Suddenly, it was almost like he could see a silhouette of her from that day. "I don't know, I mean.. Look, we all know you're weird. But, you're smart, you're pretty, and you're kind of fun." "Thanks." "Sure. And uh, why are you dressed like that?" Logan had the same expression on his face as he did then, "..I was trying to compete with Brooke." Still able to see her silhouette, he could hear the echo of his response as he said it again simultaneously to himself, ..."Well don't."

All of a sudden, everything became clear. What Zoey said was true, he just needed to remember what made Quinn fall for him in the first place. As well as remember that him telling Quinn to not act or dress like the typical PCA girl was him telling her that not only did he like her for who she truly was, but that he didn't want her to change anything about her in attempts to impress others and get their approval. Since that was never her style to begin with. And it made him realize that Quinn, in a way, felt the same way about the wedding. He then realized exactly what he was gonna do and say. Immediately, he ran straight to his car and headed for the apartment. On the way, he stopped for a bouquet and some balloons. Nervous and anxious, Logan drove back to the apartment, preparing what he was going to say, thinking about the others getting ready on campus, etc. All he hoped for was that Quinn still had hope for their future and that she'd give him another chance to make things right. As well as giving her a surprise re-proposal once they'd arrive at the campus. Arriving at the apartment, he drew a deep breath and whispered to himself, "Ok. Here we go."

My mini Quogan ff pt. 1

Ok, I tried my best to write in English. Sorry for all the mistakes that you'll find in it. - Fran

Quinn stared at her reflection, tears in her eyes. She knew why she had ended up staring at her reflection, her hair tousled, her face still swollen with sleep, her makeup from the night before unmade, wearing an old Logan's sweatshirt with the P.C.A. insignia. And she was also pretty sure she knew the when and where that had brought her there. Now she had to deal with the rest. Quinn knew that in order to test a hypothesis, multiple attempts must be made. Was it possible that it had really taken so little? She touched the plastic stick with his fingertips, as if to ascertain once again the value of her thesis. A couple of drinks and now she had been faced with four positive pregnancy tests. She knew that the result of a single test could be biased, but the percentage that four different tests were all wrong was very small. It had only been a few weeks since the talk regarding their future and the possibility of trying to stop using contraceptives. What will it be they had said to each other. No pressure. None at all. Then again, they both knew that the path to having a baby could be longer than expected. No calendar, no ovulation test. They would simply continue to make love freely. And not even a month later they had succeeded. Evidently Quinn had also underestimated their fertility. Her first suspicion had arisen last week when she and Logan had gone to Seattle to celebrate spring break with Quinn's parents and grandmother. Her mother had made the usual roast, and Quinn had sharpened a very severe bout of nausea. At first she had blamed jetlag. After all, she had just returned from a trip to Tokyo, and it was normal to feel a little sick. The nausea had continued throughout the week, at regular intervals but the girl had not given it much thought. She had willingly accepted Logan's thoughtful attention to her when she was sick. Until the night before. It was her and Logan's engagement anniversary so they had gone out to dinner at an exclusive L.A. club. They had ordered lobster and wine, and Quinn, after just two sips, had felt dizzy. It was then that she had paid attention to her menstrual cycle app. It was almost six days late. She knew they could mean nothing, like everything. Sometimes it had happened to her before, and she and Logan had been more scared than they should have been when they were just two teens. Not now. Now they were two adults with two stable careers. And clearly money had never been an issue for them. So there she is. Standing in the patron bathroom with a positive pregnancy test in her hand. Quinn came out of the bathroom. Her bare feet silently tapping on the hardwood floor and her robe swaying with every step she took. Logan was still asleep. He was shirtless, lying on his stomach with both arms under the pillow. He was snoring softly and smiling in his sleep.She could not hold back a smile. Sometimes it seemed to her that she was still looking at that 17-year-old curly-haired boy, full of himself and crazy about money. They had certainly come a long way together.Quinn gasped: she did not know how to tell him. God, he will freak out for sure.

Ok, I am currently writting a MASSIVE long fanfic about Quogan during their Senior Year. 🥰

So basically I started writting it one month ago, after I saw "Zoey 102 movie". I re watched all the season 3 and season 4 Zoey 101's episodes and I was thinking that it was a SHAME that we didn't see what could have been happenned during their Senior Year at the P.C.A. There will be smut, of course cause Quogan's relationship will become more mature during their last hs year, they were teen afterall. But otherwise, the story will show their journey together as a couple... with all the gang of course (school, family, proms, friendship). Anyways this ff is going to be so long. Right now it is 60 pages, but I probably will post it when I will finish it... so maybe next Summer. It is written in italian, cause english is not my first language but I can traslate some special cabpterhs if somebody is interrate in it. Anyway I lunk down below my Wattpad account with all my ff (again they are witten in italian).

I’m a grown woman obsessed with Logan and Quinn suddenly again like a 12 year old after that trailer. And I have some thoughts. We have possible outcomes that I can see based on the limited scenes we got. The bad case: they get engaged off screen and announce it to Zoey over FaceTime like we saw in the trailer. Then Quinn does a runner on the wedding day (we do get a shot of her running in a wedding dress), and the wedding ends up being about chase and Zoey getting back together. We see Logan has a headset on in pretty much every shot, including when he’s standing at the alter (wtf Logan?). Maybe Quinn sees this, and panics, and thinks money and work will come before her so she runs. Eventually they end up back together, and we then get that shot of him proposing again and promising it won’t happen (with Zoey there, why 🙄) and we are left with the implication they’ll get married eventually. It’s also the 1 scene between the two of them where he isn’t wearing his headset which adds value to the whole he’s a workaholic thing and Quinn’s had enough. The thing that makes me confused is that Quinn is 100% already wearing her engagement ring in that shot, and Logan 100% has jewellery in that box. The better option: Logan is jokingly giving her some jewellery in a ring box, and her nodding is just a weird cut to something else he said (I.e., not accepting a proposal). That scene is weird as well because Zoey’s 2 best friends of almost 20 years are getting engaged, Quinn is nodding yes and Zoey looks confused and worried. The confusing thing about it is Quinn’s hair is short, but it is long for every other shot. Cause Quinn and Logan look different in that shot to the rest of the movie, I was hoping that perhaps it’s a flashback to when they got engaged many years ago and it has just been a really long engagement. So when they tell Zoey over FaceTime, it’s not about getting married it’s about them finally setting a date? But that doesn’t tie into why Quinn has an engagement ring on already. Regardless of how it happens I know they’ll 100% end up together but I don’t want them to be plot devices to Zoey and chase. I may be losing my mind over this. I need a break but had to share my obsessive thoughts with someone.

oh man, where do I start. I'm also a grown person obsessed with a ship from my childhood. I said it a lot of times heheh but Quogan was my first ship and the first fanfic I ever read was about them. I didn't know what a fanfic was and really thought that was some deleted scene or something XD.

I would hate to if they don't get married at the end, that would be so disappointing, but it would not ruin the ship for me, I'd simply not consider the movie canon and make/read a fic fixing that lol.

I am bothered by Zoey being there for the proposal/or whatever that was, because ugh can we, please, have something? without her? please? I never cared about her character (or anyone aside from Logan and Quinn, really) So I hope they don't make that moment about them.

I do hope it's a flashback, but like you said, the ring makes it not make sense.

I was also wondering about Logan's headset, I thought it was more of him being a bridezilla and controlling the whole wedding and making it all about himself, excluding Quinn unintentionaly lol.

I need to rewatch the show to refresh my memory about the characters, it's been years after all. I never saw Logan as the workaholic kind, but I could be wrong or he could have changed, idk.

Either way, all I hope right now is that they end up together. If they decide marriage is not for them, I'll accept it as long as they don't separate. God please don't let that happen. Tho I won't deny I would be pissed, since they are advertising this using their wedding as a bait and for them to not give us that at the end? very shady. We would be quoganbaited lol.

Speaking of that, I too don't want them to be a plot device for Zoey and Chase. I can't stress enough how much I don't care about them. And I understand the movie is about finally getting them together, but please, let us have Quogan in peace. The two ships can co-exist without overshadowing the other (despite one being clearly superior ehem)

Trumai (yes, both versions), the successor of Vegebul, they have me in a hold just as strong as them, it's such a weird but fun pairing, I adore them

Hurrem x Suleiman (look at themmmmm) everytime suleyman spoke his poems to hurrem I melted, no ship has ever have such romantic quotes. Plus, i use a lot of their scenes for royal aus, it's just gold

2. First Ever Ship

I think it was either Sparrabeth or Quogan, I'm not too sure (Quogan was the first ship I've read a fanfic of tho). I'm still obsessed with both, maybe more than when I was younger. I remember wanting Spareabeth to be endgame and to know more of Quogan's life after the show's end, but now it's a NEED

3. Last Song

Funeral by Mon Laferte. It's an amazing song, it speaks of being in a loveless/passionless relationship and wondering how it got that way and wanting nothing more than for it to finally reach its end. My favorite part goes something like this: "While I prepare breakfast I feel so terribly alone, suddenly I want to die, I want to run away from you. I wish I was on the ocean, letting the waves carry me away, I want to stop breathing; dont wake me up, I want to keep dreaming about our funeral" not a perfect translation, but you get the point. The narrator feels so helpless and is so desperate to find a way put an end to that relationship, other part of the song reflects her regret on how they both let the relationship die and wishes she could go back in time and prevent it, but nonetheless their love has died and they're both wasting their time by still being together.

I listen to it a lot when I need to think an angst AU or something lol. But the singer is so good and shows such emotions through her voice, it makes me relate, even tho I've never been on that situation (thankfully)

If you want to get into Hispanic music, I definitely recommend Mon Laferte, she's one of my favorite artist, "Se me va a quemar el corazón" is another amazing song of hers that I recommend.

5. Currently Reading

Nothing new, I've re read my favorite books, The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Chronicle of a Death Foretold by GGM. The little prince was the first book ive ever read, I always heard it's a book you should read as a kid and then later as an adult, and my God, it's true, it's a completely different experience. 6 yo me thought it was a fun book about a man hallucinating in the desert, 24 yo me cred like a baby full of longing for a childhood I didn't appreciate and grief of the kid in me that inevitably died as I grew up and became an adult.

I never tire of reading CoaDF, everytime I expect the end to be different even tho the very beginning tells you what's gonna happen.

I dont have much time, so I choose those too bc they're a short read. However, I'm gonna start to reread asoiaf books too, bc I can never get enough of them

Like I said, I have no time, so I stick to Sitcoms I can put on the bg while I work. I'm currently rewatching The Nanny, I forgot how much I loved it. And I swear, I'll start dressing as Fran as soon as I have time to buy new clothes, her style is just, mwah chef's kiss, obsessed.

And omg, I forgot how slow the burn in this show was, its Season 5 and they're still not dating!!!! Immabout to throw gasoline at them!!!!!

Do you think in the 15 years that they’ve been together, Quinn and Logan have…..? Ya know…?

And if so could it have happened at PCA?!

Of course they had! With how passionate they were as soon as they started dating, them waiting 15 years for it would be the biggest plot twist.

They're not religious as far as I'm aware, so I don't think they have any other reason to wait till marriage (if they did, then they would have been married looong ago)

However, their relationship was still innocent on the beggining, despite the passion they clearly had for each other (which I appreciate considering what we now know about el sucio Dan), I imagine there was a lot of hand holding, sweet kisses, then heavy petting and yadda yadda yadda, yk? like slow build up to it. So while I do believe it might have happened while still on PCA, I think it would have been maybe on their last year or around it.

Logan IS a horny character, but he was so sweet with Quinn, I don't think he would have pressure her or try to hurry the process, I think they would have gotten there when they both felt ready.

But I really doubt they waited that long lol.

Back to el sucio Dan, I'm kinda glad the show ended there, because he would have sexualized the hell out of those two if given the chance, so I rather that stays on our minds and interpretations.

I remember reading a few fics back in the day about their first time, and it's kinda funny when I think of it, because like I said a few times, Quogan was the ship that made me discover fanfics, but at first I didn't know those were fan inventions, I thought those were deleted scenes from the script or something, so imagine my surprise when I thought they were going to include a sex scene into Zoey 101 and I barely understood what sex was! XD

I think I would like to give it a try at their first time, maybe I'll write something in the future, but I wanna focus on the fluff first, and the smut I'm really interested on writing is their honeymoon (but I'll wait till after the movie so I have more context of them)

I haven’t gotten a chance to watch the Zoey 102 movie until recently. I walked in with really really low expectations. Some people are definitely trashing it because of the whole controversy with Britney (which is complex and more layer than people would like to believe) and not focusing on the actual film.

It was actually not bad at all. I quite enjoyed it and it was pretty fun compared to most reboots of our childhood shows that I’ve seen. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it. A solid 6/10. The only issue is that I felt that it was a bit rushed (causing hurried explanations and a bit lack of chemistry between certain characters) A one season reboot show would have actually worked better in this case to build the story more carefully.

I know that the director recently said in an interview that they are think about a sequel movie. I wouldn’t be mad at it if they give it a better pace and give the other characters more screen time (especially scenes with Michael, Logan and Chase)

I’m not sure if you watched the movie yet or intend to but someone like yourself (who based on your writing really knows the depth of these characters and their world) I would love to hear your opinion of the movie if you ever do.

Hello, I am glad you enjoyed it! I agree with you that people solely bashing the show because of what happened with Britney and Alexa gets tiresome, because the original show had some merit despite those issues, and because you can just decide to not watch the movie instead of constantly talking about it (it's not like anyone is really on JL's side anyway).

I have no intention of watching it but @queenlova101 kindly gave me an extremely thorough rundown. To be blunt, I hated it. The downside of writing these characters for thousands of words is you do get to "know" them, so I think it's possible that I would have hated a reboot no matter how good it was because it was different to my version of them. Part of that is circumstance - anything is possible in a fanfic, compared to real life where you have budgets and availabilities. But I've seen other people say it didn't really feel like the original show, and to me they just made some baffling choices that shows they had no idea what the fans actually wanted or even liked about the original show.

Zoey should not be the main character to that extent (or at all really. Also why is she a producer), you should pander to the Quogan fans more, and most of all, you should have Chase and Michael (and Logan, but especially those two) interact as much as possible instead of not at all. I hate What Did Zoey Say with a passion, and Dan could not write for shit in 2015, but even he got that right. It feels like they told ChatGPT to write a script only going off the character names and every rom-com that got released c. 2008-2012.

I agree with you about the one-season reboot. Before I started actually writing fanfic I semi-planned out a season and a movie because I was more interested in screenwriting at the time. So again, I feel like I have potentially thought more about this show than anyone actually involved in the movie, so being disappointed was somewhat inevitable. I am also, at my core, a hater.

I personally hope they don't do a sequel movie or anything else. Neither attempt at an "adult" continuation has worked, it's just fallen into the trap most other reboots have of not having them change since high school and undermining a lot of what people liked about the show (I don't love PCA but that's! The main! Draw! You just shot yourself in the foot!). Frankly I would just like them to put the S3 cast (minus JL) in a new show with similar vibes and call it a day. That I think would actually be fun, and would make more sense than whatever they are doing now.
