Anisea and LaTeesha met at a bar, in their 40's. Anisea was going through a breakup with a man and getting her second daughter to college. Nothing about their timing was right.

It was Anisea who made the first move, and here they are five years later. Their wedding was a family affair. Anisea's daughters were her bridesmaids, and Teesha's sister and niece hers. Their brother officiated, and every part of the day was all they could have wished for.

Not looking for anything right now, but when I start back. I want a woman who I can look at and see walking down the aisle to As- Stevie Wonder or When We Jump- Jai’len Josey because hear me out, look at the little visual.

A darkskinned, black woman walks down the aisle. As she steps out all sides slowly rise and at her first step plays…

She takes her first steps out as the string instruments play. Like oh my God, if I wasn’t already in love, I’m in love now, actually someone do some snaps in my face, I might not still be among the living because what?!? Like aye yo, I know my bride, my partner, my life is walking down the aisle but please check that I’m still alive like the happiness might have killed me.

My person, my person?!? Like having a person?!? Like a woman?!? A partner?!? She, they said yes like enthusiastically yes, like pinch me, I’m dreaming and I better not wake up.

And it’s not a deal breaker if neither one of them play, because my mind plays song association and best believe some lines from love songs are going in those vows.

I'll give it this, this season has certainly managed to become one of the bleakest shows on tv. The small scenes of hope just aren't enough sometimes. Does a wedding cancel out constantly killing off established and loved characters? I'm not sure.

So much of this show in the beginning was about how hope & friendship can conquer any obstacle, even death. But this season is just... depressing. Why even introduce Lupe? Other than specifically to pull a GoT omg-so-shocking-right-guys style grimdark stunt.

The real world's harsh enough. I watch this show to escape it. I watch this show so that I can see this imaginary version of events where woman are believed and queer people get to be happy. But now so much of MFS is just "how brutal can the GOP be to QWOC today"

And sure the bright moments are bright, but my god it's an upsetting trudge to get there.

I haven't heard Markiplier make content with p*wd*epie in years. I don't watch streamers on my own but my younger brother does and he watches Markiplier when he visits me since I have better internet so I hear most of it. They used to feature each other and Mark defended P* a few times after the antisemitism which was really bad. My brother says he hasn't heard Mark even mention P* for like 4 or so years tho and there was an issue about Mark not giving congrats to P* for the wedding 3yrs ago. Makes sense if theyre no longer friends as Mark seems to be increasingly declarative of his left leaning stances and is now closer to people who are more left leaning

My personal opinion: Mark is half-German, half-Korean, and seems to have grown up middle class? So personally I would not be surprised if he was one of us asians who grew up in a household just content with a better life and assuming we just have to follow their rules and that person was totally being nice and not presumptive when they "appreciated" an accent or they were just being stupid with those poor jokes. Like I have relatives who firmly are anti imperialist anti fascist and have been to protests since before I was born and yet think cultural appropriation isnt a thing. They think some jokes are in poor taste but that person was nice when I met them so they didn't mean it in such a serious hateful way. I had that kind of mindset with certain topics when I was younger even if I was a qwoc with left leaning parents. I just got exposed earlier to both the worst kinds of people and the kinds of people who went through even worse things than me and learned to see the effects of what many deemed "tasteless but mostly harmless jokes". So personally I can imagine Mark probably didnt/doesnt quite fully grasp systemic oppression and probably defended P* based on the idea that hate must be obvious and overt and P* wasn't quite like that in front of them just "jokes made in poor taste". He would be wrong of course and needed to be called out but its a place that can still be unlearned and is probably a contributor to why they grew apart in the past years. Mark seems to believe in creating a world that cares amd believes in human rights in a "don't do harm - be kind" way but seems to not have (at the time of the issue) learned that its a slippery slope for those kinds of "jokes". But he does seem to be learning and growing based on his vids made to bring attention to and in support of some issues. But id need him to acknowledge that wrong before I suggest anyone fully trust him. Especially since I don't think he's made clear anything about his stance on antisemitism since. But in terms of content he doesn't seem to make something bigoted on his own but if something is bigoted and it tends to be less than obvious, he might not notice/critique it. So dont fully trust but so far the content he creates with exception to his defense of p* doesnt seem to be problematic. He's distanced himself from p but he hasnt called out p either. I dont know if thats a business decision and they simply decided to not interact with each other - because Mark owns a clothing company and is cofounder and business partner with Jacksepticeye. And last I heard Jack was still friends with P*. But take that as you will

I proposed to the love of my life today, even though she already proposed to me in August! I took her on a scavenger hunt through our fav NYC spots then ended at a wedding venue that we really liked and proposed, then we took a tour of it! @winewithmeh is the best part of my life and we have forever to go!
