"Hey Kev?" You called out to your boyfriend, who was currently immersed in whatever he was doing on his phone.

"Yeah?" He responded, looking up from his phone and focusing his attention on you.

Smirking, you decided to poke a little fun at him because you were just that much of a menace, and the next words you uttered were,

"Imagine having milk bags."

"Wha–hey!" Kevin exclaimed, greatly offended.

"That was so uncalled for! That's not even from my part of Canada!"

"Too bad, so sad," You teased, your smirk growing into a wider evil grin.

"Oh, is that how it is? Well, imagine having greasy fried food every day,” He retorted, hands on his hips like a child sassing back at their parents.

“Hey! That is not true!” You protested, hands up in the air in disbelief.

“Imagine using the metric system.”

“Imagine using the imperial system, who even understands that?” Kevin grumbled. “Americans.”

“Ugh, rude!” You scowled, arms crossed.

 “And for your information, the imperial system is VERY easy to understand.”

“Uh, how are cups easier to understand than milliliters?” Kevin questioned, an eyebrow raised. 

There was radio silence from you, as you didn’t know how to reply.

“Exactly,” He smirked, a smug tone in his voice.

“Well–well–imagine curling, what kind of weird sport is that?” You spluttered out, desperate for a comeback.

“Imagine football, I can’t believe you guys cheer for people who literally wrestle over a ball and kick it ONCE,” Kevin emphasized the ‘once’.

“Well imagine maple leaf!”

“Imagine stars and stripes!”

“Imagine Canada!”

“Imagine America!”

By now, you and Kevin were nose to nose, with you standing on your toes to reach Kevin’s height. After an awkward pause, both of you burst out laughing because of how ridiculous this little squabble was.

“Wow, that was…unnecessarily intense,” Kevin managed a breathy laugh, backing away from you to give you both room.

“We still love each other, right?”

“Hmm, I don’t know–do I?” You challenged, a humorous tone in your voice. 

“Ouch, you’re questioning your love for me?” Kevin mock-gasped, putting his hand over his heart in a dramatic motion.

“That, (Y/N), hurt, right here.”

“Sorry, not sorry, Kev,” You walked up to him, patting his cheek lightly before placing a gentle kiss on it. His face bloomed bright pink and was contorted into a sulky pout.

“You’re mean.”

“I know.”

Dean wakes from a dream that quickly slips through his fingers. Something feels off. The first light of morning filters through the curtains but the waves crashing promise to lull him back to sleep. He shivers. 

Wait. 

Why am I so cold? 

He slaps his right arm behind himself, searching for the furnace that is usually pressed to his back. He's met with cool sheets where a warm body had been. The body that has risen at an ungodly hour every morning of this beach trip to go down to the ocean.

It feels wrong to go to sleep without him. 

Dean's thought is interrupted by the bedroom door creaking open and then closed with a soft click. The bed dips and an arm returns to its rightful place wrapped around him. A chin rests on top of his head. Legs, suspiciously, don't tangle with his. 

"What time is it?" Dean mumbles. 

There's a kiss placed in his hair, "Shh, go back to sleep." 

"Cas, if you're getting sand in this bed again-"

Cas clicks his tongue, "I would never."

"You literally did yesterday!" Dean can't help but smile. Cas tightens his arm around Dean.

"Ok, there might be a little sand. I'll wash the sheets this time."

They're silent for a few minutes and Dean finally feels warm again. 

"Hey Cas," Dean mumbles against the pillow, "I thought of a joke." 

"Oh? What is it?"

"What's the ocean's most popular music group?"

"Hmm, the Beach Boys?"

"Cas," Dean says with mock exasperation, "Babe."

Cas chuckles and thinks a bit.

"The Submarines? Noah and The Whale? Seapony?" Dean can hear the grin in Cas' voice.

Dean groans, "Sweetheart, try to think of the music I listen to."

"Um,  Sand-tana?"

"No, but that's actually a good guess."

Cas buries his nose in Dean's neck. "Ok, then what is the ocean's most popular music group?"

"A Sea D Sea," Dean says, giggling to himself.

Dean can feel Cas smile against his neck. "Oh, of course it is." Cas gently kisses behind his ear.

"You know," he trails kisses across Dean's shoulder, "it's very attractive when you come up with puns just for me."

"Oh?" Dean feels his face heat up. Cas continues kissing his way down his back.

"Mmm it's too early."

Cas pauses. "Who are you and what have you done with my husband?"

"Hey, I'm on vacation," Dean grins, definitely not squirming. He turns to press a kiss to Cas' lips.

"Exactly," Cas says, slowly sending his hand south, "Plus I have to wash the sheets anyway."

"Ok, but we have to take a nap later," Dean gasps.

"I'm amenable to that."

Uhh I don’t really have many tbh 😅 she isn’t one of my stronger characters but uh here’s a few:

Rachel loves toasted waffles. She eats them sour cream and honey.

She’s a huge Pink Floyd fan.

Rachel always has one of those local wildflower shakers with her and she spreads the flower seeds everywhere she goes. (This was @/echo-at-the-pond ‘s idea, thanks echo :D)

22. Do you have a secret talent? If yes, what is it?

I don’t know if it’s a secret talent exactly, but I taught myself to solder from youtube so I could build lightsaber guts (like sophisticated toy ones, not actual laser prototypes). (funnily enough I just realized I learned every hobby I currently have from youtube videos😂) I also am really good at remembering little details that people tell me or mention about themselves. I sometimes have to pretend to remember less than I actually do, since it sometimes weirds people out. But if I love you or even remotely like you I’m gonna remember it, I have no control over that😅.

38. What is the color of your socks?

currently they are black and grey and sadly they are developing a hole in the heel. alas, another pair of good socks that will have to be thrown out😔.

49. If you could breed two animals together to defy the laws of nature, what new animal would you create?

this one stumped me for a minute. everything that came to mind at first was too cursed lol. I think any mustelidae crossed with birds because I think it’d be funny. Can you imagine a badger with wings flying over you? Or a weasel😂.
