PS: the only games this isn't possible are SwSh, PLA, & SV. You can soft reset for a starter in BDSP tho (soft reset is when you go back to the title screen, on 3DS and back there's a button combo for going straight back to the title without potentially ruining your console but Switch has you needing to fully exit out and close the software. In case you wanted to try this method one day and didn't know about it ^^")

Or imagine the characters having to relive time over and over again. End up in a Groundhog Day scenario where you reset time trying to find one Shiny Boi™

You will have your shiny starter one way or another >:( even if it takes you all week.

All while the characters in your tiny console sigh as you reset time again for the 528th time in a row-

The hermits don’t often realize how much like Doccy is similar to his dad none was clearer then when Doc asked Mumbo and Gem to babysit him for an afternoon while he had to help Tango wrangle an escaped ravager that had somehow ended up in the perimeter. And to their credit Mumbo and Gem thought this would be a relaxing afternoon of watching the tiny goat…creeper…toddler an boy they quickly realized how wrong they were. They took their eyes off him for a literal second and next thing they know they found Doccy building a teleporter specifically to the cookie jar that actually worked…yup he’s his dad’s son alright.

Mumbo was excited to show Doccy some basic redstone and see what they'd picked up already! It turns out the answer is too much. Not only does Doccy build a teleporter to the cookie jar, but by the time Gem finds them, they've also made a contraption to open it. All using the beginner's redstone set Mumbo left out, and a few stolen pieces from his chests...

At least Doccy seems happy. And Doccy's achievements will hopefully distract Doc from the large amount of cookie crumbs in Doccy's fur.

i am not joking when i say trolls have gotten shittier at what they do. successful trolling and flamebait is a lost art. nowadays they just send you an ask like "it's really problematic that you did XYZ" expecting you to get angry and defensive. and thats because most people have honestly really failed to adapt to this kind of trolling? it keeps working, they keep doing it.

if an anon criticizes you all like "im a lesbian and-" or "im a trans man and-" or "im a poc and-" or whatever thats your queue to disregard everything they say. because you cant verify that. you have to internalize that it's in your best interest to treat all annoying anons as being sent by the same white middle class american cishet guy named kyle, and he just has a lot of free time and no friends.

"but what if it's not kyle! what if theyre actually a lesbian/trans man/poc/&c?" well theyre not looking for open discussion, if they were they wouldnt send an anon ask. so it literally doesnt matter, treat them as if theyre kyle anyway. and remember youre not a public figure youre literally just blogging, you dont need to be "held accountable" for anything.

and same goes for "thoughts on [controversial topic]?" and "why did you do [accusation]?" type anon asks. thats kyle again, hes just gotten bored with claiming every marginalized identity under the sun. if they wanna prove theyre not kyle all they gotta do is uncheck that box.

BUT, imagine he arrives early and not wanting to risk his family by defying prophecy he spends the remaining time as a beggar. Penelope knowing its him, but can't risk naming him, losing him when he's so close; just hoping the man who watches over her and Telemachus from the shadows isn't a trick of the Gods

Personally I think that if that happens, they should just hire him as like a goatherd or something. Give him a fake name, a fake story. I mean he's already so good at those. Have him help around the palace. Talk with Penelope in the dead of night for hours. Say nothing at all

Speaking of the DLC, what about the player meeting the Professor from the past at the Crystal Pond? In the Self-Aware AU would it be possible for Turo/Sada to break the code & be reunited with Arven & become the parent the game forces them both to not be? 👀

I'm just imagining the horror of the possibility. Poor Arven is cooking a nice sandwich, and Turo or Sada appear as a glitchy mess, like a modern MissingNo.

Arven screams, nearly dropping his food as he falls to the floor, all before Turo or Sada disappear because they can't stabilize the code.

Arven looks at his sandwich as he tries to settle his beating heart, and wonders if he had a bad reaction to the new ingredients he added-

If there’s one thing the hermits know it’s that Keralis can keep a secret disturbingly well and will make good use of those secrets as a means to keep them from starting another war, rebellion, whatever he will fully admit he didn’t see the perimeter incident coming but you can bet he’s the one who gave Grian, Scar, and Mumbo half the ideas they used without them even realizing it.

Keralis uses his secrets for good and for evil. One of those is that he's very good at implanting an idea in someone's head as if they thought of it. It means he gets to spice up some conflicts without seeming directly responsible.

The others, though... Keralis is just a good guy to keep secrets. He seems to know which are genuine, heartfelt things and which can be used for blackmail. It's never something they need to tell him, he just knows. He'll lend an ear when someone needs it, and cause or prevent chaos when he sees fit.

It's a nice balance to have.

I love the canon heights and I love everyone's interpretations, but how funny do you think it would be if Spongebob's human version/disguise made him the tallest out of the entire Nicktoons Unite gang?

It would be so freaking funny if the gang wanted to casually hang out with SpongeBob outside of HQ, so Timmy wishes for SpongeBob to be human for the day and he ends up towering over everyone else as a seven foot tall model or something. Even Jenny has to crane her neck up to look him in the eye.
