Instead of dealing with all this head on, you avoided it. You put everything aside and went on with life, spending all your time doing work, studying and doing your university projects.
Wonwoo noticed this and decided to invite you for a night out. Just a chill night with some drinks. Usually, you would decline, which is why Wonwoo has never invited you out. But you could use the distraction. Maybe being out of the house was good.
DING DONG
“Coming!” You ran down, fixing your earring. You didn’t really know how to dress for a night out like this so you picked a random dress. It was a dark blue, crushed velvet cocktail dress.
“Come on in.” You opened the door for him. Wonwoo smiled, bowing before removing his shoes to come in.
“This dress isn’t really motorcycle friendly, is it?” You let out an awkward laugh, going into the kitchen to get your phone that you left there to charge.
“I didn’t ride my bike since we might drink. I’ll call a cab.” Wonwoo said. He just stood in the doorway, unsure of what to do since it was the first time he was in your house.
“(y/n)?” Wonwoo suddenly called your name, stopping you in your tracks.
“You look great.” He smiled softly.
“Oh... Thank you.” You felt your cheeks heat up at his sudden compliment. He held out a hand to support you as you wore your shoes. After locking up the house, he escorted you to the cab that was waiting for you. And of course, Wonwoo opened the door for you to get in first, being the gentleman that he is. The car ride was silent.
“C-Can I ask you something?” Wonwoo threaded lightly. You hummed, nodding your head.
“I know you like your privacy and I shouldn’t pry but there were this rumours and pictures floating around about some expensive sports car and handsome guy picking you up. Is he one of them?” He asked nervously.
“If by ‘one of them’, you mean my father’s... employees. Yes, he is... or was. There are 7 of them.” You rubbed the back of your neck.
“Are they bothering you?”
“Can we not talk about this anymore? I just don’t want to have to think about it for a few minutes.” That came out a lot harsher and colder than you expected. But Wonwoo didn’t react.
“Sorry. I’m...” You sighed, not really knowing how to piece your words together anymore.
“I understand. Don’t worry about it. I didn’t mean to pry.” Wonwoo smiled comfortingly. Thankfully for you, the cab stopped outside the club. You looked at the long line outside that didn’t seem to be moving,
“Don’t look so worried. My friend put our name on the list so we can just walk in.” Wonwoo laughed. You both got out and he grasped your hand, giving your names to the bouncer. You were so stunned by his action that you just followed him without a word, letting him lead you.
“There’s a table there.” Wonwoo said in your ear on top of the loud music. You were still shocked that he was holding your hand that you just followed him.
“Phew, it’s crowded.” You said, casually pulling your hand away to check if you dropped anything from your bag.
“Yeah, that’s what you get for being here on a Friday night.” He chuckled. You stood at the table while Wonwoo went to get drinks at the bar. The standing table was thankfully at the side of the bar, which meant less people.
“Relax, you’re here to have fun.” You told yourself.
“Here.” Wonwoo got himself a beer and got you a cocktail. It was a nice refreshing drink with flavoured soju as the alcohol.
“Let me know how much everything is tonight and we’ll split the cost.” You told him as you took a sip.
“It’s okay, (y/n). It’s my treat, just enjoy yourself.” Wonwoo smiled. He clinked his glass with yours. Although this wasn’t your exact idea of relaxing, you were glad that the noise and the crowd made the place too loud that you didn’t need to start sharing your feelings. Wonwoo was a good friend but you just weren’t used to sharing so much about yourself with others.
After some drinks, you excused yourself to go to the toilet. But of course, there was a line. About 15 minutes went by without the line moving. You were about to give up when someone grabbed your wrist.
“(y/n) sshi?” You looked at the familiar face.
“Oh... Uh...”
“Yoongi.” He said, letting you go. You nodded your head. Other people in the line now had their attention on you and Yoongi.
“Come.” He nodded over to follow him. You didn’t know why you just went along, not even asking why he wanted you to go with him. You came before a staircase with two guards. But they parted ways upon seeing Yoongi.
“Sir.” They bowed respectfully as Yoongi cooly walked up, hands tucked into his pockets. You quickly bowed your heads back to the guards and caught up to Yoongi.
“You can use this bathroom instead. It’s cleaner and safer.” Yoongi stopped before a door.
“A-Are you sure?”
“If I wasn’t sure, I wouldn’t have went down to fish you out of the crowd. Take all the time you need. This is our own private bathroom so no one else is allowed to use it.” He explained. You nodded, bowing gratefully to him before entering the restroom.
The bathroom was a lot more opulent and grand, with black granite and gold trims. Like Yoongi said, it was very clean, unlike a usual club bathroom. It was definitely a boys bathroom with urinals but you just used one of the stalls.
“Hyung, why can’t I use the bathroom? I really need to go!” You heard voices outside as you were washing your hands.
“Only the 7 of us use it anyway. Unless... Do you have a secret guest in there?!” The person talking to Yoongi gasped as if he just uncovered something scandalous.
“Watch your mouth.” You heard Yoongi threaten.
“Sorry, I’m done.” You opened the door. But you didn’t expect Yoongi to be standing so close that you ended up bumping into his back.
“Oh, no wonder hyung was guarding the bathroom.” The male said. He didn’t mind you and just brushed past to use the bathroom. Yoongi moved you away from the bathroom door, not wanting you to accidentally get hit.
“Thank you. Is it okay if I just stay here for a few more minutes? You can go back to what you were doing before.” You asked timidly. Yoongi took one look at you and nodded. You didn’t need to tell him anything for him to know what you were thinking. The club was getting overwhelming. Yoongi never really liked coming too unless his brothers make him.
“Why did you come if you don’t like it?”
“A friend brought me here as a distraction. Plus, I’ve never really come to a club before.” You replied. Yoongi nodded his head.
“You don’t need to stay and accompany me. I’ll go back down in a bit.” You said.
“It’s okay.” He leaned against the opposite wall. You took your phone out to send Wonwoo a text, assuring him that you were safe and that he could go home first. But you didn’t tell him where you were and who you were with.
“Actually... I wanted to apologise. My brothers told me I shouldn’t have offered you a smoke the other time. I just thought it would help.” Yoongi looked at you.
“It’s fine. I honestly didn’t think too much about it. There were other things to think about.” You shook your head.
“Understandable. I’m sure you have your fair share of confusion and questions that come along with it. This is just the start.” Yoongi said. You didn’t let his straightforward tone faze you, nodding your head glumly.
“Well, I should go. Thanks for letting me hang here.” You straightened up.
“No worries. I’ll walk you down.” Yoongi followed suit. You walked behind him, not sure of the way to the exit. With your insistence, Wonwoo had gone home on his own. You did feel bad for abandoning him when he was the one that invited you out but you also didn’t want him to wait.
“Do you have a ride home?” Yoongi asked.
“I told my friend to go home first so I guess I can get a cab home.” You waved him off, getting your phone out. But Yoongi stopped you, his hand grasping your phone and covering the screen.
“It’s not safe and cheap to get a cab from here at this time. I drank a little so I shouldn’t drive. Hang on.” Yoongi waved over one of the bouncers.
“Use the company car and send her home then report back.” Yoongi ordered.
“Yoongi sshi, it’s really okay.”
“Get the address from her and make sure you see her entering the house before coming back.” Yoongi ignored you. The bouncer nodded and bowed, running off the get the car.
“(y/n) sshi, hyung.” You both turned to see Taehyung jogging over. He had a big, square-ish grin as he waved.
“Jimin said you were here and that Yoongi hyung was with you. Are you driving her home, hyung?” Taehyung tilted his head.
“I drank. So was gonna get one of the workers to drive her back.” Yoongi explained, standing back as he lit a cigarette to smoke. Taehyung nodded his head.
“I’ll drive you home. I didn’t drink since I am the designated driver tonight. Bring my car instead.” Taehyung called out. The worker bowed and ran back into the club. Yoongi decided to go in first after his cigarette was done, not liking being out in the cold. He shot you a nod while you bowed gratefully to him. While waiting, Taehyung put his jacket over your shoulders.
“Did you come alone?” Taehyung asked.
“No... I came with a friend but I abandoned him. Yoongi sshi was kind enough to let me hang out in the quiet area. So I told my friend to go home first.” You said. You didn’t know why you were explaining so much to him.
“This isn’t you scene, is it?” He teased. You pursed your lips and shook your head. The noise and the crowd just wasn’t comfortable.
“Sir.” The car stopped right in front of you. The worker came out, bowing and passing Taehyung’s keys to him.
“Here you go. Watch your head.” Taehyung opened the car door for you to enter. You sat inside, keeping the sides of his jacket close to you so it wouldn’t get caught in the door.
Taehyung confirmed your address before starting to drive. One hand held his head, elbow resting on the door next to him while the other hand was on the steering wheel. During the quiet ride, you fiddled with the hem of the dress, pulling it down every now and then.
“Are you cold?” He asked.
“No, I’m good. Thank you.” You replied softly. With your head leaning against the headrest, you looked out the window. The only reason you would be out this late usually was because you were working.
“Thanks for dropping me off again.” You said as Taehyung pulled up outside of your house.
“Any time.” Taehyung smiled. You unbluckled your seatbelt and got out of the car. But before you could walk further, Taehyung rolled down the window.
“Goodnight, (y/n)!”
“G-Goodnight, Taehyung sshi.” A small smile formed on your lips as you bowed your head and entered the house. Like the other day, Taehyung only drove off after he was sure you had entered the house.
Only after you entered the house and you heard Taehyung drive off, that you realised you had forgotten the return him his jacket. You removed it carefully, as if any movement would cause it to tear like tissue. You inspected it, trying to figure out if you should wash it on your own, and risk ruining the expensive material, or just send it for dry cleaning.
“Hi, Wonwoo. Did you make it home safe?”
“Oh, (y/n). Yes, I am home. I went home after you sent me that text. Are you alright? You scared me.”
“Yes, I am alright. I just found a quiet space to chill for a while so I didn’t want you to wait for me. I just got home. Sorry for ruining the night. I’ll make it up to you, I promise.” You said, putting your shoes away.
“Don’t say that, (y/n). I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy yourself.”
“I did enjoy myself, Wonwoo. Thank you for bringing me out to feel better.” You laughed. After wishing each other good night, you hung up.
You took a shower and was feeling peckish so you made yourself some ramyeon. There was always ramyeon in the kitchen for when you or your mother needed a late night snack after working.
“I’ll have to drop the jacket off at the dry cleaners tomorrow.” You groaned tiredly, looking at the blazer that rested over the back of the chair.

Hoseok was one of the first ones to wake up. After a day of working and a night of drinking, the boys all usually slept in during the weekends. The moment his foot touched the bottom of the stairs, a maid ran over to him, bowing her head in fear.
“What is it?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Your workers are here, sir. They said that it is important for you to see them immediately.” She relayed timidly, afraid of making him angry.
“Send them in. And get my breakfast.” Hoseok shooed her away before shuffling to the dining room. Like any other normal person, he didn’t like having to work on the weekends.
“Good morning, Boss.” The 3 men put the crate that they were carrying down and bowed to Hoseok.
“This better be important for you to be here on a Saturday morning.” Hoseok said, not even looking up at them. He was more focused on the tray of food that the butler had placed down in front of him.
“The shipment is here early. We thought you would want to check it right away.” One of the men informed. Hoseok put his napkin on the table and stood up.
“Show me.” He commanded as he walked over. The men opened the box, revealing the contents inside.
“Very nice...” He picked up one of the items.
“Business on a Saturday morning, Hobah?” Yoongi came in. Hoseok’s workers bowed upon seeing the pale man enter the dining room. But of course, he didn’t even spare them a glance. He sat down in his allocated seat, waiting for the staff to serve him his breakfast. His breakfast was usually an iced coffee then his food 20 minutes later.
“Can’t help it, hyung. You want the best, you’ve got to work when others aren’t.” Hoseok laughed while Yoongi snorted at his comment. He placed the items back into the crate.
“Leave this here. I’ll show the others to see what they think. Good work. We’ll discuss the rest on Monday.” Hoseok said.
“Of course, boss. Have a nice weekend.” The 3 bowed, moving the crate to the side of the room before leaving the mansion. Hoseok took his seat across Yoongi.
“So hyung, I heard you had a little moment with the girl.” Hoseok asked.
“What moment?” Yoongi asked back, no emotion on his face as he sipped the last bit of his coffee.
“Jimin said you loyally guarded the door for her as she used our toilet. Even stayed with her in the hallway after to comfort her.” He explained. Yoongi rolled his eyes, his brothers really needed better things to talk about.
“I saw her the moment she entered, I’m surprised you guys didn’t considering how high our booth is. She needed to use a toilet and the queue was insane so I offered her to use ours. And I wasn’t comforting her, she needed a quiet place and I stayed with her. That’s all.” Yoongi explained.
“Well, that’s a lot more interaction than what the rest have got. Looks like she’ll warm up to you first.” Hoseok said.
“No, she’ll warm up to Taehyung first. He was the one that sent her home.” Yoongi dug into his food on the tray that the butler brought him. Hoseok hummed but couldn’t help the giggle that escaped him.
“What’s Hobi laughing about?” Namjoon came in. He had been awake for a while, opting to sit in his room to read the newspaper rather than come downstairs right away.
“No idea.” Yoongi replied, putting a chopstick of rice into his mouth.
“Ah, seriously, Hobi. I thought we established that we are not going to bring work into the dining room?” Namjoon tsked at the crate in the room.
“It’s fine, Namjoon ah. I’ll move it after breakfast. The boys needed me to inspect the goods, that’s all. Even risked bothering me on a Saturday to do it.” Hoseok waved the leader off. Namjoon shook his head with a sigh.
“Bring my breakfast.” He ordered as he took his seat at the head of the table. The butler bowed and left.
“I’m done. Going back to sleep.” Yoongi stood up and shuffled out of the room. The weekend was for Yoongi to catch up on sleep, it was normal to not see him for the entirety of the two days because he was just sleeping or resting in bed. Jin and Taehyung were the last ones that had breakfast. Jungkook and Jimin would sleep in until dinner time.
“Here. Take what is yours and leave the rest. I told you I would get things done.” Jin dropped the stack of files on the table. Namjoon, Hoseok and Taehyung shrugged, going through the pile to retrieve their things.
“So, hyung, did you find out anymore information about (y/n) when you did your stalking?” Taehyung asked.
“Yah, Taehyung! That was supposed to be confidential.” Jin hissed at the younger exposing him to the rest. However, the younger just shrugged.
“You’re running a check on her?” Namjoon raised an eyebrow.
“I’m not running a check on her... Well, at least not the background checks I usually do. I just wanted to find out about her to maybe try to connect with her in some way. She is a closed book.” Jin explained.
“So what if she is a closed book, I’m sure you can still find whatever you need on her.” Hosoek laughed.
“That’s the thing... She does not have much of a record except for her birth certificate and basic school details. Everything else either doesn’t exist or has been wiped.” Jin informed.
“Wait, you’re telling me there is actually information that you can’t find?”
“How do you know information has been wiped? She could have just not had that much of an eventful life so far. I doubt she can wipe her own records and she doesn’t seem to have a reason to do that.” Namjoon said. He didn’t know you but you didn’t seem like a skillful hacker that could wipe records.
“I know information has been wiped because I am the one who wiped them...” Jin admitted with his head slightly hung.
“What?”
“Boss wanted me to wipe them. He was paranoid, especially when it came to her. So my task was to regularly wipe her records that were 'not relevant’. Hospital visits, stuff like that...” Jin gulped.

⇢ ˗ˏˋ closer
Tumblr media
haku shota x gn reader.
angst / comfort.
cw- reader is scared soul is cheating on them, insicurities, mentions of drifing appart, reader and soul saying ‘ily’, established relashionship, both the reader and soul wear cologne bc lets be honest cologne is better anyway, mentions of his real name like once, bpd iyk for the reader.
brought to you by- closer by waterparks and my first real relashionship 😻😹💀
Tumblr media Tumblr media
your relationship with soul was amazing. it was everything you could ever want. but yet, you wanted more.
you both loved eachother so much, no matter what. both of you had your difficulties with expressing your feelings, sure, but you tried to show it in other ways. giving or making eachother a piece of jewellery or clothes, borrowing outfits, trading colognes, helping eachother with work. however, you could only go so long before you started to get scared and insecure.
you’ve both said ‘i love you’ to eachother a few times. you don’t say it a lot anymore.
you felt as if the two of you had drifted.
the beginning of your relashionship was everything and more. non-stop texting and calling no matter what, endless ‘i love yous’, and hell, arguing over who loves the other more. but as always, the honeymoon phase always ends eventually.
whenever you would text him ‘i love you’ or anything along those lines, he just replies with a simple emoji or an ‘ilyt’. he was showing something, but it wasn’t the same. you stopped saying it in person, ‘cause honestly? you were scared.
you felt as if you guys flirted more and were more affectionate when you weren’t even dating. so what happened? so now he finally has you he thinks it doesn’t even matter? did he find someone else? replace you? that didn’t seem like shota at all, but yet again, it doesnt sound like most of the people who had done it to you. you couldn’t bear the embarrassment of him breaking up with you if he was cheating, or lost feelings. should you do it yourself? save the embarrassment and get it over with? but what if he wasn’t cheating on you, didnt lose feelings, then what. you just ruined the best thing you’ve ever had.
you don’t want to break up with him. you can’t. you won’t. but you need more of him. you need him closer. you just need to feel like you have him again.
that’s what led you here.
standing on one side of the dance studio while soul stood in the middle, breathing heavily, a bit sweaty.
you had texted him asking if you could come over to the dance studio, which he had replied to with a ‘yeah’.
you didnt know what you were going to say, but you wanted to say something.
“hi y/n” soul smiled.
“hey” you awkwardly mutter.
souls smile quickly went away while he turned his head slightly to the side. “what’s wrong?”
“i just-” you sigh before continuing. “are you cheating on me?” you ask quietly, voice shaking slightly.
your brain immediately scolded you. ‘holy shit holy shit holy shit. why did you actually just ask him that? what if he is? do you really want to know that? what if he’s not and he gets mad what if-‘
souls eyes widen slighty and eyebrows furrow. “what? no, im not cheating on you y/n”
“do you still love me?” your eyes start to water and he notices.
“oh my god, of course i still love you y/n!” souls hands fly out and he walks closer towards you.
you let out a sob of relief at his words, but you were still doubting. why is everything colder than it used to be?
soul takes your hands in his and pulls you down to sit on the floor with him. “i made you feel like i don’t?” he questions, his own voice small.
“i don’t know i just- no its okay, nevermind, it’s stupid.” you sniff.
“no, nothing is stupid if it makes you feel like this. especially if it has to do with our relationship.”
“i don’t know, why don’t you say you love me anymore? why- why are you so dry with texting? more than you used to be, somehow. i feel like we’ve drifted and i’m losing you or you’re losing me, i don’t know, it could be my fault for all i know. maybe it’s not you who’s being cold, maybe its me-”
soul cut you off. “baby stop. nothing is your fault. i haven’t lost feelings for you. at all. i’m not cheating on you or anything. i feel the same exact way i did when we first started dating. if anything, i love you more.” soul briefly let go of your hands to move behind you and hold you. “i didn’t really say it as much as i used to because i guess i thought you knew that so i didn’t need to say it so much anymore. obviously, i didnt think about that. and as for getting dryer? i didnt even realize i was doing it, i swear i didnt mean to and its not gonna be the only thing i’ll start working on.”
after you didn’t say anything, soul broke the silence by asking you, “why didn’t you say anything to me when you first started feeling like this?”
“i was scared. scared that maybe i was right. but then what?” you answer.
“well if you ever start thinking or feeling anything similar again, tell me. like, right away, don’t wait. okay?”
“okay.”
“i love you so much.”
god, hearing him say that make you so happy.
“i love you too.”
“can we go to your dorms now? i know you were practicing but i really miss you and while we’re in this lovey-dovey mood i wanna take advantage of it.” you know there’s a huge chance he’ll say no, but you ask anyway hopefully.
“for you? of course we can.”

Bad Ideas Part 9
Regulus Black au
Summary:  It started as nothing now it’s something. Voldemort has been defeated but that doesn’t mean the wizarding world is still a good place to be.
Pairings: Regulus Black x Reader
Rating: M
Part 8 Link
______
Arriving at the restaurant, you stood between Regulus and Harry. You had quietly bribed Regulus to be good. As much as you wanted to see Regulus scare the shit out of Vernon, you also wanted to see what your aunt and uncle had to say.
Were they going to apologize for all of the years of mistreatment? Was one of them dying and wanted to make amends or were they simply wanting to brag about their new car? The possibilities were endless. You weren’t sure which option you wanted to go with. Time would have to tell on that one.
“My offer to climb across the table and slap them real good still stands.”
Regulus commented. Harry glanced over to the other man with a raised eyebrow before fighting a smirk. While Harry wanted to dislike Regulus for making a move on you, he really couldn’t. Over the past little bit, Regulus proved himself enough to Harry. He also made you happy so that was enough for your twin. His offer to slap Vernon around also made Harry happy.
“I may take you up on that.”
Harry replied as you shook your head.
“Before we start slapping people around, why don’t we see what they want? I would be surprised if they honestly just wanted to see us.”
Regulus rolled his eyes. He had enough about Vernon and Petunia Dursley to do him a lifetime.
“Sorry love but I highly doubt that’s what it is. If they just want to catch up I would be more shocked than if I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet.”
You only nodded in agreement. Common sense told you that Vernon and Petunia didn’t want to catch up. Harry was, after all, the reason that the Dursleys had to leave their “perfect” little home. Why would they want to see you again?
“There they are.”
Harry’s voice pulled you from your thoughts. You looked up to see your aunt and uncle sitting at a table in the middle of the restaurant. Petunia held her hand up to motion to come over.
“Here we go.”
You murmured before squeezing Regulus’ hand. The expression on his face had gone from mildly annoyed to straight haughty and holier than thou. He didn’t have to say anything for you to know that he already hated Vernon and Petunia. He was also looking for “ANY” reason to let the insults start flying.
Arriving at the table, neither Petunia nor Vernon stood to give you any form of a hug. You didn’t expect this so it really shouldn’t have surprised you. Vernon only nodded while Petunia forced a smile.
“Harry…Y/n…it is so nice to see the both of you. How are you?”
Regulus moved to pull the chair out for you to sit in. You gave him a small thank you before turning your attention back to your aunt.
“We are alive. I hope you both are doing well.”
Petunia nodded again forcing a smile.
“We are doing fine. I received your letter about that madman being killed. I’m guessing all is well in your world?”
Your world….
You knew that was hard for Petunia to say. The fact that it wasn’t accompanied by some kind of insult was a miracle in itself.
“Yes, everything is fine…for the moment. It's just getting everything put back together.”
Harry replied. You were thankful that Harry came in. Your brother always knew when you were ready to say something snarky.
“I’m glad to hear that. We have been worried.”
Again, Petunia sounded like she had been forced to say that. Your aunt was as worried about you as you were worried about her.
Vernon, meanwhile, had been staring at the young man by your side. He hadn’t said a word since sitting down. His cold grey eyes had been flickering between Vernon and Petunia as he looked at them as if they were garbage.
“So, who are you?”
Vernon finally asked. Regulus looked right at Vernon as if he was personally offended to be spoken to by a muggle…or at least a muggle like Vernon.
“Regulus.”
Regulus replied in a cold cool voice. Vernon was even more annoyed. He expected a little more than a first name.
“Pleasure. So, are you funny like them?”
“Funny?”
Regulus questioned, narrowing his eyes on Vernon as if he were a mouse. You had to swallow back a chuckle at how Regulus’ cat-like nature coming out.
“A…wizard…I guess.”
Vernon replied, feeling suddenly uncomfortable under the younger man’s icy gaze.
“I’m not a comedian. I suggest that you watch how you speak to me, Vernon Dursley. Harry and Y/n may be nice to you but I won’t be. I should climb across the table and choke you out for how you lot treated them as children. If you were any kind of aunt or uncle, you would have never treated your niece or nephew so poorly…stupid prejudices or not.”
Vernon swallowed, clearly uncomfortable. He had got his answer on what Regulus’ background was.
“Well…”
“Well, nothing. You’re a shit excuse for a family…the both of you. I personally don’t see why you lot even bothered checking in on them. They had done just find during this whole war without the help of either of you.”
Petunia blinked a few times before beginning to speak.
“You don’t understand it was… we did what we thought was best…given the circumstances.”
Regulus raised an eyebrow at Petunia instantly making her rethink her life choices.
“I understand enough. You treated your sister’s children like shit. That’s enough for me to understand. I can understand you a lot being scared of things that you don’t understand. That, however, gives you no right to be shitty individual to people…especially children. There was no treating them the best in anything that you did.”
Neither Harry nor yourself moved to say anything. You gave Regulus a proud smile. It was nice hearing him say something like this. Those words alone proved just how far Regulus had come as an individual. Had this conversation happened never would have happened. Regulus would have probably berated Petunia and Vernon for being muggles and simply existing.
“You don’t know anything.”
Vernon snapped. Regulus stood up making Vernon cower lower in his chair.
“I know enough. Y/n, Harry let's just get out of here. This is a total waste of both of your time.”
Neither Harry nor yourself argued. You came, you saw, and now you were ready to get the hell out.
It took until the lot of you arrived back at Grimmauld Place for Regulus to calm down. Harry was silently laughing to himself for a few moments before speaking.
“Regulus, why don’t you just pull a gun on them the next time?”
Regulus shook his head and hung his coat up.
“I’ll just punch him in the face.”
Harry nodded.
“I’ll agree to that.”
Harry turned to walk into the dining room leaving the two of you alone. Regulus sighed…then my mother came out.”
Regulus was relieved when you smiled. While he didn’t really expect you to be angry with him for going off; Regulus really didn’t try to hear the Dursleys out. He pretty much saw them and went ballistic.
You stood on your tiptoes to press a kiss to Regulus’ chin.
“I found it rather amusing. My inner child was healed seeing them have their asses handed to them.”
Regulus wrapped his arms around your waist and rested his forehead against yours.
“You always deserved better.”
Regulus said with a soft sigh.
“OH MERLIN…is that Regulus?”
Both Regulus and yourself instantly stood up and turned to the voice. Your mouth dropped seeing what had to be your parents standing in the doorway. Rubbing your hands on your eyes a few times you had to make sure that you weren’t seeing things. James and Lily looked just as they did in the photos that you had.
The better question was why were dead people suddenly turning up like long-lost people coming for a friendly visit? Not that you were entirely complaining. Without this odd-ass situation, you would never have been able to be with Regulus. Now your parents…
Regulus looked clearly as shocked as James.
“Oh Merlin is that James?”
Regulus replied in a snarky tone. James turned to Lily who looked equally as shocked. Never in a million years did they expect to see Regulus alive…and holding you…their daughter.
“What is going on around here?”
James snapped. Sirius who was looking ready to jump out the window groaned.
“Man, don’t make me say it.”
James turned to Sirius. Harry winced, from his place beside his godfather. This wasn’t really how he wanted to drop the “Y/n is dating Regulus” bomb on his poor unsuspecting parents.
“Is he dating my daughter?”
Sirius again groaned. Regulus rolled his eyes before chuckling.
“Wow, there is no getting past you.”
You moved to stand in front of Regulus. The last thing that you wanted was to see fists or hexes start flying.
“Okay…what is going on here? Mum…dad…you’re alive…what is going on around here? Not that I am not thrilled to see you both…but…is everyone killed by lord Snakeface turning back up?”
James and Lily couldn’t say anything for a moment. It was Lily that spoke first.
“Sweetheart, I don’t know how to answer that but we can be a family again….as we should have.”
James nodded before turning his attention back to Regulus.
“What about him?”
“I’m not going anywhere.”
Regulus replied. James glared at Regulus. After coming back from the dead, the last thing that James ever expected was to see his only daughter in a relationship with Regulus Black.
Yet….here I am.
James thought before speaking.
“What makes you think that you are good for her? I know you…at least how you used to be. Leopards don’t change their spots.”
Regulus raised an eyebrow before turning to face you. He gave you a gentle smile. The last thing that Regulus wanted was for you to hear what he was about to say.
“Sweetheart, wait for me upstairs. We can catch up with them later.”
You turned and walked from the room without another word. As much as you wanted to stick around, part of you wanted to get away too. This was too much all at once. Your fight or flight feelings were about to come roaring back and thankfully Regulus recognized it.
It's nice having someone on my side.
Regulus waited until the door to his room closed before turning back to face James and Lily.
“With me, Y/n gets to come first. She had always come second to Harry and for once she gets to come first. That’s what makes me good for her.”

before you took over my mind, my body, my soul. before it belonged to you.
Tumblr media
title: before you took over my mind, my body, my soul. before it belonged to you.
character:  neteyam te suli tsyeyk’itan x metkayina! reader
type: fluff
a/n: this is just a short little fun thing I wanted to do also though it’s apart of a diff story you don’t need to read that one.
translations: irayo- thank you, tute asevin- pretty woman, sayrip-handsome
song: my kind of woman by Mac DeMarco
inspo: my tiktok audio favorites
summary: this is a prequel to it belongs to you but can be read as a one off. Since the arrival of his family, a couple hours ago, Tsireya spent her time showing them around the village. Netetyam becomes distracted and his family leaves him behind, but maybe it was for the better because he met you, or for the worse.
“Hey Tuk! Look!” Neteyam yelled for his youngest sibling. Back home Neteyam loved showing Tuk things he thought she would like, things he knew if he was a kid he would be amazed by. Neteyam stood in awe at the sight, two baby Ilus jumping in and out of the water at great heights, they were playing with each other. “Tuk?” Neteyam turned around searched for her.
She was no where to be found, neither was his mother, or his father, no Kiri, and Lo’ak and Tsireya were lone gone. He stood up and hie eyes darted from metkayina to metkayina. He was lost. His family now probably somewhere deep in the village.
As much as he wanted to ask someone for help it seemed like the people of the clan hadn’t gotten used to him and his family yet. The way they looked at them with disgust, the way Ronal held up Lo’ak’s hand and said they had demon blood, claimed they weren’t real Navi. How Aonung and his friends made fun of their tails. He didn’t like it, in fact, he hated it.
Neteyam felt his feet sink in the sand as he walked around the village seeking for his family. They had surely noticed his absence by now, right? He walked and walked and walked till he finally decided to ask someone for help. Netetyam had to do some rationalizing with himself, I mean the most they could was give him a dirty look and maybe call him something demeaning before going about their way. Even then he still wanted to find someone who looked at the very least approachable.
His eyes searched for someone, preferably a girl, someone who he might have found less intimidating. He saw a girl with seashells decorating her curly hair, he thought they were so pretty, they reminded him of the rocks he collected for his promised one back home. Neteyam was hesitant to tap her on the shoulder, not wanting to interrupt her from her current task, but as he approached closer she saw she wasn’t doing much of anything. She was staring at the sea, much like he was doing earlier.
He stood behind her, watching the water as well. He could see why she had been staring. It was beautiful. The way the waves moved were amazing. “Never fails to captivate me every time I see it. You?” The girl had turned her head to look at Neteyam. She smiled at him, reaching all the way to her eyes.
Oh Eywa, her eyes! They were big and round, so full of life, so curious. Neteyam watched as her eyes observed him. “Newcomer, yes?” She asked as she stood up and dusted sand off her thighs and she looked at him and tilted her head, waiting for Neteyam’s answer. Neteyam guessed word here in Awa’atlu traveled fairly fast.
“Y-yes I’m one of the newcomers and I have lost my family. Have you seen them?” As Neteyam got towards the end of his sentence his voice went low and his ears flatted against his head. This was embarrassing, having to ask a pretty girl for help. Him stuttering made the situation all the worst. Of course, he achieved his mission of finding someone unintimidating, but at what cost.
“No, I’m afraid I haven’t seen your family.” Your voice came out incredibly soft. Eywa, Neteyam should have known. He had embarrassed himself all for nothing. “Well sorry for the interruption. Have a nice day.” Neteyam pushed his lips together and held his hand up briefly while he began to slowly walk backwards.
“But-,” Neteyam stopped in his spot. “I’m happy to help you.” Eywa, Eywa, Eywa, your voice. Neteyam was happy to accept your offer. Neteyam had just met you and he felt so drawn towards you. The way you looked at him, the way you spoke to him, how nice you were to him. It all made him weak.
“Thank you.” Neteyam showed his gratitude. “ I suggest we walk towards the marui pods. It’s most likely someone has shown them to their new home.” Here Neteyam was again for what seemed to be the 100th time admiring your voice. He partially wanted to keep the conversation going or maybe shift into a different one just so he could have you talk to him or send him the occasional glance so he could have you look at him with those big eyes of yours.
“Um-” Neteyam had no idea what to say to you to possibly get you to talk to him more. A compliment was probably the best choice, but he liked everything about you. How could anyone expect him to pick just one thing? “Hm-I like your hair.” He had finally decided.
Your hair was one of the first thing he noticed about you. The way the pretty shells were scattered through out your curly head. How it one seemed strategically placed, yet somehow not at all. Neteyam only glanced at you while he was speaking.
Neteyam expected nothing but a small thank you considering he believed you got the compliment very often. “Me?”  Or maybe you didn’t. You looked at him with full shock painted on your features. Neteyam kept his eyes on his feet.  He was way to nervous to have those eyes look back into his.
Only a small hum left his throat. “Oh-” Your eyes dragged down, looking at the sand. “Irayo. I like your, um, ears.” Neteyam was sure you had just picked anything to say, but you hadn’t. You noticed that his ears was just a bit to far up on his head, how they were just slightly bigger than average, how they seemed somehow overly sensitive to the noise around him. It was cute.
“tute asevin.” Neteyam whispered under his breath. While you were looking at the ground he was looking at you. Neteyam hadn’t meant to it say it out aloud, but he was very glad he did. Your light blue skin becoming a much darker tint in your cheek area and the very tip of your ears.
“You tryna woo me? If it helps you are very sayrip, Neteyam.” You giggled. Neteyam ears became a dark blue tint at the question. In all honesty, he was, but he didn’t believe he was that transparent. Neteyam never got a chance to flirt with girls back home, his parents promised him to someone as soon as he was mating age.
Neteyam had many opportunities to flirt with women back home, it didn’t really matter if he was promised or not. Even with women flocking at him left and right none of them ever interested him. They all came up to him with the same tactic and same irritating voice. They all told him something along the lines of “Manga, Teyam.” with them twirling one of their four fingers in their braids.
Neteyam wouldn’t let it get any farther than that. ‘Teyam’ is a nickname reserved for family only. He wouldn’t anyone else to call him such not even friends and epsicially not some girl he had resisted to roll his eyes at. He hated them. All of them.
“Teyam!” A stern voice interrupted the fit of giggles falling from your mouth. It was Neteyam’s father, Jake, his mother came following not to far behind him. “Looks like this your stop.” You whispered to Neteyam. Though his eyes were fixated on his father, his ears and mind were plagued by you.
Neteyam’s felt his breath get caught in his throat. Was he in trouble? Was his dad mad at him? His mom? No, he couldn’t bring himself to care, not when he was just walked over by angel sent straight by Eywa.
His mother was the first to grab him, pushing you out of the way a little in the process. Since Neteyam was back with his family you took it was your queue leave. You made your way to your marui as Neteyam’s family surrounded him, you heard faint sayings of a ‘sully family meeting’.
As you left Neteyam couldn’t help but look back at you then bringing his attention in front of him then back at you. This time though you were already looking at him, a cute little smile spreading across your face so big that it took up your whole face, and a nice wave as you practically skipped away from him and his family. “Where were you, boy?” His dad’s stern tone of voice made him whip his head around and cut off his day dreaming. His father had a tight grip on his arm and his mother’s worried look had been replaced with one that he found not so pleasant.
His mother, Neytiri, grabbed his other arm and whispered into his ear “You have worried us,Teyam” before dragging him into their new home.

Prompt 23. “You are more than you think of yourself. You’re everything to me.” +  28. “You’re the only person I’ve ever actually wanted to spent the rest of my life with.”
Pairing : Bucky Barnes x (they/them) reader
Type : angst + fluff
Word count : 2k
have a great day/night!! <3
-----------------------------------
“Are you sure you don’t want to come?” Sam asked, looking over in concern. When he had first mentioned it, he had been all up for it and now he didn’t want to go. “I’m sure.” Bucky grumbled, downing the rest of the whisky he had in his glass, internally cursing at the serum in him. Sam sighed, sitting next to him. “You know they’re coming, right?” he mentioned, watching Bucky freeze slightly at the mention. “And.” he bluntly answered, pretending not to care. His response didn’t faze sam.
He had known Bucky for years now, and was well aware of when he was lying - he could read his like a book. However, he decided not to push, simply patting Bucky’s shoulder. “Look, if you change your mind, you know where we are.” Sam started, nodding his head outside, referring to where the party was being held. “This may be your last chance. Don’t make a decision you’re going to regret - not again.” he finished, heading out the door and leaving Bucky with his inner thoughts.
Bucky sighed as he sat on his bed, his head in his hands. He ran a hand through his recently cut hair, looking up at his desk. His eyes set on the picture frame that was face down, hiding the picture. He picked it up, his finger running across their face as he smiled sadly, unaware of the tears rolling down his face until they landed on the glass. He wiped them off, placing it back down on the desk as he groaned in anger. Bucky picked his phone up, typing his password in and going into his contacts. He found himself pressing their contact, his finger hovering above the call button.
Eventually, he turned his phone down, chucking it down on the mattress next to him. “Forget this.” he mumbled, hoping he’d be able to convince himself out of going, not wanting to give in to Sam. But what if what he said was true? What if it really was his last chance to make things right? He had been so stupid to break things off after Steve left him, not wanting to lose anyone else so he cut them off before they did it to him. But by doing what he thought was the right thing, he hurt his best friends. He cut Sam off, completely shutting him out as well as his soulmate - Y/n.
A few days after Steve had gone, he called it quits. Not only that, but he had left her broken, not giving them an explanation, a chance to talk it out and even ignoring their texts and calls. He hurt the one person he had sworn not to - and it killed him inside. The only reason he had reconnected with Sam was due to his therapist and Sam’s nonstop efforts. He was too stubborn to message Y/n first and well; they were too hurt and probably too scared to reach out - and he couldn’t blame them.
He gave in, getting up and looking through his wardrobe, huffing as he found nothing, either too scruffy or his work suit. After a few minutes, he settled for his maroon shirt, a tidy pair of trousers and his jacket he was rarely seen without. He put his shoes on, grabbing his sunglasses and placing them on his head. Bucky walked into the kitchen, looking through the cupboards for something to bring, eventually settling on the Oreo cake he had brought when he came over, forgetting to actually give it to the family. He nervously tapped his finger against the container, his matching ring making noise against it as he took a deep breath before heading towards the door.
-----
“Captain America!” they called smugly, grinning as they saw Sam register who it was. “If it isn’t my favourite soldier!” he gasped, opening his arms as they laughed, hugging him. Y/n was practically family - they had grown up with Sam and Sarah. The Wilsons treated Y/n as if they were their own child and Y/n had always been thankful for them. Y/n was particularly close with Sam, having been in the Avengers and seeing him often - after all, they were the one who introduced him to Steve and Bucky.
Sam frowned as he saw them look around, knowing she was looking for a certain someone without saying it. “How are you feeling?” he asked quietly, hearing the boys near and not wanting them to know what was going on. “I’m a bit better. It just...” they paused, their eyes misting over. Sam pulled her closer kissing the top of their head. “Hey, it’s okay. He’ll realise his mistake, and you’ll sort it out.” he assured, Y/n sighing. “I’m not so sure Sam. Since Steve, you know...” they reminded as he nodded in defeat. “He’ll come around, I’m sure of it. He needs to because I’m getting sick of him.” he teased, nudging them and grinning as he managed to get a laugh out of them. All he could do is hope Bucky would.
Sarah smiled at Sam knowingly as the car pulled up, seeing the figure inside. “I’ll go help with food.” she said, walking over to where it was cooking as he waited for Bucky to get out. The boys came running over instantly as they saw him. “Oh! There he is!” Bucky said, dodging Cas’ punch but pretending AJ hit him. He moved his arm back, pretending he was going to throw the cake at them in slow mo. He pulled both of them into a side hug, ruffling their hair as they groaned in protest. “Come on, let’s go find your mum and uncle.” he told them, the pair following his words. “Oh! You need to meet our aunt/uncle!” AJ gasped, Cas agreeing. He looked at the two in curiosity. “Aunt/uncle Y/n!” AJ finished as if it was the most obvious answer, Bucky chuckling awkwardly. “Is that so?” he stated.
“Where is everyone?” Bucky joked, taking his shades off and greeting Sam and Sarah. The boys ran around before Sam ushered them away for a second. He crossed his arms on his chest, looking at his friend knowingly. “So?” he asked, smirking at the man in front of him. “Shut up, you know why I’m here.” he huffed, punching him in the shoulder as he looked around for them.
“Y/n’s over there.” Sam said, pointing to where people were stood talking. Y/n was with someone Bucky didn’t recognise, laughing as he said something and he twirled them around, dancing to the music and a massive grin on their face. He felt the familiar feeling he had longed for - the butterflies in the stomach, the weak legs, the massive lovestruck grin fighting its way to his face. But also, he felt defeat. They looked so happy, there was no way they hadn’t possibly moved on. Sam saw the look of defeat on his face and squeezed his shoulder comfortingly. “I can hear your brain working, Buck. It’s fine, you’ve got time.” he assured, walking over to the rows of benches and gesturing for him to follow, Bucky’s eyes not leaving Y/n once.
-----
Y/n felt a soft smile find its way to their face as they watched Bucky interact with the children, seeing how many he could lift on his metal arm, proudness filling them as a few years ago, he would have refused to even show people his arm. Everyone came together, sharing stories which were mostly about the trouble Sam and Y/n used to cause when they were younger, AJ and Cas claiming to carry it on. Throughout the evening, Y/n and Bucky found each other looking at the other or even locking eyes, sending a shy smile between them but nothing more. “Go talk to them man.” Sam groaned, face palming as he watched his friend gaze at her while they spoke to people. “I will, just, not now.” he assured, brushing Sam off who knew he was just making excuses. “Do it when everyone’s left, okay? I’ll let you off helping tidying up.” he teased, Bucky sighing and nodding, knowing it was the only way to get him to stop.
“Thank you for coming! It was so nice to see you!” Y/n said, waving goodbye to one of the family and sitting on the edge of the dock, legs dangling in between the pavement and the boat as they watched the waves ripple with the glistening sunset. They took a deep breath, taking a break from the socialising, the small sounds of chatter behind them of the few people left talking amongst themselves. They heard footsteps approach them, before sitting down next to them, a small grin on their face as she smelt familiar scent they had missed. No words were exchanged for a bit, the two sat as they looked into the sunset. “It’s nice to see you stayed friends with Sam.” Y/n commented after a bit, Bucky grimacing at the slightly bitter tone but he couldn’t blame them. “Y/n...” he whispered, looking at them to see them already looking at him, their eyes slightly watered. “Why did you cut me off?” they asked, their voice cracking. Bucky thought about it before responding, wanting to get the words right. He looked away, guilt filling him.
“I... It was two reasons. The first was with Steve leaving, not even considering staying, I felt the need to distance myself from everyone. That way no one could disappoint me again and I wouldn’t have to worry about being abandoned.” he opened up, his leg bouncing up and down due to nerves and feeling himself heat up. “So, you thought abandoning me was better? You stayed in touch with Sam.” they argued, Bucky shaking his head at the words and looking hurt. “No, no, not at all Y/n/n. I didn’t stay in touch with Sam either, my therapist wouldn’t stop lecturing me about not talking to the pair of you. I only started talking to Sam again because of the asshole who decided he could be Captain America.” he explained, grunting as he pictured walkers’ face in his head, not being able to stand the man. Y/n played with their fingers before speaking again, taking it in.
“What...what was the second reason?” they spoke up, their voice only loud enough for him to hear, not wanting to cry. Bucky sighed, looking at his metal arm and hand, Y/n following his line of sight. “You deserved better. Not me. Not someone who was a monster and I’m past my time.” he admitted, Y/n frowning at the words. “Buck...” they mumbled, grabbing his metal hand that was closest to them. They intertwined their hand with his, looking at him. “Look at me.” they instructed; Bucky’s eyes fixed on the waves in front of them. “Bucky, please.” they asked, him gritting his teeth as he looked at them, their face softening as they saw the tears that had rolled down. Y/n moved their hand up, wiping the tears from his cheeks. “Well, for one, you are more than you think of yourself. You’re everything to me.” they confessed, a hand caressing his cheek as they spoke, Bucky looking at the ground and resting his own hand on their wrist softly. “You’re not mine, doll. You should be with someone your age and time, not me who’s one hundred and six years old and in a well extended life.” he tried to joke, getting a laugh from Y/n who shook their head at his antics.
“Have you ever considered I want the one hundred-and-six year old man in front of me? I mean, lucky for you I like older men-” they teased, pausing as they heard his laugh that made them weak in their knees. “But seriously, Buck, You’re the only person I’ve ever actually wanted to spent the rest of my life with.” they comforted, the man looking back at them with wide eyes. “Really?” he questioned, Y/n smiling at his reaction. “Yes. I don’t want anyone else.” they reminded, leaning forward. “Forgive me?” he whispered, their foreheads resting against each other’s. “I forgave you ages ago.” they grinned, leaning forward and connecting their lips for a much-needed kiss, showing the passion and the love between the soulmates - and they had many more to make up for lost time, waiting for them.
“I love you, doll.”

Tumblr media
You shut the door as you watched Natasha leave. Your heartbroken heart, broke a little more as you heard her tiny sniffles. “You know you didn’t have to do that right?” You asked Frost, watching as she snuggled back into her boyfriend’s arms.
Frost hadn’t been exactly lying when she told Natasha about how the two of you met. You had met her seven months ago and you had instantly clicked but she was lying when she told Natasha that her ex left her when he found out she was pregnant.
“I know. But she was bugging you and wouldn’t leave so being the best friend that I am. I stepped in. Man, did you see her face? She was heartbroken!”
“I should probably go check on her.” You said, reaching for your keys.
“What?! No, why! I just got rid of her for you.”
“I didn’t want you to get rid of her!” you held the letter Natasha gave to you tightly in your hands.
“Listen, you have spent the last 9 months heartbroken. And then you decided to write her a letter, okay I respected that. You needed closure. But what I don't agree with is the fact that you’re going to go and comfort her! She is your ex-girlfriend!”
“AND I STILL LOVE HER!!” You screamed, shutting Frost up. “Look, I know you think that you know what’s best for me, but sometimes I need to fight my own battles.”
“I know, but I watched your heart break over and over again for the past 9 months. I’m just trying to protect you. You’re my best friend. And I love you.”
“I love you too, but this is something I have to do myself. I’ll see you and Mark in a bit.” You said, before you walked out. You shut the door and raced down the stairs, two at a time, nearly falling multiple times. You walked outside and saw Natasha still sitting in her car, sobbing into her hands. You walked over to her slowly, contemplating on whether this was a good idea. But before you could change your mind. You were knocking on her car window.

have a great day/night!! <3
——————————–
“Why would you do something like this?!” Natasha shouted, her hands on her head as she stared at the males in front of her in disbelief, hoping Y/n wouldn’t come in. “Nat, I didn’t mean to-” Bucky started as she laughed, shaking her head at his words. “You didn’t mean to what? Lead her on? How would you feel if you were just a bet!” she argued back, disgusted at his actions. She hadn’t quite figured out what had been going on, but with Bucky suddenly going on more missions since he had started dating Y/n, ones he usually would be told to sit out for her suspicions rose - and for a good reason too. “Steve said I could go on better missions if it worked!” he explained, a frown on his face as he ran his hand through his hair, knowing she was right.
“You...” Nat started, pointing at the other super soldier that sat in the room, staring at the sheets on the table. “You should know better Steve. They trusted you and you abused their trust. What sort of leader are you?” she questioned, confused and hurt by him, knowing it would break Y/n when they found out. “Bucky just wanted more missions and I bet that he couldn’t get with them! They hated each other!” he defended, Nat looking at him as she sat down, taking a deep breath. To be fair, Bucky and Y/n did hate each other. For some reason, he had never warmed to them when they first joined, but they slowly started to get closer before they started dating. Y/n had never hated him - they didn’t have a single bad bone in their body.
“Bucky, I know you wanted more missions, but you didn’t need to use them like that!” she responded, breaking the silence that had settled over. He went to answer as the door opened, Nat’s gut dropping as she saw who had walked in, the two soldiers going pale and looking anywhere but at them. “Who used who?” they asked, looking between the three. Their eyebrows furrowed in confusion as they saw all their eyes darting around, looking anywhere else in the room. “What’s going on?!” they asked, walking closer to the table next to Natasha. “I’m sorry, Y/n/n...” Steve muttered, making them even more confused. “Sorry? For what? Was it you who ate my food?” they asked, chuckling but stopping when he didn’t even smile at them. “Bucky? Want to tell them?” Natasha asked, looking at him as he just looked back, his mouth not opening. “Tell...tell me what?” they breathed out, their breath and body shaky trying to prepare themself for what they were about to be told.
“Bucky’s been using you.”
