1: Which feminist book do you recommend?

I would recommend A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. The book is very culturally enriched and also one of the most powerful tale of feminism. As a person who belongs to the Souuth Asian region the book is very relatable and conveys a meaning that one search for.

2: Do you have a favorite book series?

As a kid I like Nance Drew series now my taste has evolved and I like Mary Higgins Clark books, Patricia Cornwell's Dr K scarpetta Series and Dan Brown's Langdon Series. Although the genre is still mystery not just for kids!

Unfortunately, they got seperated but years after their bond rejuvenated and love blossomed. But their past becomes stone in their journey and what happens next was unpredictable. A pithfall in life and Ayaan founds a constructive way to get back to his own self. When I started reading, I was little bit bore not because of content but because the author has covered everything very minuetly and the spiritual content to which I can't connect well. Also, the lustful scences made me feel uncomfortable. The book touches every corner of youth life. The partition of Ayaan from his family and his initial days of struggle at hostel was well covered.Many people may feel connected while others may feel lost. The book is gem to open minders, explorers and romance lovers. For me, the book was selectively readable. Marie Lu, you are an absolute genius, and you have left me utterly wrecked. I am very grateful that I live in a rural area, because the last 10 pages, I was screaming! When I first started this book I devoured the first 240 pages in a day. Unfortunately, homework takes priority and I had to put this book down. I literally sat here and thought about this book for days while I got caught up on my assignments. 😂 Emika is a hardcore badass. The plot was so intricate. I predicted a twist but there were a few and they all left me reeling. There was so much detail and creativity in the story. This book was beautifully written! I can gush for hours but I won’t. Just read this book!

A great read on how to do linear algebra without using determinant theory (e.g. at all, really). It's a little irreverent by design, but it's a fun read to note that you really don't have to use determinants for almost anything.

This is roughly the idea behind how we teach our courses on linear systems at Stanford, where the only time we mention determinants is as the product of all eigenvalues of matrices; which (personally) is often far more intuitive and useful.

Determinant theory pops up in an intuitive form in the study of anti-symmetric linear forms (for example, wedge products), where it arises naturally as a scaling factor and as the 'volume' of the form; but, without that motivation, determinant theory in pure matrices is nothing but magic, personally.
