2 people touch the amulet at the same time.

Bright's conscious gets transferred to one of the people. However, the other person is also affected. Whatever gem 963 is made of begins to slowly spread on the other person. This gives the person the abilities of 963, but not the conscious of bright. They are 2 separate people. Bright still exists

yeah i had this idea a while ago. I have a few moots who are uncomfortable with bright rewrites, so absolutely block this oc tag if you don't want to see it! Absolutely no hard feelings :3

i'll never forget my dad claiming 'he came to set the captives free" by Dr. Rebecca Brown was proof of vampires and werewolfs....

Oh yeah, a bunch of these people were out claiming that werewolves and vampires were Totally Real and you could absolutely become one Through The Power of Satan.

Sometimes I find it a little astonishing how people actually believe this, but the sorts of people these things are marketed toward will believe anything so long as it strokes their vanity (IE, assures them that they are the spiritually and morally superior ones and will get the last laugh in the end).

These aren't complete and I'm not the most proud of the style, but I'm taking up a new project in which I paint the inside covers of some of my favorite books. First up is Paula Morris' duology Ruined and Unbroken. No back cover for Unbroken just yet, as I haven't chosen a scene.

Chiyo (2024)

This unique kitty is Chiyo (@chiyopurrs )! She is a brown tabby and white cat with a very unique piebald marking pattern. I found her account a few months ago and fell in love with her unique style. Then I had the honor of creating her portrait in my signature vibrant colorful style! Her portrait was painted with acrylics on an 8x10 inch stretched canvas.

to the people who follow me for my book content, these are some authors that i no longer support:

pierce brown: one of the earliest authors to share the "i stand with israel" posts. (I guess rebellions are only cool for plot points. I loved red rising but ive always found it to be a whitewashed version of the hunger games, and b4 u go "but hunger games characters r white too!!" No theyre not. Katniss was supposed to have darker skin. The movie franchise whitewashed her.)

sarah j maas: has made it clear that her grandmother was in the IDF and is proud of her israeli heritage. I liked her when i was like 14. I grew to realise just how much queerbaiting and subtle racism there is in her books.

victoria aveyard: i loved her for a very long time, red queen was the series that pulled me back into reading and she have been one of my biggest inspiration in being a writer, but she had made a statement of standing in neutrality, and she have made a tiktok of her Starbucks order while everyone is trying to boycott starbucks for their donation to israel. I hope her words and actions are only of ignorance and that she'll learn to do better soon. but until then, I've completely lost my respect for her.

Junior (2024)

A colorful pet portrait of a brown tabby cat named Junior in bright rainbow colors. In the original reference photo, he was laying on a white sheepskin blanket. I changed it up a bit and decided to make it look like he was sleeping on multicolored clouds! Acrylics on 12" x 16" stretched canvas.
