I completely understand anon. I think the best bet here would be band patches, especially if your parents know a lot of punk symbols. Heres what I got, but of course other suggestions are welcome! (A variety of really subtle to only kinda subtle)

Band patches - especially bands with beliefs and songs that align with your beliefs

If you are straight edge - literally any of the straight edge symbols (XXX / SXE / X)

Variations of ACAB - 1312 / 13-12 / use Acronyms (a common substitution is All Cats Are Beautiful)

Safety Pins

For queer folks out there - patches with queer colors

Write out stuff in a font like windings if you want to - no ones gonna take the time to translate it, but it would be a conversation piece for sure

QR code that leads to your choice of song or website - preferably punk related

I know the critical community has its fair share of bad faith losers, but can hb stans(stans, not fans, fans are behaving fine)please stop obsessing over good faith critics, and calling them haters and stuff? Especially when they assume critical people on TUMBLR of all places to be homophobic? Look, some toxic stans are calling this ״just like steven universe criticals” well do you know what the majority of steven universe criticals on this site were critical of in ateven universe. (NOT lily orchard she was bad faith iirc) they were saying blind idolization of anything you like is really gross, and also that the amathest garnet fusion was a racist carciture. And most of them who said it was a carciture were black.

Anyways, how can hb stans say that tje critical community was toxic, compared to them, wjen a viv stan in a tweet has actually used actual eugenics terms to describe people who are critical of or just dont like helluva boss too much.
