"I finally understand the harvey hype"
oh, I'm sorry! you mean stardew valley harvey? the "he's such a boring romance" harvey? the harvey whose romance took me LITERAL hours to get so I could marry the lovable guy, that harvey?
he's cool now? HE'S BEEN COOL.

I don't think many would realize just how truly terrifying it is for sukuna to allow someone such as ray be so close with him, like THE ryomen sukuna allowing that and fascinates many.

quick update on ray as character: yes, she's demisexual however, it's mostly geared towards men hence her connection to andrei HOWEVER, she's also confirmed to be pansexual as well.
that is all.

I am one who never is able to reread books, no matter how much I love them and think about them and how strong their grip is on my very heart and soul.
Like, I don't know if it's just the "there are so many other, new books I want to read" or if it's the "I already know what happens so the adrenaline isn't as high" or what it is, but...
I just cannot reread a book. I've tried (and I think the closest I got was a couple books of the HP series way back when...)
BUT-- I'm saying all that preface to say this--
I really, really, really wanna reread Fourth Wing & Iron Flame.
Because when I say I cannot think of anything else-- I mean it. They have overtaken every single thought (and it doesn't help that I've been listening to fantasy fangirls podcast to get all the deep dives lately, no, that doesn't help at all).
I have dozens of other books I want to read. An ever-growing and never-ending TBR pile. It's crazy...
And yet...
I want Xaden. I want Violet. I want Sgaeyl and Tairn and Andarna. I want Liam. I want Rhiannon. I want Ridoc and Sawyer. I want to go back over and over to Basgiath.
Dammit!
I'm probably gonna end up rereading these, aren't I?

I think my issue sometimes, in of myself, is that I ask Too Many Questions.
Not that asking Too Many Questions is bad, it's more so I have a high possibility of having ADHD and I have dyslexia, so my brain runs on a 'find new thing, learn EVERYTHING about said new thing as quickly as possible before we forget'.
Which, of course, for Witchcraft is fantastic, because I'm constantly learning and growing, and my thirst for hoarding knowledge brings me into contact with new people, and I learn even more, but I do have a tendency to struggle to slow down.
It's the start of Mabon today as I write this, and Tyr entered my space today. Naturally, I was really excited, I find him, Freya and Freyr, Fenrir and Jormungandr really really cool, and want to learn more about Norse Mythos, so asked if he would be sticking around or if he wanted to work with me in the future in the Norse Aspect, and fully got told to 'calm down and slow down' by like three different deities (at this point Rhiannon and Manawydan have realised I don't mean bad, I just get very excited to learn, and Hekate I think clocked it immediately since she made me research her in-depth so I slowed down a bit before working with me at all lol).
So I think it may just be the neurodivergance in me, but I do worry sometimes that I come across as a pest, when legit I walk into a practice, whether it be art or music or witchcraft, and my first thought is 'How does this work, and Why, and What is the history behind it?'

look i don't set out to write autistic characters on purpose. i do not intentionally infect the characters i fanfic about with autism like the werewolf i am definitely not. it just HAPPENS. I do not know enough about a neurotypical perspective to write one. if i write from their perspective at any point they tend to get the autism rizz it kinda just Works Like That. sorry. like it's not even self inserting it's that, this is how i see and experience and interact with the world i don't have clue how else to do it.

okay, one last thing about all this fantastic 4 news. I know I said I was "eh" about the whole thing, that I don't really know how to feel about all of it BUT, i never said I hated it either. with that said, the hate for this casting already, specifically towards pedro pascal and joesph quinn is INSANEEEEE.
like....they haven't even started filming yet, haven't even gotten a chance to make it to our screens and some of y'all are already throwing a hissy fit over it. just wait and see, just wait until the movie comes out to really gather your opinions because some of y'all really need to calm down.

okay! so I'm going to try and make this short but if you saw this post, then you'll know that I'm working on a side AU for 'dead girl walking' that's based entirely on the game 'the wolf among us ' as well as a bit of the 'fables' comics.
I've decided to call the AU itself, 'morden fables' as 'morden' is the town name in the original story of 'dead girl walking.'
the premise is this: andrei duncans is a detective within the town of morden, a town whose citizens are based primarily around fairytales and folklore. andrei is not only a detective but, known for being the "big bad wolf" of the area, something that he struggles with considering the way people view him because of that title. he's stubborn, can get frustrated easily but he doesn't want to hurt anyone due to who he is.
one day, andrei assigns himself the case of ray ellison, the soon-to-be "undead woman" whose fairytale resides entirely with her, she wasn't based around any other fairytale particularly. however, the thing about her is that she wakes up, alive and well to andrei's utter surprise but he doesn't dismiss ray's case completely just because she's suddenly alive now, albeit with undead features to her. no, he still plans on figuring out who killed her and why, he and ray also encounter a love blossoming between them during it all.
so, yeah! that's basically the premise of this whole AU. here's the main roles for each character:
detective andrei duncans - big bad wolf.
ray ellison - the undead woman.
kiran hari - beast with a heart of gold.
rosaline mcdevilin - the huntsman's daughter.
I'm sure I'll have more characters in mind for future OCs of this AU but these are just the main four.
