Headcanon that's a mix between the Canon Steve Sags and RRFF,

Guardian's boss, God Steve, is also his father

God Steve just randomly found smol baby Guardian and was like 'this child's cute. It's now mine' and then raised Guardian, the relaxed goth boi with a smort steampunk partner :3

The elderich angel is a happy dad that isn't to be messed with when it comes to his son he loves very much no matter what. You hurt his son, ya done for.

(And I also headcanon that God Steve is t o l. Around 8'7, but uses their powers to be around 6'8)

This is my favorite headcanon and has ironically been a thing since before God Steve was introduced in TSS since I used to watch 09SharkBoy LOL

Illusion - between carolesdaughter and Mitski(developed after spending time w memory (= - think between My Mother Wants Me Dead and Washing Machine Heart) -- a little Feel Better by Penelope Scott and MONEY MAKES YOU STUPID by Black Dresses cause he's a little unhinged and his voice has to be too <3

Guardian(despite the fact that he already has a canon voice hush) - between Noah Kahan and Jack Staubers Mircopop - think between Northern Attitude and Cupid

Alex(again shhh)Alex(again shhh) - I'm So Sick by Flyleaf to The Moon Will Sing by The Crane Wives

Time - between Saint Bernard by Lincoln and Pearl Diver by Mitski(Honestly I couldn't rlly find much in the songs ik, but just think REALY fucking British, I'm pretty sure over 50% of the fandom agrees he just randomly has a British accent. None of his fam is British, just him-)

This question is a little weird, but it's plagued my mind for some reason: what would the current rrff crew do if someone randomly bit them?

Wow, this ask has been sitting in my inbox for a very long time, and I'm so sorry for taking this long to finally get to it, anon. I thought it over and, well, here are your answers!

Time: he would use future vision to know when to dodge. Bite evaded, lol.

Memory: when he gets bitten, he’d just look at that person for a long second, refusing to blink because he has no idea what to do in this situation, before finally saying, “...can I help you?”

Illusion: he would immediately scream and try to get away as soon as possible.

Elemental: he would be annoyed because saliva. He doesn’t like that Time successfully evaded while he didn’t. He’d try to get away from the person to cope with his wounded pride. But later, curiosity gets the better of him and he returns to that person to ask, "is this some language that’s only expressed through biting?"

Galaxy: he would scream, "NO. DON’T EAT ME. TRUST ME, I TASTE HORRIBLE." Bonus: assuming Illusion is still programmed to always help Galaxy, Illusion also screams, "YES, HE’S RIGHT. I know your world is obsessed with the galaxy aesthetic, to the point that you guys make galaxy cakes, but you were probably lied to about how tasty the galaxy is!"

Sabre: "No! How many times do I have to go over this?! Just because I dress like a chicken doesn’t mean that I taste like chicken!" (shoutout to Purple Steve)

Void: he would throw a fit, and then destroy that person.

Alex: honestly, being the powerful goddess she is, she wouldn't even feel the bite. She knows that someone is near, but she’s assuming that they just wanted to hug her, and she decided, "maybe this person just really needs the hug. I’ll let them have it." And when other people start freaking out, she looks to her side and goes like, "omg, they’re biting me?! What does that mean?!"

Guardian: he’d get so worried. "Are my wings broken? Did I get an infection? Will it spread to the Steves when I go back to the Spirit World?" So he’d try to leave as soon as possible to assess the damage, and then walk around and ask, "has anyone else been bitten and need medical attention?"

Red Leader: "...can you do that again, but on that guy this time?" [points at Illusion] "And more furiously?"

Green Steve: he would NOPE on out of there.

Overseer: he would make a sheep-like cry. He may have a flashback to the times he was a sheep and had to worry about so wolves wanting to eat him.

The Colors: no one can bite them. But they see the others getting bitten and find the whole situation delightful. Origin Beast appreciates the hypothetical random biter.

Narrator: he would never allow someone to bit him. He would just conveniently have a chew toy to give to the person to divert to bite away from him.

I'm tempted to make a Rainbow Quest Royalty And Every-Steve-Gets-A-Different-Name AU where Rainbow Steve is a king and he's also named Roy.

All this for the sake of a punny and meaningful name.

Remorseful Recollections of the Forgotten Family - Chapter 40: Planting the Seed of Change

The flower glitched into a white variant with six different colored anthers inside.

Memory snatched the flower – back to blue again – and inspected it curiously before it suddenly fizzled out of existence, startling him. Flowers only disappear when a person remembers their lost memories...

Time and Alex stood back up. Alex sighed in relief and gave Memory an apologetic look. "Something tells me that we should head back to the Illusion Town."

I just want to share this au of mine the slumbering memories au or the sm!au. basically mems has a younger brother: sleepy (sleep Steve) who got incredibly injured at one point that mems had no choice but to absorb him so he could heal slowly in mems mind. He sees everything that mems go through and at the end of act 2 he switches. Finally fully healed after a millennia he’s determined to protect his older brother. So what if that means lying to this random salty stranger that has family energy. Memory is on his season 4 of depression and is just depressed in the mindscape not trying to escape as sleepy is just on purpose being a nuisance to everyone (mostly guardian because the whole thing with the great librarian was actually void but void told him to send a vision of his brother doing it).

so yeah that’s the slumbering memories au of rrff! Hope you like it!

Someone who has protected their injured sibling for so many years becoming the protected, even though the method of protection isn’t the best option (no one likes being stuck in someone else’s head). It’s just…ASDFJKL

Illusion and Time knows that it’s like to be stuck in someone's head. I hope they (and Sleepy) are able to visit Memory in the mindscape to give him support during his depression.

Also, I love how you retconned the incident with the Great Librarian and gave everyone a new reason to hate Void. That is amazing.

Are there any "American" sounding RRFF characters? Besides Sabre.

If you're talking about the literal types of accents that can be found in the US: pretty much every character except Memory, Elemental, Guardian, and Lucas. (I don't really have voice headcanons, but I do know enough to know that Memory doesn't sound American.)

I do want to mention that lately, I’ve been imagining Red Leader with a Chicago accent.

Stress: Omg, this is a pleasant surprise to find in my inbox! I absolutely love this. Elemental rising from the grave while surrounded by pog expressions was the highlight of my day. Guardian is looking like a weeping angel right there. Alex looks like she’s doing a cover of “Can we pretend that airplanes” and Sabre is jamming to the music. The vibes of Galaxy, Void, and Time are perfect. And short Illusion with a knife. Short Illusion with a knife. Who gave him the knife? Memory definitely taught him how to use the knife to keep him safe, but he didn’t give him that knife, and he’s still having doubts about it, lmao. I love these boys so much.

He panted and held his injured left shoulder, but the burn wasn't enough to distract him from the three sets of eyes on him. He dipped his head down and whimpered, as if being watched undid the golden apple's effects like the illusion, highlighting his bruises, burns, and fractures.

He saw Reality on his left, words spewing frantically out of his mouth. The scattered, intensified thoughts blurred his words.

On the right was Guardian, who listened to Reality with uncertainty before nodding.

Memory barely heard what came next.

Then unconsciousness welcomed him again.

No wonder Illusion Steve wanted to take over the Spirit World. The Spirit World is basically an illusion that doesn’t need manual maintenance! It would have been perfect for his plan.

Blue Steve doesn’t feel at peace. I wonder what’s the biggest source of his distress. The fact that he doesn’t have Rainbow by his side, or the fact that he feels like he hasn’t done enough to help Rainbow?

Honestly, Blue Steve is a mood when you struggle to separate your work from your self-worth, rip.

I wonder why the Guardian doesn’t mention that Blue Steve can hang out with his other deceased friends (like the Elders he looks up to) in the Spirit World. If the reason is because Blue Steve never had friends and Rainbow is his only friend, I am going to be sad.

Lol, imagine if Guardian went like, “look, you have friends here *introduces Professor Red*” Blue Steve would go like, “this isn’t heaven. this is hell if you’re suggesting I hang out with him.”

Guardian: I sense a great power in you, Blue Steve. I think you might be even stronger than the Elders.

Alright...I’m going to go on a tangent here because I have a theory. A theory that will never become proven, but this theory can be used for an interesting AU. Here me out.

First of all, when does the Blue Steve Saga take place in the timeline?

Based on the evidence so far, I’m assuming that the series takes place right after Blue Steve passes on and gets absorbed by Rainbow in SSO.

But here’s my little theory: what if the series doesn’t actually take place between SSO and Sabre’s Steve Saga?

I was remembering how Rainbow Steve lost all his powers sometime before the Elemental arc, which means he also lost the energy/power that Blue Steve gave him.

Blue Steve lived on through Rainbow Steve as a source of power. So what if when Rainbow Steve lost his powers, that was when Blue Steve finally arrived in the Spirit World, released from Rainbow Steve? If that’s the case, then Blue Steve Saga actually takes place simultaneously during the Elemental and Time Steve arc, not before Sabre’s Steve Saga!

This means that Blue Steve arrived in the Spirit World several generations after his demise. Remember what Hypno said to Rainbow in SSO? Rainbow had to sleep to gain the full potential of his powers, especially his control over the water element. What if that multi-generational hibernation also allowed Blue Steve to reharness his power inside Rainbow? Since Blue Steve didn’t fully pass on yet, his power was able to grow for several generations. That would explain why Guardian sensed he was stronger than an Elder.

Blue Steve Saga taking place during the Elemental arc might explain the Demon Steves. Space and time were having issues during the Elemental arc, so maybe the Demon Steves arriving in the Spirit World is just one example of the space problems.

And remember that Light Steve was somehow in the Blue Steve Saga? Well, if Blue Steve Saga takes place during the Elemental arc, then now there is a reason for Light Steve to be in the Spirit World: he was killed during the Rainbow Town arc. I’ll admit that I don’t really understand how Light Steve works, so I don’t believe “him already being dead in the timeline” is a great explanation for his appearance in the Blue Steve Saga. But I guess with the space and time problems happening in the Elemental arc, that would handwave why Light Steve is in the Spirit World?

I like to imagine Malgam was sort of the result of Galaxy and Void making the colors angy cause they fought and destroyed so much stuff, so they decided to troll them both by giving Void his son but making them nothing like him or the rest of the family and also he can never see them, and also giving Galaxy another little monster knowing he's either going to have to man up and try to be there for them, or live in shame knowing he's abandoned another, they forgot about memory lol.

Malgam is the name she chose for themself because they wanted to be ✨ different ✨

They have no sense of self preservation so he does stuff like grab a hot pan, try to pick up random wild animals, eat things off random surfaces, and lick random objects ( and people).

Wow wow, woooow! I’m really excited and happy that you made a whole bio and character for Memory’s little sibling!!

I love how chaotic their personality is. There are so many fun scenarios that might happen between her and the family because of that! Whether that be the family chilling when Malgam arrives to say the wildest thing ever. Or maybe the family is going through the hallway and see Malgam there, waiting.

I love how they go by any pronouns. I like to imagine that when he first talked about their pronouns to Memory, Memory was curious and asked for an explanation. And when she explained it, Memory gets really interested in they/them pronouns and wants to try them too!

I like how you took the dark structure idea in RRFF and added body horror into it! I imagine Malgam would create the most monstrous being ever with that power and just say, “it’s for art.” It’s a really cool power idea!
