like out of what ive been working on recently, Lupercalia is the only thing that has a genuine romantic relationship like Vince and Rudy have a very like. nice healthy relationship where theyre good friends who fall gradually in love and go on to have a committed relationship. and then to a lesser extent you have Gwenllian and Auto whos relationship isnt as in focus/doesnt really happen until later in the same novel. 

but then everything else ive been working on recently. A Book for Good Children is about abuse. Eden’s story has no romantic relationships apart from Bird and Sergeant (basically the two villains, one a protagonist & one an antagonist) being exes who hate each other. the novella is about two people who think theyre in love, but Gore and Alexey’s relationship is essentially imaginary and theyre just obsessive and lonely. 

like nothing.... has a big romance focus other than this one thing and thats so weird to me.... i dont understand why i dont really write more about romance at all. youd think id have more than a couple of stories where the leads. are couples.
