Random Doctor Who Facts You Might Not Know, Part 54
The last two bullets contains details from the most recent Ninth Doctor boxset, specifically Swipe Right and Archipelago. Please scroll past them if you don't want to see them. :)
By some accounts, Bruce Springsteen served as United States President in the early 2000s. (Novel: Interference - Book One)
An incredibly dangerous mutation in the Daleks that threatened the whole universe started when a Dalek was stung by a wasp. (Audio: The Mutant Phase)
While in Paris, the Seventh Doctor observed the Fourth Doctor, Romana, and Duggan, and he picked up a picture of Romana when his Fourth dropped it. This picture would later be found by Anji Kapoor and later his Eighth. The Eighth Doctor could not remember who it was because he had been having memory problems at the time but kept the picture anyway. (Short story: Notre Dame du Temps)
The Fifth Doctor accidentally killed the entire Scintillan race because he couldn't see them. (Audio: Omega)
The Toymaker trapped the Spice Girls in "Spice Up Your Life." (Novel: The Giggle)
The Tenth Doctor’s sonic screwdriver ended up in San Juan after being discarded in Leadworth. Charlie Sato had stolen it from some aliens and was on the run, and while doing so, he ran into the Eighth Doctor. Thus, the Tenth Doctor’s sonic screwdriver eventually ended up in a drawer in the Eighth Doctor’s TARDIS. (Audio: The Turn of the Screw)
The Shalka Doctor had fallen in love with the President's daughter, but she had been killed by an alien race with nearly all the other Time Lords. While the other Time Lords had their memories stored in the Matrix, the President's daughter was truly dead. (TV: Scream of the Shalka; Short story: Doctor Who - The Ninth Doctor)
The Tenth Doctor can recall hunting werewolves with Jane Austen. He remembers that she was unusually sadistic, kept trophies from her victims, and was able to wrestle a werewolf without staining her lace. They also dealt with a vampire countess and an assassin in a similar style. The Doctor would have invited her on board the TARDIS if she didn't terrify him. (Audio: Expiry Dating)
Before Erimem became a proper companion, the Fifth Doctor intended to drop her off at the Braxiatel Collection. (Audio: The Church and the Crown)
After the events of The Giggle, the Toymaker is biding his time and waiting for his next game. (Novel: The Giggle)
By some accounts, the Valeyard "splintered" from the Doctor at some point prior to his final regeneration and thus cannot regenerate himself. (Audio: Every Dark Thought)
The Fifteenth Doctor once tried to take Ruby to a night of partying at the Scandi Superclub, where Avicii, Loreen, and Måns Zelmerlöw are members, but the TARDIS instead materialized in the 19th century. They ran into Hans Christian Andersen. (Comic: The Hans of Fear)
Stew Ferguson was a milkman who witnessed Rose Tyler's appearance in The Stolen Earth. He eventually became a cleaner and then witnessed the Fourteenth Doctor materialize in his TARDIS. (Novel: The Star Beast)
The Ninth Doctor is aromantic and aspec!!! (Audio: Swipe Right)
River Song recognized the Doctor’s Gladstone bag as a gift from Gillian and John. (Audio: Archipelago) And by that she means Gillian and John Who!!!!!

my dream is to create an oc people will simp for 😔
Take courses of Tumblr Sexymanning:
Make the OC not human. Make it a powerful deity, being, supernatural. (Ex. Sans, skeleton; Bill Cipher, dream demon triangle; Alastor, half-deer demon; Jax, a bunny.)
Make the OC evil/morally inept. Usually being forwardly evil or bad is the best. (Ex. Oncler, cutting down trees; Bill Cipher, trying to destroy the universe; Alastor, murderer cannibal; Jax, an asshole; Slenderman, kidnaps people, William Afton, murder.)
Make the OC funny and likable. (Ex. Bill Cipher, outrageous humor; Jax, does pranks; Alastor, does things for amusement; Sans, does puns.)
Make the OC outrageous. Make them be crazy, have outlandish opinions, and say/do things that are usually not socially acceptable. (Ex. Bill Cipher, insane; Alastor, murderous; Jax, an asshole.)
Make the OC fancy and/or formal. Clothes including suits is most suitable! (Ex. King Dice, suit; Alastor, suit; Bill Cipher, tophat and bowtie; Milkman, milkman outfit.)
Make the OC powerful. Make them have powers of a deity, supernatural powers, or something abnormally good. (Ex. Bill Cipher, can do anything at the snap of his fingers; Alastor, powerful overlord able to take down others with ease; Megamind, extremely smart.)
The character should be both good in personality and design!
Looking at random characters of the sexypedia.fandom.com can help with these. Almost all character have one or more of these traits.
@author-of-the-year prompt: existentialism and peacock feather.
Welcome the new [tumblr] Sexyman! Ermes Denver! (You can freely take her design!)

I know this blog is mostly Sans centered but like, have you ever heard of Francis Mosses (The Milkman) from That's Not My Neighbor?
What do you think of him? :3
Oooooh, never heard of him or the game! I can’t find much info on him online though :/ I see art of him though, he has that dead-inside look in his eyes that is Somehow attractive… but I got no idea what his deal is.
I’m interested though, if you’ve got some info on him, like… what does he do, why is he special in game? and whats his Vibes
He has “secret murderer with a soft side” vibes based off that one image of him with blood stains (which I assume based off the game’s premise isn’t the actual guy? but yknow,)

On trépigne.

Just the two of us song year
Tumblr media
"Harlem," the stomping opener, was released as the first single, but radio DJs favored the mournful ballad on the B-side, "Ain't No Sunshine." Sussex responded with a pressing that switched designations, and the new A-side scaled to number three on the Hot 100 (and number six on the R&B chart). The album entered the Billboard's Top LP's chart in June 1971. Jones and most of the producer, keyboardist, and bandleader's partners in the M.G.'s, along with Stephen Stills (guitar), Jim Keltner (drums), and Chris Ethridge (bass), Withers cut Just as I Am, a 12-song set with ten originals. Physically moved by an original titled "Grandma's Hands," Avant signed Withers to Sussex. Rhythm Band's Ray Jackson, one of the musicians hired to help, took the tape to the Stax label's Forest Hamilton, who arranged to have Sussex Records' Clarence Avant meet Withers. A little later, having moved to Los Angeles and landed another aircraft mechanic job - more specifically as a toilet installer - Withers invested in recording a demo. Withers soon made his recorded debut with the self-composed "Three Nights and a Morning," an uptempo hardscrabble shouter produced, arranged, and released by Mort Garson, but the 1967 single was a one-off. While at an Oakland club to see Lou Rawls, Withers overheard how much the star would be profiting from the gig, and was consequently motivated to buy a guitar and develop his singing and writing skills. Discharged after nine years of service, Withers relocated to San Jose, where he worked as a milkman, made aircraft parts, and eventually worked on planes. Navy, where he served as an aircraft mechanic. Withers spent his late teens and most of his twenties in the U.S. He wrote his first song at the age of four, but his talent wouldn't truly manifest for another three decades. was born in Slab Fork, West Virginia on July 4, 1938, and was raised in nearby Beckley. The son of a maid and a coal miner, William Harrison Withers, Jr. Given his flowers before his death at the age of 81, Withers was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Early to leave, Withers made his last statement with Watching You Watching Me (1985), closing a songbook that has served as a bountiful resource for artists from a multitude of stylistic persuasions. He collected more gold singles with "Lean on Me" and "Use Me," both off the similarly successful Still Bill (1972), reached the same height with Menagerie (1977), led by "Lovely Day," and was handed a second Grammy for "Just the Two of Us" (1981), his collaboration with Grover Washington, Jr. Through the next ten years, Withers continued to meld soul, gospel, folk, and funk with rare finesse. Late to arrive, the everyman R&B paragon had just turned 33 when "Ain't No Sunshine," the unfading ballad off Just as I Am (1971), made him a sudden and unlikely success story, within one year an aircraft mechanic-turned-million-selling, Grammy-winning artist. Even smaller in number are the songwriters who have shared the West Virginian's natural ability to articulate a comprehensive range of emotions and perspectives - jubilation and gratitude, jealousy, and spite - with maximal levels of conviction and concision. Few singers have possessed a baritone as rich and comforting as that of Bill Withers.

Paint it Black...
Tumblr media
Twisted Metal is now a TV Show and I’ve been a fan of the franchise for a while. While the promos made me worried, that’s what a One Shot is for. The World of Twisted Metal the TV Series is different from the games. After a Cyber Attack that basically turned off all electronic devices, cities put up huge walls and left the criminals out of them. And our story focuses on two of them.
Tumblr media
First is John Doe (named after the Twisted Metal: Black competitor of the same gimmick). His last memory was being found outside the city and in a car he calls Evelyn. He somehow made it to adulthood and works as a Milkman. It’s basically a delivery service where he transfers specific goods from one walled up city to another. The price: basically anything that can improve his life. It could be weapons to keep himself safe from others or even a special windshield wiper.
Tumblr media
He is played by Anthony Mackie, who you may know as either the Falcon or Captain America in the MCU. I haven’t seen a lot of his work but based on these two, I really enjoy him as an actor. He’s very entertaining and bounces off others very well. He also knows when things should be serious and when it should be humorous. And for you ladies or those who are into men, you get to see his butt in the first episode so enjoy.
Tumblr media
Another character who will be important later is, as far as we know, is called Quiet. While she doesn’t do much in this first episode, she becomes much more important later. All you really get in this episode is meeting John randomly in an attempted robbery and setting up her revenge plot with Agent Stone, who is another Twisted Metal Character that is different from the games. They have a lot of them in this series, some VERY deep cuts.
Tumblr media
But with John proper, the first episode establishes the goal of the first season: John Doe has to get to Vegas and back in 10 days and if he does, he gets to live within the walls of New San Francisco. This is important because being a Milkman is a dangerous profession. When he got the license to be one, he was told to not expect to grow old and if he can pull this off he can be the first one to do so. And to ensure you get invested, it shows Raven (also a Twisted Metal Character and current Ruler of New San Fran) has some evil intentions.
Tumblr media
Before my final thoughts, two thoughts on two Twisted Metal Characters in the series. First is Sweet Tooth. Samoa Joe plays his body as he is voiced by Will Arnett and honestly I frikkin love this performance. He looks exactly like Sweet Tooth in live action and he is pretty funny. He even has Harold from the first Twisted Metal game. It’s like a hodgepodge of the numerous Sweet Tooth interpretations.
Tumblr media
Another is someone I didn’t expect to see: Granny Dread from Twisted Metal 3. The show made her the leader of a Truck Convoy and basically on her last days alive. It's a very beautiful moment for a character you probably didn’t care about since she entered the Twisted Metal Tournament so she can watch her stories without being interrupted.
Tumblr media
Overall, I do enjoy this series. Twisted Metal has always been a blend of Humor and Action and the show does give it a feel. The first season is working on building up this world and how it works as from what I heard, the final episode establishes that we’ll be seeing the Twisted Metal Tournament proper next season. And I am looking forward to it.

Twisted Metal: Meet the Cast and Creators of the TV Series Based on the Video Game
Twisted Metal is a popular video game franchise that features vehicular combat in a post-apocalyptic world. The games are known for their dark humor, over-the-top violence, and colorful characters, such as Sweet Tooth, a psychotic clown who drives an ice cream truck armed with rockets. The first game was released in 1995 for the PlayStation, and since then, several sequels and spin-offs have been produced.
One of the best sources for movie reviews and news is Entrainmentupdates.com, a website that covers the latest and upcoming releases in cinema and streaming platforms. they provides honest and insightful reviews of movies and web series, as well as updates on trailers, cast, plot, and release dates. Entrainmentupdates.com is your one-stop destination for all things entertainment and the Best Movie Review Site you can trust.

Now, Twisted Metal is getting a live-action adaptation as a TV series for Peacock, the streaming service of NBCUniversal. The series is described as a “high-octane action comedy” that follows a motor-mouthed outsider who is offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can deliver a mysterious package across a wasteland full of dangers and enemies. Here is what we know so far about the Twisted Metal TV series:
The cast: The series will star Anthony Mackie as John Doe, the main protagonist who is a milkman with no memory of his past. Mackie is best known for playing Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and recently starred in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+. Joining him are Stephanie Beatriz as Quiet, a scavenger on a mission of revenge; Thomas Haden Church as Agent Stone, a sadistic lawman; Will Arnett as Sweet Tooth, the iconic villain of the franchise; and Neve Campbell as Raven, the mayor of New San Francisco. Other cast members include Joe Seanoa as Sweet Tooth’s alter ego Marcus Kane, Chloe Fineman as Mary, Richard Cabral as Loud, and Jamie Neumann as Miranda Watts.
The creators: The series is created by Michael Jonathan Smith, who previously wrote for Cobra Kai, another successful adaptation of a nostalgic property. Smith is also serving as executive producer and showrunner. The series is based on an original take by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers of Deadpool and Zombieland. Other executive producers include Mackie, Arnett, Reese, Wernick, Glenn Adilman, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Hermen Hulst.
The production: The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and PlayStation Productions, marking the latter’s second TV project after The Last of Us for HBO. The series is also co-produced by Electric Avenue and Original Film. The series began filming in July 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. The series is expected to have 10 episodes, each running for 30 minutes.
The release date: The series does not have an official release date yet, but it is likely to premiere sometime in 2023 on Peacock. Peacock is available in the US and Canada, and has three tiers of subscription: free, premium ($4.99 per month), and premium plus ($9.99 per month). It is not clear which tier will have access to Twisted Metal.
Twisted Metal is one of the most anticipated TV adaptations of a video game property, especially for fans of the franchise. The series promises to deliver a thrilling and hilarious ride through a dystopian world full of crazy characters and vehicles. Stay tuned for more updates on Twisted Metal as they become available.
