anyways... here's why i think Loki and Matt Murdock should be each other's narrative foil(romantic):
• Loki- famously known liar, Matt Murdock- able to tell when people are lying
• Both wear helmets with horns on them, but Matt's are small and practical and Loki's are large and gaudy.
• Matt Murdock- Practicing Irish Catholic, Loki- Norse "God" of Mischief
• Loki- Presents himself as selfish and self preserving, Matt Murdock- Presents himself as selfless and self sacrificing
• Loki- Will flee if he knows he's gonna get his ass kicked for no gain, Matt Murdock- Knows he's gonna get his ass kicked for no gain and does it anyway
• They simply seem like prime material for a "We vehemently dislike each other up until we (whoops!) realize we love each other so much we can't live without the other" type romance that I am always obsessed over.
• Thor would enjoy it, and, frankly, he deserves the entertainment.

I'm telling you all right now: DO NOT REBLOG HATEFUL POSTS. DO NOT REPOST HATEFUL POSTS. DO NOT SPREAD THEM TO MORE OF THE PEOPLE THEY ARE TRYING TO HURT.
How about instead of trying to "own the haters" you try to make a new supportive post for people to view instead. Don't tack support onto hate. Don't help the spread of hateful messages. Ignore them. Block them. Move on. Spread something better.
The fact is they want people made they want you to reply and spread their message because that's the point. People say hateful shit to get a rise out of the people they are hurting. Do not let them do that to you and don't let them do that to the rest of us.
You see an asshole posting? Block them. Block them. BLOCK THEM.

Saw a post making fun of Asexuals in the year of our Good Vibes 2022 so a reminder:
The A stands for the Asexual community and spectrum (it also represents the Aromantic and Agender communities but I’m Asexual so I’ll be talking about that specifically in this post)
Celibacy is a choice to abstain from sex. Asexuality is a sexuality defined by a lack of sexual attraction to anyone, not by the choice to abstain from sex.
Every asexual person has different feelings on sex (an activity, not an attraction) - some are sex repulsed, some are sex neutral, and some are sex favorable. A physically pleasurable experience is not equal to an attraction to parties involved.
The Asexual community has been around since the dawn of the Queer liberation movement, and Asexual individuals have always existed.
Aphobia is real and has done tangible harm to Asexual people. Listen to and learn from their experiences.
If you make fun of Asexuals and their community jokes (dragons/cakes/cards) you are Aphobic. If you’re Asexual and you make fun of these aspects of your own community or consider them ‘cringe’ you have internalized Aphobia.
Sometimes teenagers and young people will identify as Asexual and change their label later in life. This does not mean that all young people who identify as Asexual will change their minds, nor does it mean that all people who identify as Asexual are young.
Seriously what do you people have against the dragons and cake jokes those are classic and hilarious please deconstruct why you have so much rage for harmless jokes that’s not a healthy response to silliness.
Anyways reblog this post if you’re Asexual, support Asexuals, or really want a dragon.

i’ll be so fr the takes of “well cdream was never a good character actually and everything good he did wasn’t even actually ccdream’s choice i’ve decided” is just another “good person only makes good art while bad person only makes bad art” which is just untrue.
i love cdream, he’s one of my favorite dsmp characters, and ccdream being a piece of shit i would hit with a car literally does nothing to change that. there are tons of writers/actors i hate but that doesn’t mean i hate their character or the thing they created.
and of course there were choices made for cdream i didn’t love, especially near the end, but i can say that for literally all the dsmp characters including ones with cc’s i still adore. and if you genuinely don’t think cdream is a good character that’s like fine who care but it’s always so strange when i see people going “well cdream’s a bad character this is just objective fact because ccdream never tried or wrote well or knew what was going on” which is just not true.

Blog 1: lol anyone else seeing a lot of strawberries in new recipes now? sometimes its fun but i really dont get the appeal of adding it to everything. why did you make strawberry garlic bread
Blog 2: u kno im not a fan of strawberries, i really like the rich sweet and sour notes from oranges, oranges and chocolate is such a good combo. i altered a recipe for a smoothie with oranges last week and it was soooo good ill give you my notes if you want Reblogged by: Blog 1: ahaha yesss i love chocolate and oranges
Blog 3: I canNOT believe the hate im seeing to strawberries right now, like, you know guys know the rule don't like don't bake right?? you know you can hit the back button right?? honestly what's wrong with yall
Open draft- wait guys you know there's a difference between leaving a comment on a recipe saying you hate strawberries and the recipe writer should never use them, and going to your own blog to say you don't really like strawberries, without naming any specific people or recipes right? you know there's a difference right?? - Save - Post - Discard
Draft discarded
Blog 4: why is everyone jumping on the strawberry hate train right now. what is wrong with you. Reblogged by: Blog 5: I knowwww like guys some people stop baking because of reading things like that, please stop it, if you don't like strawberries you can be quiet about it
Open draft- im so sorry if anyone's getting sent mean messages or comments about what they're writing and baking, but i'm literally not seeing any of that and if you are, please use the block button. but someone making a post on their own blog is not that, and if you can't see the irony in you being allowed to complain on personal blogs but not them i can't help you... - save- post- discard
Draft discarded
Blog 2: are strawberries even in season?
Blog 6: woo cherry pie!

I just re-read my old comment on someone else’s post and now I’m thinking about the epilogue again 🥹.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we’ve all heard and seen the posts saying “Peeta forced her to have babies!” Which, okay, if you’ve read the book and connect with his character, you already realize that isn’t true. But I’m just saying, if you eradicate away that bad take, Peeta actively wanting children is such a good step for his character. It indicates so much healing on his part? In those fifteen years before they had their children, Peeta didn’t just grow back to loving Katniss but also himself. The boy who was hijacked, who didn’t know who he even was during the war, would never have wanted to have a baby. Even the boy on the beach, who was preparing to die in a matter of hours, would never have chosen to have a child. The fact that Peeta wanted the toastbabies strongly indicates how he feels about himself. He no longer thinks himself a monster or a mutt or even a bad person. He sees himself for who he is, good and bad and scars and all.
And this also goes hand in hand with another implication. We already know Katniss and Peeta end up back together again but the fact that Peeta wants the kids means he not only believes himself to be a good parent but he sees Katniss as one. No one — especially not someone who’s seen the dark side of the world as much as Peeta has — is ever going to try for kids with someone they don’t think highly of. If you want children with a person, you’re pretty convinced they’re going to be a good parent. The fact that Peeta, who was brainwashed into thinking Katniss is a mutt, who tried to kill her for what he thought was his own protection, who saw only the worst in her amplified — and then some — and who had to struggle within himself to even be in the same vicinity as her, actually convinced her she’d be a good parent, that she would give their children an amazing, happy life, full of hope and understanding and love above all else, tells you everything you need to know about how he sees her in the end.

The wave of Thomas Sanders hate that was going for ages just because of him acting mildly annoying to some people while making jokes and being nice to people was INSANE. He's literally always been a cool guy

You are allowed to think what you like, obviously, but since you said that you weren't following the full coverage on it i just wanted to let you know that there were only five people (plus the pilot) on board the "submarine" and they were all billionaire business men.
Tumblr media
okay ty! yah like i said it wasn't an informed opinion on the situation, just an inarticulate reflection on the current state of my dash haha. mainly it's just a generalised personal discomfort with media coverage of tragedies lol. obvs billionaires are inherently unethical and don't need defending so it's not even rly about them tbh. intended as more of a personal post than serious commentary yk (honestly i assumed there were some kinda employees on board along with them sjdjgjf - i'm uninformed mostly on purpose lol, i feel uncomfortable looking for details. but thanks for clarifying + not being rude dw i hear you)

As an aroace just gonna say do whatever you want with Alastor. I personally don’t vibe with how a lot of the fandom ships him around but also I’m not a cop, I’m not gonna tell you what to do.
Also aroaces can be sex/romance positive. Shockingly.

so many people on this site posting about irony poisoning and wishing people would be more sincere and "say something true and beautiful" but the second someone dares to (gasp) enjoy media it's right back to "haha ew cringe you like fandoms what are you 14 haha lol lmao cringe get a job you fucking loser you probably have no critical thinking skills and everything you like is objectively bad actually and you should be sooo embarrassed" like i'm sorry but you can't demand sincerity if your reaction to other people's sincere enjoyment of harmless hobbies is going to be thay vitriolic. you can't demand people be more open and vulnerable without thinking about why they felt the need to hide behind all those layers of irony and detachment in the first place.

I don't understand how people on the 'I'm not normal about characters' website can think they're above people who read/create reader inserts. Just because you don't like them, doesn't mean you have to put down those who do? Let people have fun! It's not that hard!

love tf2 fan content that takes so many creative liberties about the characters and dynamics but if you're actually discoursing about the characters' moralities as they appear in canon stop stop stop. idc if spy tf2 is a deadbeat dad or whatever they are all caricatures of various stereotypes and they murder people for fun. spy tf2 being scouts deadbeat dad can be funny. as a treat
