Tilly

B = He has a difficult relationship with his body after the changes the famine put it through, but on a good day, he likes his cheekbones. As for his partner, he likes any part of you that's extra squishy. If you've got a tummy, he'll love that a lot. Vant: His reaction depends on if you're both the only ones home/live alone together or if another housemate is around. If you're alone? You'll hear him chuckling from the doorway of his home office as he comes out to greet you. He'll have an amused little smile on his face as he crooks a finger in a "c'mere" motion. He'll give you all the kisses and cuddles and distractions you may need happily.

If you both aren't alone in the home, you're likely to get a raise of his brow and a "Bad Day?" as he offers a listening ear. If you decide you wanna rant about your day, he'll listen and get angry along with you. He's a great person to go when you just wanna get the anger out cause he'll back you up 100%. He won't, however, offer those cuddles/kisses until you're both somewhere private. He doesn't like being affectionate around others, it makes him uncomfortable.

Pup: Only a few seconds after you yell that, you'll feel the familiar pressure of magic in the air as he shortcuts behind you. He'll slip his arms around your waist, give you a good squeeze, and murmur "ya called?" in your ear. He'll 'port you both to your bed, spooning you properly, and offer to listen if you wanna talk about what's got you so upset. He'll listen quietly and pepper little kisses along your shoulder and neck as you speak. If you want some proper kisses, he'll be more than happy to oblige.

Mal: He'll find this adorable. He's likely grading papers, or enjoying a good read on the couch as he winds down from his workday, but either way he'll look to the front door, slipping off his reading glasses with an amused smile. He'll put down whatever he was busying himself with and pat his lap in an offer for you to lay your head down. If you take him up on that offer, he'll hold your hand and stroke your hair as you rant about your day. He'll have sassy quips for anyone who pissed you off, but for the most part he stays quiet as you release that anger from the day. When you've calmed down, he'll bring your hand to his teeth to press a skele-kiss to your knuckles.

Midas: He will take this and run. He hears that you want cuddles and will just toss you over his shoulder, and march you to your room where he'll toss you playfully on the bed and will quite literally (but also carefully, so as to not hurt you) flop himself on top of you. And there, he will stay as you talk about your day... and then on. If you wanna get up? Good luck, he's acting as a dead weight on top of you, shoulders shaking as he laughs through your struggle. When you finally wriggle out from under him, he'll peek up at you and waggle his brows, "still wanna smooch?" - Get his ass.

I haven’t found a straight answer, so-

How old are Wolf and Fox?

depends!

the first game from 1993 listed fox's age as 25. it was in the official ost book

it also lists peppy as 36, falco as 28, and slippy as 19.

sf 2 was never released but it was supposed to be a continuation, a true sequel.

then sf 64 came out, redid the entire story, and changed everyone's ages. on the official star fox 64 website, through the wayback machine, you'll see fox and the team's ages listed and that they have changed pretty dramatically.

fox is now 18 years old, so is slippy, falco is 19, and peppy is 42. these ages are also reflected in the nintendo power star fox 64 trading cards.

now, what about wolf? arwingpedia lists his age as 27 during the lylat wars. does the official sf 64 website say anything if we click star wolf?

no, it doesn't. does the star fox assault page say anything about wolf's age?

no it doesn't. neither does star fox 2, or star fox zero. star fox zero didn't even list star fox's ages, so people assume their ages are the same as sf 64.

now, back to fox. his age in adventures is 26, since eight years have passed since the lylat wars. assault is a year or two later so he's 27-28, and command is a year or two after that, so he's 28-29.

wolf's never had a real official source for his exact age, but what we can go off of is his dialogue. "you'll be seeing your dad soon, fox" (64), "looks like you ain't your father after all..." (assault), "i'm impressed, i haven't had this much fun since i fought your father" (zero). the only other folks that consistently bring up james are peppy & pigma & andross. if wolf fought james, he'd obv have to be old enough to pilot and be a merc/pirate prior to being hired by andross. sure he could have been a scrappy teen, and it's rlly fun to think abt! but wolf is likely older by the time fox joins the skirmish in the lylat wars. esp by assault with wolf mockingly calling fox "pup" (so does leon, panther calls him "runt") basically shoving in his face "i've got more experience than you" also calls fox "boy" in assault. but no direct answer left a lot in the air.

so, wolf during the lylat wars would be in his early 40s if not late 30s when fox is 18. when fox is 27-28 in assault, wolf would be in his late 40s, early 50s. command prob early 50s.

hullo from 2am in tokyo! have s'more suggestions originally from @annachibisims, now uploaded for @katsurinssims. these are @atomiclight's cheer bow set items converted from ts4 to ts2: an accessory, top, and bottom for your balletcore sims!

all are... fairly high-poly? they make up 19k polys in total which isn't too bad imo, and are for tf-ef (pup ears) and yf-af (everything else). skirt is paired with @jius-sims slingback mary jane heels, plus the sims 4 maxis fishnets recoloured in white. more deets under the cut!

for the WIP tag game, I feel like im obligated to ask about bitties and the beast.... 😳👀😏

twirls hair. bitties and the beast!! i actually have a shitty moodboard/collage i made like 2 years ago or something so... tada!

the fic is set in the middle of a city, where rival gangs of werewolves and other creatures (such as vampires) all vying for territory.

the reader is a very paranoid werewolf who gets saddled with a couple bitties after they catch them sneaking aroung their apartment. due to their paranoia, they initially threaten the bitties, slipping into their more animalistic side for a moment, before realising they aren't a threat and backing off guiltily.

it'd be a very fraught dynamic where the reader tries to keep their distance for a while, as they think of themselves as dangerous (and rightfully so!) and worry about their instincts/beastial side causing harm to the bitties.

the Pup warms up to the reader unusually quickly, whereas the Razzy takes much much longer, having been the one caught and threatened at the beginning. eventually they pick up the names Cotton and Cro :]

Blue: Absolutely hates being picked up. He'll communicate that the first time you try this, and hopes you'll respect that and not do it again. He may be short, but that doesn't mean he wants to be scooped up like this.

Bee: He'll squirm every time, as he never really expects it. Watch out for his long flailing limbs. He'll eventually settle into it, but you might want to start giving him proper warnings if you don't wanna accidentally get kicked.

Pup: This will fluster him every time. He has a thing for your strength. Once he gets used to you pulling this move, you might have to watch out for that long, happy, wagging tail of his cause it might smack you.

Midas: He's lazy and will happily let you do this, however, he won't make it easy for you. He will ragdoll or tickle you, snickering the whole time you struggle. You might want to just drop him on the nearest soft surface.

So I went to San Francisco pride when I was 14 right? I'm pretty sure it was the first pride parade I'd ever been to, as my parents just had no enthusiasm for it. My cool SF aunt though? She heard about me coming out and was like "oh so you're coming to pride when you visit right?" I was very new to queerness, still poisoned by that time I tripped and skinned my knees on the alt-right pipeline, and generally still kind of childish about things.

There were dudes in leather harnesses and nothing else at SF pride, there was someone wearing solely a cock ring, there were a couple guys in the parade itself who were cracking whips, I saw people in pup hoods for the first time. I was wildly uncomfortable and very weirded out. It's easy to say "I shouldn't have been" because hey it's pride, I should let people have fun. But here's the thing, my being uncomfortable didn't stop them from having fun. I didn't demand the parade be stopped, I just sat there a grimaced.

I wasn't harmed at SF pride, even though I was a child and genuinely uncomfortable, it didn't harm me. I was exposed to something new, being weirded out is kind of a normal reaction to that. That doesn't mean those leather guys should be banned from pride, it means I was a kid and will work through my feelings about it in time.

I think if someone is an adult and is uncomfortable with kink at pride still, they should go to a gay bar on a leather night and be uncomfortable. You don't have to be comfortable to let other people have a good time, some guy in a jockstrap and harness on the other side of the room doesn't have to ruin your night. Do you know what might make your night better? Recognizing all the people that aren't wearing leather but still having a good time. You can be around something you're not into, and be happy for the people who are.

I think that's what pride is all about you know? It's lesbians saying "hey I'm not into men, but I think it's cool those gay guys are." It's gay men saying "hey I'm not into women but it's pretty neat that lesbians are." It's all of us with unconventional sexualities, romantic orientations, genders, and kinks coming together to say "hey, that's not for me but it's awesome that you like it."

I think being uncomfortable is the first step to acceptance, and I think everyone would find it worth it to at least try to climb those stairs.

Luna - The Bowery Ballroom, New York City, October 20, 2019

Some good news for a change. As per usual, I'll be out in the Los Angeles area visiting family over the holidays. Less per usual, Luna will be there, too! The band is playing two west coast shows to close out 2024 — the Teragram Ballroom on Dec. 29 and the Fillmore up in SF on New Year's Eve. If you're going to the Teragram ... I'll see you there! I'm even bringing my kid, who is currently just about the same age as I was when I first saw Luna way back in the 1990s. "They're pretty much my favorite band," I told her this week. "You say that about a lot of bands," she replied. And maybe I do! But Luna is definitely one of my top 10 favorite bands. They always sound great, right?

Luna definitely sounds great on this NYC Taper SBD/AUD matrix from a few years back, which features the band playing the classic Penthouse in its entirety — an event made even more special by a rare appearance from original bassist Justin Harwood, who flew in from New Zealand for the occasion. The second set, meanwhile, is particularly deep-cut heavy, with some killer covers (Roy Orbison, the Monochrome Set, Donovan) and dips into the underrated LPs Pup Tent and Days of Our Nights (I always love hearing "Superfreaky Memories"). Viva Luna!

(Oh and hey, if you haven't checked out guitarist Sean Eden's recent solo single, you gotta! It is terrific.)
