Cove's Alphabet SFW

The safe-for-work version of Cove Holden's Alphabet is finally here! Enjoy my lovelies. (Took so much longer to write because it has over double the word count than the NSFW one <3) ALSO! This version is for all genders, so if you find something that is tailored specifically to a woman or male, lmk and I'll correct it :)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) Cove loves to hold your hand and do the little thumb thing where he rubs it against the side of your hand. He often holds your hand whenever you two are around each other, no matter the circumstance. You two are walking to a beach? He’ll hold your hand. He’s kissing you? He reaches for your hand. It’s a little intimate act that doesn’t make him embarrassed, and it means a lot to be able to stay within arms reach of you at all times. He also has a thing for placing his lips somewhere where you did or eating a portion of food where you also ate part of it. For example, if you two are out on a little date night and you both get different desserts, he will ask to try whatever dessert you’re eating only because he likes the idea of indirectly kissing like this. If you offer him any food, he will almost always put his mouth not directly, but on half of the area you already bit out of rather than on the opposite side of the food, like a sandwich.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) You two met when you both were very young, obviously, and you two bonded more over how Cove didn’t know how to deal with his trauma with his family's divorce and moving to a new place. If we are sticking with this idea, he grew fond of you very quickly because you were the first person he met in Sunset Bird, and you always tried your best to include him in different activities or to spend one-on-one time with him to learn about his interests; he naturally also began doing that with you too! If we are wanting to be a bit annoying and say you two really became friends in step 2 or 3, he already knew you since he often saw you when he went to the beach and because you lived right across the street. He made small gestures like offering you a drink (A Caprisun or something) and you would accept it. Or.. he would ask you something about school since you two went to the same one, like: "MC, um… do you happen to know how to solve for x?" or "I’m stuck on my fourth quote. Can you help me find something to use? I looked so many times, but nothing fits with my topic sentence." Of course, you would always help him because you either had no clue yourself or because you were better at the subject he asked about, which allowed you two to bond more often. When helping him with something, he always got sidetracked by pointing something out about your room or telling you something that went on in his day and wanting your opinion about it. Regardless of when you both became friends, he always had little inside jokes with you, and you both often wore them out too quickly, or he would always tell you random facts he learned about the sea, like: "Did you know jellyfish are just floating blobs and they don’t think?" or: "The male seahorse actually gives birth instead of the female one, so do you think that means they still have the same lower regions like humans or do you think it’s swapped?" Regardless, there is always something stewing in Cove’s mind that he is more than happy to ask you about.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Cove is an absolute sucker for cuddling—just not in his bed. You two have cuddled on multiple occasions when you were both friends, such as when the two of you watched a movie together, he often sat next to you, and somehow you both ended up falling asleep, his head resting on yours. If the two of you are dating, he often gets too flustered to sleep next to you in his bed because he can get very flustered when being absolutely alone with you and in such intimate proximity. He often lets you cuddle him when the two of you are just relaxing at his house on a couch, or if he is exhausted from his work shift, he will make a beeline for your house after work and rest his head on your lap while mindlessly telling you about the random shenanigans of his work day. (Bonus points if you put Cove’s front hair into a ponytail or if you just thread your fingers through his hair, which often makes him blush due to how good it feels.)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) At some point, he wouldn’t be against moving in regardless of you two being friends, dating, or engaged. He won’t ever tell you he is a bit of a messy person, and you will find out the exact day you move in that he is a little bit of a slob. He doesn’t leave random dishes around, but he has random shirts strewn across his room, and sometimes he’ll leave dishes unwashed for days, but he eventually gets to doing it. He also barely uses his closet. He often just picks out shirts and pants from the basket he threw them in after washing his clothes, rather than putting them away like a civil human being. (You’ll just have to deal with the sand problem because somehow, regardless of whether he was going swimming that day, he tracks sand into the main entryway.) He also cannot cook for shit, but he can prepare miscellaneous foods that his mom taught him to cook, like chicken or tacos. His cooking abilities are very limited, but if there is a food you really enjoy, he will take the time while you are out to figure out how to cook it and eventually master it and cook it for you one night to impress you.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) Cove would always try to fix any problems between you two, but if things just became too much to bear, i.e: you constantly cheating on him or you doing something he’s told you make him uncomfortable too many times, he will find a way regardless of what you did to be nice until the end. He would sit you down wherever you live and have a genuine calm conversation with you, and when it gets to the point where he has to say the five words (We need to break up), he begins to tear up himself. During the whole conversation, he will hold your hand to try and comfort you, but really, it’s him coming to terms that it will be the last time he will be doing something like that with you or whoever he is breaking up with. After the conversation is done, which probably takes an hour and a half because he often beats around the bush, he will leave and beat himself up for the next couple of days before he gets over it.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?) Cove would definitely love to make you his wife/partner/husband at some point after you two are somewhat stable. Depending on when you propose to him or he proposes to you (If step 3), he prefers to stay engaged to you for a couple years before marrying you, then wait a little while longer before having kids. If you have issues or you just prefer not to be married, Cove totally understands, and he is willing to treat you like his forever partner, even if you both aren’t engaged. Ideally, Cove would like to marry you on the spot because you have such a chokehold on him, but, realistically, you two get married when you canonically would, so around 24. Regardless of when you get engaged, he will wait a couple years or whenever you are ready to settle down.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) More often than not, Cove is a gentle person over a rough one. Especially when the two of you are getting intimate, he will always stay really gentle—more so the first couple of times—but he will treat you with respect. Physically, he always tries to gently hold your hand or caress your cheek gently before you two kiss to make things not only more sensual but also more comfortable. Emotionally, he will often not directly address an issue between you two but instead hint at it, trying his best to not hurt your feelings, even if he is the one annoyed by whatever.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Cove loves hugs. He isn’t an overhugger, but he won’t ever turn you down if you ask for one. Especially if he is sad about something, he will cling to you like a sloth to a tree, crying into your shoulder, because we all know he is a bit of a crybaby. (In the best way possible, of course.) He often goes under rather than over, so he can hold your waist and put his face down on your shoulder. If you are sad and need a hug, he will always tightly hold you (especially if you have sensory issues) and keep you pressed against him while gently rubbing circles with his palm into your back. If you two are being intimate, the first thing he will do after you two finish is hug you tightly, even if it was a quickie and you needed to leave ASAP.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) He didn’t want to spring the three words on you too quickly in case you weren’t comfortable with admitting that to him yourself, so he waited, but also because he was a little nervous himself to admit he had such strong feelings for you. After 1 to 3 months, he will accidentally let it slip once. The very first time he said it to you was when you two were having a mini movie night at his house and the two of you were cuddled up on one of the main floor's couches, sharing a fleece blanket. At some point during the movie, you two end up kissing, and after he pulls away he rubs your cheek with his thumb gently and looks into your eyes before whispering under his breath: "God, I love you so much…". Your eyes almost popped out of your head when he said that, and when the words processed in his head, his hand that caressed your cheek instantly went to his mouth. You look a bit anxious yourself, reassuring him that it was adorable (Bonus points if this is when you also tell him you love him for the first time). You put your hands on either side of his head, sitting on your knees now, and you tell him how you are so glad he told you, and it means so much to you that he was finally able to say it. This makes you wonder, though: how many times before did he think about saying I love you in his head but never verbally?

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) Cove is pretty good when it comes to jealousy, so he won’t ever get nervous when you have any guy or girl friends (Depending on your gender and your sexuality). He believes in loyalty and faith, so he puts his full trust in you, but when someone flirts with you and you play into it a little, whether you’re aware of it yourself or not, he will shift over to you and put a hand on your waist, or he will pull a: "How’re you feeling [insert pet name you enjoy], good, I hope?" and he gives you a kiss on the forehead. This is usually enough to shut whatever down, but if it isn't, he will begin glaring at whoever is flirting with you, and he will insert himself into whatever conversation, acting a bit passive-aggressive because whoever wasn’t taking the hint.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) Usually, Cove gets nervous with PDA, so the kisses you share are often short and sweet, such as quick pecks on the lips or a few seconds, but he makes up for it by following up with a kiss on your cheek. When the two of you are alone, the kisses are usually more lengthy, and he likes giving you quiet praise after you two finish (exactly how he accidentally let ‘I love you’ slip because it was natural). He likes to be kissed anywhere, honestly. On his head, hand, arms, chest, stomach, and, if you’re feeling a bit risque, on his inner thighs. Every kiss you give him, he cherishes, regardless of the placement. He often likes to kiss your cheeks, forehead, and the back of your palm. If he is feeling a bit risque, then he likes to give you kisses on your ankles (Bonus points if you are wearing an anklet).

L = Little ones (How are they around children?) You’d think he would get flustered around kids, but he is surprisingly good with them because Derek would sometimes bring Nico and Jorge over to Cove’s place, or Cove would go over to help watch them. Derek showed Cove the different tactics Nico often pulled to get his way, and he made sure to tell Cove all the important details about children, such as how to entertain them and what things to keep away from them. Cove can often handle children, even when they do gross things such as pick their noses or poop in their diapers, which he often takes care of himself, and if you two choose to have a child, he will be the primary one to take care of that. If you two have children or adopt, he is definitely the type to cry when you point out how old they're getting, even if they are 2.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Cove will often wake up a bit late, such as 10–11 am if he isn’t needed to go out anywhere, and he likes cuddling with you even while you both are awake in bed. He could spend a whole day just not getting out of bed and shifting positions with you in bed because he enjoys your warmth. If you are more of an early bird, he will often tighten his arms around your waist and keep you close to him, nuzzling his nose into the crease of your neck until you shake him off. If you two don’t spend the night together, you often go over to his house and wake him up by tugging at his hair, to which he will grab your hand and pull you closer to him if the two of you are dating. He won’t realize what he did at first, but when he does, he will get flustered and turn over, apologizing. He is slow to get out of bed and to brush his teeth, so his hair often goes unbrushed until after breakfast, unless you decide to brush it for him (Bonus points if you give him head kisses while you brush his hair).

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) If you two are dating, he won’t bring up sleeping next to each other but instead ‘cuddle before you go home’. You don’t tell him, but you love it when he is so nervous about this because if he had just asked you directly, it wasn’t as if you’d turn him down anyway. He tries to stay up as late as you do, so if you go to sleep early, he will often watch a show or something while playing with your hair and giving you the occasional head kiss. He also loves nuzzling your nose when you’re sleepy, don’t ask him why, he just does. If you often stay up late, then he will try his best to stay by your side, whether he falls asleep in your bed or is sitting down beside your desk on the floor and falls asleep with his head against the seat of your chair. You will wake him up when you’re done, and he groggily gets up, clinging to you until you get in bed. Even if you need to change into pajamas, he will often just lend you his shirt, regardless of whether he has a spare, so you can lay down quicker with him. Or, if you need to brush your teeth, he will have his hands across your stomach and his head on top of yours / on your shoulder until you're done, and then he gets a little giddy when you tell him you’re done, laying down with him.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?) You two were friends before you both began dating, so you already knew a lot about him. If you ask him anything, he doesn’t mind telling you (especially if you ask him when you’re making/getting him a gift, he’ll pretend he has no idea why you’re asking him the question just to see your happy face when you give it to him). He isn’t a closed-off person; instead, he is more of an open book, but he is a bit nervous to tell you about what he likes intimately (Canon), but he will tell you in a quiet voice. Don’t ask him to repeat what he likes in intimate scenarios after he tells you once or twice in the same conversation because he will get too flustered and shut down. It’s a bit of a turn-on for him when you know all the little things about him, so he often mentions if he likes something mid-conversation if you two are on the topic about it.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?) He is a pretty patient guy. Obviously, if you don’t understand something he doesn’t mind re-explaining it to you, and he actually finds it funny if you need something repeated more than twice. He is also patient when you get ready for dates if you’re the type to take over an hour to get ready. He enjoys sitting in the bathroom with you and watching you put on makeup (If you put it on) or style your hair / put it up. (If you do.) If you two are meeting up for a date, then he will wait all day for you, but how could you ever leave him waiting?

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) For Cove, it’s a mix of it all. There are weirdly specific things he memorizes about you, like if you don’t like a specific condiment or if you put your hair behind your ear / tie it up when you are looking down at something, but he can’t remember your favorite color some days. If you bring up a music artist you often listen to, he will silently remind himself to keep it in mind, and he will write it down on his phone’s notes app so he doesn’t forget. He won’t tell you, but it got to the point where his notes app had too long of a list, so he switched over to Google Docs, and he has over 3 pages worth of information about what you like/dislike and why. Things he specifically memorizes are physical stuff about you, like your favorite jewelry or how you like to dress. When the two of you go out and spend a day together or go on a date, he, for some reason, counts the number of different pieces of jewelry you wear (if you do), as if you’ll ask him at the end of the night.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?) Every day with you is something special to Cove, so it would be hard for Cove to choose a specific moment, but back when you two were younger (Step 2) and you two went on that road trip, he’s really fond of the entire trip because he not only enjoyed the get-together and mix of your families, but he also likes that you specifically wear anklets for him now on because that was when you first found out he liked them. Despite him hitting his head on the top of the RV, he finds it funny now, and he can make fun of his little self for how flustered he was. (Bonus points if you tell him he isn’t any different currently.) (Bonus bonus points if you do something that makes him extremely flustered to prove your point.)

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) Typically, Cove would prefer to handle things with words rather than physically needing to deal with someone, so if someone were to badger you or annoy you, he would put his arm in front of you and be straightforward with a stern voice. Cove believes you can handle yourself for the most part, but he will always step in if you give him a glance or if you seem overwhelmed by someone. Typically, when Cove talks about something important, he beats around the bush a bit, but he won’t ever stand for someone disrespecting you. He will make sure you feel safe, and after everything is dealt with, he'll give you many kisses.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Cove is definitely dedicated to any and all relationships he was/is in, so no matter what, he will remember your birthday, the time you two had your first date, and your anniversary, making sure to give you something or take you somewhere on that day. Just as it is important to you, it’s important to Cove to celebrate the days you both start a new beginning with each other, even if it’s a small step like when you two first kissed. (A little HC is that on your birthday he had a small gift he gave to you when the two of you were alone, and it was an anklet in your favorite color.) If there is something you typically need as an everyday thing, such as a hug, compliment, kiss, or even simple good morning/goodnight texts, Cove will make sure to pick up on those habits and do them as much as possible.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Canonically, Cove often wipes his hands on his shorts, so multiple of his shorts have tiny stains on them. Staying on the food topic, Cove definitely is also a bit of a messy eater, leaving crumbs around his lips and on his shorts/pants after a meal. (Bonus points if you wipe it off for him.) (Bonus, BONUS points if you wipe a condiment off the side of his mouth and then lick it off your finger.) Cove also gives off naive vibes, so if you lie about something such as, "Cove, did you know that if you sneeze with your eyes open, they’ll pop out of your head?" Cove at first didn’t believe you, but the more he thought about it, the more he freaked out about it, and he now makes sure to always close his eyes.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) For the most part, Cove is pretty laid-back about his appearance, but he always makes sure he is wearing matching clothes. Somehow he never wears matching socks, but that’s beside the point. Something that he is a bit more strict about is his hair, though. He can spend roughly 10 minutes just trying to make his hair sweep around his cheeks properly because the night before he slept on it funny. He groans when it doesn’t look normal in the mirror after the first initial brushes, and then he increasingly feels the need to make it perfect before his dad or you usher him out of the bathroom.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) Nope. Plain and simple, if he ever lost (as in died), he would never be able to forgive himself if he ever moved on from you, and he would spend the rest of his life indulging in the things you liked and weren’t able to do yet. On a less intense note, though, he doesn’t like to go more than a week without speaking to you, especially when he goes to visit his mom. As you are his childhood best friend, you are probably—no, definitely—the most important thing in his life, regardless of whether the two of you end up dating. He often spends a lot of his time just thinking about you, if not hanging out with or talking to you. He has a life outside of you with other friends and his parents, but a lot of his life is surrounded by you, and he wouldn’t have it any other way because you’ve made such an impact on him.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) Cove is the type to overload you with different memes and tiktoks. Even if the two of you are sitting next to each other, he will either text you a tiktok or send it to your account and watch your reaction. At the end of the day, if you don’t avidly keep up with his messages, you’ll end up with around 30 messages—if not more from Cove just consisting of tiktoks that are the ones that say ‘Us’ and then a picture, or a tiktok of a random fact if you are a girl, and ask "IS THIS TRUE???" and then send a tiktok of a girl peeling her skin off, explaining that she needs to shed her old skin on her period.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) Canonically, Cove dislikes people who often push back plans or don’t follow through with them, such as pushing a date back multiple times because you wanted to hang out with your friends. He also dislikes people who won’t accept help and who are adamant about not accepting any sort of gift from him. He is the type to spoil his partner, and if you won’t accept any of his gifts, that will often put him down and make him uneasy. Something else that would irk Cove, since he is a bit of a messy person, is if his partner was someone super strict about cleaning or organization and pushed their rules onto him, he would be reluctant to date you, knowing his habits would make you frustrated and him too.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?) Cove love, love, loves to cuddle when he finally gets comfortable sleeping in the same bed/area with you. He ideally likes to cuddle where the two of you are facing each other or where one of you has your head in the other's chest while holding each other. If he is having a rough day, he definitely sleeps on his stomach and tends to shift positions a lot at night. He also has a habit of quietly snoring if you two do a lot in the day or after the two of you were intimate. Don’t ask me why, but Cove definitely is a blanket hog, but after you wake him up to have him give you some of the blankets, he will sleepily and excessively apologize.

A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?

Genji is simply quite sure that your eyes and hands are the most attractive attributes about you. See, you're entirely perfect from head to toe in his sight, but your hands are what provide him the purest caresses and are the opposite of his robotic ones that were once human like yours, and your eyes can express the most diverse emotions when close to him. Feeling the warmth of your palms run over his uncovered face and through his hair, the soft, gentle skin intertwining with the metal of his cybernetic parts while your eyes overflow with love is what makes Genji feel whole again.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

The youngest Shimada never thought of having a family of his own. Firstly, for all the pressure that the clan put on himself to participate in the family business with his older brother and second, for his lack of maturity and responsibility in his juvenile phase. And thirdly, the unpleasantness event he had with Hanzo that led to him being a cyborg shattered every paradigm he never considered. Initially, he thought: Who in their right mind would want to be in a relationship with an anomaly like him to the point of wanting to have a family? It sounded like a bad joke.

Now, more recently, Genji might think twice. He's a new version of himself, more stabilized thanks to Zenyatta and thanks to you too. Genji was good with children, although he still had certain insecurities, but you were always there to reassure him that if he was enough for you, then he would be enough for your children.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

Regarding cuddles, it can be said that Genji has some knowledge about. Remember his youth phase? Yeah. He doesn't consider himself very comfortable for cuddling because of his armor, yet he's a great relief on hot days but also can be a nightmare on the cold ones. So he'd much prefer that you cuddle him in return, with soft hugs he's sure to return, nice caress in his hair and authentic kisses on the scars on his face that make him feel special.

𝑫 = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

Dates with Genji are a balance between casuality and things/places you never imagined being in one day. A ride through the streets of Hanamura at the flower festival, games at the arcade and a good bowl of ramen at Rikimaru? Perfect. Now, a dinner at the highest point of Shimada Castle, with occasional sakura petals floating in the wind and all the beauty of the moonlight on just the two of you? Even better! Genji makes sure that you are enjoying every second of the moment, it already brings him a feeling of satisfaction and gratitude.

𝑬 = Everything (You are my ____ (𝒆.��. my life, my world…))

You are the ray of sunshine that uniquely illuminates Genji's life, the flower that will never wither, the peace and serenity he needs and, of course, you are everything to him.

𝑭 = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

At first, Genji always felt right by your side, since in no way you looked at him as a freak for being a cyborg and always treated him with kindness and respect. As you spent time together, whether on missions or simple occasions, the younger Shimada realized how much he enjoyed being by your side and when his master Zenyatta asked him about you, he always replied with a more excited tone of voice and if he was without his visor, he would show a smile on his face that overflowed with joy and wonder. With a little more time, Genji would soon pick up on his body's signals and wouldn't deny that his racing heart was nothing but passion.

𝑮 = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

I assure you, Genji is a river of kindness. He treats you with the greatest care and affection in the world, as if you were made of the purest and most delicate porcelain. This can irritate you sometimes if you are so wary about yourself. But if you don't, he'll make every point in the world that you're under his displays of affection.

𝑯 = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

As stated above, your hands are Genji's essential comfort, he certainly thinks that holding them forever would be a dream. When not wearing his visor, Genji has a habit of kissing the back and the knuckles of your hands, as a way of thanking you for loving him just the way he is and for bringing him different joys every day.

𝑰 = Impression (What was their first impression?)

Joining Overwatch, Genji's first impression was none other than a certain taste of admiration. It was a fresh start for what was once the greatest international peaceful organization, and to see people like you willing to make a difference in the world again was surely admirable. Genji admits that at first he was very quiet with you around, but little by little, he was opening up more and realizing that you were certainly an illustrious hero of Overwatch.

𝑱 = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

Genji doesn't consider himself to be the jealous type, especially with you. It may happen that he doesn't like how some person made a move that invades your private space, coming up with some suggestively strange tone of voice, but these are very rare exceptions in which this occurs because he's usually by your side most of the time.

𝑲 = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

With him already completely in love with you, Genji felt anxious to the extreme just thinking about the possibility of kissing you, and such anxiety made him act awkwardly beside you, but he remembered that calm and opportunities come above any nervousness. And the right time did came. 

Once you were engaged in a simple and friendly talking late at night in Gibraltar, as fast and accurate as an arrow, Genji interrupted you with a soft but needy kiss that was both unusual and comforting. The cyborg's scarred lips, though rough in texture, were soft and moved over yours slowly and lovingly. You better get ready, because after this one, more surprising and warm kisses will come.

𝑳 = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

It was definitely him, right after the first kiss. The way his hands affectionately ran over your face, how the affectionate words came out docile with his whispered and soft voice, made your inner being fervently warm up with such uttered kindnesses.

𝑴 = Memory (What’s their favorite memory together?)

Your first Halloween together! It's no secret that Genji is a born lover of the main festivity of the month of October, everything involving Halloween is the target of the cyborg's excitement, from decorating the house with cobwebs and other paraphernalia merely considered bizarre, distributing candy on the street to and with the children, to even choosing costumes. On that first year together, he let you be in charge of the costumes, and let's just say Genji was surprised — and a little bit bored — by your choice of Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask. Genji is willing to do anything to please you, no matter how small or big it would be. If there's something you want, then that something you'll have! Usually he presents you with basic jewelry, whether they are made of expensive materials or not — barrettes, earrings, bracelets, you name it. He also loves to surprise you with simple symbols like small wooden sculptures that he makes himself and even something of his own, like the time he gave you a small replica of his sword to use as a keyring.

You couldn't be more luminous and radiant in his eyes, clear and light colors like yellow and pink reminds him of the sunrise and that you are his particular sun.

Some of them are sun-related, such as: sunlight, sunshine, sunflower, but there's also koibito-chan, little dove; and the common ones: sweetheart, love, sweetie and honey.

Rainy days mean days of rest and many more opportunities for the two of you to be cuddling together, watching your favorite series and movies, playing some games and stuffing yourselves with goodies; in the end, when you're satisfied, a good amount of sleep ends the day perfectly.

These are the moments Genji hates the most. These waves of insecurities come and go sometimes, he knows how it is and with his emotional stability, he tries to push them away as much as he can, but it's not always something easy to achieve. It breaks his heart to see you with your head down, without your usual glow on your face and spontaneity in your eyes. Genji doesn't question anything, it's your moment, and the first thing he does is put his arms around you and lay your head on his chest, letting you vent or cry as much as you want, being a patient and understanding listener. He readily offers to make you something warm and cozy to eat and advises you to go and lie down in your shared bed. While you wait, Genji recommends going to watch something that comforts you and distracts your mind; with you in your fifteenth sleep, Genji joins you on the bed, once again wrapping you against his body and laying a light kiss against your temple.

Genji likes to share with you some stories from his time in Overwatch's golden age, even if that time wasn't the best of his life, he knows it was a starting point for his evolution as a person, so telling you about them requires patience and trust. On the other hand, he also loves to talk about the time he spent traveling all over the globe, getting to know different cultures, languages, people and also trying different types of food.

Being with you is relaxing in itself, but if he needs some time of his own, you will surely find him in the garden taking out any frustrations on aging tree trunks or restoring his calm through meditation.

As we all know, Genji is a prideful warrior. When you train together, he proves that his skillful way of battling is not by any case — and that 'case' usually leaves you exhausted at the end of the day. Not everyone in the world is capable of wielding a sword as well as Genji, let alone being as stealthy, silent, and dangerous with shurikens. A ninja in modern times can be rare and exclusive and this exclusivity is due to Genji.

𝑾 = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)

Genji loves you very much, so strong and immeasurable is this love that as your relationship grows and blossoms like a flower, re-unifying the intensity between the two of you is a viable option. This option being none other than getting married.

The concept of the idea might scare him a bit because there is a chance that you don't want to get married right now, after all it is a decision that is up to you alone and that needs to be taken with consensus — little does he know that the desire to get married also crosses your mind.

Genji then decided to face his nervousness and take the benefit of the doubt at once. While you were away, he found a way — with a little help from Kiriko and company — to leave the house with a dazzling romantic decoration and with his culinary skills to prepare your favorite dish, taking advantage of the hours of your absence to improvise a good speech.

Upon arriving home, what was your surprise to see the romantically decorated environment, soft music permeating the air, a table placed in the middle of the room and your docile boyfriend waiting for you. Genji adjusted his little bow tie with his fingertips and smiled a nice smile at you despite his palpable flutter.

After tasting the divine dish that the cyborg ninja prepared just for you, Genji cleared his throat. Attentively, you turned your gaze to him, whose jet-black irises were focused on a spot below his cervix. He looked up, beaming at you and vocalizing his ideals in his mellifluous voice.

SFW ABC: Mondo Owada 

Affection - How affectionate are they? How do they show affection? Do they do it often?  

It's mostly in private and it does take a while, but he can be affectionate. Given it's really with how he handles his darling like cuddling or just staying close to them. In public he doesn't do too much besides sometimes having an arm around them or his partner holding onto his arm (not hands though.)  

Baby - Do they want a family?  

At some point he wouldn't mind having at least one, maybe another one later but he wants to start with one…. Later, when everything is figured out and stable.  

Confession - How would they confess their love for their partner? What would be the moment they knew they loved you?  

His confession is loud but from the heart. even if he takes them to somewhere secluded there's a chance others will hear it. (It's just out of nerves.) There's two ways, one is that it grows slowly over time or a sort of love at sight type thing.  

Domestic - Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning and taking care of themselves?  

At some point he does want to start settling down with his partner. He can cook but it's either they do it together or his partner cooks. mostly out of being busy but if he has an off day and his partner is working then he will cook that night. He does clean up after himself so that's not a problem.   

Ending - If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?  

Given that it's most likely his first relationship it will be hard, but he will do what's best.  There's a good chance he and his partner would stay friends after though. (After some time apart, that is.)  

Fight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting? 

Now it depends on how bad the fights are but after a breather he would apologize, or he and his partner would both apologize. Now he does have a temper. We all know this so when he feels things starting to heat up, he will either step outside or go for a ride to calm down before either coming back to apologize or talk things out calmer. 

Gentle - How gentle are they with their partner?  

He tries so hard to be gentle with his partner. Behind closed doors after a while, it's easy but when out in public will… he's still somewhat gentle. Just a little right around the edges.   

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?  

He doesn't really see a need to hide anything so if his partner asks him something then he will answer truthfully. After a while he becomes an open book to his partner.  

Impression - What was their first impression of their future partner?  

It was either how kind or badass they were. Seeing how they were stuck with him enough to want to get to know them more.  

Jealousy - How jealous do they get? What do they do when they're jealous?  

He gets jealous very easily and he's not so good at hiding it. It will start off small like pulling his partner closer to him while glaring at the person then if that doesn't work or the person does try something he's not afraid to get in their face.   

Kiss - How do they kiss? What's their favorite type of kiss?  

Gentle but sloppy or rough and heated there is no between. He likes either one depending on the mood.   

Love language - What's their love language?  

Quality time and Physical touch, he loves spending time with his partner as much as he can since he's usually busy and sense words aren't always his great strength showing his love with touch is his go to.   

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How would they propose?  

Yes, it's an end goal for him plus it's something that starts popping into his mind after almost a year with his partner. It's maybe at a place that is dear to both him and his partner (like where they first meet or first date or even on an anniversary.) or maybe it happens casually out of nerves/silent panic (want to get married? Sure, why not…. wait are you serious?)  

Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?  

Either by their name or something simple like baby or sweetheart. Nothing too cutesy or cheesy.   

Open - When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?  

It takes him a while to start opening and it will start bit by bit.  

Parents - What would they be like as a parent?  

Somewhat overprotective but still give them their space. He will be there when they need him and will teach them how to ride a bike when they are old enough. (This is something that will be hard to get out of.) all in all 10/10 dad.  

Quizzes - How much do they remember about their s/o? do they remember every detail, or do they let details slip their mind?)  

Oddly enough he remembers a lot about his partner even if at the time he didn't seem that interesting. Even if it's something obscure or meaningless there's a good chance, he remembers it.  

Remember - What is their favorite moment in your relationship?  

The first time he and his partner shared a bed. Even if it was just simply sharing a bed together it just felt really…domestic. It was one of the moments that really made him start thinking about the future of their relationship. Would they always get to do this? Would it never happen at some point? Would they always be this close? (It was also one of the times marriages popped into his mind.)  

Security - How protective are they? how would they protect their s/o, and how would they like to be protected?  

He is super protective of his partner even if they were to be bigger and stronger than him or even just tell him that they can protect themselves he just can't help it. Other than his title and looks he can and will use his fists to protect them. He doesn't feel the need to be protected but if his partner tries it will make him both happy and annoyed. (I don't need you to protect me! But thank you.)  

Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice up your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?  

Not really his life is already exciting so doing more ordinary stuff with his partner is enough for him.  

Ugly - What would be some bad habits of theirs?  

Being loud and rugged, now he does work on his nervous habit of yelling/ being loud in general. especially if he sees it affect his partner negatively.  

Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it worth in comparison to other things in their life?  

His relationship with his partner is one of the most important things in his life. Now that he has finally found someone to be with, he's going to do everything in his power to keep it or make the time they have worthwhile.   

Wedding - what type of wedding would they want?  

A medium-sized wedding that isn't too fleshly then again is whatever his partner wants. Now this isn't to say he won't put his input in (it's his wedding too after all.) but if they want something more traditional or a bit out that he is open to it.  

X - A random Fluff Headcanon.  

He always likes to touch them in some way. With them hanging off him or him holding them close. It's also a part of his protectiveness towards them, always wanting to know where they are and if they are safe. He likes knowing that they are right there with him.  

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?  

when mondo is without his partner (especially in the later stages.) He gets this anxious that something may happen when he isn't around them. He also does start to text and call a bit more often the longer they are apart.   

ZZZ - How do they sleep? How does an s/o fit into their sleep habits?  

He doesn't really move all that much nor really makes any noise. He will always have his partner close with either having an arm around them (like spooning.) or they will be laying on top of him (or just laying their head on him.)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Lol I think it’s fairly clear from the asks answered, but Krow is quite affectionate. He does like to be physical, holding your hand and cuddling and all but if that isn’t your speed, then he’ll say more sweet things and words of comfort, and enjoys spending quality time with you and getting you things. Krow’s love language? All.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Krow would get more of a teasing air when he’s a best friend, likes to rile them up and instigate some play fight behavior with them (never anything actually serious) but he would still show his kind and sweet side. Krow himself is actually pretty quiet and introverted, keeping more to himself, so most likely it would be the other person that starts the friendship. If the other person is even more of a quiet introvert though, then Krow could start it!

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Oh yes he LOVES cuddles! Krow is a little stocky with some plush to his tummy, so it’d just feel nice to cuddle with him, to be held by him. Krow likes to be close and face you, burying his face into your shoulder or into your neck. He does enjoy being both the big and little spoon (considering his short stature though, he probably ends up being the little spoon more often jksebdfelksd) He likes to wrap his arms around your waist while cuddling, bury his face against your neck so all he smells is you. He does enjoy using you as a pillow.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

OH YES VERY MUCH. Krow’s dream is to have a family and that cute soft domestic life. He cooks quite well and does cleaning for a living, so he’d be very good at that. He’d be a very good house spouse, caring and attentive to Dove and the kid(s). There’ll be movie nights, he’ll help with homework, always greet and bid goodbye to Dove and the kid(s), fun family outings. Krow will do all in his power to have a happy, healthy domestic life.

… (: Ha ha. Krow’s still a yandere. You think he’s gonna break up with you? Silly Dove. <3

Krow will marry you Day 1 if you seriously propose to him sasmdnfladf But in all seriousness, Krow is VERY much fine and dandy to commitment, he very much wants to commit himself and his life to Dove, and of course would love it if Dove would do the same for him.

He tries his best to be gentle! He’s an artist of all kinds of mediums so he’s very dexterous and good with detail work, which he can use such skills when interacting with Dove. He can get jealous or angry easily but he really, really tries to make sure none of that is directed at Dove, and he apologizes when he accidentally hurts them somehow. He does enjoy giving soft kisses and gentle touches to Dove, and likes to hum to them while they’re relaxing at home. 

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Similar to cuddling, he loves hugs! He loves to be held by you and to hold you back. To nestle against you, breathe in your scent, feel your skin, your warmth. When hugging you, he’ll either put his arms up your back and towards your shoulders or hugs around your waist (it partly depends on how much taller you are than him). He does enjoy gently rubbing your back and if he can, cupping the back of your head and massaging your scalp. In Krow’s embrace, you just feel… secure, safe, loved. 

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Pretty quick lmao. He actually holds himself back from saying it too soon because he doesn’t want to weird you out/scare you off. But if you start getting more serious about flirting and all with him, he will tell you that he loves you soon after.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

Ha. Ha ha. Oh god. SO jealous. I mean, his eyes literally turn green with envy. WHAT he does depends on what triggers the jealousy. More mild, he just kind of huffs and glares at the offender, will get closer to you, hold your hand more. But if he’s REALLY jealous, he may even physically pull you away from whatever/whoever he is jealous of. If it’s a person, he’ll tell them to back off and leave the two of you alone. Might even pull you into a kiss to show that you two are A THING. Extreme cases he will give threats or even start a fight. Once he calms down though, he’d be really apologetic and… even a little confused on what happened, that he himself isn’t sure why he… reacted like that.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Part of that depends on how you want to kiss him! He’ll give you soft butterfly kisses, chaste kisses, gentle kisses. He’ll give more hot, steamy and passionate kisses (although those he still tries to be careful about his teeth pricking you.) He likes to kiss you eeeeeverywhere. The forehead, nose, cheeks, lips. He’ll kiss along down the nape of your neck, to your collarbone. The backs of your hands, fingers, shoulders. And well… he’ll kiss you in other places lol. And Krow is happy to be kissed anywhere! He’s pretty sensitive at his neck and hands though!

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Krow ADORES kids, and yes he very much would like some of his own (bio or adopted). He actually does help out kids at the park, or elsewhere, if they’re lost or hurt. His boss Luke has a young daughter that Krow babysits for, and he loves doing so. He loves interacting with them, talking to them, seeing them learn and play and grow up into their own people.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Krow’s morning routine usually involves: getting up, getting his hair brushed out and fixed up. Having some tea and breakfast (usually some kind of oatmeal but if he has any, then some fresh fruit, really loves mangos.) He’ll get his teeth brushed and flossed, get his face washed up. If there’s somewhere he needs to be, then he gets dressed and ready for the day, getting on his scooter to head off to where he needs to be. If not, he’ll stay home and work on art. It’s pretty similar when he’s with Dove, just that he’d make breakfast for them, brush out their hair (he loves playing with their hair) and stuff. (:

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights are just a reverse of mornings for Krow. Winding down with some relaxing tea, maybe a snack if he’s still a little peckish after dinner. He braids his hair and/or tucks it under a bonnet (although if he’s too tired he just let’s it be loose). Gets his teeth brushed, flossed, uses mouthwash. He’ll check his phone if there are any texts or missing calls he should see and possibly attend to. Otherwise he gets snug like a bug in bed.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It… depends. He’s happy to tell you about his interest in art and birds, that he’s non-binary, absolutely down to eat the rich and some other things. Some more personal matters however, such as his family, he keeps a closely guarded secret. It all varies on what exactly you ask him!

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

With Dove, Krow is ludicrously patient. Sure he may get upset at some things they say or do, but nothing really he wouldn’t forgive or brush off. You would have to very purposefully and repeatedly hurt him (badly) in specific ways for him to actually get angry with you. …Now other people, Krow has FAR less patience with. (:

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Krow has a very keen eye for detail and is quite meticulous normally, but when it comes to you, those traits are exaggerated. He’ll remember EXACTLY where your moles are, exactly how you like your tea or coffee, your hobbies. He’ll know things about you you didn’t THINK he knew, or perhaps you didn’t even know  about yourself.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

For Krow… probably the first time you talked to him, like REALLY talked to him, and striked up a conversation with him. Because that was the beginning of it all really, and it just led to many more beautiful, impactful moments.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

He’s a yandere so I mean… Krow is QUITE protective of you. Someone being an asshole to you at work, he’s immediately up and talking down the other person. Someone trying to harass you and touch you without your consent? Krow’s breaking their arm. (: Krow would say you don’t NEED to protect him, that he is quite capable. But he’d still be very flattered if you defended him at all. Like calling out someone if they make fun of him for his height, stutter, or hell, if they’re a racist bigot.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Oh my god does Krow try. He wants to make sure you have a good time so he’ll be going the extra mile in dates and anniversaries! Even with more mundane tasks, he’s very thoughtful. You never have to ask him to do the dishes or a load of laundry. He does his share and then some.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

He gets jealous and clingy VERY easily. You may consider it a bad habit of how he bites the crap out of his fingers and hands to the point of scarring them. He does bite his nails sometimes. You could consider him wearing his headphones ALL the time a bad habit.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Krow doesn’t care much about clothes or the like, but he DOES care about how clean he is. You will notice he always has a fresh scent to him and his hair is well kept, and that (despite the paint stains) his clothes are actually clean and smell nice. But otherwise, he isn’t particular about how he looks or dresses.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Ha. Ha ha. Oh yes.

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.)

Krow does sing along to the music he listens to while painting sometimes. He doesn’t really think so, but he has a pretty stellar deep singing voice. He could totally do some covers of songs for the internet.

Chicken Nuggets. In all seriousness, with Dove he is quite monogamous (it takes very certain and very special people for Krow to even consider being in a poly relationship with), and doesn’t like the idea of them just being friends with benefits or a simple fling. It’d be a little sad to him but he’s fine with the two of you being just platonic. More general things, he’s not a fan of… really bland, under seasoned (or unseasoned) food. White people cooking, he tends to call it. Krow is a fan of most forms of art, but he really isn’t… keen on certain modern works. Like a painting of just a blue square or even like Anish Kapoor’s “Bean” statue. But Krow hates artistic gate keeping even more, he won’t tell you what to like or not like when it comes to art.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?)

Krow tends to huddle and curl up when he’s sleeping alone, bundling up under the blankets, getting all nestled in good and cozy. When he’s with Dove, he snuggles up to them and will cling onto them the entire night.

A: affection. | are they affectionate? how do they show affection?

Katsuki is fairly affectionate when the two of you are alone together, which may be surprising to many. He enjoys physical contact with his partner, even if he's hard pressed to admit that aloud. He tends to be more handsy when he's sleepy, grasping for warmth and comfort, especially on chilly nights. In his day-to-day life, his affection can range from a quick kiss on the crown of your head when he passes by you in the halls, to cuddling sessions in either of your dorm rooms when it's just the two of you. Bakugo likes it when you visibly lower your guard around him, slink into his side, and rest your body against his. He's a sucker for you.

B: bizarre. | something strange they do or a weird quirk they have with or without their partner?

Katsuki refuses to put his weights away. He always insists that it's for quick and easy access to them, but you've discreetly chalked it up to laziness on his part. It's his dorm, so he can do whatever he wants, and you don't tend to complain; —but it would be nice to not have to trip over weights when you go to pay him a visit.

C: comfort. | are they good at comforting their partner? how do they do it?

Katsuki isn't a very good candidate if you need the type of comfort that is coddling or very empathetic. He doesn't exactly feel comfortable being open about emotions other than anger; and because of that, his means of comfort can seem a bit insensitive to some. However, if you're in need of some good advice and some solid tough love, he's not a bad option. Bakugo might not always word things the best, but he's a surprisingly adept listener, and it's easy to get lost ranting to him (especially when he makes no effort to cut you off.) If you just need to get some frustrations off your chest, he's great with that, though. He'll be sure to throw in affirmative comments and engage with your energy levels appropriately.

D: domestic. | how do they feel about settling down? do they cook/clean?

Katsuki feels he's way too young to think about settling down in that manner, so he avoids seriously considering it. Right now, his heart is set on becoming a hero, and you certainly don't want to be any sort of hindrance in that. Though, he has thought about a future where the two of you are older and more mature, still together, maybe living in a place of your own. As for cooking and cleaning, he can do both, albeit one much better and with less complaints than the other. He's not half bad in the kitchen, and he makes some pretty tasty dishes. Nothing too fancy, but it's always delicious, so the level of elegance really isn't of any concern. When it comes to cleaning, Bakugo isn't the biggest fan of it, but he'd rather clean than be in a dirty environment. He's a quick organizer, and he tends to be very good about cleaning up after himself (unless that involves putting his weights away, apparently.)

Katsuki would end the relationship in person, and it would be one of the few times you'd see him fully vulnerable; stripped bare to his core. He'd likely shed tears and offer up some form of apology but wouldn't ask to be friends. If he happened to see you in the future though, he wouldn't actively avoid you. He'd say hello and keep it lowkey, but his heart would ache inside.

Katsuki does think about the future sometimes, but he chooses not to put much weight into his fantasies. He'd like to share that future with you as long as you both get along well, so almost anything will be fine by him, really. It's not as if he'd want to live in a giant mansion or buy himself his own island, after all. He's fairly content with living a normal life aside from hero work. But, who knows, maybe those feelings will change one day, and Bakugo is open to said change.

Katsuki doesn't shower you with presents by any means, but he likes to spoil his partner every once in a while. A stuffed animal here, an oddly specific gift tailored perfectly to you and your interests there. . . It's only natural, he thinks, to want to give someone you love nice things.

Katsuki is honest, but does keep some things to himself. He's gotten better about being a more effective communicator, however, he still feels that not all things are meant to be shared. It's only natural that he would want to keep some feelings to himself, but he does tend to be honest about them a while after he's resolved them or learned how to make peace with them. Bakugo does his best to be open, although it can be a struggle at times. Be patient with him; he's not used to being so candid.

Katsuki feels and acknowledges it long before he says it but isn't incredibly unlikely to say it first. It could be a 50/50 chance depending on your personality, and even if you were to be the one to say it first, it wouldn't pull him off kilter. He would say it back confidently, heart beating a mile a minute. He wouldn't lose his composure, but on the inside, he'd be melting into a pile of lovesick goop.

Katsuki can be quite jealous at times, —not to any fully detrimental lengths, but it might work him up a tad more than normal. He doesn't like it when other guys eye you down as if you're some prize to be stolen away; like you're fresh meat and they're some kind of predator. His trust in you is solid and unwavering, but he doesn't trust others to keep their hands off. You can handle yourself, and Katsuki knows and acknowledges as much, but that wouldn't stop him from stepping in. Usually, his jealousy settles by the time you're alone with him again. A little bit of personal affection calms him down more than enough.

Katsuki likes all sorts of kisses, —it really just depends on the time, place, and sometimes his mood. Usually, anything goes as far as he's concerned. Still, he particularly enjoys mouth to mouth kisses where you'll let him nibble at your bottom lip a little. Bakugo also likes to press his lips to the crown of your head, and it often proves to be his most innocently affectionate gesture. As for receiving, again, typically anything goes depending on the time and place. He must admit though, he's impartial to shoulder kisses because they feel intimate to him, albeit not for any reason in particular.

Katsuki's favorite and least favorite part about being in the relationship is the emotional aspect of it all; —a double edged sword for him in every sense of the phrase. He really likes having someone to lean on, and he even likes it when you lean on him in return. Unfortunately, there are times when he just doesn't have the ability to give you what you might need, and there are times when he can't bring himself to accept what he needs either. He has a lot of emotional baggage that he doesn't want to dump all over you, but he wants to let you in. Katsuki's complicated emotional state and how it relates to you and your relationship with him is simultaneously one of his most favorite things about loving you, and something that brings him copious amounts of dread.

Katsuki isn't a happy-go-lucky kind of morning person, but that's to be expected. He's not really the happy-go-lucky type any time of the day anyway. When it comes to spending said mornings alongside you, he's pretty much the same as he always is; —if a bit clingier until he manages to wake himself up fully. At times, he can be a little grumpy if he doesn't sleep very well, but he's quick to move past it once he's pulled himself out of bed. Don't count on him to cook in the morning though. . . If you want breakfast, you'll either have to go out and drag him along with you or make something yourself.

Katsuki isn't a fan of the overly sweet, mushy type of pet names. He tends to settle for "babe" more often than not, but melds it down a bit more to "baby" when he's sulking over something, is looking for attention, or is feeling tired. He might call you "doll" every once in a while, and "sweetheart" isn't off the list completely, although it would be much rarer than the others.

Katsuki can be incredibly romantic. Suit and tie, candlelit dinner, dressing himself up and putting on his very best face for you. Pulling your seat out for you, bringing you flowers, —the whole package and more. It's usually for special occasions (like an anniversary or your birthday,) but that side of him certainly exists, and it's lovely to see every now and again. Plus, tuxedos look really good on him.

Katsuki isn't typically the biggest fan of public displays of affection, but he doesn't tend to mind smaller things after you've been in the relationship for a while. He'll place his hand on your thigh under the desks in class, will offer you a quick kiss on the crown of your head in the halls when he passes you by, and he's not opposed to holding your hand or throwing his arm around you in the lunchroom or something like that. More overt stuff, however, he would much prefer to keep behind closed doors.

Katsuki mumbles to himself a lot, a habit that he's had since the day you met him. It's not something you pay much mind to anymore considering how normal it feels, but it's cute nonetheless.

Katsuki can be fairly argumentative. He's stubborn and he doesn't like to be wrong. However, he's definitely come a long way and has since made active efforts to communicate his feelings and issues more appropriately and effectively. Bakugo isn't perfect, —he can be loud, and sometimes he says things he doesn't mean in the heat of the moment. Even so, he's gotten a lot better about such things and you have no doubt he'll continue to grow. He apologizes when it's needed, accepts apologies you offer fairly easily, goes out of his way to fix issues before they really begin, and though he's far from perfect, so are you, and you've accepted that you're each just doing the best you can for one another.

S: sensitive. | what’s a sore spot for them that their partner should steer clear of?

Katsuki doesn't want to talk about his relationship with Midoriya. It's complicated, and there's a lot of feelings there that he still hasn't worked through. They know one another better than anyone else does, but the bitter air of rivalry that hangs between them (mostly from Bakugo's end) is a sore spot. He'll open up about it eventually, but it's best to leave that subject be until he comes to you about it first.

Katsuki doesn't mind some surprises every now and again, but routine is good for him for the most part. He's not quite accustomed to relationships yet, and because of that, he often lacks a sense of full security. Some excitement here and there may do him well, but the majority of the time, Bakugo would prefer consistency. His hero training gives him more than enough thrill to survive on anyway, even if he likes to pretend that it's all a piece of cake.

U: unacceptable. | what is something they cannot tolerate in a relationship? what is something they would never do?

Katsuki could not be in a relationship with someone who purposely pushes his buttons. He's easy to set off, and if his partner were to consistently take advantage of that for amusement, he would have to remove himself from that situation. Just as well, Katsuki would never purposefully neglect his lover's needs, even if he were angry with them. He knows what it's like to be left alone to shoulder what feels like the weight of the world, and he can't see himself ever subjecting his significant other to anything of the sort.

V: vanity. | how concerned are they about their looks? are they insecure about them?

Katsuki thinks he's pretty damn attractive. He doesn't put too much weight into his appearance, —but he's not insecure about his looks and he doesn't really care what anyone else has to say about them. If they don't like how he looks, they can put their eyes somewhere else, and that's that. Still, Bakugo isn't exactly vain. Confident, sure, but when it comes to his appearance, he's not one to gloat for the most part. He's more apt to flaunt his strength than anything else.

Katsuki likes being massaged, —specifically by you. Hero training is by no means easy work, so he often finds himself feeling stiff or sore in certain areas. Offer him a massage every now and again, especially for his shoulders. (Throw in a few kisses to the very same area and he'll be putty in your hands for the rest of the evening.)

Katsuki's level of affection fluctuates. Some days, he's all but wrapped around your finger, —wanting to stay in bed and just feel your warmth seep into him. Other times, Bakugo would like more space and less contact, but still appreciates affection in passing. Something small every day is his minimum, but on a typical day, he'll offer up a few types of kisses, maybe a hug or two, and will hold your hand for a while. He doesn't mind initiating, but if you'd like more than what he's given on a certain day, test the waters a bit and if he proves to be receptive, dive in headfirst. He likes to offer up the things you want.

Y: yearning. | how do they feel when their partner is away?

Katsuki is fine by himself, but does miss you a great deal. He likely won't express that aloud, but it's not hard to figure out if you know him. When his mind drifts, it drifts to you, and he'll be sure to send you a text or give you a call to check in. Hearing your voice over the phone is enough to stave him off, but he's really happy when you're back; even if he tries to play it cool.

Katsuki hogs the bed whether you're with him or not, but he tries to temper himself when you spend the night. He likes it when you cling to him, and sleeps with no blankets when you do because he gets enough warmth from your body. When he's alone, he sleeps however feels most comfortable at any given time. He takes advantage of the open space and sprawls himself out most of the time.

kind and caring. it takes Talia a long time to make friends and she is very shy so you would have to go up to her first and gain her trust along the way. if you want to invite her somewhere it might take a few tries before she agrees

once you are best friends with Talia you will find that she is kind and caring and the sweetest person in the galaxy. she will also try to hold onto her friendships as long as possible because she will be devastated if you leave the friendship. it gives her severe anxiety and she also has abandoment issues that she's had since she was eleven years old

if it's with someone she loves then she loves cuddling with a passion. she will trap you in a death grip and you will literally have to pry her off of you. That's why she enjoys cuddle piles with the Wolfpack so much

remembering from her childhood how happy her parents were she would enjoy being committed to someone but if it's not meant to be then she doesn't see a future with the person.

Talia isn't in a hurry to find someone and get married right away. she likes to take her time and get to know the person. if the discussion of marriage comes up she will definitely talk about her dreams but again if it's not meant to be and the topic doesn't come up then she doesn't see any type of future. she also wouldn't know what she would want if there was a wedding but it would most likely be a simple one

Xiao isn't the most affectionate person when it comes to words or physical touch; however, he does show that he cares in small, subtle ways. He leaves notes for you to find with little messages reminding you to take care of yourself in various ways, and if you happen to find a flower on your pillow at night; you never have to ask who it's from. He also checks up on you throughout the day, just to make sure you're doing alright. Most times, you don't notice him, though.

B: bizarre. | something strange they do or a weird quirk they have with or without their partner?

Xiao pops in at random times with little to no warning. It's not exactly weird given who he is, but it startles you more often than not, even when you're happy to see him. It's endearing, but it can be a little frightening sometimes, —especially at night. You always joke about how he has an aversion to using doors.

Xiao isn't really the person to turn to if you're looking for a big, warm hug or a flurry of compliments in order to lift your spirits. However, there's something very genuine about his frank and honest nature, and if you're looking for unbiased advice or help solving a problem, you'll probably never need to turn to anyone else. Xiao is also a very, very good listener, and even though he might not say much when you're done, you'll often feel better just having known he listened so intently.

D: domestic. | how do they feel about settling down? do they cook/clean?

Xiao has mixed feelings about the idea of settling down with anyone and likely wouldn't do so in a traditional sense. He's perfectly sold on the idea of loving you until the sun swallows all of Teyvat, but he's not really the type to be a full-time househusband. He values his independence and his freedom for many reasons, and also has lots of duties to fulfill. In regard to cooking, Xiao doesn't do it much, and the same goes for cleaning simply because he doesn't make messes to clean. If he ever does though, he'll pick up after himself; but he would expect the same of you most times.

Xiao would end the relationship in person with a genuine explanation but wouldn't show much emotion upfront. Being so emotionally reserved, he would cope with the loss on his own time and probably wouldn't go out of his way to stay in contact after the relationship ends. He would still care about you though and would check up on you every now and again to make sure you're getting along okay.

Xiao thinks about the future sometimes but doesn't like to put too much stock into fantasies. He prefers to live one day at a time and encourages you to do the same as to not overwhelm yourself with expectations that might have to change depending on ever-evolving circumstances. He'd like to live a relatively simple and peaceful life with you, however, —as peaceful as you can get when you're in his line of work, anyway.

Xiao's main love language is gift giving, alongside acts of service. He gives you many gifts, from fragrant flowers, to shimmering gemstones, to beautiful seashells that whisper secrets from the ocean's depths. You have many such things from him, and he shows no signs of stopping anytime soon.

Xiao keeps secrets, but gives you all the necessary information you need. He doesn't like to be pressured into talking about things, but he's not aloof enough to not know that you'll want to be aware of certain things. Honesty is important to him as well, and he is as truthful as he can be without actively making you worry for him. He also doesn't mind giving you some reassurance if you ask questions every now and again.

Xiao does not say those words easily or often. In fact, it's rare for him to do so, and he absolutely wouldn't be the one to say it first. He probably wouldn't even say it back. The words "I love you" intimidate him in ways no enemy ever could, and it takes him a long time to be comfortable enough to say it for the very first time. Be patient with him.

Xiao is by no means the jealous type. It would take a lot to make him jealous in any way, and even if he did feel it, he'd likely nip it in the bud right away considering how blunt and straightforward he is. Xiao likes things slow and sweet. He's not used to being in romantic relationships, so when it comes to kisses, he can be easily overwhelmed by harshness or intense passion. Xiao technically has no need for sleep, although he can choose to do so if he wants. He does so at your request every now and again, but otherwise doesn't care for it and doesn't do so of his own accord. Because of this, it's a tossup as to whether or not he'll be around in the morning. When he is, it can be a little awkward at first unless you start the conversation and say good morning to him. Still, it's nice to have him there since he means so much to you, and starting the day seeing the person you love is never a bad thing!

Xiao calls you by your name and isn't fond of nicknames/pet names.

Xiao likes receiving massages. Not that he inherently needs them, he just likes it when you give them to him because it shows him that you care, and he likes the way they feel, especially after a long day. They're usually no more than ten or so minutes, but he loves them, especially when your fingers knead into his shoulders.

Xiao does not do public displays of affection. He is a reserved person in all areas of his life, and his relationship with you is no different.

Xiao admires many aspects of nature and always wears a fond expression when gazing at things like changing leaves, sunsets, and full moons. You think it's sweet.

Xiao is not the type to argue, but he's by no means passive. Rather, he's intensely stubborn, even if his resolve is mostly silent. Still, when it comes to you, Xiao is fairly open-minded (or at least tries to be,) and he seeks to solve issues by explaining his points of view and then hearing you out on yours. If he gets upset, you'll likely be subjected to a few days of the silent treatment, but he won't completely stop coming around. He'll check in on you and make sure you see him, and it'll be on you to open the dialogue back up for the most part. Thankfully, Xiao is not above being wrong and admits to his faults, making it easier to own up to your own mistakes and try again.

Xiao is sensitive about the past, and understandably so. Xiao wouldn't be able to handle a relationship where his boundaries were constantly pushed and prodded at. He can handle a lot, but when he chooses someone to give his love to, he expects that that person would actively respect him when he shows signs of needing space, of needing that emotional or physical distance in order to regain his composure. He would be okay with clinginess every now and again, and might even find that endearing from time to time, —but being so unaccustomed to it, that couldn't be the default for his life. All he asks is that you mind his limits, and if that couldn't happen, he'd have to part ways from the relationship altogether.

Xiao is by no means vain and puts little to no stock in his appearance. He doesn't really care either way. It's an unimportant detail to him. Still, he doesn't mind compliments from you about his appearance. He's found it feels surprisingly nice to be called cute every now and again.

Xiao likes to be hugged. Not very often, and he won't tend to ask for it, but if you could spare him just a quick, warm hug every now and again, he'd melt into your touch like the wax of a candle under a burning flame.

Xiao isn't often the one to initiate physical contact, but he has signs that you've picked up on over time that let you know when he'd like some physical affection. Xiao has always been okay alone, and in your absence, he's fine. Even so, his feelings do get in the way sometimes, especially when he sees something that reminds him of you. Xiao rarely sleeps without you. He has no biological need for it, so he views sleep as mostly a pleasantry he does from time to time when you request it of him. If he sleeps alone, it's almost always because he's worn himself down or pushed himself too much at once, and even then, it's shallow and only lasts for a few hours. If he's sleeping with you, however, he tends to sleep better and relaxes into it more. He lets you decide the position, but has taken a particular liking to laying on his side with your back tucked against his front, holding you in his arms.
