okay so it goes like this. christophers mom leaves him, comes back, and dies. then, he gets caught in a tsunami and buck holds him all the way through it until he cant anymore, and finds him again, and then buck disappears and chris starts having nightmares about his mom being in the tsunami, until buck comes back and we hear no mention of these nightmares again. and then years later chris is comforting buck over the death of a parent.

Her being kind to him in light of him knowing this #Catapulting his mind back to the person 'he used to be' and how hard he has tried to shake that choice he made all those years ago.#How hard he has tried to redeem all of that for it to come crashing back in the form of his rookie who was trying to protect him.#Because she's supposed to be different from him. She's supposed to be better. And he's mad at her for making the same choice.#But he's also mad at himself. Because he's supposed to be better and he's supposed to be different now.#Even though he isn't all that different. He was falsifying reports to protect Isabel.#He's supposed to be training her to be better and she made the same choice he made.#So his course of action is to rev up the training some more. Maybe he was too soft and lenient with her towards the end of s1 #and he lost sight of his training methods and how rules matter.#but he also lowered his walls and was vulnerable with her. He let her in.#And he's going to keep letting her in despite how much he tries to resist.#with every act of kindness she shows him... the walls break down and soften a little #until all that remains is Tim's unwavering tenderness for Lucy.#that only seems to grow more in her presence and influence.

#john winchester grief stricken and teary eyes 90% of the time after mary died.#goes to weird places and does allat weird stuff. keeps a weirdass journal #one time his neighbours called child protection services and filed a complaint against him #sometimes a baby cries all night long. cuz john ran out of baby food and he forgot to buy new one and there's the older one who barely talk #john who tries his best to stop baby sam from crying. but he gets frustrated. he tries to recall what mary used to do to calm him down #john tries to rock him back and forth. bounces him on his arms. plays with him but none of them work #as a last resort he dips his fingers in the glass where he poured some beer earlier and holds it in sam's mouth #the baby stops crying and falls asleep after some time and then john breaks. he's shaking and crying and he's having hiccups #cuz what kind of a father does that. he doesn't deserve to be a father let alone dad #dean wakes up a lil later on hearing his dad's muffled cries and comforts his dad and says “it's okay dad. it'll be okay”#when sam was a little older and john would come back from a hunt sam would run to him and reach out his hands and ask for uppies #and in the mornings when john would get ready for a part time job he took at the garage sam would hug john's legs and won't let go #im not crying you are. whatever. the relationship between raw grief-stricken john and baby sam is soooo important to mee #sam winchester #john winchester #samjohn

i have been listening to quite a bit of U2 today and now the age old question of "which member is actually my fave?" has resurfaced

#text #i really like all of them #though i never had a particularly strong Thing for larry (im sorry larry)#larry is the backbone of who they are and i really appreciate him a lot #and i love his attitude #but right now i am kinda going back and forth between edge and adam #i think adam is my current fave because he is just so chill #he has such a natural elegance to him #and he is such a gentleman #he also came up to me after i played on stage with them and was shaking like a leaf the moment adrenalin kicked my butt #and he told me that i did great and reassured me with his gentle aura and we hugged #i just really love the balanced at peace energy he has #edge is the sonic architect of the band!!!!#and i just think he is So Incredibly funny #(and he was also kind by teaching me the chords 😭)#bono is just.....#he is A Lot and loving him is like trying to idk stand in the middle of hurricane winds #it can be difficult to hold onto him without needing a bit of a breather every now and then #but he is very loveable and he has his heart in the right place #even if the execution is not always... great #and i have never met someone who could read people so well as he can #and i love how he uses that to just give everyone memorable experiences #such a natural showman and people person i suppose #he can center you out in a crowd of dozens of people screaming for his attention and give you that personal moment #... yeah im having U2 feelings #not in the way that i feel an intense moment of hyperfixation on them brewing #it mostly feels like visiting an old friend
