I'm curious, how does Arceus walk, if she can't float?
(( KIND OF A BORING ANSWER BUT!!
She usually just straight up drags herself around a lot.
She CAN technically lift up her entire back and up into the air... as well as kind of like...
"cobra" up her upper half to lift up like how a cobra (or really how any snake rises up).
But she doesn't do it often. There isn't much need to really!
Technically she still has around 10% of her power.. so if you like. Gave her a Psychic Typing plate she could probably use powers to lift herself up..
But she doesn't see the need to!
She is perfectly fine dragging/"slithering" around all on her own.
But of course, the various other legendaries around will often lift her up to "assist" or "help". She doesn't really need the help, nor does she ever ask for it... but sometimes you just wanna help mama out!!
the various kitties are very guilty of this. Mew's silly nature comes into play a lot. They probably all try to secretly lift her up and take bets to see how long it takes her to notice.
(She always notices instantly, but sometimes she'll play along to make the kitties happy)
KIND OF A BORING ANSWER I KNOW but still lmaO ))

Since the dental Tribble has been on a strict no kibble, no crunchy, no chewing diet. (In a week or so she'll be allowed to use her teeth again a bit more, but no one wants to see a dog get dry socket.) Spouse feels that canned dog food (perpetually on hand to make into pupsickles) is not experienced as filling enough, and we do know that Tribble has done better on grain inclusive foods for the past decade, so... the rice cooker has been simmering with chicken stock rice too bulk out the canned food all week, and Matilda and Benton have both gotten a fair bit of overflow rice as a treat.
Unconnectedly, tonight happens to be my first night alone as the sole human all evening in quite a few months. Matilda has been doing her job of enforcing bed, of course, but I can also rely on other humans to help make routine happen if she's too tired to be on it.
If I was worried that Tilly hadn't worked out her evening routine enforcement functions before now, I shouldn't have been. I don't think I've ever seen a dog so excited to move the evening along towards the part where dinner and the good cookies are.

Confronting the unfortunate reality that George has no problem sexualizing Arya and his comments indicate it might be ramped up in TWOW. There's the Mercy sample chapter as a whole which is just....yeah, his comments about writing characters older than they are (which he was already doing with Arya so the clarification is worrying), his comments about her flowering/hitting puberty :(, and the fact that he's been doing it since pretty early in the story for her. The threat of rape has been hanging over her since the ending of AGOT, she gets even more direct violent threats of that nature in ACOK, and there are several instances in ASOS where older men make passes at her including greenbeard "joking" about marrying her, that nasty old man hitting on her at the peach, and one of the sailors saying she could be a cabin girl and sleep with him (also if I remember correctly in AFFC another sailor offers to teach her how a "woman" kisses). It's just overall a very uncomfortable subject and Arya's young age makes it feel even worse (though that this is one of the areas where George receives the most criticism, which is appreciated).
Obviously, we aren't really going to know until the story comes out but it definitely is one of the things I'm worried about.

really just saw a post from a family friend dog breeder saying "If your dog is afraid of fireworks, you're a failure as a pet owner and shouldn't have a dog" ... huh. yeah ok, I'll rehome my chihuahua because she shakes a little over the strange sky noises no matter how much I try to desensitize. I'll get right on that.

Oh my god I LOVE how you characterize noisette!! The tail wags from the two of them were adorable!!!
(Hehe thank you!!! I have many thoughts on Noisette, and there will be much more to come! (She features in the next post a lot too!!!)
And thank you again! Oddly enough, Pep's tail was much easier to make wag than Noisette's! Hers kinda disconnects from her spine for a frame, but I haven't animated short tails as much as long ones! But I am sure there will be more tails to waggle, hehehe)

Platonically adore my psych for a number of reasons but a big one is that her whole practice is committed do de-colonising and stripping anglo christian values from therapy. Discussions on violent urges and guilt below the read more
So in my last session when I was like "I know I am a bad person because I solved most of my problems growing up with violence and genuinely enjoyed doing so what if I'm the next jack the ripper no one should enjoy violence" and my psych just uno reverse cards me and goes "Nah fuck that, all the examples of you hurting people are in situations where you were actively defending another person, often a minority, and gave warnings before attacking. Its bullshit that people are 'allowed' to hurt you but if you hurt them back you're suddenly the monster. Fuck that. You had your power stripped away and found a way to get it back, of course that felt good" and then we spent the last like ten minutes flipping between being nostalgic about past fights and talking about subjects like the military, police brutality and the way the western world moralists and demonised violence from any individual or group other than the ones that support the oppressive status quo

Movik-Taar: Future proprietor of a very popular natural hot spring spa & inn on Vulcan. Husband of T’Meni-bu, Sek’s daughter. He’s self-conscious about his hair loss.
Movik is a braggart, a bit of a lia- exaggerator and a gigantic coward and T’Meni-bu knows that yet earnestly thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread. I’d say she’s that ‘If I had a lame boyfriend-’ post but she genuinely doesn’t think he’s lame and would be defensive if you said he was. Sek thinks Movik is odious but tries to take solace in the fact that T’Meni finds him extremely pleasant.
T’Meni and Movik were married before either of their pon farrs because T’Meni wanted to and both families saw no reason to delay if that was her wish. Movik wore a toupee to the wedding and was hesitant to take it off in front of her but when he did she just seemed weirdly charmed.
Movik has a Vulcan parental unit (mother, father) who sired him and another father who is Bolian. He has a Bolian younger sister who’s around elementary school aged.
He has a tendency to exaggerate his accomplishments but often quickly backpedals into the truth. He isn’t a malicious person and is actually a bit of a push over. Said he was going into Starfleet most of his life but when he was the age to apply he suddenly said he was going to take over his family’s inn instead.
T’Meni is very bad at doing actual work in the inn but very good at guest relations and trends which makes the inn even more popular. Movik showers her with attention and gifts so she’s perfectly content. Movik thinks she’s an extremely capable, intelligent person (an excellent match!!) and the two are absolutely insufferable together the way close couples are <3
