What if you made a part 2 of “do you wanna be friends?” where ken starts falling for the reader after Barbie shuts Ken down like at the end of the movie. Reader realizes her own worth and how her tears aren’t worth it for ken and plot twist gets with Allan after he helps her with her feelings🫢
Ooough yes ;w;
Note this is definitely longer than part 1 but trust me I had a lot of ideas for this so enjoy the angst <3
Part 1 is here!
.......
In the days following your talk with Ken on the beach, things in Barbieland have....gradually turned upside-down.
He went to the Real World with Barbie after you convinced him to go after her, but you never expected him to come back with something called "patriarchy" and use it to destroy nearly everything the women have built up here.
According to him and the few books he brought, men and horses ran the show instead--and that's how it should be in this world, too.
At first, you had no idea how quickly things escalated as he explained these things to the other dolls...until suddenly the Barbies no longer had their own agencies, jobs, or livelihoods, instead dedicating all of that to their Kens.
Of course you didn't succumb to the brainwashing, and once you realized what was happening, you made it clear to Ken you wanted no part of it. You tried talking some sense into him, insisting that this wasn't just the "reverse" of how the Barbies treated them.
It was cruel and outright degrading.
Yet he didn't seem to care, shrugging off your concerns. It's like he turned into an entirely different person, no longer being that awkward lovestruck fool who'd ramble about his girlfriend's personality and charm to you day and night.
Instead, he started talking about her "hotness" and how any Barbie would've been lucky to have him, with his fellow Kens laughing in the background and nodding along to everything he was saying.
But they only fell silent when you snapped, saying no doll in the world would love him if he was going to act like this forever, before storming away and going home.
It's there where you finally let your tears out, feeling ache in your plastic heart for all sorts of reasons--among them being why you were stupid enough to still love Ken and why you felt so guilty for getting angry at him.
Even now, part of you was still clinging to the small hope that he would've understood your song and what you were trying to convey to him..
Obviously, he didn't.
Why would he?
All he could ever think about was Barbie, while you forced yourself to stand on the sidelines and support his efforts to impress her.
Well, you couldn't support him this time. Not in this "Kendom".
When Allan came to your door, trying to find refuge from the Kens and their endless demands for massages, you let him inside. And that's where you two sat on your (non-leather) couch and talked for a while.
Despite being proclaimed his "buddy", the two never hung out much, although at this point he didn't seem to care about that anymore. He too was fed up with everything going on and asked why you were wasting your tears on a jerk like him.
You got defensive at first, wanting to say that Ken isn't a jerk.
But then you realized that what he said was actually...really smart.
It's something you'd expect to hear from a Barbie, not an Allan. But he made a valid point.
Why should you waste your tears on a guy like that? Who can't see that you've been there for him all along?
He wasn't worth breaking your heart over.
So you ultimately resolved to leave Kendom together, stowing away in the backseat of Barbie's car--which was now in the control of the humans she brought back with her. You weren't sure where she was, but you believed getting out of here was more important.
No one in the Real World would care if an Allan and a [y/n] were roaming around.
Yet one scuffle with Construction Worker Kens later....you four were at Weird Barbie's house, helping Barbie out of her depression and coordinating a plan to take back your home, no longer wanting to run away.
You worked hard to help deprogram the Barbies, freeing them from Ken's tyranny before enacting the final step: turning him and his fellow dolls against each other.
Before long, Barbieland was somewhat restored to its former glory, with the ladies' ruling being reinstated and them promising to give the Kens more recognition.
Barbie and Ken eventually made their amends, too, before she chose to depart for the Real World permanently, believing she no longer felt at home here.
It was a bittersweet goodbye, and once she was gone, you consoled Allan, who was overwhelmed by all of the recent events that have taken place. He helped save Barbieland, too, and you made sure the Madame President didn't forget that and ignore him again.
Fortunately, the Barbies were in agreement this time, inviting him to help with the rest of the cleanup--to which he giddily scrambled to find the nearest broom and get right to work.
You smiled, feeling a little bit proud of yourself for being his number one advocate.
When you turned around, however, you noticed Ken lingering near the pink slide by Barbie's dreamhouse. He was just standing there all alone, hands stuffed into his hoodie pocket, still wearing the lightning bandanna.
Your anger from before had dwindled significantly, especially since you all heard his confession and realized he literally didn't know how to see past Barbie. Now you understood him a little better, and so you decided to approach him as a friend again.
"Hey, Ken. How you feeling?"
He looked up in surprise. Although he seemed exhausted, with his face stained with dry tear tracks, his smile was genuine. "Oh hey, [y/n]. I'm...still feeling kinda sad, but at the same time I feel...good? I dunno. It's weird."
"I understand." You nodded sympathetically
Sniffling, his gaze flickered back down to the ground. "Guess I should've listened to you more, huh?"
"It's okay." A reassuring smile graced your lips as you patted his arm in comfort. "She had to be the one to tell you, not me."
"Right...so um..."
"What's up?"
"Could I...maybe come over to your house later?" He quietly asked, crossing both of his fingers out of habit, although he glanced up and noticed your expression, quickly uncrossing them. "I-I mean not like that...not a sleepover or anything. I just...feel like we need to talk through some stuff."
"Oh...I think so, too." You relaxed, glad that he was finally gaining some maturity. "I'll see you tonight?"
His smile grew a little. "See you tonight."
..........
After the sun set over Barbieland once again, you had finished changing into your pajamas, unsure of whether Ken remembered to come over or if he decided to back out last minute.
You couldn't blame him if he suddenly didn't feel up to talking to anybody after all that's happened today. He probably needed some time alone to process things.
If he was ready, surely he'll let you know.
Yet you heard the doorbell ring while fine-tuning the strings of your guitar. You set it down on the table carefully before going to answer the door.
Much to your surprise (and bewilderment) it was Ken, all-dolled up in a nice sparkling vest and dress shirt. His hair was neatly combed, the bandanna and horseshoe chain necklace no longer anywhere to be seen.
"Hi, [y/n]...may I come in?" He awkwardly shuffled in place, clearly hiding something behind his back that he didn't want you to see for some reason.
"Sure. Nice outfit, by the way." You invited him in, now feeling a bit awkward yourself: here you were in cozy pjs, while your best friend looked ready for a night on the town.
Deep down, you began to worry about where this was heading, given the way he dressed up and seemed rather nervous, but you decided not to assume anything too quickly.
"Thanks." A light blush rose to his cheeks. "I wanted to look my absolute best for you."
"..for me?" You blinked. "I mean..this is a huge step-up from that mink coat, but I wasn't planning on going out anywhere. We were just gonna talk-"
"About our future together."
"...I'm sorry?"
"Our future together." He repeated, revealing the surprise to you: a small bouquet of plastic flowers with your favorite colors. "I've decided that...I'm ready to be your boyfriend, i-if you still want me."
You had to take a step back, eyes wide in shock. "Ken--are you.....is this a joke?"
"It's not a joke. I remembered that song you were playing on the beach. You wanted to be more than just friends...but you were scared to tell me because you didn't wanna ruin what we already had. That's what it was about, right?"
Freezing in place, you were now completely tongue-tied as you fumbled to generate some kind of excuse. You didn't think he'd actually hear any of those lyrics or even understand them.
"I-It's....yes, it's a song about unrequited love. But that's all it is, Ken. Just a random song I so happened to know. It doesn't mean anything-"
"It meant something to you, though. You were speaking to me through that song, and I was too stupid to realize it before. But I get it now! I understand!" With a childish grin he offered the flowers to you once more. "That was your confession, and I'm here to say that I accept it! I'm ready to be more than friends."
"...look, I'm glad you understand now. But.." Pausing, you took the flowers and set them on a nearby table, watching as his expression gradually faltered. "You and Barbie literally broke up hours ago. Don't you remember what she said?"
".....I-I didn't forget." The blond stood rigid, trying his best to keep his composure. "I'm not my girlfriend or any of that crap. I thought I could only love her, but I was wrong. And I'm okay with that. I'm ready to move on and be with the person who I should've been paying more attention to."
Stepping closer, he took your hands into his own, a pleading gaze sweeping across his face. "That's you, [y/n]. I know I was an idiot to ignore your feelings...and an even bigger idiot for bringing patriarchy here, but..I promise I'll do better. I'll be better."
"Ken, this isn't-" You attempted to speak, but he was already rambling about the endless possibilities that awaited this relationship.
"If you want, you can play the guitar at me and I'll play mine right back!"
"That's not what I-"
"I promise I won't play Push this time. I've learned way cooler songs since then and I can show them all to you."
"Ken, just listen to-"
"Oh! We can teach each other different songs, or-!"
"The answer's NO, Ken." You raised your voice in a small fit of frustration and impatience.
Those words came out harsher than you intended, but the damage was done, as he flinched and took his hands away, holding them to his chest with wide eyes.
"No as in...y-you don't wanna play the guitar with me?" His voice began to tremble.
"I mean "no" as in..." You hesitated, knowing you were about to break his heart and regret it. But you had to give him the truth. "Look, you can't just...suddenly decide you wanna be with me just because Barbie left the picture. That's not how this works. I'm not her replacement. I'm not her, and I can never be her."
"N-No, that's..." Tears began pooling in his eyes, scrambling to find a way to salvage this situation. "That's not what I meant at all! I-I'm not looking for any replacement! You sang your heart out to me, and-"
"That was back when I was naive and afraid to speak up for myself. I've changed since, Ken. Now I know my worth."
He was confused by what you meant by that, but before he could respond, he heard another male doll's voice speak up.
Not a Ken, but an Allan.
"I-I helped them realize that, of course!"
"...Allan? Buddy?" Blinking away his tears, he noticed the auburn-haired doll coming down the stairs. He was so incredibly lost as he glanced between you both, although he eventually connected the dots. "Wait, [y/n]...is he...?"
"Hold on, you didn't tell him yet??" Allan muttered to you, growing tense when you sent a slightly annoyed expression his way.
"I was getting there, but...." You stopped, looking back at Ken to see the devastation written all over his face. "Yes, Allan and I are a thing now. I'm sorry you had to find out this way, but he helped me through a lot of stuff and...I realized my heart was in the wrong place. It's with him."
"...o-oh, I...I see now. And when did this...?"
"Two hours ago, after we finished cleaning the cul-de-sac."
He felt his heart shatter into a billion plastic pieces at this news. It took all his strength not to immediately bawl his eyes out; he wasn't even sure if he had any more tears left to cry.
This stung ten times worse than Barbie rejecting him in favor of Girls' Night. But deep down he knew that he only had himself to blame.
Why did he choose to fall for you after the fact he hurt you?
"Look, I know this must absolutely suck. But..you screwed up a lot, man." Allan shook his head, a slight frown on his face. "You can't expect [y/n] to forgive you like nothing ever-"
"I do forgive him." You gently corrected him, before glancing back at Ken once more. "I forgive you. You were made to love her, and you were frustrated she didn't feel the same. That's Mattel's fault. But...you clearly haven't moved past this yet, and you're never going to if you keep giving your heart away. You need time for yourself..not a relationship."
"...o-okay. I'll focus more on me...I get it. I'm gonna go now. Goodnight." He took the bouquet, hiding his face with them.
But it did little to masquerade his sniffles, even as he turned around and tried making a quick exit towards the door, embarrassed and ashamed.
You probably didn't want to see him ever again-
Yet he froze as he felt your hand resting on his back.
"C'mon Ken, don't be like that. Could you look at me?"
"......."
"Please?"
He listened as he slowly turned around and set down the flowers, allowing you to see his face--now stained with fresh new tears. There was a tiny glimmer of hope in his eyes that you were only joking about dating Allan just to see his reaction.
Yet there was only a sad smile on your face. "I'm willing to stay friends. We can do guitar lessons together and all that fun stuff if you want. I don't plan on going to the Real World anytime soon, so..I'll always be here if you wanna hang out."
"...you will?" His voice was small, his sniffles continuing. "I didn't..r-ruin anything between us?"
You shook your head and opened your arms up. "Not a thing--oof!"
Next thing you knew, he collapsed into your embrace, and you could feel him shaking. "I-I'm just...so scared that I'll never find love again.." He cried softly. "How will I know who's the right person? Or when it's the right time? Or-?"
"You'll know. I promise." Patting his back, you sighed and closed your eyes, appreciating the fact that Allan left the room to give you two space. "For now, just..keep focusing on yourself and who you are outside of your love life and accessories, okay?"
He nodded in understanding, staying in your hold for a little bit longer before he regrettably let you go. "Thank you, [y/n]..w-will you..at least keep the flowers?"
"Of course. I won't tell Allan." You winked in a lighthearted manner, which made him smile a tiny bit.
After that, Ken properly left your house this time, his heart still aching with the pain of knowing you two simply weren't meant to be. He knew this was for the best but...it still hurts.
Once again he was wandering alone, off to wherever he and the other Kens slept.
Housing for them was still being discussed among the Barbies, although the project seemed to be a success in-progress as he spotted some dolls already moving into newer homes.
They were like the dreamhouses, except smaller with blue accents and minimal horse decorum. One seemed to be up for sale near your house.
Yet he kept walking underneath the brightly-lit streetlights, finding himself humming the tune of that same song you held near and dear to your heart.
If being friends is how he got to have you, then...sure.
He could settle for that.

I miss Gaza. I miss my family. I miss my friends. I miss my home. I miss the walks on the beach with my cousins. I miss the corner shops where everything was cheap. I miss going to the mosque with my friends and family. I miss going to the park with my brothers. I miss my school. I miss my kitten Kiki. I miss the summers spent at my grandparents. I miss walking to school with my brothers and talking about what we're going to do afterwards. I miss going to the library every day and constantly reading new books. I miss picking out new dresses at the store. I miss riding my bike with my cousins. I miss my neighbor Mohamed who I would always play chess with. I miss Palestine, my home.
My world turned upside down when my parents told me we were moving, seeing them hastily pack up everything. I was eleven years old, not knowing why we had to leave our home. I remember hearing my mom cry in the other room on the phone with my aunt. I remember my dad driving in a hurry. Nobody wanted to tell me what was happening, but deep down I knew. And then we were in Egypt, my parents were scared that we'd get sent back, if it wasn't for my dad's connections I think we'd be dead by now.
Next thing I know we're on a flight to, in my mom's words, "the big tower clock country" (we were going to London in). Seeing my uncle waiting for us at the airport and talking to me about how much fun it is here and how I'd make lots of friends. All I could think about if there was a chance that l'd ever be able to go back home. Eleven years later and I still haven't been able to go back home. I had to learn to live with the racism, the Islamophobia, the zionists, the constant hate against my people. I had to learn to cope with the dead of my family members, my friends, my neighbor. Luckily some of my close family could also leave, but then a lot could not and I'm honestly not sure how many are still alive.
I'm incredibly grateful and lucky that I was able to get to a safe country, yet I still miss everything back home. I'm so incredibly thankful to everyone who attended the march for Palestine in London and overall just in any city over the world. Hurts my heart seeing Noah Schnapp holding stickers that says 'zionism is sexy' while Bella Hadid got death threats because she speaks up about Palestine. My point in sharing my story is to remind people that the Palestinians you hear about in the media getting murdered, ALL had lives, they all had dreams, they all had friends and families, they all had their whole world taken from them. They are innocent human beings.
I still hold out hope that one day, I'll be able to take my kids to see the Gaza that I saw. 🇵🇸🩷
I’m so sorry 💜 I know nothing that I say could even comfort you at all. But thank you for choosing to share this with me, I can feel the pain in your words. The pain of being forced to leave your home and being so young that you don’t even understand why. And being so scared and confused… my heart truly goes out to you and the millions of others in Gaza who have been displaced, or lost their homes, lost the land they grew up on, lost their lives or the lives of their loved ones. It’s an actual modern day horror, what we are witnessing.
This is real, individual people we are talking about. As you said, they all had lives, all had dreams, all had hobbies and interests the same as we do. And it’s crazy the luxury we have, us who have never known the struggle or heartbreak of being displaced. Of experiencing a literal genocide. I am so privileged to be able to sit comfortably in my bedroom knowing that no one could just come and claim it as theirs. That no fuckass rich white bitch from Brooklyn New York could just shack up in my house and call it HER land. (Sorry for my language, it just makes me so angry. The way some people are reacting across the world makes me so angry… and I know it makes you ever angrier and more upset.)
My heart goes out to you and I pray to Allah that you will one day return to a free Palestine. To a free Gaza and your people can rebuild what was so cruelly taken from them. The same people who were so cruelly dehumanised by the Zionists and their religious ethnostate of “Isr*el.” I have no sympathy for the Zionists or their supporters. I have no respect for privileged celebrities like Noah Schnapp and others like that woman from the big bang theory, who can sit so comfortably in their mansions and feel like they know what is going on and try to persuade others to support their Zionistic views. When there are brave Palestinian children, women, men, babies, all innocent, all dying and they think the world has turned their back on them. All they have now is their faith.
I’m speaking to you straight from my heart, I know I don’t know you. But what you’ve said has touched me so much and I wish I could do more. I’m happy that you were able to escape and your immediate family is safe, I’m happy your father had the connections he did. I mourn the loss of your homeland, but I’m praying for you and all your people. And I will not forgive or forget what every single Zionist (celebrity or every day person) has said, how they have acted, what they have chosen to support. Years from now they will say they were brainwashed, misguided, they’ll sweep it under the rug and they’ll be forgiven but I will not forgive them.
There is hope in my heart seeing how many people (1mill+) that showed up every Saturday to protest in London, and all over the world in support of Palestine. The strongest thing in this world is hope… and faith. In my opinion. And it hurts, because reading your vivid memories, and how well you remember your home… But I know it won’t be for nothing. Idc if this sounds sappy but I’ll hope and pray for a free Palestine, and for you to go home one day.

The perfect gift 🎁
Can I request an Eddie x reader fluff where it's Christmas and the reader gives him something he always wanted and he starts crying? Idk I just thought it would be really cute :D
Request by anon 💞
Warnings; fluff, a bit of angst at the start
Likes or reblogs are always appreciated 🙂💞 I don't give anyone permission to copy my work
💞
Eddie was inconsolable. His sweetheart, his faithful guitar who had seen him through many years was broken.
It had been a hell of a year what with Vecna, surviving a demobat attack that nearly killed him and seeing the deaths of Chrissy Cunningham and Jordan from the basketball team.
He was lucky to even survive through Vecna's attack and be cleared of the false murder charges that were on him for the deaths.
It's not like Hawkins's PD would believe him if he said that a supernatural being from The Upside Down caused the deaths. Would they?
No, it wasn't until Jim Hopper came back whom everyone thought was dead that he managed to get his name cleared because Hopper knew about all the shit that when on in Hawkins.
With Vecna defeated and the Upside Down no more he and his friends had managed to have a semi-normal life.
The nightmares still happened and the scars from the demo bats were still present, sometimes he would wake up from a nightmare and have severe panic attacks.
One person was always a constant through this.
Yn. She was Robin's cousin and he met her properly when Dustin, Max, Nancy, Steve and Robin were helping him when he was on the run after Chrissy's death from Vecna that happened in his trailer.
He was hesitant to trust her at first, she went to Hawkins, was a cheerleader. She could rat him out to Carver in a second.
But she didn't. She was kind and sarcastic and funny, her sweetness thawed his heart and he fell for her.
They had begun dating once he was out of the hospital and healed from the bat attacks, she visited him every day and they grew closer and closer and fell in love.
She was one of the bright spots in his life, along with his friends and Uncle Wayne.
Speaking of his princess she steps into the trailer and at seeing his anguished face rushes over to him.
"Baby? did you have a nightmare?" he shakes his head and shows her the guitar.
"I've had my sweetheart for years. It's the best fucking guitar and now it's broken. I don't know how long it will take me to save up for a new one" she gently smoothes his hair and kisses his forehead.
"Don't worry babe, we will figure something out I promise"
💞💞
Yn would be the first to admit she knew absolutely nothing about guitars but what she did know is that Eddie's sweetheart was one of his most precious belongings and she was determined to buy him a new guitar.
So she worked harder than ever, took extra shifts and used some of the money she had hidden away for emergencies to go to a guitar shop and buy him a new one.
Nothing could replace his old guitar but she did hope this would cheer him up a little bit.
It was a full hour of searching before she came across one that looked similar to his sweetheart.
The guitar was stunning with beautiful vivid colours and she could imagine Eddie playing on it.
She loved watching him rehearse or play at the Hideout, it was pretty damn sexy.
Immediately she goes to the cashier and tells him that she wants and pays for it then goes home to wrap it.
It's only a week to go until Christmas and she can't wait to see Eddie's face when he opens it. She also purchased a new D&D handbook for his campaigns.
Even though they had graduated high school Eddie still hosted Hellfire night for his little sheeples.
This book was something he wanted and she was fascinated by the d&d lore. The way that Eddie weaved stories for the campaigns was magical and she loved when he made up stories for her.
When she was feeling upset or blue he would make up the most wonderful stories and she would snuggle up beside him and listen intently loving him more and more.
Hopefully, he loved this guitar that she picked for him. She knew it wouldn't replace his sweetheart but she hoped he liked it.
❤❤
It was Christmas eve and she and Eddie were exchanging presents even though they would be spending the holidays together.
Eddie had created a storybook of his stories that he promised to read to her and add to, beautiful perfume and a gorgeous necklace that she treasured.
When it came to him opening his guitar she watched as he gently ripped open the wrapping paper and then the box that she had put the guitar in so it didn't look totally obvious what she bought him.
The look in his eyes when he opened the box made her want to cry with happiness. His eyes light up and he took it out gazing at it in reverence.
"Fuck, baby this is fucking amazing" she beams.
"I know nothing can replace your sweetheart Eddie but I hope this brings happy memories too" he grins and kisses her, over her head and cheeks and then her lips.
"I Love it, princess, this is totally fucking metal!!" he immediately begins to play and the smile on his face is the sweetest as he performs a few songs, smiling in excitement.
It truly was a special Christmas

So, it's one year after the night at Hacketts Quarry. And everyone's kind of freaking out because, that's what trauma does to you. So basically what would everyone do that night?
Also, thank you for keeping this fandom alive
Ooh this is a fun ask!
Tumblr media
Sorry this took so long! I had to chew on it for a bit and then I forgot it in my drafts!
Okay, so it's August 22nd 2022. The moon is cooperating by not being full (it's a waning crescent, to be precise). It's also a Monday and it could be the first day of college/university for anyone going, but let's imagine they all go back a little later since that seems to be the case in the game itself.
We'll imagine everyone survived because otherwise there are fewer of them to talk about and everyone is way sadder. I think one thing they're definitely not doing is going back to Hackett's Quarry in some kind of misguided Until Dawn style return to the scene of the trauma trip. Even if the werewolves are gone, there's still a ghost out there and that's how horror movie sequels get made!
They might do a quick zoom or hit up the group text just to check in, but I don't think they'd necessarily all get together. It would be a little intense for an anniversary, I think.
Max & Laura are endgame, so obviously they're still together, and I'd like to imagine they'd plan a little getaway for themselves (preferably one where Max doesn't have to drive). They'd want it to be something completely unlike the woodsy setting they spent the night in last year. Maybe they'd book a nice hotel for a long weekend not too far from home, just to have a break. Or maybe they'd do something big like take an Alaskan cruise. (Can they afford that as two grad school aged students whose lives just got turned upside down a year ago? Probably not, but it's a nice idea! Maybe if there was a victim's compensation fund or they sold their story to Netflix...) Water all around means zero werewolves! Max will keep comparing their accommodations with those of the North Kill jail, as he will do on every vacation now. ("Look honey, the toilet's in its own room and not an open concept bathroom like the last place we stayed!")
Emma talks about how she wanted to go to the spa after camp in one variation of her scene in the lodge basement, so maybe she'd have a nice pampering session for herself. Mani/pedi, facial treatment, massage, then chilling at home in a fluffy robe and slippers. Kat @itscomingupaces headcanoned Emma acquiring a tiny dog postcanon, which I love, so she probably has a tiny dog in her lap too. Maybe she'd do a brief vlog to reflect on her progress over the course of the year, assuming her viewers have a general idea that something traumatic happened to her and it wasn't all covered up. She'd throw on a comfort movie like Tangled or Singin' in the Rain and get her beauty sleep.
Nick would probably like to forget this anniversary, but I doubt he'd be so lucky in just a year. He has a lot of guilt about the way he treated Abi, though he wasn't really in control at the time. He'd probably try to do something that made him feel good about himself, like volunteer work. I could see him working on a Habitat for Humanity house or walking dogs at an animal shelter. He's almost certainly apologized profusely already, but if he's living anywhere close to Abi, he might offer to take her to dinner. If not, maybe it would be a good time to send her a card. Or an email.
Abi has definitely channeled some of her trauma into her art, so she might take the day to work on a new piece, maybe something a little less based in realism and a little more based in emotion. Maybe she'd incorporate some mixed media or sculpture into it. I go back and forth about shipping her with Emma or with Nick (or neither, or both) but maybe she'd get a manicure with Emma if she's not getting dinner with Nick (she wouldn't be up for the full spa day, though, that's just too much of strangers touching her and talking to her). Or maybe she'd do both, though that would be a lot of doing for our little introvert!
Jacob & Kaitlyn have hopefully patched up any bad feelings stemming from Jacob sabotaging the van because as childhood friends, I think they'd want to help each other when difficult anniversaries like this one come up. I forget who originally suggested it but I now strongly believe the headcanon that they are longtime karaoke buddies and they probably go get a private karaoke room and scream-sing away their angst while getting really embarrassingly drunk. It's fine, they'll get an Uber back to Kaitlyn's and eat an entire pizza later.
Ryan would want to go pay his respects to Chris, Kaylee, and Caleb Hackett. He has very complicated feelings about the family and their role in everyone's nightmare a year ago, but he still has affection for them and feels a duty to remember them as they were when they weren't transforming into flesh-eating monsters. I think he'd want to go visit their gravesites back in North Kill, take them some flowers, and clean off the headstones if the other Hacketts aren't around to do it. I'd like to imagine that he and Dylan would have figured their shit out by then, but whether they're a couple or not I think they'd definitely be in touch and Dylan would probably offer to drive Ryan out there and keep him company if Ryan would let him (if they still haven't gotten together, they probably have some things to talk about).
Dylan picks up some food on his way home, takes an edible, curls up with his cat, and watches the original 80's version of Cosmos with Carl Sagan. It's got a retro futuristic vibe that's very comforting. Some people get anxiety thinking about the vastness of space, but Dylan finds it oddly soothing to think that his problems are actually very small in the grand scheme of things in an ever-expending universe. Ryan can come too, if he wants (he probably does).

LFT PART 35
Tashigi had been excited to meet another swordsman, swords were her passion. She certainly wasn't expecting the green haired man who broke her glasses to have such a legendary sword in his possession. He wasn't very talkative but then again she had a tendency to ramble on, Captain Smoker did sometimes complain about it. What she didn't understand was why Matsu had a cursed sword for sale in his shop, let alone in the cheap barrel where anyone could pick it up. It didn't seem very ethical and she never thought that Matsu could be such an awful businessman. If what he was yelling about was what she thought he was yelling about Matsu had been trying to scam the green haired man out of his sword for far less than it's worth. Perhaps it was time for her to seek out someone else to take care of her precious Shigure. The green haired man…perhaps she should just call him Mr. Green since he had green hair, a green shirt and a green haramaki on, Mr. Green was lucky she showed up when she did.
“The Kitetsu swords are superior in all respects, but they've been cursed since their beginning. You have to believe me. There are stories from all over of master swordsmen who have met their death after taking up a Kitetsu sword. Nobody is stupid enough to touch them these days. And you'll fall to its curse just like everyone else, if you decide to take it. That's why I fear selling it to you, I don't want to be held liable when you die. I don't want to be cursed either, just leave it alone,” Tashigi had no idea. None of this was in her book. Maybe she needed to revise or add on to it.
“Oh how horrible, I'm so sorry I bought it up and encouraged you to buy it,” Tashigi bowed in apology to Mr. Green. “It would be death to take that sword.”
“Sounds great I think I'll take it,” The man she was apologizing to spoke. She stood up straight in shock.
“Didn't you listen to a word I just said! I can't sell it to you! When you die the curse will just come to haunt me!” Matsu screamed before his wife knocked him upside the head.
“Now don't be an idiot! Let him buy that sword ya old fool!” Ume Matsu’s wife whacked him upside the head.
“Don't hit me!” He yelled his hands atop his head.
“Well why don't we find out which of us is stronger than. The swords curse or my good luck,” He had a smirk on his face. She watched as he tossed the sword in the air and stuck his arm out.
“No!” Tashigi screamed.
“Stop it! You fool you're gonna chop your arm off!” Matsu cried out.
Tashigi and everyone else started in shock and horror as the sword flipped around in the air, just missing his outstretched arm embedding into the floorboards below. She couldn’t believe what she had just witnessed. He must be incredibly lucky.
“I'll take it!” He spoke with a wild grin on his face. Tashigi and Matsu both slid to the floor. Her heart had felt as if it was gonna beat out of her chest. She was certain that she was about to witness a blood bath, that his arm was gonna end up on the floor, his blood stain the wooden floor below. “Hey,” The man turned to her bedding down to take his new sword. “Pick out another one you know what your talking about, I trust your judgment,”
“Uhhh OK yah sure I'll do that,” Tashigi was still in shock.
“You! Wait right there, don't move!” Matsu yelled as he took off upstairs. He tripped as he made his way back into the room in no time at all. He held a cloth covered bundle in his arms. He pulled back the cloth to reveal a black sword. “It's covered in a black lacquer finish with an uneven temper pattern,” Matsu held the sword aloft. “My shop is small, but this is the finest sword that I have. Its name is Yubashiri, it's a Ryo-Wazamono sword, it's part of the reason I was desperate to get my hands on your Wado,” Tashgi had no idea Matsu had such a sword in his possession.
“I'm broke, it's way too much, and I won't be borrowing any more money from the witch,” He said, looking over his shoulder.
“It doesn't matter, I'm giving it to you for free if you'll take it. You're welcome to the Kitetsu if you want it, you've proved yourself. You are not as I had suspected an amateur but a true swordsman. This is better off in your hands being used than it was meant to be here. I'm sorry I tried to cheat you before, you must have some damn good luck,”
“You're right I do,” Mr. Green (she really needed to learn his name) said with a smirk.
Tashigi watched as the man walked out the door with his two new swords…for free! In the background, she could hear Matsu and his wife arguing in the background as she sat there stunned by what had occurred. She needed to find out who that man was.

loves grows where my rosemary goes is Steve singing to Eddie. Infact Steve does sing it to Eddie, it's the first time they both properly laugh after the upside down.
They are at Wayne's new trailer (supplied by Hawkins after the old one was vandalised and burned down by Jason and his troupe. It wasn't an easy get but Eddie and Wayne are happy with it and it helps that the town share a mass embarrassment of the witch-hunt they carried out on Eddie.)
Steve is making breakfast and Eddie is sitting on the worktop, both deep in thought as the sun starts to come in through the window when the radio starts playing the song. Before Eddie knows what is going on Steve has picked up a spatula, turned up the volume and is pulling him off the counter
'she ain't got no money, her clothes are kind of funny, her hair is kinda wild and free...'
Hand in hand Eddie is being spun around the kitchen, both of them narrowly avoiding each other's feet in the small space and definitely not avoiding Eddie's hair as they move
'she talks kinda lazy, and people say she's crazy, and her life's a mystery..'
suddenly they are laughing, really laughing, smiles new and unfamiliar after a long time of darkness, grief and guilt. Steve thinks of Eddie's music, his books, the hellfire club. So many things that society doesn't understand but Steve wants to know about, wants to learn about and share with him
'i'm a lucky fella, and I've just got to tell her, that I love her endlessly, because love grows where my rosemary goes and nobody knows like me'
Steve adores this boy so much, he loves how he loves, his passion for his friends, his protective nature, his heart. Steve wishes Hawkins could understand just how special Eddie is because Steve has seen Eddie in full force and knows that if people got even a glimpse of that, they'd be falling at his feet.
The song is coming to a close and Steve is right there, microphone-spatula in hand kneeling on the dirty kitchen floor, grin a mile wide, hair sleep-ruffled and in Eddie's pajamas. He's singing his heart out to the boy he loves, the sun is shining, Eddie is smiling and even though the toast is burnt it's the perfect start to the day.

OC In 15
Thank you for the tag @the-down-upside-finch!!! This is so fun!!!!
Rules: Share 15 or fewer lines of dialogue from an OC, ideally lines that capture the character/personality/vibe of the OC. Bonus points for just using the dialogue without other details about the scene, but you're free to include those as well!
I uh. Did all of the POV Quartet. So I will tag people up top and put it all below a readmore LMAO. Tagging @saintedseraph, @k-v-briarwood, @sentfromwolves, @veneritia, and @scribe-scott!!
Rosamund:
"It's not true. I'm not- I'm not bad. It was-wasn't my idea. I ju-just want to be wi-with the people I lo-love. Please."
"Roland. Teach me how to fight. [...] For me. For my peace of mind. For the worst case scenario."
"You're doing this to ensure I don't put an end to the war you're so desperately trying to start, and I won't stand for it."
"Magic isn't a sickness, mother. I'm proud to have it."
"I thought we were in no danger here?" ["Well, I certainly hope so, but there's no harm in being prepared."] "So the knights should be at the dinner."
["I will not let you ruin your future."] "You are ruining my future. I've seen it."
"Have you ever gotten the feeling you're seeing someone for the last time?"
"I'd rather have died in that fire than continue to be tied to a nation of small-minded slaughterers."
"You all fear magic. My mother did, too. But keep this in mind for if we ever meet again. You are no longer negotiating with a like-minded Sivonese noble. You are dealing with a mage."
"I want to be nothing like [my mother]. Lucky for me, that means being a decent person."
"I won't let it happen. I will not fall to this."
"That's very interesting, but I'm not giving up until I make some progress."
"Run. Before I stop being a coward and kill you."
"I didn't mean to hide my position from you, I simply... didn't want you to be intimidated."
["You can't trust me already."] "But I'd like to."
Christie:
"Genes don't dictate guilds. Anyone can do anything."
"I'm not quitting. I may be young, but I'm not quitting. I'm just... frustrated."
"I don't care if she doesn't like me. I'm not going to stay away from you just because she wants me too."
"Val Thorne! He's an investigator, hunting down criminals all around Exosto. He's from Crown's Ridge, and I've been to some of the places he goes to in his books. Sometimes he gets details wrong, though, but that's okay. It's a fictional version of Exosto. He doesn't have to worry about things like diplomatic passage to get into Rasduk."
[debating if someone is flirting] "I think it's too early to throw it out as a theory, though. You may come across more evidence to support it. But I'd consult the opinion of an expert."
["Secret passage? Where to?"] "I don't know. I'm about to find out."
"I'm not afraid of anything. But I know it's important to be safe, and even more important to be calm, so you can handle if things go badly or if you find something gross, like a skeleton."
"I will be a great mage. Just you wait."
"I don't care if they don't want me. They never came and found me, so I don't know if they loved me that much. But I at least want to know who they are. If they look weird, like me. That kind of thing."
"I have to tell her. I don't— Don't want her to think less of me. I have to tell her."
"I don't want [Maurelle] to fall behind. I'm fine. Goodbye."
"If they're worried about time… n-no offense, but why would they hire an Investigator who is magic-averse?"
"Don't say stuff like that. That's for movies when people are about to die."
"Do you ever wish you could do magic?"
"I told you I'll stay safe. I'm not leaving."
Addison:
"My Lady. Would you like to crash this party? And this whole engagement, as it were?"
["You're the witch house guy?"] "Glad to see that's become my reputation."
["Rulers should always be honest. That's what Miss Fairchild always says."] "And she's right, but guess what? Most rulers aren't. And I'm not a ruler yet."
[to a bird] "You're a cute little thing, you know. Strange, but cute."
["What did you say about stabbing?"] "I gave them plenty of warning. And no one got hurt."
"I promise you'll be safe. I'll set you down just as soon as you'll be able to move by yourself."
"Luxurious or not, [the castle is] still a prison."
"I'm sorry? Just like them? You can just say magic-averse, Miss Fairchild, it's not a dirty word. And for your information, yes! I do plan on being just like them! Is it such a terrible thing to be? I suppose you'd think so, having magic all your life. You've never known what it's like to be without it! I'd pity you if the truth wasn't that it's terrible and limiting."
"Up for an adventure? I'm looking for a witch."
"Katamar, Dimitio, Vunwra. Guide me to what I'm seeking. Do not let me go home empty handed. I was put on this path for a reason, you put me here, did you not?"
"Funny story. I did almost die."
"I believe in all of you. I think you should at least try for what you want. It's better to try and fail than to not try at all."
["That's an antique, not a weapon."] "I think it'll do."
"I didn't meant to kill him - oh, Silpa. Oh, Silpa, I killed someone."
"I'm sorry for all that. Tha-Thank you for helping me. I promise it won't happen again."
Ashton:
"I can't have it happen again, Sutton. I want to help you, but I can't lose another town."
"Stay here. Stay hidden. I'll try and get them away from here. Keep away from the windows, and do not go outside until I come back alone. Understand?"
[lying] "I've never met a mage. I wouldn't know if I saw one."
"I'm coming with you. If… you don't mind the company."
"I'll be back. As soon as I'm able, I'll be back."
"This is a mountain, Sutton, the last thing you're going to see up here is fish."
["Anything [alcoholic] I can get you?"] "Something lighter, please."
"I can't imagine anyone being afraid of your magic."
"Hey, you're hurting yourself. You're not going to get out that way."
"If I'd known you'd react like this, I would've tried to find something else. You don't have to apologize for a reaction like this."
"How am I supposed to help you if I don't know what to avoid? If I don't know why we're doing this in the first place?"
"You were a kid asking for help. That does not put you at fault for their disappearance, you did the right thing. Anyone would have done the same."
"Twenty years, and I've been playing the victim this whole time. I'm scared of fire, a-and of rosey-armored knights, and I shouldn't be! I brought it on myself. I have no right to act this way, but I do."
[about magic] "I never thought it would feel like this."
["I've come this far."] "We've come this far."

CHAPTER 1 | CHAPTER 2 | CHAPTER 3 | CHAPTER 4 | CHAPTER 5 | CHAPTER 7 | CHAPTER 8 | CHAPTER 9
------------------------------
It's been about over a week since it was concluded that there was no gate present at Hawkins High. During that time, Steve, Robin and Dustin informed the rest of the group about the situation, even contacting those who moved to California. After some brainstorming, we wound up at the same conclusion, there's nothing that could be done without a gate present.
There was even a discussion if Eleven could open one, but she doesn't have her abilities anymore and even if she did, it's not worth the risk for what might happen opening a gate. Nancy suggested getting in touch with Dr. Owens, but no one knows how to contact him since he apparently went off the grid. As of right now, I'm stuck in the 80s and until something organically happens, this is my new life.
Other than that, every day life has been normal. School, for the most part, has been lackluster. I've been lucky enough to not accidentally bump into the metalhead again. In Pre-Calculous, he skipped a few times and when he does show up, I've been making sure to be in class early, so I can keep my head down looking busy. I feel ridiculous and immature doing it, but I can't help it.
Currently, I've been trying to find someplace to move. Robin has been nothing but generous to me, even getting me a job at "Family Video" and lending me some cash to buy some clothing of my own. However, I think I've overstayed my welcome and even though she's told me it's completely fine, I feel guilty about it. Plus, her mom will get suspicious if I stay for more than the allotted time we said I'd be here.
"You really don't have to leave, you know?" Robin tells me with a sympathetic look as we get ready for school.
I shake my head replying, "Seriously, it's fine, Robin. I'll need to find a place eventually, might as well start now." Robin observes me as I shove my books into my bag and then puts her hand on my shoulder to make me turn around.
Examining my face with slight worry in her expression she asks, "Hey…are you okay?"
Giving her a convincing smile I say, "Yeah, I'm good. I'm just a little worried about my Pre-Calc test today."
"You'll definitely ace it. You're actually some type of savant when it comes to math." She jokes lightly shoving my shoulder earning a chuckle from me. It's then the routine of breakfast, Steve picking us up, and listening to the debate of the day between the two of them while heading to the high school. Today's argument is about what the best sci-fi movie is.
"Hello? It's clearly Back to the Future! Right, Kate?" Robin claims while asking me for backup.
Steve immediately shakes his head, "No way! You only think that because it's popular right now, but Dune is classic and will continue to be one." Steve says rejecting Robin's stance.
"Nope, mine is the superior one. What other movie would take the risk and show a mom wanting to bang her son? Plus, it's going to have a sequel. You only get a sequel if it's awesome." She counters his stance with a smirk.
"Mhm, yeah sure, if you're into that." He tells Robin jokingly judging her which results in her lightly shoving him and he then exclaims, "And hey that's cheating because you had future insight!" He comes up with an idea and says, "Here's an easy way to know which one is better..." Steve addresses me glancing towards the back seat, "Kate, which movie do people know about in the future?"
Robin scoffs, "Now who's the one cheating and you know Kate won't tell us, right?"
I notice a lull in their debate and realize they're waiting for me to say something, "Oh uh, yeah! Sorry can't tell you."
I then continue to gaze out the window and I can here Steve whisper to Robin, "What's with her?" I don't hear a response so I assume Robin just gave him a gesture. We arrive at the school and Steve waves a goodbye as the two of us walk away. Robin and I agree to meet at her locker this time for lunch, and then we split off to our schedules.
Again, I make sure to get to Ms. O'Donnell's class early and instead of pretending to be busy, I actually review the material before the test. Right after the bell rings, I feel the familiar presence of the metalhead passing by me and the usual bundle of nerves come, but I've been getting used to the sensation.
The test is handed out and stare at it before writing my name and the date. The 18th. Let's hope this day just goes by fast. I think as I scan the test first and then begin. It goes smoothly for me solving the problems and with the last few minutes of the class I check for any mistakes. For the rest of the classes, I go through the same motions and space out a little more than usually do.
By the time lunch rolls around, the first question out of Robin's mouth when we sit down to eat is, "How did the test go?"
"It went pretty well. I was able to answer all the problems easily." I answer while chewing after taking a bite of my peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
When I hear no reply I glance up to see Robin inspecting me again, then asks, "Seriously, what is going on with you?"
"What do you mean?" I ask her back a little taken aback by the question.
"You've been pretty quiet and just seem, I don't know…a bit sad?" Robin explains it the best way she can to me. "Did something happen with you-know-who? Like something embarrassing?" She assumes speaking quietly knowing I don't want it to be overheard.
"No, no! Nothing like that." I respond shaking my head and add, "I just didn't really sleep that well, so I've been feeling like a zombie all day."
Relaxing, she chuckles, "Oh yeah, I definitely know that feeling." After a bit more casual conversation, the bell rings and it's time for our History class. Looking down at my tray, Robin points down at the untouched cupcake commenting, "You didn't get to eat your cupcake."
I grab it while putting the tray back where it needs to be and say, "Ah well, I'll just save it for later." We walk over to my locker so I can put it inside while I also snatch the books I need.
It's difficult to stay focused during the class when it starts and during the whole lesson I notice Robin taking glances over at me probably still concerned. Even though it's painstakingly trudging along, the lesson eventually concludes and I stretch out my limbs before standing from my desk.
Before we part for our last class, Robin asserts, "Meet me at my locker again when your class finishes." Without questioning it, I just agree and then she turns to exit the room for her next class.
As I get the textbook for the final subject, I stare at the cupcake sitting in my locker. Screw it. I think as I shove the book back in it's spot, grab the cupcake, and close my locker making my way towards the back of the school. I exit through the back door, scan around to see if anyone is in the vicinity and take a seat on the steps near the top.
Staring down at the delectable treat in my hand, as my mind wanders. I hope Sarah is okay. I don't know how long it's been since I've been gone. I'm unsure if time works the same here versus there. It could be ten minutes or ten years. It doesn't matter I guess because it's not like I'm going back. I won't be able to see my friends, my parents, or brother again. I thought I would be spending today with Sarah. We'd probably go to our usual karaoke spot and then get some ramen from our favorite Japanese restaurant in the city. My eyes start to shed a few tears thinking about my life back during the present day. The door from behind me suddenly opens causing me to spin around to see who it is. It's the last person who I would want seeing me like this in my current state, Eddie.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know anyone else would be here." He quickly says about to turn around until he recognizes me and teases, "I didn’t think you'd be the type to skip."
I clear my throat and look down trying to hide my face with my hair while responding , "I-I…usually don't."
"Well, there's a first time for everything." He chuckles a little, but then he gets a good look at me pausing to ask, "You okay?"
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine." I reply not wanting to deal with him and so I turn my back to him wiping my eyes. I don't hear anything for a moment, but then there's footsteps coming towards me. From the corner of my eye, I see him take a seat next to me a couple of inches away to give me my space.
After a few more seconds of silence, he speaks up nonchalantly, "You know…I didn't think my reputation was that well known that even the new girl from New York knew who I was on her first day here."
"What?" I ask turning my head to him confused.
He smirks at me and says, "You called out my name without me ever properly introducing myself."
It takes a moment to think back to that day and when it clicks, I'm embarrassed by my slipup muttering, "Oh."
"It's cool though. I bet you heard some interesting facts about me." Eddie teases looking forward playing with his rings, but I can hear a hint of annoyance in his tone. Should I risk saying more than I know? I contemplate to myself.
Taking a breath and staring down at my cupcake in my hands, I tell him in a quiet voice, "Um…just that you play D&D and like metal."
"So you don't think of them as…" Eddie starts to say and then puts on a fake newscaster voice, "…satanic rituals."
I can't help but chuckle at his impression and reply, "I-I don't believe in that. My brother plays it…with his friends sometimes a-and he likes that music too."
From the corner of my eye, I watch him face me and asks, "Really now?" I just nod and in response he just says, "Good to know." There's another moment of silence before he speaks up again, "You might not want to squeeze that cupcake any tighter." Without realizing, the treat was slowly emerging from it's wrapper and I relax my grip sighing. "Want to tell me what's up?" The metalhead asks me, but then adds, "You don't have to if you don't-"
"It's my birthday." I interrupt him giving in after I contemplated whether to say something or not.
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that usually a happy occasion?" He questions now curious as to why I'm acting somber.
"Y-Yeah…but…I…I'm not able to be with my family and friends…and no one here knows. So…" I tell him trailing off getting a little teary-eyed again.
"Party of one." Eddie finishes my sentence and I nod agreeing with him. Suddenly, Eddie stands up and I look over to see him searching his pockets. He pulls out a small piece of paper and then sits back down. I watch him carefully roll the paper, his tongue sticking out a little in concentration. Once done, he proudly holds up the stick of paper exclaiming, "A-ha!" I'm completely confused and Eddie notices, so he then leans over towards my direction which surprises me causing my heart to race faster than it already has been. I follow where Eddie's hand goes, and he sticks his creation on the top of the chocolate frosted dessert in the center. Quickly after, he fishes out from his pocket a lighter, flicks it on, and lights the tip of the paper. "Tah-dah." He says in a sing-song voice and explains, "Can't have a birthday without blowing out a candle."
I just stare at him smiling at me shocked and try to say something, "I-I…y-you…"
He gestures with his eyes and head towards the cupcake stating, "Uh...you should blow on it before it goes out. I don't think I have another piece of paper on me for a redo." As I hold the cupcake up higher to my face he adds, "Make a wish." Closing my eyes, I take a moment to think of what I want to wish for. I wish… I then blow out the flame on the makeshift candle and hear clapping. "Woo!" He shouts and I laugh at his silliness. Once the metalhead is done applauding, he finishes off the celebration grinning and says bowing his head, "Happy Birthday…M'lady." I feel like my heart skipped a beat in that moment.
"Th-Thanks, Eddie." I tell him and to show how grateful I am, I split the cupcake, then hand him half of it. We both devour our halves in a few bites while sitting in silence looking out at the field. The sound of the bell tolls indicating the end of the school day and we stand up from our spot. It's then that I remember our height difference when I view his tall stature. While walking to the door that the two of us came out of, Eddie jogs over to open it for me.
Once I reach him, he stops me before I go through the door to say, "Uh…I know it wasn't really how you imagined celebrating your birthday, but I hope that it was…something for you and that it helped a little."
Quickly studying his face, I can tell he really means it and I smile reassuring him, "It did. I…I really appreciate it."
We both enter the school again and before we part ways, he says, "I'll see you tomorrow in Ms. O'Donnell's."
I nod my head replying with a simple, "Okay." I turn walking away first, but I get the urge to look back, so I do. It's then I see Eddie still there watching me with a smirk and does a small salute when he notices that I turned around. I'm startled by it and spin back continuing to move forward. Robin's locker is close, so I head over to her with a bit of pep in my step. She's there gathering her things and once she spots me, her face goes from a casual smile to bewilderment.
"Alright…something definitely happened." Robin announces as I lean on the locker next to her and she goes on to make her observation, "This whole day you've been kind of moody and now suddenly you have a smile that looks permanently etched on your face. Spill it."
I sigh and feel a sense of guilt when I first start explaining, "So, I didn't tell you this earlier because I felt weird bringing it up, but…today's my birthday."
Robin's mouth immediately hangs agape and then shouts, "Oh my god! You should've told me!" Before I can reply, she then realizes something and continues, "I'm such an idiot! I saw your birthday on your ID and I totally forgot!"
 "I didn't expect you to remember after just glancing at it. It's totally fine, Robin." I tell her trying to comfort and calm down her slight frantic state.
"No it's not." She declares while slamming her locker shut and then says now pushing me down the hall, "I'm going to make Steve cover for us at work and we're going out to celebrate." Before I can even try to refuse, Robin answers, "Nope, not taking no for an answer."
We arrive at my locker so I can grab my things and while doing so, I finally speak up, "You don't have to feel completely bad about it because…I kind of…already had a mini…party?"
Taking hold of my shoulders, she spins me now curious questioning me with the tiny bit a jealousy in her voice, "With who?"
Now feeling embarrassment from the situation, I ramble, "I mean, it wasn't planned. I decided to skip last period and went out back with my cupcake to sit on the stairs. I was going to just kind of wallow in silence while shoving the dessert in my face, but then he interrupted me before I did that. He noticed I was upset, I told him it was my birthday and then he preceded to make me a candle. It was actually impressive thinking on the spot using a piece of paper and his lighter. I blew it out and then to show my thanks, I split the cupcake with him so we could both eat it. The bell rang, we part ways and before we did he said he'll see me tomorrow in Ms. O'Donnell's class. It's really not a big deal when you think about it."
"Ms. O'Donnell's cla-" Robin begins to say confused until a light bulb went off in her head realizing who I'm talking about and exclaims shaking my shoulders, "Holy shit! You were with Eddie!?"
I slap her hands off me shushing her and whisper, "Yes!" I close my locker and now talk at a normal volume, "Like I said it's not a big deal."
"Not a big deal!? This is huge!" She says still a little louder than I would like and then tells me, "He went out of his way to make you a candle for your birthday."
Raising my eyebrow at her while making our way to the exit I state, "It was just a piece of paper."
"Yeah, but it's not about the paper, it's what he did that means something." Robin replies and as we stand outside now waiting for Steve to pick us up she faces me to note, "He wanted to cheer you up and did. Plus, if it meant something to you, it's not just nothing." Before I can respond, we see Steve's car pulling up to us. "So, I'm thinking we first go to the arcade. After that, we'll stop by to visit Steve at work when he's done with his shift to grab a whole bunch of movies and we'll then all go back to my home to have ourselves a marathon." She tells me laying out her plan.
I chuckle amused by her schedule, "You can't forget the pizza and ice cream."
"Oh there's no way we can have a marathon without them." She comments like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "So, ready to have some fun?"
I smirk gesturing to a clueless Steve watching us and say, "Lead the way, Buckley."

A tiny friendship blurb I wrote, because it's how I genuinely feel about the character of Eddie Munson, like someone wrote a character just for me (obviously not the case as millions agree 😂) and I will be devastated if anything bad happens to him tomorrow.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well, you know, it's just strange that she's suddenly single, and you are suddenly cancelling on me every day, that's all I'm saying," you enquire in an irritated but calm as possible tone.
"Yes, Eddie is here...No...", Your tone shifts to annoyed.
"Don't you...you know what...I'm done...bye." you slam down the phone and throw yourself back across the bed with a growl.
"Urgh, I hate dating, and I hate high school!"
"Trouble in paradise", Eddie says absent-mindedly. He's been sitting crossed-legged at the foot of your bed through the entire phone call.
It wasn't unusual. You have been friends since you were kids. If you both weren't booked, you'd usually hang out together, and when it came to studying, you just worked better together.
You want to be mad, but you can't help but laugh, "Paradise? I think everyone knows that it was very far from that. Why did I even agree to that guy in the first place?" You wiggle your way across the covers to hang upside down from the bed.
"The same reason as usual, sweetheart. They were nice to you and asked you out." Eddie says whilst flicking through his textbook. There is very little emotion in what he's saying because he's said it so often to you.
He notices you've adopted a procrastinating position, slams his book shut and joins you hanging upside down off the edge of the bed, "Is this helping?" He smiles.
"I just figured maybe if I got the blood rushing to my head, maybe my last two brain cells would start working together instead of battling" you smile at the ridiculousness of it all.
"I mean, it's a good hypothesis, but from my experience, it really doesn't work." He playfully pushes you, which makes you sway side to side, "Come on, it's not so bad. You really didn't have anything in common with that guy anyway."
You turn to Eddie and nod in agreement, "You're right. You always are." You say as you struggle to do a sit-up to get back to the right way up. Eddie copies, but like it was the easiest thing in the world, "Show off", you nudge him.
"Shall we get back to it?" He says, waving a textbook at you.
"I mean, we should, but I don't know how much more of Titania and Oberon I can take," you say, pretending to faint.
"Wanna get out of here?" He offers, putting his hands on his lap.
You look at Eddie, then the textbooks, then back to him, "Is it bad to say yes?" You say with a pout.
"Of course it is, but that's what we do right. Make wrong decisions and just scrape by," he says, pantomiming his words.
You look out of the window and lean your head on your hand, "When is our turn, Eddie? When do we get the non-shitty end of the stick?"
"Oh no, no way, no pity party, I want no part in it. We are gonna make our own...um.. sticks," he tries and you both laugh.
You give him a great big hug and sit back, admiring him.
"I have no idea what I'd do without you, you know. I was so lost when we came here from England; you were just here. Just waiting in that convenience store. It was like someone wrote the perfect person for me. We like the same music, we both have similar strange behaviours, we don't fit in, we both play D&D, we've got the same weird sense of humour, I mean we even pretty much dress the same, and we're both well, you know..."
You smile knowingly at one another, "Playing for all the teams", he laughs. You nod and squeeze his hand.
You had never imagined ever being able to share that with anyone, at least not at school, maybe not ever. But with Eddie, it just felt comfortable enough to tiptoe around the question a few times, if it was weird, and eventually, you both just knew.
"You know, maybe I don't have the shitty end of the stick. Maybe I'm the luckiest person in the world to have someone like you in my life," you say in a moment of realisation, "and it's just that anyone I date isn't going to match up to that, and I need to stop expecting them to."
"Precisely!" He says, "You know, a few times I've wondered why we just haven't dated one another, and then I remember it's because that just wouldn't be fair to the rest of the world, right? So taking us both off the market, what would the shitty side of Hawkins do?"
You look at him adoringly. Whilst it was true he was perfection, it felt like you had all the time in the world to get together if you wanted to, because you'd always be friends, forever.
"So where shall we take our lecherous selves tonight?" He slaps his knees and stands up.
"Same place we always take ourselves to post break up, Eddie."
He smiles broadly, "Scoops?"
"Aye, aye, captain," you say in a deep voice.

I met Lauren Graham!!! I MET Lauren Graham! Like... she looked at me. And she spoke to me. And she held my hand! I have to keep saying it to myself over and over again, because it's hard to believe it really happened!
After we drove to Denver to see her book tour show, and I wasn't able to get a Meet and Greet ticket, I was manifesting additional dates and locations so I could have another try. And she CAME TO SLC! I jumped on immediately to get my ticket, and scored a Meet and Greet pass this time! So I've been looking forward to this for a couple of months now.
I had to go straight from work, so I didn't look quite as cute and great as I'd hoped, but I tried my best. As I pulled up to get in line, a girl in the GA line offered me $400 for my Meet and Greet. It was slightly tempting, but no, I knew I'd be sad if I missed my one chance to meet one of my all-time favorite celebrities! She was so desperate though that by the time we were going in, she was calling out an offer of $700! I couldn't believe no one took her up on it - especially boyfriends that were obviously just getting dragged along!
We did security, and then got in line to go in one at a time. I was basically at the end of the line, so I had to wait a long time. I was so nervous, as expected. So many butterflies, wondering how to act, how not to be shy, how to seem normal... Especially since I was all alone!
When it was my turn, I went in and she was so nice and sweet, even if the conversation was brief. I told her I'd driven up to see her in Denver, but that I was so glad she came to SLC so I could get the chance to meet her! She said she hoped that the SLC was better and funnier than the Denver show, and then told me she'd never been here before, only to Park City. We laughed about how they're basically the same thing, because they both have mountains. And then we talked about the creepy little church in Denver the event was held at. And then basically we took our picture and that was that! I wish I could have spent more time with her - there are so many questions I'd ask her if I had more time. But she took my hand and held it like my grandma used to, and I think that's so dang cute. Also, she spoke directly to me, and given the fact that she herself talks me to sleep every night, it was surreal and sweet haha.
I got another signed copy of Have I Told You This Already? as part of the experience and then went out to get seats and wait for B to get in. He got a ticket to the show, just not the Meet and Greet! Having the VIP ticket was nice, because we got a seat front and center, without having to get there super early! I submitted two questions for Sam Pancake (her friend and moderator) to ask her - one the same as last time (What's one thing on your bucket list?) and one new one (Have you gotten a sneak peek at Kelly Bishop's new book?). And they ended up using BOTH of my questions! Out of the hundreds that were written. It was my lucky night!
She looked beautiful in her green dress (green must be my lucky color because she's worn it for both of my shows). Lauren and Sam are so charming and so funny, and again, the show is just not long enough. I would like to hear them speak regularly - they need a podcast or something.
Some highlights:
Sam, reading a submitted question: "Bad Santa is a Christmas classic."
Lauren: "Not for my Dad, it isn't."
hahahah
She told a story about getting a massage at a health retreat, and being upside down and naked, obviously, when the masseuse came in and said, "They say that a lot of celebrities come here, but I've never seen one. You look familiar though, do I know you from somewhere?" And she talked about how she was very concerned at what part of her he was recognizing, and just wanted to get on with the massage, so she just said, "Can we talk about this later?!"
They asked both of my questions, and her bucket list item was to take her dad to Japan, or on some kind of active/cycling trip one more time, now that he's getting older. And she said she hasn't read Kelly's book, and she's scared of what could be in there, because Kelly has no filter haha.
She recommended chicken nachos from Red Iguana (gotta try) and the book Tom Lake (I've already purchased it to read haha).
She said that getting to play Lorelai was special that even if they never work again (meaning her and Sam), it would be ok, and he was so offended hahah.
Overall, so much fun. I'm so grateful to have gone again, and for the very happy memory I'll have forever of talking to her one-on-one. I heart LG.

teenage dirtbag [four] // wanda maximoff
summary: Things finally explode between you and Nate, and Pietro decides to get to the bottom of whatever is going on between you and Wanda, though in usual Pietro fashion AKA not subtly at all
warning/s: none.
author's note: this is very beefy, i must admit, but i think you'll all enjoy the outcome 😂💘

Dinner with the Maximoffs wasn't as strange as I envisioned. Her parents were sweet and the twins did their best to make me feel comfortable. Wanda still seemed mildly frustrated whenever Pietro and I would talk though, and I figured she may have thought I was lying when I told her I didn't like him like that. I hoped that wasn't the case.
After dinner, Wanda took me upstairs to show me her bedroom. I'm not sure how to describe it other than it seemed so Wanda.
"I'm guessing red is your favourite colour," I said when I saw the hints of scarlet in her bedroom. On her walls, in her bedding, on her pillows. Just like her car and her jacket, they were all bright and very her.
"Great observation, Sherlock," she teased with a sly smile.
I returned the smile, sticking my tongue out at her playfully, before having a walk around and coming across her massive CD collection and CD player. Her music taste was actually quite similar to mine, which I definitely didn't expect. It just made her ten times more attractive to me which wasn't good, but oh well. I was here for a good time, not a long time. And my crush on Wanda Maximoff would surely be the death of me.
"D'you have any CDs at all?" she asked, joining my side when she noticed me staring at the shelf.
I crossed my arms, glancing at her. "Don't get me wrong. I'd love to collect them, but it's just so much easier to have Spotify, y'know?"
My intention wasn't to make her laugh, but God I was glad I did when her eyes crinkled and the sound rang around the room, making my heart pinch with adoration.
After giving me some of her pyjamas, the two of us got ready and brushed our teeth before I realised she wanted me to share bed with her.
"You wanna watch some TV before bed?" she asked, clearly not registering my hesitance to slide into her Queen-sized bed.
I swallowed hard. "S-sure."
She turned on the TV at the end of her bed as I slipped in beside her, still a bit rigid as I kept a fair distance from her.
"What you feeling? Comedy? Drama? Horror?"
"Anything is fine with me," I said, still tense.
She hummed in acknowledgement before leaning down on her pile of pillows behind her, edging closer to me. My heart was hammering in my chest as her hair tickled my arm from where she was laying.
"You comfortable?" she checked in, leaning backwards so her head was upside down to see me. "I have more pillows if you need them."
I offered her a small smile, hoping it disguised my nerves. "I'm good."
She nodded before flicking through the channels and eventually settling on reruns of The Office. It took time, but I eventually overcame my initial shock of sharing bed with the girl I had a major crush on and instead relaxed, getting comfortable under the covers.
After watching some TV, we called it a night and fell asleep quite quickly, the day taking its toll on us. For once, I wasn't panicking about doing something stupid. I simply fell asleep, trying to ignore the heat she emanated from beside me.
It was a peaceful night – her bed was super comfortable – and I woke up to the sound of Wanda moving about in her bedroom.
"Shoot, I'm sorry, did I wake you?" she asked when she saw me moving about under the blankets. I tried to blink away the sleep as she continued, "I was gonna wake you soon. School starts in an hour."
I rubbed my eyes, yawning, before sitting up and seeing she was practically already dressed. That meant she would have been up for a while, meaning she would have seen me fast asleep. God, I hated when people saw me sleeping. It always felt so weird.
"It's okay," I got out tiredly, before running a hand through my hair.
"You sleep well?" she asked, spinning around in her chair, her makeup half done. "I tried my very best not to use you as a teddy bear."
She was joking, but I felt my neck grow warm at the thought and damn, it was just way too early to be flustered.
"Yeah, I slept great," I settled, feeling her gaze on me. "Thanks again for having me over."
"Anytime," she said, and something told me it wasn't just a friendly response but that she actually meant it. Maybe it was the kind smile on her lips as she said so. "Just like last night, if you wanna use anything in the bathroom, go for it."
I gave her a thumbs up, taking a moment to wake myself up a little more, before heading to the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I returned to Wanda's room, I saw she'd already made the bed and had laid my clothes on top of it.
"I've got a shirt you can borrow," she said when I grabbed my jeans.
"Oh, I can just wear the same thing again, it's no biggie," I told her, already grabbing my shirt.
She pouted before grabbing a shirt from her closet. "Just hold on. You'll love it."
In no time, she came out from her closet and held out a Paramore tee shirt on a hanger towards me.
"I got it from the last concert I went to," she explained. "I thought you'd like it."
I couldn't help but smile at the thought. "Wow, Wanda. Really? You don't mind?"
She nodded, shaking the shirt as emphasis for me to take it. I did, having a look over it and smiling to myself.
"I'll wash it and give it back to you tomorrow," I promised, taking it off the hanger and holding it with my jeans. "Thanks."
"You can keep it," she said, scratching the back of her head apprehensively. "I've got loads."
"Oh, no, I can't do that," I began to deny, but she shook her head.
"It's fine, I'm giving it to you," she said, before smiling sweetly. "I'm sure you'll look better in it anyway."
Again with the warmth spreading up my neck...
"I doubt that," I quipped with a small smile.
"Go! Go get changed," she said, already pushing me towards the door. "I'll meet you downstairs for breakfast."
I snickered, letting her shove me into the hallway, before heading into the bathroom to get ready. The shirt was oversized, so there was no need to be worried it wouldn't fit. It was actually really nice, plus I liked it that extra bit more knowing Wanda gave it to me. Though I knew I wouldn't keep it. It was hers and she was just being nice.
When I finished making myself look presentable, I headed downstairs and found the twins at the kitchen counter, chatting between themselves. Their chatter ceased when I walked in, with Wanda biting her lip and looking me up and down with satisfaction.
"I was right," was all she said, making me nervous. "You do look better in it than me."
The day after that, I did as I said I would and returned Wanda's shirt to her, washed, folded and ironed. Knowing she wouldn't accept it without a fight, I left it in her bag when she wasn't looking during class.
I should have expected her to approach me at my locker afterwards.
"It was supposed to be a gift," she said, and I saw her pretty face reflected in the mirror hung inside my locker.
I turned around, already knowing what she was talking about.
"I told you I couldn't accept," I said politely, giving her a small smile. "I appreciate it though." She seemed disappointed which obviously didn't help with my feelings for her, so I took a leap and added, "Maybe I can get my own at their next concert. In the summer, right?"
She picked up on what I meant and smiled, stifling a laugh. Running a hand through her hair, she met my gaze and I found myself frozen in place as always, unable to look away. I wondered if she knew what she was doing when she did that, knew that she was giving me heart palpitations every time her lips turned into a playful smirk and dark eyes studied me curiously.
My eyes drifted to her lips subconsciously and she must have put on some lip balm or something, prior to finding me just now, as they looked shiny and pink and just so damn kissable. Nate was one lucky guy.
Having faced issues with Nate three times now (AKA the three times he happened to launch a football at my head), I'd figured I wouldn't be seeing the last of him. He was a dick, meaning he had a natural inclination to piss people off, particularly me. But I never thought he'd go for Y/BF/N.
We were chilling by our lockers, chatting about his film project, when his books suddenly got knocked out of his hands and he was shoved against the lockers. I straightened up when I saw it was Nate, looking pissed off as he had Y/BF/N's shirt bundled in his fist.
"What the hell are you doing?!" I shouted, trying to shove him off, but he merely pushed me back.
"This isn't your business," he said to me before glaring at Y/BF/N, who was quiet with panic. "You. You've been hanging around my girlfriend and I don't like it."
The colour drained from Y/BF/N's face as Nate slammed his hand to the lockers beside his head, startling him.
"I want you to stay the fuck away from Wanda!" he ordered, and students were starting to pick up on the fight that was clearly about to break out. "You fucking hear me, you nerd? Stay the fuck away!"
Poor Y/BF/N nodded his head, eyes avoiding Nate's. Meanwhile, I was angrier than Nate probably was. Y/BF/N had done nothing wrong. Maybe Nate had just seen Wanda hanging with me and because Y/BF/N was always with me, assumed the worst. Either way, this was no way to handle the situation and I was not gonna let this dick threaten my friend.
"Get the fuck away from him, Nate," I said through gritted teeth, glaring a hole into the side of his head.
Nate barely glanced my way. "I told you this isn't your business, honey."
"Five seconds," I said, standing behind him as a crowd began to form. "You've got five seconds or I'm gonna kick you."
He seemed to ignore me as he tightened his grip on Y/BF/N's shirt, only pissing me off more.
"Five," I began to count down, the grip on my books tightening with nerves and anger. "Four."
He still didn't look my way, just kept slapping Y/BF/N's face to scare him.
"Three, two, one," I said quickly, tired of giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Without waiting anymore, I kicked him between the legs with full force, watching as he instantly let go of Y/BF/N and doubled over. Everybody began to laugh, some making 'ooh' noises, but the consensus was clear – it definitely sucked to be Nate right now.
I tried not to laugh as I watched his face scrunch with pain, turning red. I was starting to appreciate my choice of wearing my doc marten boots today.
"No more balls for the guy who keeps throwing them at my fucking head," I got out, jaw clenching.
He looked up, his face crossing with realisation as he recognised me. In response, he glared in my direction, but it didn't faze me.
"Come on, Y/BF/N," I said, looking to my startled friend. "Let's go."
"What on Earth is going on over here?!" a teacher's voice rang out in the distance, and I groaned internally.
When I turned to leave, I heard Nate from behind me, grunting with dissatisfaction.
"Fuckin' dyke," he mumbled under his breath, and I paused, clenching my fists.
"Y/N, don't–" Y/BF/N tried to stop me, but I was too pissed to care.
I spun around and punched Nate square in the face, feeling good as his smirking face scrunched in pain and his back hit the lockers from the impact.
"Woah!" a teacher came out of nowhere, shoving herself between us and pushing me away from him. "What the hell is going on here?!"
I shook my hand to ease the pain on my knuckles, though the pain couldn't stop the grin on my lips as Nate raised his hands to his face, holding his busted nose. Students were going crazy, egged on by the potential fight, and for once, I didn't mind the attention. Nate had that coming for a while now.
"Everybody back to class! Now!" the teacher yelled, glaring all around her, before her eyes settled on Nate and I. "You two. Nurse's office now."
Nate glared at me behind his bloody nose and, once again, I tried not to laugh. Y/BF/N patted my back, amazement written on his face, before letting me leave with the teacher and an unusually silent Nate.
Kicking Nate in the groin and punching him in the face wasn't something I did to get attention, yet that's exactly what happened. Word of the incident spread around the school quite quickly, so much in fact that even students from other grades became aware of the situation and were approaching me to tell me how awesome I was. The whole thing was definitely strange, but I could tolerate it.
What I couldn't tolerate was having Chemistry after lunch and wondering if Wanda knew.
Would she hate me for punching her boyfriend? I wasn't sure. I just knew that when she walked into class and sat next to me, I felt everyone's eyes subtly watching us as if waiting for her to explode at me.
I'd been given an ice pack for my bruised hand after my visit to the nurse's office earlier whilst Nate had been treated for his broken nose (the fact that I'd broken it was hilarious to me, since I knew I wasn't even that strong). The principal had a very angry yell at us both in his office, neither of us willing to reveal the premise of our fight, before giving us detention every day after school for two weeks straight as punishment. Of course, Nate got his two weeks at a different time to mine for fear I'd punch him again (he definitely didn't like that, but he couldn't exactly say that to to principal).
I didn't bother using the ice pack in Chemistry for fear Wanda may ask what was up. I successfully managed to hide my hand and as a second surprise of the day, Wanda mentioned nothing about the incident. Not one thing about her boyfriend, about Y/BF/N, about any of it. I thought she might hint at it, trying to get me to bring it up. But she didn't which made me think she actually had no idea it even happened. Had anyone told her? Had he told her? Nah, probably not. His fragile masculinity probably caused him to change the story to something else so he didn't look like a wimp in front of his girlfriend.
Whatever it was, I was safe for now.
Thinking I'd got away with a confrontation from Wanda, I went about the rest of my day as usual. Well, that was until I was replacing some books in my locker at the end of the day and saw Wanda at her locker behind me, arguing with– yep, you guessed it. Nate.
Y/BF/N was collecting some books from his own locker beside me and we both exchanged looks as we saw the two lovebirds in a heated argument. Just when we were about to leave, someone cleared their throat from behind us, making us turn around.
Wanda was stood there, backpack hanging from her shoulder, beside Nate, who looked like he would rather be anywhere else but here.
"Hi," he started quietly, making Wanda clear her throat. He glanced at her before looking to Y/BF/N. "Look, man, I'm really sorry about earlier. I was wrong about what I said. We cool?"
I tried not to laugh at the way Nate was being forced to apologise by his girlfriend. Y/BF/N glanced to me with questioning eyes, so I simply shrugged.
"I guess...," he finally answered Nate, still a little awkward.
Nate nodded before looking to me. He still had his reservations, judging from the twitch in his expression, but for Wanda's sake, he kept his cool.
"I'm sorry for treating you badly," he said reluctantly. "With the football and just generally."
God, it was so hard not to laugh in his face right now. His nose had gauze taped to it and it made him look like an idiot. I fake coughed to disguise my smile, before meeting his gaze.
"It's, er, cool," I said, not in the mood to be an arsehole to him, even though he deserved it. I'd punched him – I think we were equal for now.
He nodded, before staying quiet. Glancing to Wanda, he waited for her to say something. She rolled her eyes and nodded for him to leave. When he was gone, she sighed tiredly.
"I only heard about what happened after Chem class," she said, mainly to me, a guilty expression on her lips. "I'm so sorry he acted like a jerk."
I chewed my lip, unsure what to say.
"It's okay, Y/N here took care of it," Y/BF/N said, smiling with amusement at me. Okay, well now she definitely knew.
"Yeah, sorry you felt you had to do that," she said with a grimace. "I guess he deserved it though."
"Kind of," I agreed, before noticing the regretful frown on her lips. "He apologised though. It's already happened. I kinda broke his nose... No point in dwelling on it."
She smiled, though it didn't reach her eyes. "Yeah..." Her eyes fell to my bruised hand before lifting it gently. I winced at the ache, but let her hold it, studying the purple bruise painted across my knuckles. "That looks bad."
It felt good punching him though, but I wasn't about to say that since it was her boyfriend I was talking about.
"It's alright," I said dismissively, shrugging. "Nate kind of got it worse. I'll live."
The pad of her thumb stroked the bruise gently and I held my breath, the feeling of her hands holding mine sending shivers up my arm. Her eyes flickered to mine, softened with guilt, before she let go of my hand.
"I should head home," she said after a pause. "I'll see you both tomorrow."
"See you tomorrow," Y/BF/N said for both of us, sensing my loss of words.
Wanda held my gaze once more, eyes half lidded as they glanced down. Before I could even question what she was looking at, she waved goodbye and left.
"She's either starting to realise what a dick her boyfriend is or she's just really into you," Y/BF/N said, patting me on the back. "Maybe both, who knows?"
"You definitely cheated," I told Y/BF/N once we finished yet another round of air hockey. "Nobody wins six times in a row like that!"
He laughed at my expression. "Tell me, dear Y/N. How would I cheat? The concept of the game is simple, really. It's not my fault you're terrible."
I rolled my eyes lightheartedly. "Seventh time's the charm. C'mon."
He chuckled, about to put more money in the machine, before his eyes got distracted by something behind me. "Well, would you look at that. The Maximoff twins are here."
"Very funny," I said with a knowing look. "You can't throw me off like that. We've established I'm already terrible. Now c'mon. Let's go!"
"I wish I was joking," he said, shaking his head.
I scoffed, not believing him, and turned around to prove him wrong, but I was surprised when I saw Wanda and Pietro walking into the arcade we were in. They seemed to spot us instantly, waving in our direction before approaching us.
"Fancy seeing you here," Pietro teased with a smile as they stopped before us.
I cracked a smile as Y/BF/N joined my side. "We're hanging out. And you?"
Wrapping an arm around his sister's shoulder, he tugged Wanda close to him. "Sibling bonding time."
Wanda rolled her eyes at his childishness, but I could tell she found it endearing all the same.
"Well, if you want, you can hang with us," Y/BF/N offered, and we all looked to him, myself raising a brow his way. He seemed to sense my reluctance, it egging him on as he grinned at them. "Y/N doesn't mind. Do you, Y/N?"
I swallowed hard as I looked between the twins. "'Course not."
And that's how I found myself playing arcade games with the Maximoff twins that Saturday afternoon. It was actually pretty fun, with Pietro being as competitive as I was and Wanda being the sweetest loser with everything she played. It was so adorable, but I ended up letting her win some games of skee-ball just so I could see that cute nose scrunch of hers as she realised she'd won.
"You gonna let me win like that, too?" Pietro caught on as he took his sister's place in playing against me. He had a mischievous grin on his lips and I felt my mouth go dry at what he was implying.
"You wish," I said, playing it cool, though I wondered if he cared that I clearly let Wanda win. He wouldn't read into it, right?
Pietro took his go as he spoke. "So, I heard what happened with you and Nate at school last week."
I closed my eyes, cringing at the reminder. Pietro merely laughed.
"You kicked him super hard, right?" he asked excitedly. "I heard his face went so red with anger that you could fry an egg on it! And don't forget that punch, goddamn what I would pay to have seen that!"
"Pietro!" Wanda scolded from behind us as her and Y/BF/N played air hockey. "Don't be a tool!"
I felt my face heat up with embarrassment as Pietro continued to laugh. Y/BF/N joined in whilst Wanda tried to hide the smile dancing on her lips.
"You're not even together anymore," Pietro called to Wanda between laughter. Wait, did I hear that right?
"You and Nate broke up?" Y/BF/N asked with disbelief. "Our grade's 'it' couple broke up?"
Wanda ran a hand through her hair to distract from her flittering eyes. "He treated you horribly last week. Both of you." She glanced my way before looking at her shoes. "He was a jerk. It was long overdue... Also, I would have broken up with him there and then had I known what he'd said to you. I'm sorry he said what he did."
She stared at me with apologetic eyes and I wasn't sure what to say or do other than nod awkwardly and look away. The fact that she'd broken up with him put a smile on my face though.
"I just think it's awesome," Pietro admitted, before saluting playfully to me. "Thank you for your service. I knew you were awesome, but this is a whole new level."
I sighed, attempting to hide my smile, before straightening up to play. Pietro and I played some skee-ball before I decided to have a go at the claw machine. Wanda was at the one beside me, attempting to win herself a fluffy black cat plush toy. She'd had three goes before giving up, admitting to defeat.
"Typical Wanda," Pietro teased. "Giving up when the going gets tough."
She punched him in the arm, making him jump and rub it. That elicited a smile from her, making me laugh at their immaturity.
"How about Wanda and I go and get a table in the diner next door whilst you finish up winning whatever it is you're trying to win?" Y/BF/N asked, looking to me, as if assigning blame.
"I already told you, I'm not leaving this machine until I win at least one thing," I stated stubbornly.
"The amount of money you've put into the machine won't make up for whatever you win," Y/BF/N teased with amusement.
"Just go," I said, waving my hand dismissively. "I'll be there soon."
"I'll wait with her," Pietro said, resting a hand on my shoulder, making me shrug him off jokingly. "See you soon," he added with a laugh, to his sister and Y/BF/N.
When they left, I looked to Pietro with an amused smile. "I don't need you to look after me, y'know."
He shrugged and looked through the glass of the claw machine. "I know. But I stayed to give you some advice, princess."
"Oh, really? And what advice is that?" I asked, before putting some coins in the machine to have another go.
"People usually tend to win these things for people they like, right?" he asked, nodding to the plush toys in the machine.
"Or for themselves," I corrected with a curious smile. "Take Wanda for example. How badly did she want that cat?"
He crossed his arms, smiling with amusement. "You could win it for her, y'know."
"What?" I asked, half paying attention as I attempted to grab a teddy bear.
"Win the cat for my sister and give it to her?"
I ended up dropping the teddy from the claw as I looked to Pietro with shock. He laughed at my expression, leaning against the machine.
"You do like her, right? Otherwise this is awkward," he added as an afterthought, looking down and smiling to himself.
My jaw hung open. "I– er– I never really– I don't–"
"She must definitely like you," Pietro noted, glancing at me.
I licked my lips as I found my words. "Did she," I cleared my throat, "did she say something?"
"Well, no," he said, "but she looks like she wants to murder me every time I hang out with you."
"That's just a coincidence," I said, shaking my head and looking back to the machine. "She's not–" I thought about, before shaking my head again. "No."
I appreciated Pietro's help, but Wanda definitely didn't like me like that. She was just protective of her brother and friendly to me. It didn't mean anything.
"Look, you don't have to listen to me," he said, straightening up and looking at the machine as I slotted another coin in. "But you could give it a shot. See what happens."
I glanced at him, his blue eyes watching me knowingly, a matching smirk on his lips.
"Fine," I gave in, hoping it wouldn't backfire. "Let's see what happens..."

HARDIN. I scan through the pages of the small notebook, my eyes move across the words quickly as I decide where to start. It's a journal from her religion class, it took me a minute to figure out what the hell it was because each entry is labeled with a word and a date, most of them having nothing to do with religion.
Pain. The word catches my eye and I begin to read.
Does pain turn people away from their God? If so, how? Pain can turn anyone away from just about anything. Pain is capable of causing you to do things you would never consider doing, such as blaming God for your pain. Pain.. such a simple word that holds so much inside. I have come to learn that pain is the strongest emotion one can feel. Unlike every other emotion, there is no upside to pain, no positive notion that can make you look at the pain from a different perspective, there is only pain. Lately I have become very well acquainted with pain, the ache has nearly become unbearable. Sometimes when l'm alone, which is more often than not as of recently, I find myself trying to decide which type of pain is worse. The answer isn't as simple as I thought it would be. The slow and steady aching pain, the type of pain that comes when you've been hurt repeatedly by the same person yet here you are, here I am, allowing the pain to continue, it never ends. Only in those rare moments when he pulls me to his chest and makes promises that he never seems able to keep, does the pain disappear. Just as I get used to the freedom, my freedom my self inflicted pain, it returns with another blow.
This doesn't have a damn thing to do with religion, this is about me.
I have decided that the hot, burning, inescapable pain is the worst. This pain comes when you finally begin to relax, you finally breathe, thinking that the pain is yesterday's problem when in fact it's today's problem, tomorrow's, and every day after that. This pain comes when you pour everything into something, into someone, and they betray you so suddenly that the pain crushes you and you feel as if you are barely breathing, barely holding on to that small fraction of whatever is left inside of you begging you to go on, not to give up.
Fuck.
Sometimes it's faith that people hold onto, sometimes, if you're lucky enough you can confide in someone else and trust them to pull you out of the pain before you dwell in it for too long. Pain is one of those hideous places that once visited you have to fight your way out and even when you think you have escaped you are permanently branded. If you're like me, you don't have anyone to depend on, no one to take your hand and assure you that you will make it through this hell. Instead, you have to lace up your boots, grab your own hand, and pull yourself out.
My eyes move to the date at the top of the page, this was written while I was in England. I shouldn't read any more, I should just put the damn book down and never open it again but I can't. I have to know what else was written in this book of secrets. This is the closest to her I fear that I will ever fucking get. I turn to another page labeled "Faith".
What does faith mean to you? Do you have faith in something higher? Do you believe that faith can bring good things into people's lives?
This should be better, this entry should knife the ache in my chest. This one couldn't be related to me.
To me, faith means believing in something other than yourself. I don't believe that any two people can possibly hold the same view on faith whether their only faith is religion based or not. I do believe in something higher, I was raised that way. My mother and I went to church every single Sunday and most Wednesday's. I don't go to church now, which I probably should but l'm still deciding howI feel about my religious faith as an adult without my mother's influence. When I think about faith my mind doesn't automatically go to religion, it probably should but it just doesn't. It goes to him, everything does. He is my every thought, I'm not entirely sure if that's a good thing but that's the way it is and I have faith that it will work out for us in the end. Yes, he's difficult and overprotective, sometimes even controlling. okay, he's often controlling but I have faith in him that he means well with each frustrating action. My relationship with him tests me in ways thatI never thought imaginable but every second is worth it. I have faith that one day the deep fear of losing me will dissolve and he will embrace our future together, that's all I want./ know he wants it too, though he would never say it. Thave so much faith in that man that I will take every single tear, every single pointless argument, I'll take it all just to be around for the day when he has faith in himself. I have faith that one day Hardin will say what he feels openly and honestly, finally putting an end to his self-imposed exile. I have faith that one day he will finally see that he isn't a villain. He tries so hard to be one but deep down he's really a hero. He's been my hero, my tormenter at times, but mostly my hero. He saved me from myself, / spent my life pretending to be someone I wasn't and Hardin has shown me that it's okay to be myself. I don't have to conform to the person my mother wanted me to be and I thank him dearly for it. I have faith that he will see how truly incredible he is, he's so incredibly perfectly imperfect and I love him so much for that. He may not show it the conventional way but he tries and that's all I can ask for from him. I have faith that if he continues to try, he will finally allow himself to be happy. I will continue to have faith in him until he stops trying.
I close the book and pinch the bridge of my nose in an attempt to control my emotions. She had all of this faith in me for no damn reason. I'll never understand why she wasted her time on me in the first place but reading her unguarded thoughts this way twists the knife, removes it, and impales it into my chest once more.
I really am a fucking drunk. I'm hovered over the kitchen counter with a fucking bottle of vodka in my hands. I twist the top off and bring the bottle to my lips. Just one drink will cause the guilt to go away. If I have one drink I can force myself to pretend Tessa will be home soon. It has worked before to numb the pain, it will work this time. One drink.
Just as I close my eyes and tilt my head back, Tessa's teary eyes flash behind mine. I open my eyes, turn the sink faucet on, and pour the vodka down the drain.

Ethan & Tiffany: Endgame (HC)
Tumblr media
A quick reminder: I've rejected canon Third Year completely, so mind that none of OHTY bs happens in my E&T canon timeline.
A/N: I tried my best to write every major fact down - hopefully the final product isn’t too messy or too boring, I’m new to the headcanon business and this isn’t even written in the headcanon form because I’m a rebel lol
Huge thanks to the lovely Anon who requested this HC and every single one of you still interested in E&T’s shenanigans, your support is the greatest gift I could ever receive! If you have some more specific questions about these two, feel free to hit my askbox anytime 💕
Now let’s check what’s in store for Tiffany and Ethan!
Children
Neither of them planned children in their lives; they were perfectly comfortable in the relationship they had—living together, advancing their glittering careers while supporting each other, slaying the game as the ultimate power couple.
But life has its ways, of course, and a week prior to their third anniversary Tiffany found out she was pregnant. The news sparked blind panic in the 30-year-old doctor; she thought her whole world fell like dominoes. Tiffany wouldn't intentionally start a family: she'd just started turning her dreams and plans into reality and she didn't even consider herself fit to be a mother (even though deep down she craved it).
She'd spent an entire week full of doubts, listing all her options, before she finally shared the news with Ethan. His reaction was surprisingly calm, considering his stance on having children. Based on the evidence gathered throughout the week, he'd already suspected pregnancy and did some calculations on his own.
They both agreed it wasn’t the best time—their busy schedules didn’t allow them to even reconsider the concept of starting a family. Nevertheless, the baby was coming, and their hearts filled with strange excitement. Having a baby on board seemed surreal at first, but after the dust had settled they felt oddly content about the unforseen circumstances.
E&T's world turned upside down the second their son was born. Raising a child happened to be the greatest challenge these two brilliant doctors had encountered. Luckily, they both relish a good challenge. Guided by the unexpected overflow of affection, they quickly settled into the alien routine of parenthood.
Nathaniel Jonah (also known as NJ, Nate) turned out to be a perfect blend of his parents' most prominent features & traits: Ethan's ocean eyes and stubbornness mixed with Tiffany's smile and warm heart.
Three years later, another surprise awaited. The most shocking thing about the second pregnancy was that it didn't happen sooner (they'd been exceptionally careless). Nicolette „Letty”, a spitting image of her mother, stole Ethan's heart from the start, bringing even more joy to their controlled chaos.
The fancy condo was too small for a family of four, so The Ramdams were forced to find a new home. They moved to a dreamy house in the Boston suburbs merely a month before their daughter was born.
The third one (for a change) received a proper invitation to this world. Tiffany wasn't the biggest fan of the idea of having another baby, but her window was closing (she was 38) and Ethan's palpable excitement tipped the scales. Everyone jokes Aine must be adopted because she's the most unproblematic angel, unlike her parents.
The family wouldn't be full without pets: Nettie (British Shorthair cat) & Hopper (English bulldog).
Tumblr media
Marriage
Marriage was never on their agenda. Neither of them felt the need to make their relationship formal, it wouldn't change anything between them—they were already acting like a married couple. Both Tiffany and Ethan think there are more valuable symbols of love than some paper signed in the presence of everyone they know. Partnership they were in seemed like the most comfortable and obvious choice.
The topic resurfaced with the pregnancy news. Our good guy Ethan, our Mr Must-Do-What’s-Right, proposed to Tiffany on their third anniversary dinner, right after they discovered they were expecting. He did it because it made sense. Because it was convenient. Because it was a decent thing to do.
But guess what...Tiffany rejected the proposal. She didn’t want to marry out of obligation. If they were really going to jump into marriage, she wanted it to matter. Ethan understood her point of view, though it didn't stop him from jokingly annoying her on every given occasion that she rejected him.
He waited two years before popping the question again. This time she said yes.
Dr. Grumpsey was willing to agree on a lavish wedding if Tiffany would insist. Lucky for him, his woman hates big, conventional weddings and all that unnecessary attention around the reception. They're both very private people, so they planned the wedding they were actually excited about.
They eloped to Miami where it all started, exchanging vows to the accompaniment of the ocean waves, with little NJ by their side. The wedding reception was just three people enjoying their day at the beach.
As you may suspect, their friends and family flew into a rage when they found out the wedding took place behind their backs. Jackie's death threats were particularly disturbing, so E&T decided to throw an afterparty for their loved ones only.
Career
Tiffany saw her future in diagnostics and followed that path, balancing her personal goals with striving for improvement in patient care. The word about her accomplishments with one of the best diagnostics teams spread fast; shortly after her challenging yet successful residency, Doctor Addams quickly proved to be one of the most valuable and respected diagnosticians—not only at Edenbrook, but also statewide, and later nationwide. She cracked some of the toughest, most hopeless cases, saving lives of many patients considered lost causes.
During her first pregnancy, her career was already on high speed and the situation made her even more determined to keep it that way. She didn't want to sacrifice her newly established position and Ethan did everything he could to support her and her career development.
She remained a vital part of Edenbrook's Diagnostics Team under Ethan's leadership for a few years. Their minds combined gave spectacular results and above it all they truly enjoyed working together. However, when Letty was born sharing responsibilities at home and managing the time got significantly harder. With minimal hesitation, Ethan decided it was his cue to leave.
He'd been thinking about the change for much longer than he was willing to admit: over the years he'd accomplished everything he could dream of and Edenbrook had become more of a duty than a challenge. So he quit, leaving the team in the most capable hands of Doctor Addams-Ramsey.
For a year and a half The Ethan Ramsey was a stay-at-home dad, juggling family, research for his second book and setting up his clinic with none other than Tobias Carrick.
Ethan wasn't 100% convinced if starting the practice with Tobias would be a wise move, but the clinic exceeded his expectations. Apart from the great sense of accomplishment, he finally gained full independence at work. And there were no bloody interns to babysit anymore.
When little Ramdams got older, he approached Tiffany with a job offer; the best diagnostician in the country was the last missing link in his clinic. She let it marinate for a few years and accepted the offer at the launch of her second book, soon after Letty's 18th birthday.

***
This year's Halloween event was mental. Several big haunted houses are hosted by celebrities. To name a few, there's an Avengers Tower haunted house, The Hall of Justice League, The X-Mansion, and even Walking Dead one.
 You knew it wasn't easy. All of them have a huge fandom. The ticket was sold out immediately when it was open for sale, like 3 months before Halloween, and you were terribly upset. You were whining for a month straight to your boyfriend. Or more like your sugar daddy. He was patient and wealthy, but he knew he can't satisfy you enough, so he usually did everything he could for you. But that time, you just have none of it. The relationship, if you could ever say that, fell out immediately because you were unreasonable.
Tumblr media
 You really wanted to go to The Hall of Justice League and maybe meet Clark Kent. The obsession started because he always visited your dream and mostly engaged in the steamiest dream ever. It's been your wildest dream, really, to have that body blanketed yours, in a really not innocent way.
 Just one day before Halloween, you finally secured one ticket for The Hall of Justice League haunted house. Of course, the first thing you did was scream. You had been on their waiting list since the ticket sold out, but you really lost hope since last week. But now, you celebrate it with a bit of a jump and constant scream.
 "What the fuck?" Your only housemate barged into your bedroom. Face annoyed.
 You stopped your silly jumps and looked at your housemate. With a broad smile, you hug your housemate and shake her body, "I got it! I got the ticket for The Hall of Justice League haunted house! Can you believe that?"
 The redhead hugged you, and both of you jumped in a circle. "Oh my gosh...I can't believe it! Congrats!!! I really hope you will meet your Kryptonite." she gave you her suggestive smirk.
 "I mean...a girl can only hope. But this is a charity event. I don't think he will be available. What if it's all a decoy and I only meet his wax figure?" you pouted at your friend.
 "Well, at least you have the opportunity to see it yourself. But remember, behave, young lady, don't let him if he's there, I mean, witness your brattiness."
 "Aye...aye Captain!" you giggled but immediately gave your housemate a military saluted.
 That night you dreamed of those big blue eyes and his firm, fantastic arms on yours.
 ***
 Dress in your red riding hood costume, you patiently sat in the backseat of the Uber car. Well, maybe a little bit impatient, since it's already 11pm.
 Everything just went down the hill since morning. You can't seem to find your Poison Ivy costume. Not to mention that you were late for work that morning. Your boss was a bitch since she seems annoyed at you every time the male employee or investor became too friendly with you.
 Who can blame you? You were just good at acting all cute to them, and it's not your fault that they mostly thought you were a cute little employee.
 You check your wrist. The expensive rose gold watch from your ex sugar daddy elegantly pointed at 11.30 pm. You sighed, "do you know how long I will arrive at my destination? It will close soon."
 "Hopefully, in 10 minutes. Dunno why it's jam-packed." Said the Uber driver.
 You huffed in exasperation, but there's nothing you can do. You arrived very last minute, like 15 minutes before the haunted house closed. Wearing black stiletto boots, you carefully made a small run into the stairs. The booth was stationed to the far left of the building.
 "Good night, little red riding hood; you are lucky because we are almost closed. Can I see your ticket, please?" A man dressed as Edwar Scissorhands greeted you at the far left of the building.
 You fished out your smartphone from your small basket bag and showed him your barcode. He scanned it and looked at the monitor in front of him. "Hmm, here for a kryptonite, aren't you." He eyed you up and down and smirked at you. "I hope you have a spooky night, little girl."
 You smile at him and sashay your way to the entrance. Apparently, they makeover a warehouse into a vast real-life Justice League Hall. Like in the comic. A white half-circle exterior completed with two giant pillars at each side imitated the picture you only seen in comic books. It looks so magnificent.
 You entered the door after you scanned your barcode at the scanner next to it. The whooshing noises startle you a bit, but you were too excited and step in immediately.
 The inside was bright with a black marble flooring that shone bright; you even can see your reflection. There's a different section of the silvery door like in most sci-fi, alien invasion movies. So futuristic, so clinical.
 You darted your eyes and found where you needed to go. A small rectangle monitor with a very digital clock font in it showed you 'Krypton' words. Without hesitation, you did a little run and waited in front of it. The small rectangle monitored turned to green, and it shone. It startled you, but you let out a sigh of relief when it just scanned your body from your head to toe.
 "So much for a haunted house." You muttered.
 When the door opened, you stepped in. It was a glass elevator. You circled your eyes and found everything was dark. When the elevator ran, bringing you down several floors, the surrounding changed.
 Once, the darkness engulfed you like you were being shipped to the deep ocean, but it changed dramatically. Your eyes darted in awe as you drank on the scenery. The scenery of what you would call the imitation of Planet Krypton. So beautiful yet so harsh.
 When the elevator stopped, the ding noise pulled you to the present. With excitement, you grabbed your smartphone and took several pictures of the scenery. It was just so surreal that a haunted house would make something like this. But you remember how expensive the ticket was.
 "This three grant haunted house better give me a chance to fuck a real-life Clark Kent." you cackled.
 There's a weird tower with a green light on top of it. You assumed some futuristic objects were supposed to be 'kryptonite' as it floated sparsely in most parts of the supposed Krypton. A bit further, you could see a white crystal-like triangle building. Oddly enough, it reminded you of the Louvre Pyramid. This one just full of crystal-like pillars crisscrossed it.
 Didn't want to waste your time, you decided what path you should choose. It wasn't easy. Your stiletto pierced to the weird substrate like mud but also crystal-like as if it's ice. Carefully, you mind your footing while again stayed alert. There's this odd feeling of being watched. But you reminded yourself that you were in a haunted house, so it's understandable.
 You let out a loud scream when suddenly a mummy appeared behind one of the floated crystals. "Holy shit, I didn't see that coming." you try to slow down your breath as you clutched the white ruffle shirt under your red corset.
 When you feel that you can walk again, you try to do it faster. Several times it looks like the Krypton had shifted in its light as if the sun rose and shone, but the next five minutes, it set. Made the scenery look like it was illuminated by the crystal alone, like a lamp.
 When many ghost-like mannequins showed up, it got scarier and scarier, and you immediately lowered your hood to shield you from some view. Your eyes perked up when you finally saw the path to the Fortress of Solitude. It was more like an icy bridge with a dark pond surrounding it.
 As your right foot stepped onto the bridge, a loud noise of a clock surprised you. It struck once and counted until it stopped at the twelfth. It was so loud it's voice echoed. You can even feel it under the sole of your boots.
 Stunned for a moment, your mind suddenly set on alert mode when the water from both ponds on each side of the bridge rippled. A dinosaur-like head appeared from both ponds. It has a single protruding horn. It opened its mouth and let out a loud growl. A blast of wind came out of it like a thunderstorm. It has sharp teeth like sharks that you assumed could quickly rip your body apart if it sank on yours.
 "Holy shit. This is— this is a joke, right? It's not real?" Body trembled in fear; you ran your life out to the Fortress of Solitude. The monsters crawled up out of the water. Its slithered movement mimicked a snake, but it didn't have any problem crawling up without things to latch on.
 You screamed as both of the monsters chased you. Run as fast as your legs allow you. This haunted house event might be too much for you. When you can see an oval object that looks like it can be a big mirror or a huge door, your gloved palms immediately bang on it. "Open the door!" You screamed. When the door finally opened, the two snake-like monsters that chased you suddenly disappeared.
 "Oh— oh my god. Oh my god…," you chanted as you let yourself drop down on the floor.
 "I see you finally make it."
 Your face turned to the left. In front of you, stood up tall and proud, Clark Kent with his superman costume. He's just so big. If you compared your tiny body to him, you definitely, nothing.
 You replied to Superman's bright smile with a scowl. Slowly you got up from the floor and cleaned your skirt. "Isn't that just too much? What if I fell to the pond? I can't swim, you know?"
 He seems surprised, "apologized my lady. It was something the organizer will handle. I don't think they mean any harm."
 "Yeah...yeah… right." you walked closer to the hero and already fished out your mobile phone. "So… what did I need to do now I meet you, Superman?"
 "Hmm… most attendants ask for pictures. Some of them spent time just talking with me. Since you are the last one, you can take as many pictures as you like and of course. If you have any questions about my protection for the earth, I will gladly answer it." The tone in his voice was more soft than authoritative.
 Think of not sabotaging your Halloween any longer; you tried to forgive the silliness of the whole new level of scary from this haunted house. It's hard not to show off your brattiness in this kind of situation. Still, you reminded yourself that he was someone you weren't familiar with—practically a stranger.
 Gave him a sweet smile, you took several pictures with him. At one time, you tried to bat your eyelashes at him and asked for a picture where you sat on his lap. You spent a solid 15 minutes talking to the handsome alien. Your fingers touched his biceps here and there. You knew that he knew what you were implying, but he didn't refuse you either. At least not blatantly.
 "I apologized, my dear, but I think it's already time." Superman gently put you back on your feet. You gave him an upset face, but you knew it's time to go home. You bid the handsome man goodbye and sneaked a kiss on his cheeks. There's a twinge of pink on his cheeks, and you jump triumphantly at that reaction. Of course, behind his back.
 Following the word of 'exit' behind the piles of the crystal-like shape props, you opened the door. The scenery in front of you caught you off guard. The harshed white tundra scenery was replaced by now dark, almost jungly like one. Unconsciously you stepped back and turned your body to come back to the exit door. How shocked you were when it vanished. Disappear without a trace.
 As far as your eyes could see, it's only darkness and mist. Only the full moon aided your visions. The exhalation of your breath came out like a plume of white steam. It's definitely colder here than the fake Krypton one. The cold air seeped into your skin quickly as if you were actually in the deep of a forest.
 With a loud sigh, you walk straight. You tumbled and fell down on your knees as your boots got caught with something: either roots or a massive branch.
 Tired and frightened, you screamed loudly. You weren't sure if this was the continuation of the haunted house or not, but what you want right now just to be back in your apartment and soaked in a warm, relaxing bath.
 "Get me out of here!" you yelled again. There's a lot of sounds as if a lot of people stepping on branches. A screeching sound of an owl surprised you, but you tried to follow its direction with your ears.
 There's no way you will wait here and do nothing. Oh...my phone! You fished out your smartphone, but it showed no signal. "Shit!." you muttered.
 The sounds from a far away crept closed, and you knew it. "You can do it! There's nothing more frightening than that monster snake." tried to encourage yourself; you stood up and slowly navigated. You followed the noises that now closer, like an animalistic growl. It was so intense you can feel all the goosebumps rise up your skin.
 You weren't sure how long you have been walking, but you stopped suddenly when there's not only a pair but like 7 pairs of reddish eyes glowed in the dark.
 "Come here, little lamb. Don't follow that voice." a vaguely familiar voice distracted you from stepping forward.
 "Who the fuck are you, and why you get in my way just now." your voice came out hoarse. There's a twinge of fear in it, and you knew it. You felt like backed down wasn't the best option you had right now.
 "I said, come here, or else I can't even save you when they get you."
 You stilled as if you didn't hear him talking to you. "Wasn't this still one of the tricks from the haunted house? To let the people scramble in fear?"
 "Are you out of your mind? Come here right now, or I left you to death. They will either rip you apart or play your body like a ragdoll before one of them eats you."
 You screamed in horror as one pair of red eyes slowly came out. It's huge. Almost four feet of canine shook its fur.
 You were hyperventilating right now. Body rooted to the ground as you were surrendered. Welcoming your fate.
 "Fuck!"
 You heard a curse from behind your back. Maybe the stranger gave up and left you alone to be eaten by the wolves.
 The scrunched sound of leaves crushed was loud. Suddenly you felt strong arms hauled you upside down.
 Your eyes faced the skin of someone's back. You craned your neck a little bit to get a better view of the wolf. Screamed escaped your lips when you saw not only one but all of them, in a pack, chased both of you.
 "Stay still." The stranger yelled.
 Did the best thing to not get thrown out by his weird, fast speed, you secured your thumbs in his belt loops. He ran, escaped the pack inside the deep of what looked like a pine forest.
 You weren't sure how long you ran with him, but you felt that he's finally slowed down.
 When the thud thud sound reached your ears, you opened your eyes and saw that the stranger walked up a stair.
 You felt nauseated when he suddenly put you to sit on something that was apparently a countertop. The rushes of blood that circulated through your body made you regain your sense of surroundings.
 "Where am I?" you didn't mean to add an ungrateful tone in your sentence, but it was too late.
 The stranger eyed you like you were some sort of ungrateful bitch, which maybe you are. "At my cabin," he said flatly.
 You haven't had time to look at him in the forest, but now, under the actual lighting inside his house, what you saw might instantly make you drooled, which you already did right now. Stand up in front of you, a shirtless beefy tall man that's definitely more than six feet tall. He has short dark brown hair with a somewhat thick mustache that's complemented by a stubble. The front strands of his hair were loose and slightly curled. Looks likely due to all the running.
 The sudden chill of air made you shiver, and he didn't miss your reaction. He left you for a minute and came back with a rug. The sudden heat from it, when he draped the fabric on your shoulder made you let out a gasp of satisfaction.
 But the next thing you know, he ripped your stocking. You were shocked, eyeing him in horror. "What the fuck are you doing?!" You threw whatever things that's on your reach. The loud sound of glass hit the wall, and the strong grip on your wrist instantly made your stop.
 "Be still!" His azure irises left no room for confrontation. When you felt a sting on your knees, that's when you realized that he just pressed some gauze on it. Likely soaked with alcohol first. There's quite a prominent stain of blood on your legs, and it almost made you nauseated.
 "If you stop acting like a brat, you'll heal faster." He looked at you with that cocky smile of confidence. "Understood?"
 You just nodded at him. He continued to clean the blood and inspect the wounds. The position where you were sitting right now made it easier to study him carefully.
 Although you felt the temperature decreased significantly, the beefy stranger in front of you appeared very sweaty.
 Immediately your gaze ran down to his neck and continued its way to his chest and his abs. The unmistakable bulge under his pants made you squirm unconsciously. You were in a haze of fear and lust; you definitely insane.
 "Wha— what's your name, sir?"
 His strong gazed felt as if his eyes alone can subdue you. Maybe he has these laser eyes like Cyclops, your inner thought buzzed with speculation.
 "August. My name is August Walker. What's your name, little lamb?"
 How dare this man call you a little lamb? You cleared your throat and told him your name and where you were from.
 "New York? It's pretty far from here." He patched you up nicely. The water-resistant gauze looked really neat pressed on your knees and some on your shin. You were impressed.
 When your eyes returned to August, you gave him a smile that you hoped looked like a smile of gratitude. Not the kind of smile you always presented to any potential partner in bed, sultry, and flirtatious.
 "I— I haven't said anything but— thanks. Thank you for saving my life." Your left fingers instinctively pat his right arms. The feeling of his skin startled you. It's warm; in fact, it felt like he had a very high fever.
 "Are— are you alright? Your temperature feels off."
 "Don't mind me. Just take care of yourself."
 You knew there's something off with him, but you weren't sure if you had a clear mind to think right now. Not with the wolf pack outside and his words on New York being far away from here. Where the fuck am I?
 "I… I have a—,"
 "I suggest you stay here if you don't want to meet them."
 "But I…,"
 "You can use the bedroom there," his hand pointed to the door on the far end. "Feel free to use anything you want. Just don't come to the basement. I will meet you after a couple of days, and we figured things out."
 His authoritative voice and dominant persona immediately made you want to counter his suggestion. The funny thing was, looked like he sensed it.
 He approached you, face just inches away from you. Your eyes immediately glanced away from the delicious plane of his sweaty chest. His fingers drew your chin up, so both of your eyes were at the same level. "Do what I said, understand?. Thrust me; you don't want to know the consequences if you violate my suggestion."
 Suggestion, my ass! Your inner mind ready to throw insults at him, but you quickly held it back. In the end, you nodded at him obediently.
 —
 That night you were restless. But in a weird sense, you felt comfortable staying in that cabin. The first night after August left you to your own devices, you had been pretty careful. Not touched a lot of things except food and items that help you with your long bath.
 His cabin was quite spacious. The interior was a mix of something slicked and modern with an equal touch of classic. Tried to look homey. Not to mention his bathroom, it's super luxurious and made you feel at home instantly. Reminded you of your ex (sugar daddy's) bathroom.
 Since you couldn't find another bedroom in that cabin and you don't feel like sleeping on the couch, you slept in his bed instead. After all, he said you can use the bedroom there. Still wearing your red riding hood costume, you slipped under the soft comforter.
 After that, you woke up feeling a bit groggy. Aimlessly wandered around the kitchen, you weren't sure what to do first. Tried collecting your bearing, you tried to make a coffee. Or any equivalent things of it. Everything felt different; you just knew it. When the only thing you could find was several jars that you assumed were granules of tea, you brew it. You sat on the sofa that faced up a lake. The wall was made of glass, making everything well seen.
 You walked closer and gazed at the vast pine forest in front of you. The trees were tall and big, so majestic. Somewhat it's different from the pine trees you usually see. The lake in front of you looked like it had two different colors, fusion together with weird looking fishes and plants that should grow on the land instead of water. Where the fuck am I?
 The next day, you woke up feeling a little bit refreshed. You changed your slutty costume into one of the clothes you found in his closet. It was so soft and comfy. You knew when things were from high-quality material.
 You continued your days by drinking your tea, ate whatever breakfast you can munch, and read a book that has these unusual fonts. You were sure it wasn't in the alphabet, but one day you absentmindedly swipe your fingers on some of the pages, and the font changed. Hell, it even translated into English in an instant. You were definitely impressed.
 One thing you are sure of was, this place was strange. Wherever you were right now, it didn't look like it's on earth. Or the earth that you knew. Why were you so calm? Because you already freak out. After you freak out, you also wondered, did the haunted house event organizer realized that they were the culprit behind what the fuck happened to you right now? Did your housemate recognize that you weren't home for days? Or maybe she thought you fuck the Superman or perhaps found another sugar daddy? It was so absurd yet so real.
 The last two nights, you were struck in awe as your eyes were spoiled by two moons. Two fuckin moons. It was always quiet at night, but you heard all the howls that you suspected likely from the pack of those giant wolves.
 It was pretty late, almost midnight. You finally found your small bag hindered under the sofa that evening. Now…, now you had some time to check it. The first thing you checked was if there's a signal. Definitely no signal at all.
 You curled up on August bed while swiping the pictures on your phone. When you scrolled your pictures with Superman, you realized why August seems familiar. It was none other than August having quite the same face, the same build, even somewhat similar voices with Superman.
 "Fuck...maybe I should ask August if he would like to be my Daddy while I'm here." Imagining him spoiled you with gifts and other physical attention made you chuckled at yourself.
 Your fingers instinctively crawled under the gray long sleeve shirt you borrowed from his closet (again). Your brain projected an image as if it was August's hands that ran on your upper thigh. Find its way quickly to your wet core. Two fingers slipped under the black lace panty. The panty that you need to wash daily due to no other replacement available. Left you a couple hours with only his buttoned-up shirt without anything underneath.
 The sound of a loud howl startled you. It was as if it circled you in close range. Moved as fast as you can, you snatched the oversize robe on you. Your eyes tried to creep behind the curtain in the bedroom.
 You knew the owner of this cabin stated that you can't go to the basement. You wouldn't be so lucky if that giant wolf found you first and broke in. Although you haven't been really out of the cabin, you tried to inspect a little bit and found it odd that this cabin was apparently a treehouse-style cabin. How come there's a basement in the house.
 You exit the bedroom and go to the kitchen when you last saw August a couple nights ago. Next to the slick wooden cabinet was a particular thing that looked like a door. The surface of your palms works like a stethoscope, felt as if something with pressure from your hands. You tried not to get disturbed by the nonstop howl outside. When you hear something as if the door was shifted, you immediately step back.
 "Oh my, finally…," you slipped inside the small door when it opened automatically. It was a small narrow corridor-like, and it was dark. Walk inside carefully, you follow the path that leads you to another door. The metal door let out a weird creaked as you pushed it open.
 "Didn't I tell you not to come down here?"
 Shocked was evident in your face when you heard his rather gruff tone. You step over, closer to where he sat, that looks more likely an even bigger size of the bed than the one he had upstairs.
"Don't —,"
 He warned you, but you being you, could never obey orders. Although challenging, your eyes finally adapt to the only natural light from the glass wall. That said, you were totally confused as you can see the lake parallel to your eyes.
 "What the… wait, how there's even a basement down here? Last time I checked, the cabin is a treehouse?"
 "It's camouflage. No one can't see it or enter from outside."
 "Holy… why there's a three moon?" you switched your gaze from the moon to August. Curiosity got the better of you when you saw his irises were now pale blue. You can still see the outer form that is August, but something was off.
 A gasp escaped your lips as August rose up from the bed. The powerful moon shone his feature. He was taller, bulkier, and dangerous as he stalked towards you slowly. Your heart thumped erratically as you were cornered. Back supported by the glass wall as now you can see August in his other form.
 "Holy shit. Wha—what are you?"
 "Told you not to go here, and you just can't listen, little lamb." his smirk turned maniacal as he looked at the fear on your face. His white fangs, longer than usual. His fingers also look unusual, claw-like.
 "Are you— are you a werewolf?"
 "Well...you can say that. I'm half human half wolf if you are curious."
 "So why— why did you save me?"
 The tip of his nose inched closer to yours. You held your breath when his warm skin touched you. It moved to your left cheek and stopped near your ear. "I'm curious," he whispered.
 "I haven't really met a pure human in the same age range. So I have followed you since I saw you step out of that door. I follow you until you meet the other wolf pack, and I decide to help you instead of fulfilling my need."
 "What need?" you asked him, dumbfounded.
 "This," he pulled away from you, his claw-like finger pointed out below his hip. Focusing on the long and hard appendage that was unmistakably, his cock.
 "Oh—I- I'm sorry?" you gave him your best apologetic face. Eyes seemed eager to stare longer, but you gazed away quickly. Wait, why did you apologize to him? You cleared your throat, "I— I actually not sure what I should do to help?" tilted your head to the right, you looked him in the eyes, almost challenged him.
 Despite almost getting eaten by wolves, August's menacing presence didn't really scare you. Maybe the fact that he was still human and less scary made it easy for you. Not to mention he's hot too, with all his glory.
 His somewhat evil chuckled sent shivers down your spine. "If you really wanted to help, I think you know what to do, don't you?"
 "W-wait—is—does this mean we 'mate'?" you gave him a somewhat weird expression. "And—and you bite me, give me marks that I'm yours? And knot me, and I will have a litter of puppies, and I become your omega—,"
 His pale blue eyes stared at you as if you grew two heads. It softened immediately as he smiled. Broad one showed you a set of white teeth with extra long fangs.
 "Oh, my little lamb...what have you read?"
 "Err— Omega verse? Fanfic?"
 He blinked. Gave you a quizzical expression.
 "It's— it's erotica. Where mostly the character you know—," you darted your eyes away from August. "—mate, err have sex. Mostly was written very explicitly."
 "Go on." He said.
 "They are wolves, scenting, imprinting. An alpha mates with omega, and it's been told in a variety of plots possible. Sometimes two alphas fight too." You were breathless. You didn't realize you explained it to him in a quick, incoherent way.
 You staggered backward as he came closer, forgetting that you already cornered. His long fingers reached out to the white robe you put on you. Although his fingers had claws that looked alarming to you, his hand still skillfully unfastened the robe.
 "That's a bit of an exaggeration, I think. Pack and hierarchies usually form just for a mating season; they hunt together for food and shelter in the winter. We might be scenting people, I guess. After all, we have a very sensitive sense of smell. But no, we don't bite our mate." He took off the robe from your body, left you only with his grey buttoned-up shirt.
 "Well...I love that you are wearing my shirt as if you are mine already."
 You purse your lips at him. "Why aren't you in a pack? Isn't it a mating season?"
 "I mostly can control myself during the full moon. That's the advantage of being half-human. I don't need to transform myself into a wolf and be in a pack. But I am an alpha if that's what you are curious about."
 "Can-can you turn back to your human form? Not like—you know, you aren't in your human form, bu—," your words were cut off by his thumb on your lips.
 "You talk too much, aren't you, little lamb…," August leaned down and touched his lips to yours. Your first reaction was to freeze since you were afraid of his fangs. But his surprisingly soft lips coaxed you relentlessly, making you surrender as you closed your eyes. Opening your mouth, his tongue sneaked past your lips easily. His fangs poke at your lower lips, but it didn't hurt.
 The non so innocent kiss became more desperate. Your once shied tongue now dances together with August. Your once clasped palms that were situated on top of your chest now scraped at his shoulder.
 Your eyes fluttered open as August nipped down from your jaw to your neck. Forgotten, you even close your eyes in the first place. His claw-like fingers unbuttoned his shirt on yours without difficulty, left you only in your black lace panty.
 The feeling of temperature as if dropped significantly made you glued your body to August. Smooth skin of your chest pressed to his hot hairy one, seeking warmth. One hand secured behind your back while the other palm on your ass. Massage the globe there.
 "Ohh…" you gasped as you felt his finger on your clothed core.
 "Hmm… wet already, I see." he let the pad of his finger move up to your clit, while the movement of the claw added sensation to your already. Seeing your reaction, he repeated it a couple times. Made you a mess with only one of his fingers.
 Arched your body a little bit, you were thrilled to see his expression. Traveled your hands down from his hairy chest; your eyes still focused on his face, while your palms found their way to his hard cock.
 "Oh, so big…," slowly at first, you ran your hands at the tip of his cock. Even without looking at it, you knew it's definitely bigger than any cock you've ever seen.
 Eyes widened as your hand slid down to the base. The other weighed his balls. "Holy…," your eyes looked down, stared in awe at his cock.
 "Careful little lamb, you drooled on it."
 "Who's not?" You eyed him in disbelief.
 August let out a weird laugh, "I expect you to worship it, then." He looked at you with a bemused expression as you quickly worked on his length. Stroked it up and down repeatedly.
 You go down on your knees, eyes crossed as you focused on his slit that oozed pre-cum. Unconsciously, you stuck out your tongue and brushed it on his slit. Wrapped your right hand at the base of his cock, your gaze rose up to meet his. Left handheld on his upper thigh for support as your lips covered the heat of his cock. You bobbed your head calculatedly as you accommodate him halfway.
 "Such a good little lamb for your wolf, aren't you." August's right hand was at the back of your head as he nudged you none too gently. Made you choke at his cock, and pulled it out from your mouth. You gazed at the mix of your saliva and his precum in awe. But it didn't last long as August pulled you to your feet and picked you up.
 He climbed up on the bed with you and laid on his back. He situated your hips and pulled it closer, so your opening was hovering on top of his face. On all four, for him. August was rewarded with a yelped and a moan as his tongue licked your clothed core.
 The sound of fabric being ripped made you turn your head to the right. "That's my only pa— ohhh," your protest died right away as his tongue lapped your opening. The feel of his claws as he spread your ass cheeks added wonder to your pussy.
 Trying to keep yourself busy, you swallowed the head of his cock for a starter. His cock was too big for you; your mouth can only allow half of it. Diligently, you tried to move your tongue while you suck on his cock, hands slid up and down. Feeling all the veins that encircled his length made you shuddered.
 August bucked his hips as you put one of your hands to massaging his balls. The action made you gagged as his cock entered further than before. But it didn't take a long time for you to stop due to his sudden attack on your pussy.
 His tongue was not lapped at you anymore; it rammed inside your wet core like a starved man. You squealed as the end of his fangs scrapped at your now wet pussy. The pressure on your clit as the pad of his fingers made a circular motion left you breathless. It drove you to your high faster than you ever experienced. A surprised scream left off your lips as his tongue scraped your most sensitive part. Your body quivered as your inner walls spasm, hands held on his cock as you ride your high.
 "Ohh— my god, ohh—my god—," you can still feel the kitten licked as August feasted on it.
 "Ahh—that' s—that's good." You let your head rested on his left thigh.
 "Now, for the main course." August's gruff tone pulled you back from your hazy state. His hard cock was evident on your right hand.
 You felt your body shifted position, and now you were on your back. August spread your legs wide and shifted his position. The feeling of his heavy cock on top of your pussy made you nervous but also excited. Unconsciously you nibbled your forefingers while eyes traveled down to his long and hard cock. It made an up and down motion on your opening. You can feel your wet pussy clenched in frustration, ready to be filled.
 "August please…," still nibbled at your fingers, you gaze at the wolf on top of you, one elbow supporting your upper body. He's so big, literally and figuratively. If you can't come back to your world, so be it. You didn't mind staying and being his plaything as long as he wanted you.
 "Please, what my little lamb?" You pouted at that. You definitely weren't a little lamb. If anything, you should be the succubus.
 "Please put that in me—," you writhed underneath him.
 "Please put what?" His big body tower over you. His pupils dilated and only left a small ring of pale blue irises. His clawed fingers move up and down your thigh.
 "Ple—please, ohhhh, put that cock inside me! Fuck me, my wolf— nhhh—," your plead was answered when August suddenly pushed the head of his cock on your opening.
 The back of your head fell to rest on the thick pillow as the intrusion of August's cock sent a surprising jolt on your body. You knew he's big. But when his cock finally spread your lips open and entered you, the overwhelming sensation was something you still didn't expect.
 "Ohh— so big—," your pussy clenched immediately when August tried to push deeper but also slowly. The noticeable ridge of his vein scraped at your inner wall deliciously. With closed eyes, you gripped the edge of the pillow as you mumbled about how full you feel right now.
 "Work your clit for me. Yes...make that tight pussy cream on my cock."
 "Oh—like this?" Your fore and middle fingers slowly pulled the hood and made a circular motion as August asked.
 "Yes… Just like that…."
 It didn't take you long enough to feel the fast buildup on your lower belly. Something that never happened before. "Ohh—yes—I'm going to cum, my—ahhh," you work your clit faster as August cock made a shallow fuck inside you.
 "Yes, cum on my cock, my little lamb. I want to see your pretty face when you cum for your wolf." His wolf tone deliciously affected your body. His growl sent an extra twitch on your clit. And you lose it when he thrust all the way inside your wet pussy.
 You scream in ecstasy as your pussy quivered uncontrollably on his hard cock. You feel so full. The feeling of his cock all the way inside you made your brain feel as if it was submerged. Forgotten that you ever closed your eyes, you were rewarded by a sly smirk on August werewolf's face. His eyes were now all dark. His hair loosened, made the curls of it fall to his forehead.
 "I see you enjoying yourself, my little lamb." His claws caressed your thigh gently.
 "Nnn—of course, I ahhh—I am." A little movement from August made you aware that his cock still inside you. Hard as a rock.
 August lifted up both your knees and secured it with his hands. You lifted your upper body with your elbows as he retrieved his cock from your wet core. You gasped when you witnessed August pulled it out, inches by inches. Left only the head inside you.
 You moaned when he pushed again. Stretched you like no one else ever had. He did it slowly, knew that you still adapt to his girth. But the feeling when the tip of his cock scraped your most sensitive part every time he thrust inside you, you were tripped to your high even faster than before.
 The moan of pleasure became incoherent as August sped up his pace. Repeated syllables of ahhh and ohhh accompanied your plead for him to fuck you like you were a female wolf. Released his pent up frustration to mate.
 Both of you fuck like an animal who just needs to reproduce. Lust clouded the atmosphere in the room. Moaned and growled were sung like a prayer under the moonlight that shone its way to the basement.
 His balls slapped against your ass every time he plugged in inside you. Sweats trickled down your body, and it looked even animalistic in August. His werewolf form was so majestic that you just wholly let him own you.
 His feracious fucking looked like almost to its limit. The buzzed on your lower belly was ready to explode, but you held it.
"Fuck!" He growled.
 "Uhh—uhh—uhh—cum in me. Yes—cum in me, my wolf— filled me up with your thick hot cum!" You pleaded like a bitch in heat.
 August slammed his cock deep inside you as he screamed and let out a long howl. The feel of his warm cum inside you triggered your orgasm. You wail as your inner walls contracted and squeezed his cock. Spurt and spurt of his cum filled your womb to the brim. Something that you never allowed any of your partners to do in the past.
 You didn't realize that you lock both your ankles behind August ass. But also you sensed something changed. August was draped on top of your body, head sneaked at the crook of your neck. Still, in a haze caused by the release of oxytocin in your bloodstream, you missed the way August kissed turned into something more. He bit you.
 The still clouded brain of yours pop-up an image of you becoming August omega. His only mate. Bear a litter of pups for him and live happily ever after in his house, in his world. Your pussy unconsciously clenched at his cock that was still inside you. You never really said this to anyone, but you imagine you live in another world since the first time you ever read a story about omega verse.
 You mewled when the biting stopped. Maybe August bit you just for fun. When he craned his head up to look at you, something was different. His eyes turned back to his azure color. His fangs now short, back to its regular human teeth, and his body wasn't as hairy as he's before. He's practically not in his werewolf form anymore.
 "You changed? Why?"
 He looked at you with his quizzical expression. "You wanted me to return to my werewolf form?"
 You glanced away from him and kind of embarrassed to declare that his werewolf form was way hotter than his human form. Not that his human form wasn't hot either. Damn, you definitely bang him every time you can, but his werewolf form just made you curl your toes in an instant.
 You cleared your throat and looked him in the eyes, "I like it very much."
 "Well...the full moon is still in the sky for quite some time. Are you ready for the next round, my little lamb?"
 "Yes, my wolf." You purred seductively at him and witnessed in delight his transformation before your eyes.

As the world caves in. (Farlen x reader)
Tumblr media
Synopsis: Farlen is a new member of the Survey Corps and you're attracted to him the second you lay eyes on him.
You'd been talking with Hange about it all night into the morning. The new recruits from the underground. You couldn't help it, when you wanted something you just had to have it no matter what.
"You're telling me he's not cute to you?" You asked as you leaned your back against the table, looking at Hange upside down.
"You always worry about the wrong things." Hange replied, with a strained smile.
"Doesn't matter.." You replied, seeing the group of three entering as you spoke. The three of them really never separated. It annoyed you a little that you couldn't find an opening to get him alone. "I'm gonna talk to them before you do!" You smirked and with that you were up.
"Y/N!!" You heard Hange hiss but the noise was quickly dissipating as you walked further into the crowd.
You slowed your pace a little staring in the opposite direction of Farlen, Isabel and Levi perfectly placing yourself at the right angle. And-
His cup clattered to the floor with a pretty obnoxious thud. You grunted, that wasn't quite what you had in mind..
"Geez, you can't watch where you're going?" He huffed, reaching down to pick up the empty cup.
"Yeah! What's up with you!" Isabel added
You smiled, leaning in a little closer. "Oh.. sorry, I didn't see you there. But now that I'm looking I'm intrigued."
His blue eyes widened and his lips parted staring at you with slightly furrowed brows. "You're.. Farlen aren't you? And you're Isabel and Levi?" You asked even though you knew pretty much everything that Mike and Erwin knew about them.
"Who's asking?" Isabel huffed, crossing her arms.
"I'm Y/N, I've been in the survey corps for almost two years now. I've heard a lot about you guys." You explained "Though I was never made aware of someone so cute joining our ranks."
"Eww." You heard Isabel whisper. Levi just glared, eyebrow slightly raised.
"I-I uh.. Me? You think I'm cute?.." Farlen asked
Now Levi's stare was turning into one of disbelief angled at Farlen. "Hmm." You just hummed as a reply leaning in closer to him. "Uggh I can't believe I ruined your shirt.. and spilled your drink. I'll go get you another one, ok." You remarked and with a little bounce you were walking away to get him a drink replacement.
You managed to find the table where the three of them were sitting easily though as soon as you approached the conversation between them seemed to die off.
"Here you go and listen if you need any help getting the stains out-" You leaned into his ear feeling a spark run through you at the sudden jolt of his body from your presence. "I'm always around."
And with that you circled on your heels, hips swaying right back to your table. You plopped down in front of Hange trying to ignore the roll of her eyes.
"You can't try to get with any of them. You should know that the commander is not gonna be happy about this."
"Aw let him not be happy. The man never smiles anyway."
"Not a shred of life preservation exists in you does it?" Hange laughed
You turned to look over at Farlen your chin resting on your palm. A little shocked that he was already looking at you. You sent him a wink and his skin bloomed pink as he swiveled around. You almost laughed.
"No one in this very room has a shred of life preservation. A wise woman once said, take as you may a sexy man while you're still young and before you get defiled by titans."
"You definitely just made that up." Hange replied, setting aside her book and picking up her cup of water.
~~~~
"Jeez Hange it's so late at night. Aren't you tired?" You asked
Your feet were kicked up onto her desk as you stared down at the notes in front of you. Your yawn was the thing that actually made her look up from the mountain of books stacked in front of her.
"If you're tired take a break."
The chair clattered against the floor as you stood arms outstretched above your head. "I'll be back in a couple minutes." You remarked
Helping Hange so late at night wasn't exactly your favorite thing to do but you did love walking through the empty corridors at this time. Staring out at the deep blue of the night sky with stars dotted over it like a huge tapestry. Air filling your lungs from open windows and the soft flicker of candlelight keeping you company.
Though tonight you heard voices. Slightly inaudible but definitely more than one voice. You slipped around a corner, tilting your head as the sound grew. After a little more walking aimlessly you could fully hear the conversation and each person individually.
You smiled a little when you recognized Farlen's voice on the other side of the door. With zero hesitation you pushed it open. Farlen's eyes immediately widened and his mouth hung open while Levi and Isabel's faces scrunched up.
"What're we talking about?" You giggled playfully
"Don't you ever mind your business!" Isabel huffed, her cheeks puffing cutely.
You smiled at her. "I can't help it.. the gossip around here is amazing."
Before you could completely register his movements Levi was forcing you out of the room, shoving your shoulders back against thick walls. You winced at the sudden pressure and the pain flowing through the back of your neck.
"This has nothing to do with you. You should butt out while you still can."
You blinked at him, his dark eyes honestly intense enough that for a second you did feel a bit intimidated.
"Levi.." Farlen tried
Levi backed up slightly and Farlen stepped forward a little. "How much did you here?"
You giggled looking down at the ground. "What? About your plan to kill Erwin and steal some documents from him?"
"Now can I take her out?!" Isabel huffed but Farlen just pushed her back.
His blue eyes wavered a bit and he stepped a little closer. "How do you know that?"
"Lucky guess.."
"Don't fuck with me."
You sighed in mock defeat. "I didn't hear your conversation. I've known there was something off about you guys since day one but if I wanted to talk I would've already."
"Why would you not rat us out? What possible reason could you have for keeping our secret, you know your precious commander could die and it'll partially be your fault." Farlen said
You rolled your eyes bringing a hand smoothly up Farlen's arm, squeezing his shoulder blade a bit before resting your fingertips against the back of his neck, thumb softly stroking his jawline.
"I wasn't lying when I said I think you're cute Farlen so I couldn’t bare to see anything bad happen to you."
Isabel made a sound like she was gagging and she turned away. Farlen's hand came up to yours gripping it with surprising roughness he pulled it away from his face.
"We have a mission here. You need to stay out of it." He said letting go of your hand.
Levi gave you one last glare before they were all turning but your words made Farlen look back. "You should know at no point will you ever have to trust me. But I doubt anyone you ever meet will come at you with this much intensity completely based on pursuing a relationship." You turned and now Isabel and Levi were watching too. "Hope you succeed." You said
And with that you were gone. Surprisingly you felt a pang in your chest. You couldn't help the grunt that slipped off your lips into the quiet hallway as you gripped your shirt between your fingertips increasing your pace.
By morning the stack of papers on Hange's desk had diminished slightly and honestly you were surprised. The mountain seemed completely unmovable but now you could see Hange's face without having to move your head.
"Ok!" Hange announced causing you to flinch. "We did a sizable amount of work!" She patted your head giving you a light thumbs up.
"Without a lick of sleep." You yawned
"You're off tonight so you can sleep then." Hange retorted, heading to the door.
"What about now??"
"Training starts right now. You head out I have to get these papers to the Commander."
You groaned loudly as you exited the cramped space. Though it felt nice to stretch the noises your back made when you did so were less than nice. You twisted your shoulders first to the left and then to the right as you walked, little details from last night flooding your memory.
It had been nice to not have them for a while. Your thoughts completely bombarded all night with paperwork and Hange's chatter. You didn't mind spending so much time with her, especially since Hange really was the only person in the survey corps you considered a friend.
Though your brain continually played everything over again on a steady loop. Farlen's words echoing off your skull.
We have a mission here. You need to stay out of it.
The same pang returned but slightly duller. You just ignored it. It took a few minutes to get your gear on and as soon as you did you rushed out to the clearing, feeling the wind brush past your face. The feeling soothing in comparison to the hot room you'd been in all night.
It only took a few minutes for you to get to the clearing. Immediately being called to do drills with your odm gear. You ran past Farlen who happened to be standing next to Isabel and this time you didn't say a word.
Two hours had passed and training was starting to slow as people jumped off their horses and sat themselves down to drink. You sat where you always did, on top of one of the fences to watch as everyone talked and sometimes laughed with each other.
"You don't hang out with anyone?" You jumped, hoping it didn't look as dorky as it felt. Farlen stood by your side, his soft blue eyes illuminated by the glaring sun that washed over every inch of territory around here.
"Hey." You replied looking back out towards the captains standing together conversing.
"Can I.. sit?" He pointed awkwardly to the fence by your side.
You nodded, bringing your water back up to your lips. You glanced over at him through the corner of your eye and he shrunk where he sat.
"Didn't know what you were gonna say before you came over here?"
"I don't.." Farlen sighed, playing with his fingers in his lap. "Look.. I.. it's good that you like me. I'm sorry. I've never had a girl or anyone feel this way towards me.."
"What makes you think I still do?" The flicker in his eyes as he looked back up to you made you waver. "Sorry I'm kidding."
He huffed with a playful roll of his eyes, looking back down to his hands. "Isabel and Levi don't want me to hang around you.. or to talk to you at all.."
It was hard not to say all the thoughts currently clouding your mind. Even if you knew you shouldn't say something you normally said it anyway but somehow you managed to suppress the urge.
"I.. I don't really know anything about girls or relationships or anything like that but at the moment I have to focus on my mission and once that's done.. me and Isabel and Levi are gonna leave this place.. I'm sorry."
You leaned closer to him. "What do you think of me?"
"When?"
You giggled, "Now? In general? When we first met?"
He paused staring into your eyes. "Now.. I think you're.. close." You pressed a kiss to his cheek. "In general.. I'm not sure." He continued
His hair clung messily to his forehead and you couldn't help but brush any stray hairs aside. His entire face seemed to not only flush color but heat as well. His gaze transfixed, not pulling away or moving closer.
"When we first met?"
He gulped, "Beautiful.."
"Hmm?"
"I.. thought you were beautiful."
Your smile was almost shitty as you reached over to his other cheek pressing a slightly longer kiss on it.
"You're not so bad yourself."
"I feel like you're trying to make this difficult." He hummed you were surprised when his forehead came down to rest on yours.
"If there's one thing I've learned from the Survey Corps-" You brushed your knuckles against his, slipping your thumb over the back of his hand. "It's do what you can while you still can."
You squeezed his hand once more separating yourself as Levi and Isabel started to approach. With one last shrug you were off.
There was a mission outside the walls tomorrow so you'd gone to bed incredibly early considering your usual track record.
Around what had to be 12 am you were awoken by a couple sharp knocks on the door of your shared room. Your roommate huffed in agitation and you slid out of bed. You wrenched open the door fully intent on letting the person on the other end have it-
"Hey.." Farlen exhaled as if he’d been holding his breath.
"Wh-" You paused rubbing your eye as you looked over at Isabel and Levi their scowls enough evidence that they were here against their will.
"I needed to see you again." Farlen explained
"Well, twelve am is the impromptu time for bringing your friends to someone's room." His face fell and heat rose to your cheeks. "Sorry, I get sarcastic when I'm sleepy."
"You were sleeping this early?" Isabel asked
You shrugged with a soft smile. "I don't have the endurance you guys do."
"She's not like us Isabel." Farlen muttered
"Is that why you like her?" Levi questioned though it sounded more like a statement.
Farlen's face turned probably the brightest red you'd ever seen. "Oh so you do like me?" You said smirk evident.
"I've.. I said it before.."
"Not in those words." You moved closer and Isabel grunted.
"It's getting gross again.." She remarked "I hope you didn't bring us here to watch you make out with her."
"No! Shut up!"
You hummed. "Shame, though if you'd come alone we could've done a little more than make out." Your fingers played with the top button on his shirt shifting over to the collar, gaze never faltering from Farlen.
"Tell her already." Levi huffed, eyebrows pinching together.
"The mission is tomorrow. After the mission we're.. leaving we'll have succeeded in our mission." Farlen said You tilted your head backing away a bit."We'll be citizens though. Which means maybe.. you could come visit sometime?"
For the first time since you'd met them Isabel and Levi actually looked apologetic.. Isabel more her big eyes soft. Levi's face mostly the same as always though his eyes wavered.
"If you choose to come to us because you wanna visit Farlen, then me and Levi bro will be cool with that. Right Levi bro?"
Levi sighed but didn't say a word. You looked back to Farlen, his features twisted with concern as he took in your expression.
"I hope you'll be happy up here on the surface."
"Wait, what.."
"What kind of life did you want up here Farlen?" Your fingers crept into his hair pushing the strands aside to press a soft kiss to his forehead. Your free hand squeezed his wrist.
"A life where I'd be free with Isabel and Levi."
"And now?"
".. Now I want you too. I wanna see where it could go.."
You rested your head on his shoulder. "Do you think it's possible?"
You felt his chin swiping back and forth against the back of your head and you sighed. "You're right."
With one final squeeze to his chin you tugged yourself away from his warm grasp. "Good night guys." Your door was opening and then closing just as quickly.
It hadn't been raining when you guys first set out but by the smell of things you could tell it was gonna get dangerous out here soon.
"Split up in your groups! Don't lose sight of each other!" Erwin shouted over the onslaught of rain.
You could hear distant shouts and some fading gallops as the groups quickly followed orders. People are gonna start dropping fast you thought. You looked straight ahead catching Farlen's gaze as it fell back on you.
Right now the only people surrounding you were Isabel, Farlen and Levi. Gripping the reins on your house you trekked along with them keeping an even pace. The other's from your group had basically vanished and as much as Farlen's eyes boring holes into the back of your neck made you wanna do the same you stuck close.
Fate would do terrible things to those who strayed from the group.
"I'm going to grab the documents. Now while the storm is distracting everyone." You heard Levi yell to Farlen.
"You better not get hurt!"
"You got this Levi bro!" Isabel called in her normal playfully brash way.
Levi huffed and with a final "stay safe" he was speeding off.
"Should he really be going off by himself in a storm like this?" You asked, pulling your horse up next to Isabel.
"Don't worry Y/N, Levi bro is one of the toughest guys to come out of the underground. He'd never be beaten by titans or Erwin."
Farlen turned to look at you, "What if I stayed?"
"Huh? Stayed where?" Water was pouring down the hood of your cape into your eyes but you blinked it away.
"I could stay in the Survey Corps. We could stay in the survey corps!" Farlen announced
Isabel shook her head chaotically. "That wasn't in the plan Farlen!"
"You're not staying in the Corps for me!"
"But-"
"If you have the option of a better life you should definitely take it."
"How will I know which version of life would be better for me? Nothing is completely decided yet and we can still talk to Levi and-"
"ISABEL!" You yanked at your horse’s reins not even slightly prepared for the way you were thrown off. Your horse skidding in the collected mud.
Isabel's scream was silenced almost immediately as a huge titan with long black hair gulped and then regurgitated her head, swallowing down her limps with ease.
"Piece of shit!" Farlen yelled
"Farlen no!"
Farlen landed on the grass with a hard thud. His eyes wide and mouth hung in a wide O. A gasp fell off his lips and you looked to him a shooting pain flooding your right side. You heard his gasp once more eyesight hazy.
"Farlen.." You breathed out suddenly taking in the harsh reality of spreading pain. Blood running cold down your legs. "You're even beautiful now."
“Y/N!”
