Hi I don't know if your requests are open or who you write for, but if you write for Shinsou can I get a Shinsou in love headcanon list? ♡

Hello!! I've never written Shinsou before but I'll try :3 It's a little bit longer than the post about Katsuki in love but I hope you like it ❤️

A/N: Shinsou always striked me as an overthinker.

💜 Shinsou in love is very self aware. He was quick to admit to himself that you were his type since the moment he saw you from a distance, and even if it made him feel troubled, he noticed pretty much immediately when those feelings started to develop as something else, something more.

💜 Shinsou in love had never approached someone he liked before so he was kind of awkward the whole time until he decided there was nothing else he could do other than gather some courage and tap on your shoulder to just say whatever.

💜 Shinsou in love made a total of two attempts to strike a conversation with you, but because you didn’t completely understand how his quirk worked you got caught by it almost instantly both times. It was too embarrassing for him, embarrassing to the point he didn’t want to risk it again a third time; and to make things worse, it made him fall a little bit self conscious about his quirk like in the old times.

💜 Shinsou in love who dropped any thoughts of ever going to get anywhere with you because of this issue, and decided to let his crush die with time.

💜 Shinsou in love who never expected to be the type to experience a pinch in his heart when seeing his crush from afar.

💜 Shinsou in love who after a few months thought of a different approach because giving up so soon seemed a bit lame. He came up with the idea of getting closer to you by trying to get along with the people who were usually around you and with whom he didn’t mind messing up with. He failed. He had never been the popular type, anyways –people were usually scared of him for being the quiet, serious guy with the bad attitude.

💜 Shinsou in love who called it quits and told himself this wasn’t that big of a deal.

💜 Shinsou in love who eventually stopped checking social media as often as he usually did because you kept popping out on his feed. He didn’t want to block you or unfollow you because he didn’t want you to get the wrong idea. He got a new hobby instead, doing crafts. He wasn’t that good at it either to be honest, but he needed something to kill time –and to keep his mind busy, distract himself.

💜 Shinsou in love who began to avoid places you usually frequented because any progress he felt he made about overcoming his crush shattered the moment he saw you somewhere.

💜 Shinsou in love who accidentally made friends with someone you knew on a random day. He found out when that person introduced you to him during a friend’s night out and he couldn't believe his luck.

💜 Shinsou in love whose heart squeezed and whose stomach did a little flip when after a few outs together he realized you had learn about how to communicate with him without falling for his quirk. He suspected your common friend taught you how, after noticing the way Shinso went quiet around you not to set you up by accident.

💜 Shinsou in love who made his best to keep his face from showing what finally being able to have silly, random conversations with you did to him.

💜 Shinsou in love whose number you got from the group chat and you messaged once to send him a video you talked about to him during lunch.

💜 Shinsou in love who, despite himself, since then tried to come up with endless excuses to keep texting you in your private chat.

💜 Shinsou in love who at last found himself staring at his ceiling at three in the morning on a random thursday, his phone screen lighting up the dark of his room. He had realized what he felt for you was beyond a crush after he caught himself rereading for the third time the texts you two had been sending to each other until late hours of the night, when it became too hard for you to stay up and you had to apologize to go to bed.

💜 Shinsou in love who felt his chest hurt, laying on his bed and covering his eyes with both hands, trying to think how to get himself out of this mess. What hunted him the most was the fact that you were as nice and dedicated to everyone as you were to him. It was quite obvious to him that you just saw him as a friend.

💜 Shinsou in love that couldn’t think of confessing without feeling like he was overstepping and putting you into an awkward position.

💜 Shinsou in love who tried once again to swallow his feelings but started to feel suffocated by them.

💜 Shinsou in love who never expected to be this kind of a coward.

💜 Shinsou in love who stood up, turned his nightlight on and grabbed pen and paper, and told himself to just ‘get it over with’.

💜 Shinsou in love who wrote his confession in the form of an apology and put it on his pocket. He told himself he had one week to give this to you because if he kept delaying this whole deal there was no way his feelings wouldn’t eventually mess with your friendship.

💜 Shinsou in love who gave you the letter feeling like an idiot one night outside of a restaurant after having dinner with your group of friends. As he handed it over, he told you that if you decided not to bring up the letter after that night he would know what it meant, and would do his best not to ever mention it again either.

💜 Shinsou in love who got startled when you suddenly jumped to hug him without even looking at the letter. You knew exactly what it said without reading it because of the way he avoided your eyes while he handed it to you, and because you felt exactly the same way.

💜 Shinsou in love who after his initial shock hugged you back and buried his nose on your neck.

💜 Shinsou in love who got just a tiny bit emotional about it but will forever deny it.

shinsou who knows he’s not a good boyfriend. he loves you more than anything, anyone- and he thinks he always will. but he’s a bad boyfriend. he’s a pro hero, and you never fault him for that. but that means he constantly misses dates and anniversaries. whenever he comes home to your excited face he can’t help it whenever he’s out as soon as he hits the pillow. he’s not the best at communicating, and seeing you try to keep your composure whenever he does something that makes you angry makes his love for you grow. because even though he’s a horrible boyfriend- you’re the best partner he could ever imagine. when he misses the dinner he promised he’d be home for since you had a new recipe you wanted to try, he found a cat shaped sticky note taped to the table reading “I know you’re probably starving, so I left you a plate in the microwave! <3” whenever he pushes you off of him because he’s too tired too overstimulated too much, you hide the hurt and tell him you understand with a sympathetic smile. when he comes back from a rough day, you’ve seen it all on the news, you welcome him with his comfiest pajamas in your hands and gentle touches. but he sees it wearing you down. he sees the permanent furrow in your brow that was never there before. he sees that you’ve stopped waiting up for him (and even though he told you to it still hurts). he sees that this relationship can’t be saved, no matter how many heart shaped bandages you carefully place on the cracks. but he can’t bring himself to break up with you-even knowing you’ll be happier in the long run.

“babe?”

“yeah toshi-“ you freeze, mind clouded in a thick fog.

“break up with me.”

the hurt that is painted across your face once he releases you from his quirk is something he’ll never forget.

Shinsou

Shinsou was so chill about everything, you felt comfortable enough to not mask your behaviors.

And he didn’t pay them any mind until someone else pointed out that they weren’t typical.

Which he didn’t take very kindly.

They were offered a glare, “Are you saying [Name] has a problem?”

You had to hold back the laugh that wanted to escape from his protectiveness, “Well, it’s not a problem as much as a–um–condition.”

“Huh?”

“They’re right, I don’t—I don’t have normal behaviors, since I’m autistic,” you explained.

“Oh, I know you are,” he shrugged, “I just don’t find any issue with it. It’s a part of you and I like you, so it didn’t make sense to make a big deal of it like it’s bad or something.”

He admitted that he noticed your tics and traits but quickly grew used to them and continued as normal.

He thought you were perfect for him, you were sensitive to touch, and he wasn’t a touchy guy.

In the past, you would feel bad that you couldn’t touch him like most couples did. You’d force yourself to hold his hand despite the anxiety. Until he told you he wasn’t a big fan, either.

You were direct, which was a trait he respected and valued.

And he honestly wasn’t much of a conversationalist himself, so he didn’t mind the communication issues you had.

And despite you not understanding many emotions, you easily flustered him.

“Shinsou, your Quirk is so cool, you know that?”

“You did a good job. I’m proud of you.”

Cue a Shinsou with a flushed face avoiding eye contact.

Sometimes you’d think you’d embarrassed him until he tells you.

“No, I just…stuff like that makes me a little shy sometimes, that’s it.”

“You don’t like it?”

He shook his head, which he realized was probably confusing, “I don’t mind when you do it.”

Since he was pretty aware of Autism before he met you, he could guess when you had a seizure for the first time on the couch...

Which was repetitive swallowing.

A focal seizure. It wasn’t long, and it was subtle.

But he carefully watched you until it passed, “You okay?”

You waited for a moment before you nodded.

“I’m okay now.”

“If I didn’t know any better, I wouldn’t have thought anything of it.”

“People usually think of seizures as only being dramatic, obvious, and intense…but it isn’t always that way. There just has to be more people out there to teach them.”

“Yeah. Another thing this society has to change,” he picked up the remote to change the show.

“Shinsou?”

“Hm?”

“Thank you.”

Midoriya (Deku)

“Autism?... I think I heard of it.”

A few minutes later Midoriya will have a clear notebook from who knows where, writing things down like a madman.

“Oh! That explains why you do that head tilt thing a lot.”

In between the internet, he will ask you questions that are specific to you, outside of the general stuff.

He tries to ask questions sparingly so it doesn’t get overwhelming.

“They also mentioned seizures. Do you have those?”

“Yes. Sometimes.”

Even though he now understands your behavior better, he will still misunderstand you for a few moments until he remembers.

Like when your bluntness can be offensive without intending to. But trust Midoriya won’t burst into tears, he’s had much worse things said to him.

Sometimes you will misread the mood, but he’ll explain it to you.

You attempt to practice better communication skills, but he’ll assure you.

“Don’t practice too hard, [Name], you don’t need to be perfect at it. Besides, I…don’t have the best communications skills, either.”

And sometimes, Midoriya’s back and forth consistency throws you off.

But you both work to make the relationship good for the both of you.

And then he experiences a seizure experience with you for the first time.

You’re in his room at home when your muscles suddenly go rigid.

Of course, you’re used to this happening, but you can’t help the slight panic of sudden loss of control.

His first instinct is to panic, but he fights against it because he realizes you already are. He doesn't want to make it worse.

He quickly works on timing it while making sure to make you’re comfortable. He softly starts to tell you a story, his voice is calming and you start to freak out a little less.

Then, it’s finally over.

“How are you feeling?”

“Better…a little sore. But better.”

His brows furrowed as he thought, “That was a…tonic seizure?”

“Yes.”

“Before I met you, I didn’t realize there were so many different types–Hm, can I ask a few questions? So I can be better prepared, next time?” he quickly parted from you to find his spare [Name] notebook.

“You didn’t do too bad this time. But okay, go ahead.”

Bakugo

You would mask your behaviors around people. You were a hero in training, you didn’t want anyone questioning your capabilities for something you couldn’t change.

But Bakugo’s incredibly observant and picked up on a few things you let slip without realizing.

Once he’d watched you for a while, he approached you and got straight to the point. He wasn't one to beat around the bush.

“Oi. Are you Autistic?”

“Huh? Yeah.”

“Thought so.”

You were surprised Bakugo had approached you considering you actively avoided him.

You were sensitive to loud noises. You’d learned to adjust to some sounds that couldn’t be avoided as a hero, but his yelling still made you anxious as hell.

But right now, he was quiet. No yelling.

You thought that was the end of it, that he was just curious about your possible Autism…but no, he kept talking to you. He kept asking you questions.

And you didn’t mind answering them.

And along the way, you found yourselves in a relationship.

The class was wondering how in the world you tamed Bakugo, he wasn’t yelling nearly as much…when you were around, anyway.

But you didn’t do anything. Behind closed doors, he was always relaxed, his speaking tone was even, and he was gentle.

You had to learn how to understand each other.

Bakugo was emotional and buried what he felt. He would keep to himself how he was feeling. And you weren’t able to read his emotions sometimes.

So you learned to ask him.

“Hey, Bakugo.”

“Yeah?”

“How are you…feeling? You look tired, but you sound upset?”

And he learned to be more direct with his feelings, which helped you understand him better.

And sometimes, on accident, he would get a little loud, so you would ask for breaks, which he would give you.

Although Bakugo could be spontaneous, he was consistent with the things that mattered, so it made it a little easier for you to learn him.

Bakugo treated you like any other person, he didn’t treat you like Autism was something strange or bad. He was protective of you, so if anyone talked about your behaviors or appearance, he would pull them aside to go off on them.

He showed interest in your interest. He loved when you would ramble about it and he would always remember what you’d say.

He had to compromise touch, since you craved it. He was surprised, but all you said was,

“It’s actually a myth that all people on the autistic spectrum are averse to touch. Some of us like it, depends on the person.”

But he found he liked it when you cuddled with him, so he didn’t mind. It wasn’t a bad compromise.

Bakugo likes knowing things, so he’ll look stuff up and ask questions until he has a wide knowledge of Autism, your specific type, and everything about it. He learned about you outside of your Autism, your favorite foods, favorite color, any information he could get his hands on.

He paid special attention to information on your seizures.

Talked to you about them, watched videos, read books.

So when he witnessed it the first time, he was prepared.

You weren’t, since it was in the common room and most of your class was there.

Everyone was panicking, this hadn’t happened to you with them around before.

Kirishima rushed to get Bakugo from his room, let him know what’s going on.

“Shit. Is everyone panicking?” he rushed past his redheaded friend.

“I–Who wouldn’t? It was just so sudden!”

Once he made it into the room, everyone was crowded around you.

And someone looked as if they were about to try and hold you down.

“Back up! All of you!” he barked out.

“But Bakugo—”

“Stop standing there like idiots and move!” he growled, pushing past them.

He started moving things away from you and carefully checked your breathing.

“How long has it been like this?”

“N-Not long–Half a minute, maybe?”

“Okay.”

He spoke quietly to you, apologizing that he wasn’t there with you when it started, apologizing for the idiots making things worse.

“Maybe [Name] needs some water—”

He turned to Kaminari, about ready to strangle him for the suggestion, “Does it look like they can drink water right now? Does that make any sense to you?”

“Right–Right, sorry.”

“And all of you, back up some more or leave. I feel like you’re breathing down our necks,” he scoffed.

So they did, now it was just the two of you. Then you settled.

He waited for a minute, softly petting at your head until you could speak again.

“Thank you, Bakugo.”

“Huh? For what?”

“Helping. They weren’t being very helpful.”

“They’re the ‘panic first, get into action later’ types.”

“I noticed.”

“How are you feeling?”

“I need water, I think. And cuddles, too. If you’re up for it.”

Tokoyami

He honestly hadn’t noticed anything was unique about you until you told him you had Autism.

“Oh? I hadn’t noticed.”

He does ask you plenty of questions over the next few weeks whenever one comes to mind.

You find yourself fascinated by Dark Shadow, though you misunderstand some things he says to Tokoyami that make him flustered. It was always something about you.

You were also sensitive to bright lights, which made you perfect for Tokoyami. He wasn’t a fan himself.

He showed devotion to listening to you about your interest, never seeming annoyed about the same thing.

He was very uncomplicated to you.

He spoke his mind, he was to the point. If he didn’t tell you his emotions at first, he will tell you eventually.

Behind closed doors, he lets you gently pet his feathers–although they are sensitive, it relaxes you, so it’s the least he can do.

He also helps you find relaxation training, which you appreciate.

And one day, he experiences your seizure with you. He almost missed that’s what it was, since you would stare off and get confused suddenly.

He kept the environment relaxed until the moment passed.

Which you were grateful for, but then…

“Tokoyami. Let’s–Let’s take a nap.”

“That’s a good idea, [Name].”

And a nap you took.

You’ll Fit Right In - EraserMic

A/N: Man I am such a sucker for erasermic comfort!! So, hello! I’m really glad you like my writings! And I’m so glad you requested this because I love writing for erasermic but I basically trauma dump in every erasermic fic I post (including the one I’ve been working on in my free time…). I hope you really like this one!

Warnings: bad childhood, sh, self-deprecation

Aizawa and Hizashi weren't planning on adopting another child. They already had Shinsou, afterall, and Eraserhead was listed as one of Eri’s guardians, so she was around from time to time. But they couldn’t resist bringing you into their home.

You had a past much like Eri’s, except instead of being experimented on by a group of villains, you had been experimented on by the Commission. They wanted to try and create the perfect hero, but in the end they only messed up your quirk and caused you to go deaf. Hizashi and Aizawa were on the team that was sent in to rescue you. If you were honest, the only reason you went with them was because Hizashi knew JSl, and he was able to communicate with you way better than the Commission ever could.

When the two heroes found out you had no remaining relatives, they immediately asked for adoption papers. You tried to tell them that they didn’t have to keep you around, but they wouldn’t have it. They explained that they didn’t want to throw you to some foster home who didn’t know how to care for you, and that they already had experience handling situations like this.

So here you were, living with Eraserhead, Present Mic, and Shinsou, with the occasional visit from Eri. As expected, there were some bumps and setbacks. You were very shy, and meeting so many new people at once stressed you out. You went from living in a small, sectioned off room the size of a storage closet to a house with your own giant bed room that you could decorate any way you wanted. You sat down every meal with your new family, and eventually you had to get to know them.

Aizawa was the first one to notice your scars. You were sitting next to him on the couch as he graded papers. You had a cat in your lap, petting it gently as you read a book. Some would say Aizawa looked over at the wrong time, but he’d argue otherwise. The cat in your lap was pushing up the hem of your sleeve, and the teacher beside you could see thin, angry, red lines along your arm.

It startled him at first, and then it didn’t. He should have figured you would result in something like this. He tried so hard to make sure Eri didn’t harm herself, but he never thought to talk to you about this unhealthy coping mechanism. Shouta gently took your hand with his, turning it ever so slightly to get a better look at your wounds.

His touch caught your attention, and when you looked up at him, he looked at you with something between worry and distress. That’s when you realized that he had seen your arm. Tears immediately welled up in your eyes.

‘Y/N,’ Aizawa signed to you. ‘Let me help you. Tell me what’s wrong.’

You sniffled, then wiped your eyes with your other sleeve. ‘I’m not worth your time.’

You could have sworn Aizawa’s eyes glowed red for a split second. Now he’s angry with you, you thought to yourself. You’ve surely done it now. You wanted to look away but Aizawa began signing again. ‘That’s not true, Y/N. You are worth our time. We want you here.” His thumb lightly grazed your cuts again. ‘Please, let me know when you feel like doing this.” Shouta’s hand stalled for a moment. ‘I struggled with it too, when I was in high school and I lost someone very close to me. I know how to help you, you just have to let me.’

You may be very shy, but so is Aizawa. And you may be a bit self deprecating but so was Shinsou, and Aizawa and Hizashi could help with that. And for your unhealthy coping mechanisms, all three of them had dealt with. You just need to let them in, let them help you, and you’ll be alright in the end :)

I'm trying to stay optimistic but the recent chapter was such a letdown after all of this speculation, and I'm really not ready for afo gave tenko decay to become canon :(

So, same as you, I've always hated the 'AFO gave Tenko Decay' theory, but I think it’s important to examine why. 

What I hate is less of the actual act - it is incredibly possible, after all, that AFO just gave this kid descendant of a hated enemy such a deadly quirk for his own twisted ends; and more in fear of what the confirmation of it might signifies - cheap 'easy-way-out' writing that would pretend to solve the problem of Shimura Tenko/Shigaraki Tomura while not actually doing so:

If Tenko was given Decay, then it means the Shimura massacre and then The Walk could've been avoided! 🎉 Because Tenko's hurt and anger at being repeatedly rejected by his father and family would not have manifested in such a lethal way, and so... what? Could've been ignored for a little longer? Wouldn't have sent him to the streets, where people should've helped him but didn't, and now Shigaraki's making them paying for that? (Somewhat related, I’ve seen people suggest that Decay makes Tenko itch because his body isn’t compatible with it, a la Aoyama - the itch is caused by the quirk. However, the day AFO brought Tenko home and Tenko was locked outside, Tenko already had scars around his eyes, and his mom was worried about “his allergies getting worse”. This suggests Tenko was already itchy and scratching at himself before he ever met AFO (and received the quirk that day). And given how the itch represents Tenko/Shigaraki’s frustration and anxiety, that Tenko says he’s only itchy in the house, demonstrates the Shimura household problem was a thing that hurt him long before AFO ever showed up that day.)

If Tenko was given Decay, then it means Shigaraki/Tenko is not innately a destructive and twisted child! Such a sweet kid would not have such a evil quirk! And he has no good reason to want to destroy stuff! 🎉 Because we're going to believe in the idea that ''Bad' Quirks Makes You A Bad Person’. And throw kids who do have unpleasant traits for whatever reason under the bus. And act as if Shigaraki wants to destroy because he's beholden to a gene inside of him, instead of having perfectly valid reasons to be angry and want to lash out.

If Tenko was given Decay, it means we don't have to worry about the 'what ifs' of having a deadly quirk like this even if the massacre never happen! 🎉 Because what if Decay was a naturally-occuring quirk? How would Heroes that aren't Eraserhead have dealt with an accident from such a quirk? Would Tenko have been forced to enroll in Quirk Counseling, which we know from Toga is such a great program? Would Tenko have grown up discriminated against, much like Shinsou, or worse? And these things are absolutely factors that would make someone feel ostracized in society and lash out, even without the backing of a crime lord?

If Tenko was given Decay, we have thee easiest way to deal with Shigaraki Tomura: the story can blame AFO for being the instigator of all tragedy and suffering - without Heroes needing to own up to the fact the society they've have been propping up for a century might play some role in creating Villains through countless, unintentional ways. The focus - the supposed real tragedy - becomes the fact that AFO gave Tenko a scary quirk, and Deku can focus his energies on that… instead of where, imo, the actual tragedies lie - an unhappy and dysfunctional home of generational trauma that was never dealt with, a city full of people who ignored an injured five-year-old because they put off all communal responsibility on Heroes*, and how this can all happen in a 'Hero-saturated society' without Tenko being helped in any of the multiple steps it took to get him to where he ended up under the bridge, being hugged by AFO.

* bonus: none of the people on the street knew what quirk Tenko had, so… what are we to make of this fact? Tenko could've easily been injured in a car accident, walked away, and still be ignored if AFO isn't revealed to made everyone ignore Tenko as well? But that would've been okay, Shigaraki would've been less pissed off, because it wasn't part of a villainous mastermind plot? 

Meanwhile, Shigaraki would be only a sad little pawn, an empty victim crammed with a deadly quirk and engineered trauma and fake wrath, and once Deku saves him by telling him his entire life was a lie, that he actually has no reason to feel so betrayed and angry (can't even direct that at AFO anymore, because the man’s gone), Shigaraki can (selfishly!) forget his friends and his experiences and take pleasure in knowing he wasn't supposed to be a Villain. He was supposed to be a Good Person, without an Evil Quirk, and now he can assimilate back into his rightful, conforming proper place in society!

However–I don’t think that sounds like Shigaraki at all. It could happen! God forbid it, but that is how Horikoshi can end up writing the character and the conclusion. I don’t know how likely that is. 

What I do know, though, is that Shigaraki is someone who already knows AFO is a manipulative asshole:

In Chapter 237, while reflecting on his newly regained memories, Shigaraki considers, “If only, back then, someone, anyone, had reached out to help… then maybe the itch would’ve gone away for good.” That he specifically says this last part after remembering specifically how AFO had found him, Shigaraki knew AFO didn’t actually help him, else the itch would’ve faded. 

In Chapter 277, Shigaraki is not particularly surprised that the AFO quirk comes with AFO’s ‘too-strong’ will. (Then tells AFO is shut up.) 

In Chapter 298, after AFO gives a whole spiel about how Shigaraki asked for this power, Shigaraki declares that he’s not going to be AFO’s “stinkin’ pawn”. (And started looking for a way to undermine AFO’s control)

In Chapter 379, Shigaraki outright states that he knew AFO was manipulating him, especially trying to make use of the Shimura and All Might connection. (And defeats the AFO vestige from inside out, taking his body back.) 

Unfortunately, Shigaraki is also someone who knows all this, but will still continue to rely on AFO’s double-edged gifts - keeping The Hands with him all this time; partnering with the Doctor; utilizing Gigantomachia into his Deika plan despite not having gained Gigantomachia’s respect yet; undergoing the surgery to receive the AFO quirk.

And finally, Shigaraki is someone who has already regained all his memories, back in MVA. He remembers being five-years-old and still not having manifested his quirk. In the latest chapter, the vision of Tenko holding hands with a man in a suit - that is Shigaraki’s memory. Shigaraki remembers this moment, of being Tenko and walking home, escorted by a stranger in a suit. And it appears, right after Deku declares that he’s going to keep striking at Shigaraki until he reaches the pain Shigaraki has buried and covered up with a lid.

What I’m getting at is this: I think - I hope! - there is a possibility that, if AFO did indeed give Tenko Decay, Shigaraki already knows AFO gave him the quirk - figured it out when he got his memories back, most likely - but is beyond caring. He knows Decay was given to him, that AFO had that hand in causing the massacre; but still Shigaraki uses it, still decides to embody the quirk as his.

Because however Shigaraki got Decay, it really doesn’t change anything about how the world works. It doesn’t change how his dad was locking him out of the house before he ever got any quirk, simply because he couldn’t/didn't want to follow a rule; and it doesn’t change how he was ignored by everyone that day on the street, and no one knew at all what quirk he had or what he did. Manifesting Decay only punted him down into a miserable social position that already existed - not for him at that moment in time, but for someone else; only gave him the ability to witness something that had always been there all the more clearly.

Now, this is very much a cope. But I can cope with the 'AFO gave Tenko Decay’, if it actually ends up giving Deku a harder time saving Shigaraki, if it forces Deku to become unable to blame AFO, because that was never the real injustice Shigaraki has been lashing out against. That’s really the main thing.

- downside: he falls asleep pretty quickly after or during fights

Dorakegg-kun:

-something to do with dragons

- he can summon small dragons from his tattoo

- the more he summons, the smaller and weaker they get

- downside: his tattoo starts swelling and he gets a splitting headache

"Nanda Nanda" :

- I feel like this dude would have either a fire breathing quirk

OR

- hair quirk

- kinda like that one dude from Shiketsu high?

- but he can only manipulate his head hair

- uses it in fighting to trap villains or throw them pretty far (kinda like sero's tape, but not sticky)

- downside: when used too much, his hair starts tangling which prevents further use AND means a few hours of detangling

"BAJI-SAN!!":

- I think Chifuyu would have a quirk that has something to do with shoujo manga

- some sort of romantic quirk

- like, he needs to kiss someone (anywhere, whether it be the head, hands, lips, forehead, etc.) To be able to activate his quirk

- once activated, he can mess with someone's mind

- make them see things that aren't there, or believe things that aren't true

- downside: the more he uses it, the worse his own mental state gets, and he might get some depressive episodes

Mamasuya:

- something to do with clothes?

-Either he can manipulate fabrics like best jeanist

- or he can (as long as he has enough fabric) can create anything from fabrics at hand

- downside: severe headaches; swelling in his hands and face (kind of like an allergic reaction)

Can't stop smiling:

- "looks can kill"

- if he stares at someone with "that" smile, while his quirk is activated he can either (1) make them fall unconscious or into a coma, or (2) he can actually kill them

- downside: when used too much, he can't feel his cheeks anymore, and may not be able to smile for a while

Blue ogre:

- I think we all know what this baby's quirk is

- AHEM tenjiku arc AHEM

- when he cries and goes crazy?

- yeah, I think that's enough

Scar face:

- something to do with katana's (like DAMN BITCH put that fucking Katana down!!)

- he can summon a katana out of thin air (two at most)

- he can manipulate it's length and shape

- downside: because he summons the katana from his hand, when used excessively, his hands start getting cuts from nowhere. If used TOO much, the cuts spread to his arms

Crybaby hero:

- doesn't he already have a quirk????

- anyways, pretending he can't time travel, I think it'd be some thing to do with his tears

- Acidic tears

- he can cry whenever he wants to, and once his quirk is activated, his tears become acidic

- he can move his tears however he wants, throwing them at villains in order to burn them

- downside: the trail of tears going down his cheeks will start burning after a while, and when used WAY TOO much, he can go temporarily blind

Gang dex:

- he knows wayyyyy too much about gangs and what not

- his quirk would be something like "super memory"

-or "files", where he can store 'files' in his brain and use them whenever needed

- downside: when used too much, he becomes slow, and his learning capacity decreases (kind of like when Denki short circuits, but not as bad)

Takuya:

- some sort of healing quirk

- downside: he'll get the injuries he heals, just less severe

Kisaki Titties:

- incredible brain

- MEGA MIND

- he's too smart for his own good

- or some sort of manipulation quirk like Shinsou's

-downside: I can't think of one

- some sort of joint quirk

- kinda like their regular technique but super-powery

It's platonic, since the reader is older than them by like 10 years or something, and I just feel like platonic fits better in this case. •You met at Bakugou’s first internship when he was with Best Jeanist and you were working with the police on a case that they also helped with

•You told him you’d seen him at the sports festival and you also noted that he definitely has some serious anger issues

•You’re very direct and don’t really ever consider something you say might offend someone

•Bakugou is not easily offended, even if he does start yelling at you about it, because you seem like a person that really gets on people’s nerves, him included

•You accompany him and Jeanist back to the agency, because you’re interested in seeing more of this funny kid

•Also you don’t know how to get back to the police station to give your report so someone has to take you

•Jeanist assigns Bakugou to this task, figuring he can’t do too much damage on a simple escort assignment

•When you make it to the police station, you go give your report and Bakugou leaves, stomping back to the Jeanist agency

•Bakugou is oddly bothered by your remarks about his anger issues and attitude problems, probably because no one has really ever said it straight to his face like that

•Also he thinks you’re really fucking weird and childish

~Shinsou Hitoshi~

•You’re a friend of Aizawa’s, which is how Shinsou met you

•You’re pretty much the same height as him and you look pretty close to his age, so he asked if Aizawa was mentoring you too

•You kind of laughed and told him that you were friends and you were actually closer to Aizawa’s age

•You’re there to watch Shinsou’s training and give him some pointers, so you’re just sitting on the grass and eating your snacks while telling him how to hone his technique

•Shinsou honestly finds you to be a bit annoying, even though you do give really good advice and he does actually improve his technique

•You’re way too perceptive for your own good, at least with some things

•Like you make connections between things so fast it’s unbelievable, but your sense of direction is nonexistent and you’re pretty childish

shinsou gets adopted by aizawa for the reason of your choice and now leaves with a fucking cryptid. this also kinda turned into siblings aizawa and shinsou. here's headcanons

aizawa sleeps, he does. it's just that shinsou has no fucking idea when that happens. he sees him sleep at school, sure, but he never sees him sleep in his actual bed or even on the couch.

I hc aizawa as autistic because did you look at this man so here are a couple autistic things he does :

he stims by meowing, purring (it's more of a weird rumbling he does in the back of his throat that can be slightly scary if it's the first time you see him do it), he makes BISCUITS and shinsou loves to joke about it and aizawa loves the jokes. he also plays with his hair a lot and bites his nails when he's stressed.

he actually masks a lot outside of his house, which is says actually makes him a really cool stealthy man but he's really just masking, which means he often gets the "you're autistic?? but you look so normal?" comment.

his special interests are cats and Yamada's radio show. he has three cats (salt, pepper and sugar) and never misses Put Your Hands Up radio. (when the special interest appeared around when he was 25, like 3 years after mic's show started, he panicked and thought Yamada would find it weird, but the dude obv was so fucking excited because his friend likes his show omg omg)

aizawa has learned a lot of social rules from necessity, because he's an underground hero and a teacher, but that doesn't mean he understands them. he also will not know ever if someone is trying to flirt with him or if someone is mad at him, however he will notice if someone's sad. he doesn't understand it either

back on track. aizawa likes to sing along to whatever music is playing, no matter what kind it is. man will sing along to fucking WAP and peace and love on planet earth in the same breath.

shinsou sings along too sometimes, but it's rare because he doesn't like singing in front of other people.

shinsou and aizawa can communicate telepathically. that's what other people think at least because there's no fucking way they're not.

they're honestly more like weird siblings than parent and child - they tried doing that, they really did, but it was too awkward.

shinsou is, neurodivergency wise, aizawa's opposite. it's almost funny how specific this is. aizawa is always sleepy. shinsou is never fucking capable of sleeping and always hyperactive, no matter how blank faced he looks (im just pushing my adhd shinsou agenda now). aizawa struggles to see how others feel (again apart from sad people) and shinsou is a fucking. empath or some shit. when aizawa wants to annoy shinsou he tells him he's an empath and when shinsou wants to annoy aizawa he tells him he's an empath this is what compatibility is. shinsou needs to be close to people, he loves touching and hugs, aizawa prefers being alone and will refuse any kind of physical contact unless it's to punch him, a kid he's helping needing comfort, or one of his students needing comfort. shinsou is ofc an exception as well and he will hug him if shinsou's noticeably in a bad mood.

it's hilarious how similar they look but how different they actually are.

in good kinda siblings fashion, they insult each other all the time, aizawa calling shinsou variations of trash raccoon child and asshole, and shinsou calling him old man or boomer if he really wants to make him tick. or asshole too.

they wouldnt die for each other but they very much would kill for each other

aizawa would punch a bitch for shinsou. he would also punch shinsou if needed /j

literally no one at school knows what their relationship is. what's wrong with them.

todoroki insists they're related and shinsou calls aizawa dad in class at some point just to see him lose his mind. he then vehemently denies it happens, which wouldn't work if aizawa was also acting like it didn't happen. todoroki is going insane.

remember how I said one of aizawa's special interests is Put Your Hands Up radio? by continuously infodumping on shinsou, he makes him hyperfixate on it too. shinsou hates him so much for it /lh

SO. SAKURAI. sakurai my baby.

sakurai is a genderfluid, pink haired dweeb machine, who is also disabled! (win for the community). his quirk is cadenza, which basically means that he can make anything he sings come to life and he can manipulate sound waves to do whatever he wants them to do, pretty much. eventually he even learns how to mimic people’s voices (thanks to shinsou and present mic).

he’s got a story up on ao3 so i don’t wanna spoil too much of what hasn’t been uploaded yet. pretty much. ANYWAYS.

he did something really really bad when he was very young, and was held by the hero commission from ages 4-8 before being adopted by iida tensei and haimawari koichi (from vigilantes). he sees tenya as his brother and they refer to each other as such :3. there’s a whole bunch of shit with the iida family being sucky but that’s just them.

he is so so so cool. he’s scenemo and dabbles in vkei and GAWRSH i love him. he also has like. four boyfriends and dates another character at one point (does not end well). he’s so silly i adore him.

his four bfs are ojiro (ofc), shinsou, todoroki, and bakugou bc. things happen. he’s also really close with the “bakusquad” and ends up getting into shenanigans with them often. he’s really good friends with jirou since both of their whole shticks has to do with music!

okay and for these images, a few notes! 1. ignore the art style/design on the first one, it’s old, i just don’t have anything with his coloring on hand rn 😭

2. yes he’s dressed as miku in the second one but the front of the hair is accurate. in the first one, that’s how long his hair is generally. hehe

his hero costume looks the same, the only thing i changed was his hair. oh yeah! that’s a sensor on his palm, it’s how he uses his quirk (plus his vocal chords), and he has scars on his neck !

Headcanons for my fic

(For context- Shigaraki brothers w/ adopted Shinsou and Mei is also there, all are villains- but this one is just the brothers)

Izuku "dresses for sucsess" because of AFO's teachings, gets extreme anxiety at the idea of looking bad. Tomura got the same lectures but he just didnt care enough for them to work.

Izuku had the habit of leaving lamps on and almost (and did) start several fires. All the lights are now LED.

Tomura no longer wears the hands after he made baby Izuku cry- now they chill on a shrine and he only wears them for villain activites

Side note- HE USES SKIN CARE, hes still just a lil crusty but its from a skin condition w/ his quirk. But not as bad as canon.

Tomura and Izuku both refuse to call Sensei "dad" and will get mad if you suggest otherwise

They bond over Smash Brothers, Minecraft, and Animal crossing

Also the healthiest relationship in the fic because Kurogiri was forced to teach them proper communication or risk them murdering one another

Izuku is so fucking paranoid he has razor blades in the soles of his shoes

Tomura has several pairs of quirk resistant gloves from his brother, including a pair of creeper print (pictured below)
