How I see Pegoryu for the most part:

Ryuji: Is very confused (and oblivious) with the gay thoughts but is but basically receptive of Akiren's efforts. Is on the edge of a gay awakening.

Akiren: Knows this and proceeds to flirt carefully (and sometimes awkwardly) in order not to scare Ryuji off before he realizes his feelings.

Meanwhile, how I see Souyo for the most part:

Yosuke: Is aware of the gay thoughts but tries to hide behind walls of denial.

Yu: Knows this but has a sledgehammer.

One of my favorite headcanons is that Heart and Mind can purr. I know it’s not physically possible but whimsy is more important to me.

Mind makes a soft, mechanical buzzing sound when he’s happy or relaxed. It might just be his internal fans but it sounds like purring regardless.

Heart just straight up purrs like a bird/cat. Soft trills when he’s relaxed and very powerful purrs when happy. He makes all those happy bird noises.

I don't know man I'm not sure how well the control freak and the loose canon will get along. Feels like WPNZ might be a little disappointed when he actually meets Puzzles. TV freak is good at the supervillain act but much less intimidating when you actually get to know him. Would be funny if WPNZ experienced a similar whiplash to what we as the audience did with Puzzles turning out to be... the way he is after all that time being so menacing from the shadows.

Also pushing my hc that I think Puzzles is a big fan of the Muppets and Jim Henson in general. It just makes sense for him. He knows all the behind the scenes stuff he knows how Kermit ride a bike and Fozzie drive a car.

i'm sure other people have talked about this but man. ling yao's turn from comedic relief to a serious character being lan fan's injury. him taking off his jacket– gold, decorative, happy-go-lucky– to bandage her wound. and for the rest of the series he wears black, because once lan fan is injured he finally starts taking the threat of amestris seriously.
