Never will I stop with the steadfast notion that folks in the DPXDC fandom should interact with at least some form of canon DC media.

There are comics, tv shows, radio dramas both old and new, podcasts, movies, magazines, so much shit that intentionally avoiding the media is simply preventing yourself from spawning new ideas and gaining a new appreciation for a fandom that you’re already in.

The Superman Radio Show has episodes 11 minutes long. A lot of the TV shows don’t have episodes that surpass 30 minutes and most are nearly fully clipped on the official DC YouTube channel. The amount of fan made motion comics is astounding. The amount of fanmade animations is equally as incredible.

Y’all WilliamEst are very good at this game already. Like, they hit their post-ThamePo success guns blazing, every social media platform active, memes mastered, like damn. This is how you play and win.

And like, for some it’s luck, right? They get a smash series, or they lean on chemistry alone, but these two got BOTH? ThamePo is incredible and WilliamEst have fantastic chemistry and they’re both in their early twenties, so they have enormous potential moving ahead.

They’re the breakout khuujin of 2025, hands down, and I also appreciate that they both seem absolutely kind and lovely on top of it. Couldn’t happen to nicer kids. I wish them enormous success and a relatively tame fandom.

Struggled a bit with dressing them accurately, they're supposed to resemble looks from about 500 BC, but I couldn't find super accurate silouettes. There's probably a lot of good ancient greek cc that I just haven't seen cuz the search function on my pinterest really sucks!

Homelander would be furious no doubt; he would clutch his prized only son tight against his breast and weep over his corpse. But as soon as Billy thought that, he was surprised to find that he derived no satisfaction from that image, only a cold sensation in the pit of his stomach.

That boy. Billy had looked at that honest face and felt the yawning chasm of time that separated their generation. Glimpsed Becca’s soft features beneath the adolescent traces of baby fat and his father’s near-identical likeliness. Had felt both the revulsion and the joy curl in his veins when those small arms collided against his waist. Killing the boy was not the closure that he wanted. He wanted rage. He wanted revenge. He wanted to gain the upper hand, and reduce the superhero to his truest self. He wanted to see the caped cunt on his knees, and his back—which’d always been straight and proud and imposing—bent over from grief and the helplessness of it all.

Ik now there are more scenes later in the manga that again use it as a Punchline. It just encapsulates that weird gap of "things that are just never Not the Joke/Mocked" which kind of defeats the show messaging 😭
