Which means I get to put a spotlight on one of my favorite angst-inducing 5e class features:

Let's say Henry got to level 20 when he was 50 years old. At the start of season 2, he's 65.

Assuming the average natural lifespan for a Californian man to be 79, Henry could go on to live for another 275 years.

275 years. That means he'll outlive his kids, his grandkids, Mercedes. It means he will see the world change in so many different ways, until it's unrecognizable from what it once was. I think Henry never would have wanted this fraction of immortality, but if there's anyone who sticks around a bit longer to take care of the world, I'm glad it is him.

havers comes in a few different flavors in fics and stuff but one of my favorites hands down is when he's a huge slut. when he is charming and flirtatious and coquettish and handsome. there is something so funny to me about cap up all night in his office pacing like ohh he could never like me back, I'm reading into things, just being near him is enough. and then havers is in the room down the hall cranking it at top speed imagining sucking cap's soul out through his dick.

You know, when I was younger I used to fantasize/look forward to marriage and the wedding we'd have and the house we'd buy together and the dogs we'd adopt and now I'm older and have had time to reflect a bit, I realize that uh, there was never another person in those fantasies. I literally just wanted to wear a pretty dress, get a pet, and find some beautiful house to call my own. And really, upon realizing that, my ace ass doesn't miss the "marriage" part at all.

What I do miss is the fact that I'll never be able to put on that special dress and I won't have a second income to afford that nice house. And that I also won't really have the time/income to support adopting a child and all of my friends will be busy with THEIR families so I'll just be alone. And I'm still working on coming to terms with that.

I FINALLY read The Unwanted Guest yesterday! And by "read" I mean "did a reading", I got to do Ianthe, none if us had read the script beforehand, and we randomly improvised with chairs to follow the scene instructions, it was absolutely glorious.

ANYWAY. I cannot decide what is hotter: Palamedes in his terrible half-burnt suit and the cigarette he doesn't know why he's holding, or Ianthe with her maid/butler routine.

Believe me, no one is more horrified to realize this than me.

BOJANGLES!

Popeyes

Canes (although I'd order this one without ice bc they tend to water it down)

and that is your sweet tea report <3 usually, if a fast food place has fried chicken, they're gonna be your best bet for sweet tea but Bojangles' is absolutely GOD TIER. I've fr gone there just for the tea before that's how much i love it
