🫧 saw ur post on dream master disapproving of sunday’s wavering heart. I’VE BEEN THERE AGES AGOOOOO TALK TO MEEEEEEEEEEE
BELOVED BUBBLE
It’s probably disturbing for Sunday, to a degree.. maybe. How did the dream master even know?
He’s intentionally never mentioned you before. But you can’t hide anything from the person who raised you— because they’ve learned your heart and mind through all of it’s stages— and in The Dream Master’s case, he’s the one who shaped it.
The Dream Master doesn’t directly reference you, but one day he tells Sunday to shed himself of all distractions and to keep his sights set on the glory of Penacony alone. There’s an unspoken threat that hangs in the air afterwards. And for both your sake and Sunday’s, he continues to keep that boundary of friendship between you two.
Sunday’s devotion to Penacony is true— but sometimes he lays in his dream pool at night, and before he closes his eyes, he imagines a different reality where he left this world behind and was free to hold you closer than he was ever allowed.

Paring: Nanami Kento x Fem!Reader
Warnings: Sfw teasing, let me know if I missed anything!
Word Count: 0.5k
A/N: Hello! This is a little thing I did for the season! Please note I am still an 18+ blog and even though this is just fluff if you are under 18 please do not interact with me! Thank you so much to my lovlies @lady-lunaaa @gixxie for beta'ing this! I love you both dearly!
Tumblr media
As you walk to your boyfriend's car, you can't help the excitement that bubbles inside you. It's been a lovely evening with friends, good wine, and laughter. If Nanami wouldn't chastise you, you'd probably be flitting around like a joyful fairy.
You just can't hold it in; you love the holidays and how they unite people. And while your usually stoic boyfriend cracked some smiles tonight, he's refusing to admit he had a good time. Knowing him so well, you can just tell he had fun. He didn't complain about Gojo the entire time or roll his eyes when Principal Yaga drank a little too much and let down that stern wall he's always holding up.
You recall Nanami looking relaxed, his posture slacking and small chuckles escaping him. It's been a lovely night, but it seems Nanami is determined to return to his old stoic self as he buckles himself in.
"Promise me we'll never go to a thankfulness dinner for friends or whatever Gojo calls it." His words leave small puffs of white as they escape his mouth into the cold air lingering in the car.
"Friendsgiving," you correct him with a sly smile, sitting yourself in the leather seat of his coupe. Somehow, someway you needed to have him admit he had a good time.
"Ah yes, that." Nanami's tone is dry as he presses the start button, bringing the car to life. The two of you begin the drive home in silence as heat blasts through the vents, slowly warming up the cabin.
"Come on now, I saw you crack a smile," you say playfully, shifting your eyes to his form. He's got both hands on the wheel, ten-and-two or eleven-and-three, whatever he's constantly reminding you of when you try to drive with only one hand. You can tell he's pondering how to respond to you–because you know you're right.
"The only thing that could have made me smile at that disaster of dinner was you," his voice is softer. Your heart flutters in your chest. He's being cute but also still actively ignoring your probing.
"Kento! Come on! Please! It was fun, right? Come on, you can just admit it," you plead, letting a little whine come to your tone, hoping it will sway him to crumble.
"You will never hear me say that spending time with Satoru is fun."
You let out a heavy sigh at the response, ready to finally give up, the alcohol from earlier lulling you to sleep.
"But, I'd spend a hundred evenings with Satoru just to see you so happy," his voice drops slightly. Even after all these years, he's a romantic but still hesitates to say it.
"I love you too, Kento," you whisper back, lean your hand over, and place it on his thigh. It's a gentle and innocent touch, but it says so much for the two of you.
Thank you for coming with me.
Thank you for making it bearable.
I love you.

Hey when is the next chapter coming out?
Short answer: I don’t know, not as soon as I was hoping.
But long answer? I think a little bit of real talk needs to be had, and this was the perfect ask to spur it since I’ve gotten three or four of these lately.
Let me say this first: I greatly appreciate that you all are eager to see where the story goes next! I really am. But it’s also important to remember that I, and other comic artists, are also people.
We are each a single person writing these things. We script, sketch, draw, render and finalize each and every page ourselves, and that’s if we don’t redo things multiple times.
Take JSAB:BM, for example. I sketch each page on paper, then have to do the paneling and line work, then color and render each individual panel. Add to that the fact that I hand letter, and you can see why it’s so time-consuming. I don’t like to let the quality of my work suffer because of demand, quality over quantity if you will, so it takes a decently long time. Each page takes about 2 hours on average- for all 179 pages, that is a whole 358 hours. Two weeks- but that’s if I worked nonstop, no sleeping, eating or anything. And that is the average time for a page. Now remember that I also have school, and a normal life; I don’t work on this nonstop.
And sometimes I- and other artists- just aren’t in the mood to work on our comics at some point, and that’s okay. It’s good to take breaks, and often necessary.
I think a lot of people forget that we aren’t machines or studios; we can’t be constantly making new pages or chapters. We have lives too! School, jobs, family and friends, and just the general ebb and flow of day-to-day life. These comics are things we do in our free time, for free. These are passion projects, things we do because we love them.
My point is: comic artists are people too, and it’s not fair to expect us to keep pumping out pages or chapters. We have lives just as much as you do. At the end of the day we’re just normal people who have a passion for making comics for this little community, and it’s important to not forget that.
So yeah, there’s my two cents on the matter. I know some other comic artists in the community have had this same problem and I think it’s important to address these things and start a conversation.
TL;DR: Burnout’s a bitch, cut us some slack!/lh

When we talk about honesty, we're often thinking about telling the truth and not lying. But honesty runs much deeper than that.
It's about integrity, it's about being genuine, and it's about being transparent in our intentions as well as our actions. It's a commitment to the truth, even when the truth is uncomfortable to face.
In Hebrew, the word for honesty is כֵּנוּת /ke-'noot/, and it beautifully encapsulates what it means to be sincere and straightforward.
It signifies not just the act of being truthful, but also the quality of being upright, earnest, and absolutely transparent in your dealings with others.
Sincerity, on the other hand, is like the soulmate of honesty. It's the emotional truth that complements factual truth. Sincerity is all about being the same person on the inside as you project on the outside. No masks, no facades, just raw, unfiltered you. It's about saying what you mean and meaning what you say. It's about being genuine in your words and actions, never misleading or taking advantage of others.
Both honesty and sincerity hold immense power. In a world where misinformation can spread like wildfire, these virtues are more crucial than ever.
Just like words have the power to destroy, they also have the power to build.
And words spoken with honesty and sincerity? Well, those can not only build worlds but also mend broken spirits, foster long-lasting relationships, and instigate meaningful change.
These virtues are cornerstones for communication, especially in the challenges we face today.
Misinformation, prejudice, and hate often stem from a lack of these two vital qualities.
So when you practice honesty and sincerity, you're not just making a personal choice; you're making a social commitment.
And remember, it's not just the loud voices of hate that shape the world—it's also your honest, sincere words if you choose to speak them.
In our journey together through language and life, I'm committed to practicing these virtues in every lesson, conversation, and interaction we share. And I hope you'll join me in doing the same.

I like the "sometimes you just need a close up" trend not only because the pictures were cute, but also because no matter how close up you study him, Jared's still the same guy. He works on himself, enjoys his life, is good to his family. Walks the talk on his beliefs and charities. Talented, smart, respected. Grown up from that "little brother" image and adding a whole new skill set to that toolbox they all joke about. And yet still a lovable dork who is just honestly HIMSELF. We win.
Beautifully shared, anon! He's a very lovable person and a great role model. (And sometimes, he's just goofy!)

Be frank, sincere, and naive with what you say, sometimes. When everybody is being irreverent, cynical, smarty pants, well, then it isn't subversive. It isn't funny anymore, it isn't interesting. Everybody on here (and in real life!) just formatposts and forms quick-dry replies from preset phrase banks. Just say something in the voice of your inner child, unaffected by conventions and customs. You will get less social clout, yes. You may even be off-putting to some. But to others, you will be like a crystalline glass of cold water in a world where all water is full of microplastics, bleach, heavy metals, pollution and chemicals. Your post on Tumblr will not recieve as many notes, or as many laughs in real life, but you will seed a healthier environment. You will slow our descent into anti-human anti-social hyper-capitalist madness and one day maybe enough people will join in and socializing will be simpler, more natural, and feel less like perpetual warfare. Our sick, sick, sick society will heal, and connections with others, that thing you can't help but to crave despite all seeming sense, it will suddenly be more rewarding than you can imagine.

The reality is that most Christians are not flagrant hypocrites who feign virtue and religiosity. All Christians struggle to face and overcome their moral inconsistencies, but most are sincere, not two-faced, duplicitous actors.
