i have a counter argument to the 'only one person can boop bill' thing, mabel. she's the type of person to slap stickers on people, she would definitely be the type to also boop others occasionally and bill would be no exception. she probably doesn't do it to annoy bill like dipper would, but maybe as a form of a friendly gesture, kind of like those people who will lightly punch friends in the arm when they hang out.

You know what? Good point. Mabel would get away with more than most, as a fun-loving lady! Bill understands those impulses, and being a touchy person! He indulges in similar ones himself.

Though when Bill's not in the mood to be playful and gets booped anyway? The 'sister-in-law' status grants her considerable grace.

i dunno it kinda bothers me sometimes to see characters who are referred to with they/them pronouns in games described as "ambiguously gendered" or "gender left unclear" or "gender unstated" by fans and stuff like. yeah absolutely they are sometimes that. sometimes the creator had a gender in mind for them while creating them and just didn't think to talk about it in the game. but also, like. sometimes characters can just be nonbinary? and it makes me kinda sad that everyone's first reaction to they/them pronouns in games is "oh, they have a binary gender, it's just up to the player/not stated in-game".

i've been reading the ohshc manga and there's like way more of it than i thought and a lotta stuff was adapted differently (especially in different orders) for the anime, and discovering all those differences fresh off a rewatch has been lots of fun. and im learning a lot. mori has a younger brother in the chapter that became the chika episode that they just scrapped completely. no more little mori. the alice in wonderland filler episode was a manga chapter but it was completely different. i have reason to believe tamaki's catholic (or was raised catholic?? which prompts about as many questions as it answers)

it also means im getting to see the chapters that didn't make the cut. like the vice principal's soup chapter. do you know the vice principal's soup chapter? it's where the host club makes the vice principal soup. of course
