Movie trailers have gotten out of hand...the Spellbound trailer makes zero reference to the fact that it is a MUSICAL with songs by Alan Menken and Glenn Slater. Because...why mention the Grammy and Emmy-award-winning songwriters when you can just name drop half a dozen John Lasseter films? He's not even the director.

The best feature in my favorites "Luck" and "Elemental" is that there are no villains in both of them as such.

The characters are not fighting against someone throughout the movies, they are fighting against themselves.

Do you think any of these animation companies have the potential to join the big 3?

For the sake of this conversation, I'm only referring to animation companies, so the Big 3 refers to Disney, Dreamworks, and Pixar. I know Warner Bros Animation has been around since the 80s, but I wanted to include it since (not including compilation films), they'd only had 10 theatrically-released animated films, with the animated musical "Bad Fairies"--with the songs from the writers of "Six"--being their next project. I wasn't gonna include Sony since they don't really seem like they'll ever get to the level the B3 are at this point, but the Spiderverse films show that they have potential. Skydance only has one film under it's belt, but I'm looking for predictions; they have 4 upcoming films (all distributed through Netflix), and they to have people involved in the films who have worked with Disney and Pixar before, so there could be something there, but the animation style isn't distinctive or mesmerizing thus far, and the storytelling hasn't wowed me.

WondLa, based on Tony DiTerlizzi's The Search for WondLa book series, stars the voice talents of Jeanine Mason (Eva), Teri Hatcher (Muthr), Brad Garrett (Otto), Gary Anthony Williams (Rovender), Chiké Okonkwo (Besteel), D.C.
