when i was very new to skyrim, i consulted with the internet to try and figure out which child i should adopt. and i saw many people downloaded mods to adopt aventus aretino. now, the issue was i hadn‘t started the dark brotherhood questline yet. and so i somehow confused him with proventus avenicci. so i thought there was a large group of people who decided to adopt the steward of whiterun

Confession: I wish there were a Skyrim mod that makes it possible for whatever kids you don't adopt to get taken in by NPCs. I know there's mods that let you adopt more yourself but it's a bit immersion breaking imo. Like maybe if you don't adopt Sofie, if you win the war for either side you could convince the jarl of Windhelm to take her in or something. Or Adrianne and Ulfberth could adopt Lucia. It's probably just me but I feel bad that the player is the only chance for a good home for all those kids :(

While I've actually been playing more Dragon's Dogma than I have any TES game (Skyrim most notably) I bought a resold Elder Scrolls themed adopt a few weeks ago and decided "y'know what? this character would look cool if they were a mfin werebear" And bing bam boom here's the bear! This was really fun to draw lol If you were also wondering what the adopt was, here's what her design looks like:

The Dragonborn: Alesan, Blaise, Lucia, Sofie, Runa Fair-Shield, Hroar, Samuel, and Francois Beaufort are all the official adoption candidates. Theoretically, though, Dragonborn can adopt any kid in Skyrim as long as their caregivers are dead.

His client runs out on him so he does the logical thing and adopts the daughter he left behind even as his life falls apart.
