(a j-term is a short, 10-day class in january so it’ve very intense)

matt : lacrosse af, charming and dorky at the same time, says things to make people laugh (because it lightens the mood), “wait what?” , “no habla” ‘matt that’s the wrong form’, actually really smart, doesn’t know how to flirt with girls, equally bad at talking to guys, first to leave & last to arrive, the sunshine of the class ,gentle smile

tay: always confused but trying very hard, “i know this i swear”, studying constantly, messily scribbled class notes become neatly-typed revision, spanish music, soccer af, advocate for minorities in a class of non-poc, class clown unintentionally, rip, hard worker & never complains about it, always helping a classmate, brings energy to the class

tori: homework highlighted daily, three days ahead always, intimidating eyes, baby fever, wheels always turning, kind but has chronic RBF, shy jokester, new ideas, monochromatic notes, laughing softly, black tea, calm & collected, enjoys the learning process, heeled boots

eleraine: photography, loves to read, a different person without her glasses, aspiring teacher, long hair, mumbles the correct answer in fear of being wrong, smart and mysterious, dedicated to changing the world, great memory, soft smile, warm eyes, glancing at the floor, freckles, starbucks, coffee-stained notes.

Who am I?

- I’m a student from Canada, you can probably guess my age

Hello everyone! My name is Jenny and I’m a new and recently joined studyblr. I’m very excited to finally be part of this wonderful community that encourages hard work, perseverance and dedication. In honor of this new school year (which for me starts on August 27th, 2018), I’ll be taking part of the #100daysofproductivity challenge starting this Sunday. 

However, I am incredibly nervous and hesitant in doing so.

A little bit about me

My first year of college was awful. 

I remember crying every single day. I never wanted to go to class and I struggled so much to keep up with my school work. It was absolutely painful and heartbreaking for me to see myself change from a highly motivated high school student to nothing. I thought that it was me just being lazy and that I just kept making excuses for not wanting to do the work. I thought that it was all my fault, and that I ultimately deserved failure. 

It wasn’t my fault. I unfortunately fell to a deep depression for over a year in which I had lost total motivation to do anything. Which, in result, my grades and academic life suffered. My GPA plummeted to the ground and I’m now a year and a half behind my major coursework. 

But it’s okay.

The worse has already happened. 

I can only go up from now. 

(Even though that’s really corny.)

Lovelies, I can never ever say this enough. Please, please, please take care of yourself. Mind, body and soul. ❤︎

With that being said, let’s do this!

These are notes on the Cross Cultural Human Resources class I start next week. I am hoping to get a nice head start as I have never liked HR classes so I want to be done as quick as possible.

Instead of taking pictures, I’ve decided to try scanning them instead! I quite like it as it keeps the quality.

It's been a nice break from school and any form of organization But I'm all done with the summer job and life is about to get crazy again. So I've got to sort out my month or I won't be ready for anything! First, Scotland! Then school prep.

a few days ago when I was studying for my chem test! I think it went alright but I was quite disappointed for the bio test :-(

we got our results and I got the highest score along with three other people but there were a lot of careless mistakes that I’m quite unhappy with :-( oh well I guess I’ll just sleep it off 😴

Side note we had a really pretty sky that day :’)

clarence - odd but people adore him, roasts people almost always , political genius, philosopher, “in theory...”, does his work half-heartedly & still does fine, thinks he failed but never actually fails, loves whitney houston , classical music

tayah - aspiring doctor, stresses over everything , studies hard but doesn’t always do well, gets great marks when she’s trying, gets ok marks when she isn’t, loves stem but sucks at it, soccer enthusiast, classical music & ballet documentaries, aspiring angel, passionate about people 

chloe - emt, super sweet, loves kpop & buzzfeed unsolves, fall aesthetic, pretty notes, studies half-heartedly, insomniac, champagne candles, turtlenecks & duck boots, boba tea , would die to chai tea, kinesiology, anatomy nerd, likes all the weird animes 

koze - athlete, loves learning languages, half-learns one to move on to the next, uses big words improperly, huge teddy bear, listens to music in foreign languages, dancing at all times, weird sleep schedule, writes papers last minute but still gets good marks, true friendship, a hugger 

nathaniel - koze’s best friend, athlete, quiet in large groups of people, takes his coffee with 0 shots of espresso, caramel fanatic, soft spot for tayah, bright smiles, good at things he cares about, sociology major, starts duolingo lessons and never finishes, british accent, “lipton tea is not real tea”, hates math, goes all in on topics he loves

If you’re wondering how I colour-code my notes, it’s pretty much just a colour designated for each subject. (i.e science - green, math - blue, english - red, french - orange, etc.) I’m planning to switch up that colour code next year :)

{14.09.2017} :: Physics Written Practical So today, I hit “shift+AC” on my phone to shut the screen off and honestly, I’m not entirely sure what’s wrong with me. Have a couple of snaps with me fooling around with a pencil, though! Ignore the whiteout stains on my hand, that's how I clean the tip.

28-6-2018 ~ Amsterdam Nieuw - West Hey guys! I’m so fucking sorry that i haven’t posted some og centent since like december or whatever. But the last semester of school was hell busy and just plain hell tbh, but so interesting. So i was completely too distracted to even be on tumblr. But now i’m back! But good new! I GOT MY PROPEDEUSE DEGREE! I’m so happy. So, i’m celebrating with posting my art history study work from a few weeks ago. And i’ll be posting some bujo things once i get started!
