Expandedverse: Species Notes

Non-exhaustive, but some notes on the more common species :)

Nether Demons: The main race inhabiting the Nether. They are not really demonic entities, just humanoids who have evolved to survive in the Nether. The form they take is fixed, and can vary from looking extremely non-human (like Bad) to looking only slightly different from your average human (like Kara). Notable individuals: Bad, Kara, Eryn (hybrid)

Trickster Demons: Shapeshifting demonic entities who can take on any form, but usually choose one unique form to represent themselves. Rare, and stigmatized, they will often try to blend into society. Their true forms are more stereotypically demonic - spade tails, bioluminescence, horns, dark sclera, etc. Notable individuals: Tina, Travis, Grunk

Seafolk: Humanoids with aquatic characteristics - usually fish-like, but they can be dolphins, axolotls, etc as well. They are capable of living on land, but need to be considerate of different living requirements and accessibility. They are a single-sex race and gender identity is chosen as a coming of age thing, and is also flexible. They can be found everywhere, but are native to the Ocean Empire. Notable individuals: Lizzie, Jimmy, Cooper, Sally

Avians: Humanoid bird hybrids with small stature and large wingspans. Like seafolk, they come in all shapes. Their small bodies and hollow bones allow them to be more agile in the air, having less wind resistance than the average human. They live in pretty much every corner of the world. Notable individuals: Phil, Quackity, James

Sheepfolk: Shapeshifters who have two forms - anthropomorphic sheep, and sheep humanoid. Their anthro forms are usually short and fluffy (just think about Rammie). They inhabit the overworld and aren't limited to any one area. Notable individuals: Puffy, Schlatt, Mikey

Not a species, but a note on non-demonic shifters: they are only capable of shifting between two forms - typically one humanoid and one non-humanoid. They are either born into a race with this ability (like sheepfolk), inherit it through genetics (like Fundy), or are gifted the ability by a deity (like Connor).

Hey mcytblr writers, are you in the mood for a challenge? Looking for something to inspire your creativity? Do you want to make something absolutely kickass? Simply love looking at cool art? What if I told you there was a way you could hit any and or all of those objectives by participating in a mcytblr event?

Well, let me introduce you to the Aufest Reverse Big Bang, currently during Artist Creation period! Artists have a month to make an au mcyt art piece ready to inspire writers, and then writers will have two months to write something 5k or longer, inspired by the art! We currently have over 160 artists in the discord working on their creative pieces, and the sneak previews the mod team have seen has been incredible.

But— we are halfway through the artist's creation period, and we currently have more artists than writers. We don't want any artists to run the risk of going without a writer, so we are looking for more writers! Does writing something inspired by an art piece sound like a challenge you're up for? We're not in the writing phase yet, but we are getting ready for it to start in the beginning of June. Join our discord today, and join all the other writers waiting anxiously for the art to be released next month! We are all sitting around vibrating with excitement while the artists work! It's fun!

SMPLive x DSMP crossover, idea 1 :)

Ty hopped off the small cramped boat, bumping into the taller people around his shoulders. He wasn't paying attention as people split up into groups. In a way, he already had a group. He just needed to find them.

He adjusted his bag, beginning his search. He supposed he was looking for a tall fancy building. They wouldn't settle for any less, surely.

The large landscape had scattered wooden huts and odd-looking handmade buildings. Much like his old home. Except this place somehow looked bigger.

"Hey. Kid?" 

Ty whipped around, staring at a man in a suit. He had long black hair, sunglasses, and a fancy blue tie.

"Yes?" 

The man took time to look him up and down.

"I haven't seen you before! You new?"

Ty nodded. If this person was a human, he must look like an alien to him. The man continued to take in his features. His white fur, his long tail, his fluffy ears, and his clothes.

"You lost?"

"No sir. Well, actually.. A little. I'm looking for Schlatt & Co.?"

The man tilted his sunglasses down.

"You are? Really?"

Ty nodded.

"Then come with me."

He followed the mysterious man, careful to keep his guard up. He still didn't know much about him, or this place. He kept hand over his pocket, where his knife sat.

They came across a trashed venue, with a little stage that held a coffin on it.

The man spoke up again, smiling.

"This is what you're looking for, kid."

Confused, Ty walked up to the stage.

"And this is..?"

He looked back at the man, who looked endlessly pleased.

"The remains of Schlatt & Co."

You know that Smpronpa debacle was so crazy for me cause the fandom I had right before smplive, also had a “famous” fic in the same vein that was beloved by the ccs. I had even been reintroduced (properly this time) to fanfiction from the ccs talking about how much fun they had reading this fic, and getting to see their game sessions mixed with mcrp characters be so dark. It was a dead by daylight au, and I remember it being fairly graphic, including the whole killing your friend’s stuff. It was recommended by every cc involved in the fic, and they had shared it between each other and even talked about the new chapters.

Then the same exact thing happened with smpronpa but suddenly from the word of evil, dark fics were boundary breaking and anyone who makes such things should be witch hunted. Man I was like how does fandom work, what is happening.

can you explain the sneeg thing... why is it danganronpa.......

okay so I'm no expert but you know SMPlive ? and you know how callmecarson was a sex pest? well before he was outed as a sex pest he did a "serious stream" calling out a fanfiction, SMPronpa (SMPlive x danganronpa crossover AU). not a single other CC featured in the fic was uncomfortable with it at all, it was JUST carson . a lot of the CCs featured in it were actively joking about it at the time. because the author of the fic, predictably, got harassed after carson called them out in front of his whole audience, the fic was deleted and was considered lost media for a while until like, literally yesterday the fic was uploaded by tumblr user conarcoin who has been searching for it for a while. sneeg went live about this parodying carson's serious stream title and layout to basically make a bunch of jokes about the fic . also in the fic wilbur murders charlie with a guitar in a freezer so if you see any jokes about that, there's your context <3
