1. What was the last thing you put in your mouth? Peach nectar drink.

2. Do you sleep naked? Summers in the South? Yup.

3. Worst physical pain you’ve ever been in? I.... okay, this one's a story. 20 yo me decided to take a soaky shower with bath oils, and read while I did so. Not being 21 yet, I took a (glass) bottle of Fuze with me to sip on. Everything went great until I decided to shave my legs at the end of the bath. I sat on the edge of the bath and started shaving but at some point I started sliding backwards and couldn't catch myself and landed hard on that glass bottle in a very private place and I thank God it didn't break, but it was still the absolute worst pain I've ever felt. I couldn't move for twenty minutes or so.

4. Favorite place you have been? Berlin by myself was a hell of a lot of fun. 

5. How late did you stay up last night? I climbed into bed at exactly midnight and crashed right after. 

6. If you could move somewhere else where would it be? Good question.

7. When was the last time you cried? My eyes water so I "cry" a lot but the last time I really cried was last night.

10. What’s your favorite season? Summer. Gimme that heat.

11. If you could talk to ANYONE right now, who would it be? I dunno. I'd be happy talking to any number of my friends!

12. Are you a good influence? I try to be? I'm not sure if I am or not but I try to at least follow the golden rule.

13. Does pineapple belong on pizza? Sure, but I'm not gonna touch it.

14. You have the remote. What show would you have on? Lupin!

15. First Concert? Ray Stevens when I was a kid. I was obsessed with him.

16. Favorite foods? Tacos, mac & cheese, fried pickles, fried rice, lo mein, bratwurst, goat cheese & crackers

17. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? A mom. That was the only thing I ever really wanted to do.

A study of Leyendecker’s Arrow Collar Man. I think I’ll call it “Breaking of Dawn” or “Crime Daddy’s First Portrait” or something 😂

Painted most parts in greyscale first, played around colors with curve tool and repainted using new colors, erased clothes and pendant (some bits of gold can be seen at collar converging point i kinda love that so keeping it), overlayed rough paper texture (brush) on top. Learned a lot. Need to do more.

AUHHHH I didn't get her... she was beautiful and cute (and way too small and aerodynamic in person to be a golden mix) but I just CAN'T justify bringing another dog into the house rn, I need to be financially prepared for that kind of thing and have some things set up in advance, and the timing just feels bad. If this had happened a few years from now I might've brought her home, bc she was clearly very smart and sweet... But dogs cost money!

not to sound incredibly biased as someone who throughly and shamelessly enjoys media that involves the person interacting with it (choose your own adventure, video games with meta elements, interactive comics, etc) but i think self inserts involving popular media are great, actually. is there no greater sense of love than wanting to make it a part of your life? finding comfort in the characters, the world, the lore? draw yourself hugging your favorite character, write about them handing you a flower. take a nap with your fictional friend. make your oc just you with a fun cape or a cool outfit and superpowers, life is short.

as long as you aren't preventing other people from enjoying it or stealing someone else's oc, go in peace and find what makes you happy.

WIP word game

Rules: you will be given a word. share one sentence/excerpt from your wip(s) that start with each letter of that word. my word was HAUNT (getting ready for halloween! <3)

H — He mutters: "Is that so?", pretending not to care. The viciousness spikes up in her veins, the urge to hurt him. It's moments like these that Cheryl understands why her mother calls her evil, nightmare child. "Reggie Mantle came over for secret sleepovers all the time. I saw them once." Jughead didn't look at her. (snippet from a Riverdale fic about Jughead and Cheryl in the aftermath of Jason's death)

A — "Andrews", Finnleys Stimme klang gereizt und verlor ein wenig von dem herablassenden Unterton, der Peter regelmäßig zur Weißglut trieb. "Is' doch mein Auto", murmelte Bob. Eine kalkulierte Provokation, auf die Finnley sofort ansprang. "Klar. So eine Reinigung kostet ja fast nichts. Aber ich sitz' gleich noch 'ne halbe Stunde im Bus." (snippet aus einer Bob/Finnley fic)

U — "Übertreib's nicht", sagte Skinny, als er ihm das Plastiktütchen zuschob, "Nimmst du sonst irgendwas?" — "Zoloft", sagte Yan, "Aber ich kann nicht mehr schlafen." Natürlich. Deswegen das Lorazepam. Für einen kurzen Moment huschte so etwas wie Besorgnis über Skinnys Gesicht. "Kein Alkohol dazu." (eine Fic über Yan & Lys, die ich im Februar angefangen habe, voll motiviert durch den blutroten Kondor — zumindest den Teil über Lys schreibe ich irgendwann fertig, also, hoffentlich)

N — "No, I'm serious. You're hot. He looked like he was into you. I'd be, you know... if it wasn't for my girlfriend", Andrew reaches out clumsily to touch his cheek, "Don't tell Mia I said this." — "Don't worry", Mia says, rolling her eyes, "Your secret's safe with us." (snippet from a Love, Victor fic about Andrew, Mia and Rahim that I will never finish!)

T — They are like ghosts, most nights, driving through the darkness in silence, pale and hollow-eyed. Jughead will put a cassette on, The Cure, Morrissey, whatever music sad boys listen to, and Cheryl will make a face. (the Cheryl-&-Jughead fic)
