And other than the typical goodwill you hold for your problem-friends

He sucks his teeth watching you from the corner of his eye

You’re at the top of the stairs precariously holding a water-filled bucket and sponge

He opens his mouth to scold warn you but he stops himself

It would be kind of cute to see what way you’d fall

It’d be a good lesson for a naive teacher’s assistant such as yourself

So when hears the clatter of a bucket, the sloshing of water, and your teetering voice he doesn’t bother looking up from his sweeping until it’s too late

“Ow! Geez I’m so clumsy…I really expected these steps to be harder…..wait a second…”

When you finally start to sit up you can expect to see one of two things

One: A blushing Rollo Flamme who refuses to open his eyes 

Or Two a wide eyed Rollo Flamme who is barely responsive

Both you’ll have a hard time reading and both will soon stand up and quickly excuse themselves

Ducking behind a hidden corridor or broom closet to nervously pullout his handkerchief and shove his face into it

For extra measure he’ll take out the gift he had planned to give you

A handkerchief with the inverse colors of his own 

Just to imagine that the cloth against his face is something more…intimate of yours

He’ll eventually come back…after a long while

“It was a simple slip. I hold nothing against you.”

“Okay good. I’m really sorry again.”

“You shouldn’t be. I enjoyed it It was an accident.”

Now if you forget the ghost of a smile on his face every time you and him are paired up for more cleaning duty

“It’s always a pleasure, (Y/n).”

No forgiveness needed because it's his right to be deserving of all things you

The ones he'll have to ask forgiveness for is the ones who will end up dying as his obstacles

I'm really interested in what Vaggie's deal is

I'm surprised that through 4 episodes the one that's still the most mysterious is Vaggie. We know a little bit about everyone else, except for Niffty, that little adorkable freak, but Vaggie? What's her deal? I mean besides being an ex-Exterminator cause a lot about her behavior and lines is just really interesting to me.

Obviously she loves Charlie and wants to make her dreams come true. But the way she worded it in the song made it seem like they shared that maybe? She said that it felt so good to be understood. So she could have been seeing the years of Exterminations and then she realized that someone, not just anyone but the Princess of Hell is like her, she shared her goals. Or it could be them both being outcasts, Charlie is pretty soft and sweet for Hell, and Vaggie might have been too fed up with taking orders to kill and started acting out of line for an Exterminator.

Given that she said the way she learned to trust is by "surviving" and her whole military talk with everyone else I think it's safe to say that her own training was brutal. There's also the fact that she threatened to hurt the Hotel gang if they didn't catch Angel Dust, and then threw everyone off the roof and into battle by force because "it was how she was taught" to trust people.

Which is pretty fucked up and even Charlie called her out on it and was surprised.

And that brings me to something else, it's possible that Charlie doesn't know that Vaggie was an Exterminator. When they're on the roof Vaggie says she's supposed to make Charlie's dream a reality, to protect her and to never fail her. That last one seemed particularly important and she follows it up with "If I can't help you what's the point of me?"

Before those words we had Charlie say "Vaggie you're not- you're not-" what? I'm assuming she meant to say a failure but then why hesitate? Maybe she wanted to say she wasn't like the rest of the Exterminators anymore? But if Charlie knew that why would she question Vaggie's way of trust exercises?

As soon as Charlie starts to try and comfort her girlfriend she stops her, which makes me think that Vaggie doesn't feel like she's worthy of Charlie unless she can prove it somehow. She doesn't even want to hear how she's making Charlie happy because in that moment she thought she was a failure. But as soon as Charlie is sad in the next episode Vaggie is ready to stay by her side until she feels better and later carries her to bed. She's willing to give comfort and love but seems very hesitant in getting it back.

It seems to go with what Husk said, Vaggie hates herself and so she judges others and doesn't trust them because her walls are constantly up. The only one she lets get to her is Charlie and even then there are barriers she still has up.

When she sings the lyrics, "When I saw your face you made me feel like a stranger in a brand new place." I think this is going back to her and Charlie's first meeting, where Vaggie went from seeing Hell as a horrible place to seeing there are those like Charlie there and that it really wasn't all bad. She fell to Hell and became a Sinner in a way, no longer there to kill but there to say, a place that she once knew now seen in a different light.

But the verse that really made me think she's actually hiding the fact that she was from Heaven is the line "There's so much that I wish I could say... I'll spend my life being your partner." At this point I'm not sure that Vaggie even fully trusts Charlie. Because why would she hide who she is from the one person who she should know won't judge her for past mistakes, whose dream it is to help people?

She needs to be sure redemption is possible, she needs to be sure that when she tells Charlie the truth that there is hope for her own redemption. No one ever ascended up but now we have at least 3 who fell, one is depressed as fuck, one has been missing for 7 years and the last hates herself and is unable to open up to her girlfriend without fear of rejection and her own failure.

None of these people seem to be in a good place right now.

Btw have you seen Disney’s wish and if so what’s your review on it? And how would you Rewrite the story? To me it had interesting contact about your Wishes being a part of yourselves and without it you feel hollow but too bad it was written poorly. The “Villain” Magnifico kind of had the point of not all of the wishes are supposed to be granted Example “My Wish is to get a Rocket Launcher to aim that Talking Goat and the rest of This Freaking Kingdom!” With that said next is Asha! There is no reason for her to be “Adorkable” or “Quirky” we already have Princesses and Characters like that! let them have their own Personality Already!! One problem with Asha is she should have been Magnifico’s Apprentice for a long time in the start but instead of selecting her to Be His “Apprentice” throughout the Movie 🤦🏻‍♀️ and have you seen the Concept Arts?👀 Spoilers! King and Queen are supposed to be Evil Together! and The “Star” is supposed to be like a person or it? That comes from the stars? it would’ve been cool to named it “Stardust” instead of “star” the concept art looks so Amazing than the one we have now and Also No Comedy in this movie it’s to Boring and so as the Songs 😴 we’ve been ROBBED! I might write a review if I have time, but omygod Disney's Wish is SOOOOooooo bad. SO bad. The characters are flat, its nothing but forced in references to other Disney movies, the plot is boring, the songs have all this bravado and make them not catchy- the setting is supposed to be in the Mediterranean but all the animals are from the USA implying they are all invasive species brought over from the settlers of other countries- the comic relief characters aren't funny- the goat himself should be deleted he is so annoying- The star is like, ultimate magic. He made animals sentient, he can make things fly- he can change the size of things like a giant chicken- but he can't open a fcking roof? He can't grant people's wishes? He sort of implies he left that power to Asha, but she sucks at magic. She's the worst person to be handling it. The entire marketing campaign for this movie was about how the villain is "classic Disney". He's NOT???? He's just a narcissistic traumatized(?) control freak King. But then he touches a dark book of magic and now suddenly he's 100% evil and there's no going back for him. Even his wife implies that the book changed him, that the dark magic corrupted her husband beyond repair. The dark magic influenced his personality to make him darker, but he wasn't a legitimate true villain. Classic Disney villains have always been full of themselves. They always manipulated and abused people. They aren't afraid to hurt and kill people. They relish other people's suffering. This King is not like them. They were trying to make him sympathetic from the beginning with actual real reasons to control the kingdom as he does. They do a 180 on his personality. Dude fled from his previous homeland ravaged by war, and has been serving his kingdom for years, he's basically customer service and people can be demanding and needy. Asha herself takes the opportunity to try and weasel in her grandfather's wish through her apprenticeship application and the King is like "Yep. Here we go again."

But the way they show those reasons make his entire operation look stupid. They're like "Look how evil he is for not granting wishes because his judgment is slightly skewed. Look at how evil he is for not returning the wishes because he's------- idk, a control freak? Due to his trauma?" The concept art is definitely better than the final product. I feel like it would have been a decent movie with the original concept. But what annoys me the most is that Disney thinks this is a celebration of 100 years of Disney. It's not! They're only really celebrating the last decade of quirky flat characters, mostly 3D animation, and poor storytelling. The thing that makes me the most angry out of the whole movie? The wishes. The entire concept is nonsense. The bad guy claims that Asha's grandfather's wish is too dangerous to grant. The wish? He's singing to people. fcking WHAT. "I want to be an exclusive tailor." "I want to be a sailor!" "I want to sing to kids and inspire them-" THE PEOPLE OF ROSAS ARE SO STUPID.??????? THEY CAN ACHIEVE THOSE CAREERS ON THEIR OWN. THE KING OF ROSAS. IS A SORCERER.

We have TWO wishes that are actually physically impossible and magical. "I want to talk to birds!" "I want to fly!" ARE YOU TELLING ME. THAT NO ONE WANTS TO BECOME A FIRE-BREATHING DRAGON AT WILL? HAVE TELEKINESIS? BE A STRONG BODYBUILDER WHO CAN LIFT BUILDINGS? READ MINDS? SEE THE FUTURE? OWN A GIANT CHICKEN THAT GIVES GOLDEN EGGS? WISH TO BE A FAIRY TO CHANGE THEIR SIZE AT WILL?

THOSE. ARE ACTUAL DANGEROUS, UNACHIEVABLE WISHES WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU HAVE A WISH OF WANTING A CAREER AS A FARMER WHEN YOU COULD WISH TO HAVE TOTAL CONTROL OVER PLANT LIFE AT WILL? THE PEOPLE OF ROSAS ARE SO DUMB I CANT WITH THIS IM SORRY IM SO MAD AT THIS MOVIE And the wishes themselves like- people don't have the same wish forever. Someone in the crowd even asked, "Can we change our wish?" It's implied maybe they can even have more than one. They also straight up forget their wish when they give it up to the King? This whole thing feels like a weird metaphor for real life in a magical setting. It doesn't make sense to me.

One of my friends said they heard a theory that this entire movie is secretly a jab at Corporate Monopoly Disney, how they won't let anyone else be magical (monopoly), how they only choose 12 wishes a year to grant (Internships), and how the wishes they choose to grant are useless to the kingdom because anything else more creative or inspiring is a threat (regurgitated sequels, uninspired stories, boring formula) and how the ending is about defeating the "villain" (Disney) and moving on to try and achieve your dreams yourself (Form a Union, start your own businesses, take back animated media) and viewing the movie through THAT lens is actually incredibly metaphorically genius and made the movie less terrible for me, intentional or not But yeah anyway, Wish is bad. I keep telling people. Disney is so dumb. THIS is what people want for a Disney celebration: CROSSOVER. DISNEY CINEMATIC UNIVERSE. Disney will probably do it badly but I'm telling you, people have been wanting this for YEARS.

They did it with House of Mouse, they can do it again.

Like everyone else, I'm freaking sick and tired of Disney's adorkable problem with it's modern heroines and them being allergic to exploring different personality types in the revival era. So instead of explaining why the problem is bad, I tried to fix it by giving these characters more individual personalities that would still work in their respective stories. I am surprised how much I loved it. I was gonna watch one episode per day but I failed and watched all 3 in one day.

I'm disappointed Clancy Brown and Patrick Schwarzenegger's character died in the first freaking episode but it wouldn't be The Boys without someone getting killed. Hopefully we'll see them in the flashback or something.

Honestly Emma is giving me Enid Sinclair (Wednesday Addams' roommate) vibe except more adult. I was expecting her to do some sort of sexual act while small but didn't expect it to be hanging off a dick. That shit was funny as hell.

I really like Marie's character but I really hope they don't do a plot twist that she was born with the powers because it was already confirmed that Ryan from The Boys was the first. I hate it when spinoffs contradict the originals. I know they're in the same universe but not every fan of The Boys are going to watch Gen V. I think Marie's parents giving her Compound V would be more interesting because that might mean her sister got powers too. Maybe she's in the woods. I had no idea the actress played Rosalind on Chilling Adventure of Sabrina. She looks so different with the new hair style and glasses (less nerdy looking).

I thought Jordan Li was going to be my fav because their super power seem really cool but I honestly don't like them. Their personal story is interesting but I don't like them as a person. Maybe that'll change later on. Actually someone said they shipped them with Marie and I'm actually interested. I love enemies to lovers trope.

I honestly thought Cate was gonna be the typical popular girl but she's a good person. Well her sexual assaulting people isn't cool but hey it's The Boys.

Andre as a character is ok but his story line is very predicable. There had to be at least one parent on the show who knows whats going on. I have to give credit to the actor who plays the dad. I loved the way he was able to express himself with his eyes.

I feel like Sam is gonna be my new favorite adorkable character.

I'm sure everyone noticed how God U is short for Godolkin University but do you see how it plays into the supes god complex? I mentioned this before a long time ago how Vought must've taught Homelander that he's basically a god and superior to humans. This proves that all these supes are being brainwashed to believe this.

Wow, I was not expecting this chapter to be a continuation from the previous one!

To start off, Becky is still a little home wrecker that Martha has to keep in check 😅

Meanwhile, Twilight and Yor continue to be adorkable idiots about their relationship, obsessing so much about being "normal" - something that neither of them has experience with - that they endlessly misunderstand the other's intention. Then they panic when they misunderstand the other's misunderstanding, and so keep misunderstanding more. When will at least one of them get a clue and sever this endless loop? 😂 (but it is nice to see that Twilight will still immediately freak out whenever he thinks Yor is upset with him).

I'll discuss all their exchanges in depth when I get to this chapter in my analysis post series, but anyway...Yuri is back! It's been a while since we've seen him so I had a feeling he'd be back soon. His contradicting thoughts continue to amuse me.

Also nice to see that Yor can be tough with him when she needs to be.

Yuri watches cartoons with Anya? And he doesn't seem all that begrudging about this either. Maybe he's ever so slightly accepting the fact that he's her uncle.

And is this Twilight telling Yuri to shut up?! I don't think he's ever talked like that to anyone, especially not when he's trying to act as Loid Forger. His patience with Yuri must really be wearing thin, and/or he's that desperate about mending his relationship with Yor asap.

Now I don't like speculating about things too much, but I have a feeling this arc may involve more than just the SSS and WISE trying to outwit each other. There would be no reason for most of this chapter to continue the Twiyor situation from the previous chapter if that wasn't still important in whatever is going to happen later. While Yor did go home at the end of this chapter, that doesn't mean her role in this arc is finished. We might not see her again until the end when/if Twilight stays true to his word that he'll talk about her gripes with her later. But maybe what he ends up saying to her will be affected by whatever happens to him on this mission (i.e, he gets close to losing what he has with Operation Strix and realizes he doesn't want that). Or maybe Yor will continue to be involved in some way...we didn't actually see her return home yet, and even if she did, you never know what could happen. Or maybe that was the end of it and their whole marriage gripe thing won't be brought up again. But I don't think so. We'll see! I don't think we're at the point for Twiyor identity reveals yet, but maybe a reveal on Yuri's end? Regardless, I'm excited for what appears to be a new major story arc!

My Atlantis The Lost Empire Review!🗺️🪖💎🏺💣🛞🧭⚓🛟

Okay, stimming done! I should note, I don't hold back in my reviews. I see something wrong? I can and WILL say it! Luckily, there's like, nothing wrong with this movie, so you won't hear much of that from me! Lol!🤣 This is first time doing this kinda thing. So I apologize for any errors or incorrect formatting.

Now, without further adu, the review! (Hey that rhymes!) Below the cut cus it's LOOOOOOOOOONG!!!! It's literally the longest post I've made. And there's SPOILERS! So beware!

Okay, I'm not even sure where to start cus this is one INSANE ride of a movie! I mean HOLY COW!!! IF ALL OF DISNEY'S MOVIES WERE THIS GOOD, I'D WATCH

I'm not even kidding. I don't know what I'm doing, so let's just start with the World building.

WORLD BUILDING

This movie ROCKS in the world building department. Everything is well rounded out and looks stunning. One of the things that I found most exciting was the fact that they made a WHOLE FRICKEN USEABLE LANGUAGE FOR THIS MOVIE!!!!!! They actually brought in a linguist to make it!!!! That's how committed they were!!! Do you hear about Disney doing this nowadays? NOOOOOOOOOOO!

Also, THE STEAMPUNK AESTHETIC.

LOOK AT THIS SUB!!!! LOOK AT IT!!!!!

It's so detailed and cool looking!!!! If I saw this in love action, I think I'd freak! How can steam powered vessel go below the crush depth?

I DON'T CARE!!! IT'S AWESOME!!! (I especially like that bubble in the front. How fun! I'd definitely be looking out of that thing all the time!) I heard people say that watched the scene with the Leviathan attacking the sub thought it looked so real, that some people who worked on army subs got FLASHBACKS!!! I'm not even kidding! Everything during those scenes felt so real and immersive! You can tell Disney did their home work!

Okay now Atlantis itself!

It feels like it's own culture. It's feels real. It doesn't feel or look like a lazy combination of two cultures. It's distinct and interesting looking. And the people are very unique in appearance too. With their blue eyes, white hair, and coppery brown skin. It's a beautiful combination. And their clothes are nice as well. Lots of bright colors. Mostly blues, purples, magentas, etc. Very beautiful.❤️

OH! OH! AND THEIR TECHNOLOGY!!!! Oh my gosh!!! That leviathan and those fish shaped flying machines?!! HECKIN RAD!!!! How are they made?!?? What are they made out of?!??? So many QUESTIONS!!!!!!

I especially love the use of crystals in the Atlantian technology. I actually studied stuff like that and from what I've found in my research, it was actually entirely possible that ancient civilizations, like Atlantis used Crystals in somes ways of energy. Which is amazing! I don't know if that's where they got inspiration. But I found it intriguing none the less!

And the Creatures were also cool! They felt almost alien or prehistoric in appearance! It was really cool. Some of the creatures looked like they came straight from Pandora from the movie Avatar! I'm a sucker for fantasy creatures and speculative biology. So I'd love to see If I could figure out everything about the ecosystem of Atlantis! To bad they didn't go into more detail about it, but the movie wasn't about the critters. Still, hats of to the crew for giving them such interesting designs!

Okay, Onto more stuff!

THE CHARACTERS

Milo. He's adorkable.

That's it. He's perfect. I love him.

Okay, lol. Actually I have a lot to say. They gave him SOOOOOOOOO much personality! He's dynamic and easy to read! He's allowed to push his expressions and be exaggerated! He's just so fun to watch! Big thumbs up to his animator(s). And look at those glasses! And that hair! Such a good character design! He's just so fun and loveable looking!❤️

And he's allowed to show a full range of emotions! I know this one sounds weird. But it drive me crazy when a character is only allowed to show one emotion and by completely defined by it. Like being sickingly happy go lucky, or dark and moody. It's like, that's all you're going to do with them? But Milo, goes through the full range of emotions in the movie. He's got excitement from going into the unknown. Sadness and grief from the loss of his grandpa and parents. Righteous anger at Commander Rourke's betrayal and utter disregard for the Atlantian people's lives. He experiences everything and it all feels so relatable. He's just the best. I also love how enthusiastic and kind hearted he is. He has the heart of a hero despite his first impressions. And his cute crush on Kida is the best. He's such a goober. He needs to be considered a Disney Prince. He deserves it more than most.

Kida is GORGEOUS. 🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ LOOK AT HER DESIGN! IT ROCKS!!!! WHY THE HECK IS SHE NOT AN OFFICIAL DISNEY PRINCESS!?!??!? SHAME ON YOU DISNEY!!!! She has ALL the qualifications!!!!

She's strong! Mentally, emotionally, AND fricken physically!!! She cares deeply about her people and her culture!!!! She is ROYALTY. She is a WARRIOR!!! She is a QUEEN!!! If any of the "forgotten Disney Princesses" deserved the title of official princess, it HER! FORGET RAYA!!! You're telling me that the Disney heroin that taught people to trust their abusers, EVEN AFTER THEY'VE HURT THEM MULTIPLE TIMES and then GUILT TRIPS THEM, deserved the title of Disney Princess more than THIS WOMAN?!??! BULL! ABSOLUTE BULL! (Sorry for the rant. I have to refrain myself for going on a lecture about how Raya never deserved that title. She is my least favorite Disney princess. 😖👎 KIDA ALL THE WAY!!!!😄👍💕)

Oh, and her and Milo are the cutest couple. I heard people were upset because they didn't get a big kiss at the end. NO! They didn't kiss at the end of the movie! They didn't need to! They just FLIPPEN met!!! I wouldn't either! We're they still an adorable couple? HECK YES!!! They cared about each other and learned from each other and UGH! They so CUTE!!!!! And Milo gets to be King Consort of the Kingdom he spent his entire life searching for alongside his Queen who is also the woman he loves! How great an ending is that?! He knows they were both great rulers. You know it.

Commander Rourke. I hate this man.

I can't even find any good gifs of him. THAT'S HOW MUCH PEOPLE DESPISE HIM! Rourke is the DEVIL! Hidden under the guise of a good old American Army Commander! Which is why he is one of the BEST if not THE BEST Disney villains! He was about to let an entire lost civilization of people die, just because he wanted their LIFE FORCE!!! He definitely deserved to be transformed into a crystal creature then shattered. What a complete MONSTER!!!

I have to admit, I was actually already spoiled by the twist ending. I already knew about it from multiple sources. But somehow, that didn't matter! I watched it and I still felt connected to Rourke, even though I knew what was coming! It was so good! Rourke was written as the stereotypical brave army commander. Down to the last detail. Making a memorial for the lost crew mates. Being friendly with the main cast. Acting like a true gentleman. This is why he makes such a good villain. Nobody expects someone like him to be in league with the NAZIS of all things! Ultimately, he was an absolutely cruel and insane man, that nobody saw coming. It is probably the BEST twist villain I have EVER seen. Incredible writing. Wow.

Now, I'm not sure If I want to go through every single character. But I loved the all and definitely have thoughts on them, so I'm gonna speed run this.

Lieutenant Helga Katrina Sinclair. MA'AM??? Just what do you think you're doing in a kids movie?!!??

🤣 Okay, in all seriousness. She was actually a cool character. She was tough as nails, beautiful, confident. To bad she was that jerk Rourke's head lackey. I mean, she sort redeemed herself toward the end. But it was mostly because she was mad at Rourke for betraying her. Not because she cared about the Atlantis or Kida. Soooooooo... I don't know.🤔

Audrey Rocio Ramirez. LOVE HER!!!!

Her backstory his incredible. Her dad wanted sons. He got two daughters. Audrey and her sister. But you know what? That didn't stop them! He wanted someone to run the garage with him? HE GOT IT! And she's good too! I also love the little detail in her backstory that says her sister is a literal heavy weight boxing champion. You go girl! Show'm what's up! I wish they had given her a name. (I'm gonna give her the name Rosa. That feels right.)

Wilhelmina Bertha Packard. Honestly the most relatable character in the movie.😂 This one gif pretty much sums it up for me.

Somehow, I feel like me and old Mrs. Packard would get along just fine.🤣

Vincenzo "Vinny" Santorini. I'm not sure whether he's crazy or just like explosives a whole lot. Lol.

I actually thought he was Russian the first time I saw him. It wasn't until I found out he was Italian that I realized I made a horrible mistake in identifying his accent. 😂 His almost always neutral expression is helirious. I guess once you've blow up a lot of stuff, nothing phases you. Haha!

As someone who has Native American ancestry, (my grandfather is Apache,) I was SO excited to see a someone who is half Native American in this film! I mean, half Black and half Native American?! That's INCREDIBLE! I can safely say I've never seen that type of representation in a film before. And he's also one of my favorite characters.

Gaetan "Mole" Molière. This dude is WEIRD... And of course I love him. Haha!

I was laughing so hard when I first saw this guy come on screen. He's so dramatic! But he's french, so I guess that fits.

That's one of the best lines in the film. ☝️😂 But seriously, what can I say? Crazy southern chuckwagon cook with as many unhinged stories as he has pounds of bacon grease. How could I not love him? 😂❤️ One thing I wondered was if this was such a high budget expedition, why couldn't they get like a five star chef instead? NOT THAT I'D WANT THAT BESIDES COOKIE!!! I'd be so mad if they replaced him. I was just curious. But I'm not gonna question it. He's the best and I love him. No five star chef could ever top Cookie.

Kashekim Nedakh i.e The King of Atlantis! WOW.

LEONARD NIMOY?!!?!?? That was pretty much my reaction when I found out who played Kida's father. Who would have guessed that Spock would end up playing a king from a lost empire?! The crew that worked on this movie said that while he was in the recording both, they were stunned. He put his whole heart into the role. They felt like the king was standing there in the room with them! And I FELT that. He sounded just so real! It actually sounded like I was listening to a real ancient king speaking. He was amazing for the role. I'm floored.

THE STORY

The story was amazing. I got a lot of Jules Vern Journey to The Center of The Earth vibes. It was clearly inspired by it.

Milo felt very much like the Axel of the story. Despite being much braver then him. The whole thing felt so cinematic and thrilling! Me and my family were either screaming with excitement or laughing super hard the whole way though.

As the for the moral? Well, it's actually kinda hard to pinpoint exactly. But I think that because unlike other movies, it lets the story show the moral instead of the characters telling us directly.

I would say it shows what happens when people value money and power over human life. Which is important in the time we live in. And that people's culture should be respected.

In all. A very good movie and I highly recommend it. It's a fun, bold, thrilling adventure that you will love.

BTTMW4 recap

Well, here we go ...

General

As most of you heard, last year's con, BTTMW2, with 14 guests was a fucked-up fiasco. This one ... wasn't anywhere near as bad.

(Though, tbf, there was no way for a con to be worse than last year's edition. Even the DI staff said that.)

There was better communication and fewer delays. And the cast didn't look like they were about to keel over any second.

There were even actual JATP panels! On both days! With all of the cast being present! All the time! And they actually got to talk about their show and other projects.

After three years, there wasn't much new information. The cast talking about the props they received (in Owen's case: stole) from the set was the most interesting thing.

Though Charlie talking about how he got sent to community theater bc he kept playing air guitar at his hockey games was so freaking adorable. And it felt so Luke.

The party ... and the "JATP concert"

So, while BTTMW4 was a fantastic experience in general, the party was a huge disappointment.

We already had a bad start. One of my friends is in a wheelchair, and the main access to the room was via a few steps. What kind of genius idea was this, DI?! It took them quite a few minutes to figure out how to get her down to the room. On the way back, I followed her. It was like an escape game.

So, yeah, not the ideal start.

And it didn't get much better. After last year's experience, I stayed away from the food. As cute as it looked, I wasn't keen on getting a Sunset Curve experience again.

Now the "JATP concert"

Well, it wasn't a "JATP concert". It was mostly Madi performing her own music. The closest we got to a JATP concert was her singing along to "Stand Tall" - the song was playing while the cast entered the room.

It was obvious that the guys didn't want to get on stage and sing. That's absolutely understandable. But then DI shouldn't have advertised it as a JATP concert. There were people who paid €220 for this party just to see the JATP concert. I'd be fuming if I had paid for that. (Please, don't get me wrong. Madi has an amazing voice. Unfortunately, her music doesn't do it any justice. And the terrible playback made it worse.)

So, anyway, yeah, not a good concert. The party got slightly better after the concert. Brenna D'Amico saved the party by getting on stage and doing group karaoke with the fans.

Random thoughts and occurrences:

Owen saying that this year was the first time he didn't get a gift for Nikolaus was heartbreaking

Owen with his giant emotional support candy cane - adorkable

The Chowen meeting room was exactly as messed up as a friend and I predicted - two independent conversations in one room: The French fans chatting with Charlie and the rest of us talking to Owen in English. (How the French girls actually understood Charlie's archaic French - no clue. Magic.)

I got nervous when I gave Charlie his ghosties. He squeezed the bag, noticed the content was squishy, and asked if he should keep his dog away from it ... RIP Ghosties - they'll be Koa's snack.

The ones who actually looked into their bags (Sacha, Madi & Owen) said they liked the ghosties.

We got a video message from Kenny, saying he's working on some theatre productions. (I really hope he didn't ditch us bc of Zac's star on the Walk of Fame, though.)

The hotel charged €14 for a footlong sandwich. WTF?! I didn't buy one, but I kinda want to know what was on this sandwich. €14 ... even at overpriced train station shops, I get 3 sandwiches for the same price. The hotel was pretty fancy, though.

Today is Bart Johnson's (Coach Bolton) birthday. At the closing ceremony, right after DI said again that it would be the last con, he got a birthday cake, and he was asked to make a wish. So he said: "BTTMW5"! The faces of the DI bosses were priceless.

Honestly, it looks like DI might cave and do another edition. But who knows.

Fun fact: While my souvenir is COVID, all my friends got influenza. WTF?!

There are probably more things to talk about, but my brain is too foggy to come up with more stuff. So that's what you get for now.

John Silver says to James Flint that he has noticed everyone James Flint got very close to died directly from their association with him (this isn't fair but it is factual), but is very confident that at the end of their relationship it's going to be Flint that is dead. This is as threatening a thing as anyone can say, and it's freaking me out that James Flint finds it entirely so CUTE.

Look at his whole demeanor. He just finds John Silver, who just told him, I am not vulnerable to you now, every kind of adorable, possibly even adorkable, and doesn't really ask essential questions like WHY DO YOU FEEL LIKE THIS.

What is your favorite Starscream voice? Chris Latta is awesome and freaking hilarious. I wish he was alive so I could tell him how much I loved his Screamer and Cobra Commander voices. He’s so chaotic. An absolute god. <3

(I’m open to other voices for Screamer too, they just have to be either 1) high pitched, screechy, chaos god or 2) suave and sexy, which I realized I like after listening to Steve Blum’s voice in a Screamer voice comparison video.)

Chris Latta is easily my favorite! I also liked Tom Kenny's rendition too, but I'm biased because I like him as a VA in general. Steve Blum is great. To me he sounds more like a cunning decrepit old man than suave & sexy, but I can totally see your POV after relistening to it again ^-^

Ok, I just finished Bloodhounds and I still need to scream apparently so here it goes? (Spoilers warning; so beware if you haven’t seen it all yet...)

I came for Woo Do Hwan (no surprise here of course), but actually stayed for and truly enjoyed so much more :) 

First, I have been devastatingly hit in the face/guts/soul right from moment one by Kim Gun/Geon Woo (to which should we stick?). Let’s start with that glorious opening (which i do not need to mention), and then BAM he’s in truth such a pure lovely adorkable cutiepie at the core, and i just melted right away and forever. Yes, please keep politely apologizing while teaching assholes a lesson - this is such a badass move :) - and yet he’s so sincere in his restraint not to harm the stupid irrespectuous nobody and OH MY, THAT’S IT, I LOVE YOU. (I actually rewind that scene THRICE at first watch before going on with the story: that means something.) And then you bet the narrative did put my poor new blorbo though the wringer over and over, and it was sweetly bitterly devastating each and every time - because of course that man does *DRAMA* just so very very very well. And I was so afraid yet definitely expecting his big squeechy heart would end up entirely erased - and ready to go to WAR to save it - (and so ’’Hyung I’ve become a bloodhound’’ was IMO the most heartbreaking line of the show :() - but OH THANK FOR ONCE THE NARRATIVE that it didn’t happen, no matter what? I AM JUST SO HAPPY? (Who cares about gold and being realistic anyway :))

Then, THE FIGHTS. Porn. PURE PORN. The choregraphies, the execution - everything was a (brutal) delight (sort of) to watch. (And yes those seriously mind blowing breath stopping jaw dropping crouchy crouching forward low hits / escapes / moves / combinations definitely caused a new obsession for WDH’s thighs (Honestly? Like I needed yet another obsession over the man? SEND HELP). And I am not ashamed. He obviously trained, and that’s plain to see, so respectfully taking NOTICE is like the minimum I can do to thank him for his service?)

Also, on a side note, I’m a Rocky fan since my youth (yes, I’m a dinosaur, and my sister and I as teens used to watch Rocky IV (along with Top Gun, Dirty Dancing and Pretty Woman) about every rainy sunday - vhs time, sigh...), so I just LOVED all the ‘training’ moments (and not only for THE SHOW (even if my, my what a show...). Just the wink to the iconic running up the stairs had me with such a silly happy smile on my face :) And that ‘please hit me in the abs with a ball’ had me laughing way too hard and will be forever favourite. And the clapping between push ups was the sweetest thing ever. I could go on and on. *dreamy sigh sigh sigh* (and yes, also drooling sigh sigh sigh - but it is not the point i’m trying to make here...)

And then: Hong Woo Jin, my other beloved, of course !! What a sweety pie too !! Their chemistry was just GREAT !! He does care for that kid !! (Also, they wanted to kill him at first in the script? Thanks FATE then - because Gun Woo and Woo Jin DO come in pair - DO NOT SEPARATE !! GRRRR !!) And Badass archer granddaughter Da Min :) And Kim Myung-gil was a delicious villain, with a bonus true bro Kang In-beom to boot.

(Only minus points being (in no particular order) 1) the plot going on moments ‘what are you even doing/thinking/this is not a plan’ (and odd character disappearance (not that much problematic to me because I didn’t really care about Hyeon-joo) - explained since then) 2) the (apparently obligatory in kdrama - should I start worrying about you all?) ‘just let’s get so very drunk’ moments (besides what’s even the point of making a plan while drunk and not remember it in the morning? (do I drink alcohol? YES. (and btw I mean whisky, not beer or so). have i ever been drunk? no. (am i a self-control freak? YOU BET!)) BUT WHEN THEY MADE MY BLORBO DRINK I FELT LIKE CRYING AND THROWING A FIT !! Respect my man’s trauma about his abusive dad (you will not have me believe it was only Mom getting beaten - MY HEART) and his own pledge to himself - even without the obvious reason, everyone is free to decide for themselves what they want to do or not, okay !! GRRRRRRR !! (Luckily though he didn’t get actually drunk and I was SO relieved (I would have been really, really PISSED if they had, because my man would have been feeling so filthy and sick and I would have been devastated and FURIOUS) - had he eaten a lot beforehand? did he make himself regularly puke in the toilets? (the others were so gone they wouldn’t have noticed) Leave my baby alone, anyway !! 3) And well, the torture stuffs and general sort of purification of badness imo = irk !! There are mostly grey characters and greyer characters here (and two sunshines!); do not try to present them as being models of goodness? 4) And last, not a fan of the way Mom was written too - your omelets do look great indeed but where are your claws to defend your shiny and SO deserving of your love and *protection* son, Madam? (I am a Mom) - but I guess it was meant to make Geon Woo only more blorblo worthy, so I guess I’d just have to forget if not approve?)  

Anyway: no need for a season 2 - let them forever from now on just be besties and idiots in peace, please pretty please !! (I would though definitely enjoy a special about them training some more (Woo Jin as trainer :)) etc until  Kim Gun/Geon Woo ends up champion of course, lol - pretty please JUST GIVE IT TO ME!!)

Looking forward to in S4

What I look forward to the most in S4, that I hope is included, is how much of a pathetic adorkable loser Rupert is.

So, Rupert has never stopped loving Lari this whole time. But he lies (!!) and tells her he "loved" her, because she had told him to stop loving him, and he wanted to respect that wish (cries).

He was SUPER WORRIED ABOUT HER when she disappeared a second time, and brought her back to the palace against her will because he was worried and anxious out of his wit's end and the palace is safest place for her right now. BUT, he's so scared that she'll hate him and be angry, that he only visits her and peeks in when she's asleep. The poor guy made a bold decision to bring her back but is actively hiding from her for a few days and maintains a distance. This causes Lari to worry that HE hates her and is ignoring her ^^; When she finally corners him in his office to talk, he pretends to be distant and cold, but they're able to speak somewhat normally as before. When she momentarily passes out during the walk back to her room, he freaks out and now has maids attending and watching over her and making sure she's well cared for.

The next few days (after seeing that Lari doesn't hate or fear him as much, and that she had visited HIS office), he visits her a few times a day to chat, and finally hears from her that she doesn't hate or fear him, but also she doesn't know what to think about him or being back at the place. He still treats her as gently and kindly as ever, which she notices. The next time they meet, after some dramatic moments, Lari finally confesses her feelings, and Rupert hilariously immediately drops his "smooth, cold, Emperor" act and goes back to the goofy and crushing Rupe we know :'DDD (from manhwa chapter 90-106)

Even Louis is shocked at Rupert's instantaneous simpery change, where every break he has, he spends with Lari now - they do low key stuff like reading together, just chatting, spending time in the garden etc - just enjoying each other's presence and catching up. I'm very much looking forward to the super sweet Rupe after that confession. So much sweetnesssss. Also it's so funny how Lari takes Rupert's coldness and fierceness in stride "yup, that's him... i used to be afraid of his glare" hahah

Rebels Rewatch: “Fighter Flight”

We went out shopping and wound up stealing a military aircraft, only on Rebels people, only on Rebels.

This is one of my favorite episodes to rewatch, it’s just so FUN.

A very pretty shot of Lothal, pre-burninating, and a short mellow excerpt of the Main Titles theme to open us up.

Behind the scenes it seems that Kanan has been teaching Ezra something, because he’s poised over this bowl like he’s ready and raring to practice something he learned.

You know I gotta talk about it, it’s the flirting scene!

Look at this dork trying to be all suave and charming. ^_^

It doesn’t work because of course Ezra is fourteen and a dumbass just how I like ‘em but I like that Sabine never really seems overly bothered by his attempts, mildly irritated at worst, and even then she never gives him a hard no and she’s plenty capable, she certainly doesn’t let niceties get in the way of her speaking her mind on other things.

(See: How she was almost outright rude to Kanan and Hera about the whole Fulcrum thing.)

Subtle animation appreciation moment: Ezra briefly losing his place leaned against the doorframe and having to quickly readjust.  Adorkable.

Zeb, you’re already awake, there’s no point to threatening Ezra here.

Smug little bastard I love him so much.

I really do like that they explore the inevitable friction that was going to occur when you house a snarky teenager with a cranky grown adult.  It builds naturally off the previous episode.

Plus I just love Zeb and Ezra’s dynamic and love seeing them grow to respect and care about each other, sue me.

This is nitpicky but... sometimes the paths the characters take through this ship make no damn sense.

Like right here, Ezra comes out of the nose gun pod... which can only be accessed via the cockpit ladder that he immediately runs to.  We can hypothesize that maybe he made a detour via the vents, as in the pilot, but... Zeb comes that path too.  And he definitely doesn’t fit in the Ghost’s ventilation system.

Granted I notice this because I obsessively charted out the Ghost’s layout but still, it bugs me.

Zeb coming in with a flying leap to tackle Ezra will never not be hilarious.

The Found Family dynamics are in full swing this episode; Hera lording over as Team Mom, Zeb and Ezra acting like squabbling siblings, pretty sure this is the first time someone refers to the other three as “the kids”, Kanan and Hera being absolutely low-key married...

The bouncy, elastic character movement is also very prominent here.  Like I said, the show loses this as it goes on, but it lends itself perfectly to the comedy of this episode.

Please appreciate Ezra swiping at Zeb like a feral cat with me.

Subtle animation appreciation moment: The animators take time out to have Ezra scratching up into his hair as he turns from Sumar.  I love little tiny character details like this, it just makes things feel so natural and organic.

Imperial March snatches coming on the clarinet here.

Again with the small character moments, Ezra crouching and readying his slingshot.

Rebels said Eminent Domain is the arm of state tyranny, pass it on.

Friiiiiiick the height difference between Ezra and Zeb is getting to me, he is so freaking tiny!

No wonder everyone he meets feels the immediate need to adopt and protect him.

Serious question: What exactly does the Empire want or need with a crate of meilooruns?  They hardly seem the type to care that much about the nutritional needs of their troops.

Like as not it’s for the plate of an officer with an expensive palate.

Ezra already responding much better to Zeb’s shoulder punches.

I would like to just reiterate: I love Zeb and Ezra’s friendship, it is adorable, they play so nicely off each other and I’m glad they got this bonding episode in early Season One.

The bouncy woodwind that’s been picking away in the background here transitions seamlessly into the Force theme prelude, hgn I LOVE it when the score adds to plot beats.

I could be wrong, but this sounds vaguely like a cue from ANH when the Stormtroopers were chasing Han and Chewie.

Ezra being so smol that Zeb can literally chuck him up to a rooftop. *cries*

Baron Valen Rudor was featured in Ezra’s introductory short (Zeb’s too I think?), it’s kind of a running gag how the Rebels show up to ruin this guy’s day in particular.  And it is hilarious.

Please appreciate Zeb’s maniacal cackle as he blasts troopers away with the TIE fighter with me.

Oh wow, I never noticed the subtle Force ring sound effect right here with Ezra leaping to the other roof.  Nice touch.

I hear some notes from the Return of the Jedi soundtrack here, specifically when the Rebel Alliance is making its attack on the Death Star.  I think that may be one of the leitmotifs associated with the Rebel Alliance specifically?

I really want to know the story behind Ezra’s, “You don’t know how.  Let me!” here.

A lot of this really seems to suggest that Ezra’s flown ships before.

Force ring sound effect coming in as Ezra senses the approaching rock formation and once again, I love this show’s animation.  I think I have a gifset of this moment specifically under my #your clone wars could never tag.

(Explanation: That tag is mostly for appreciating early Season One Rebels animation, which is on the level of TCW’s Season Three at least.)

I may be a Sabezra whore at heart, but I do love how casually domestic Kanan and Hera are right here.

This is one of the funniest exchanges on the show. XD

Subtle animation appreciation moment: Zeb’s ear flickers and the awkward way Ezra scratches his face.

Ezra’s “I think I know where it [the smoke] is coming from.” makes me think he’s visited the Sumar’s farm at least once or twice and knows its general location.

IIRC a large part of this episode’s inspiration was the toy or concept of this specific transport right here.  Fun trivia fact.

I don’t think anyone anticipated Lyste becoming more prominent a player lol.

Like an OC you get inexplicably fond of.

Oh hey!  Ezra’s theme is piping in here!

Oh frick is that a Dies Irae reference?

(For context, the Dies Irae is basically an ooooooooold classical music meme, usually used to musically portent death, doom, or gloom.  Star Wars tends to use the Dies Irae liberally.  Rogue One in particular had heavy Dies Irae references in several of its tracks.)

This music cue, on the other hand?  Unique to Rebels.  Kind of fun, but then I’m a soundtrack nerd and enjoy this kind of thing.

Zeb continuing in the classic Star Wars tradition of, “We’re fine, we’re all fine here... now... How are you?” failed bluffing lololol.

I know I’ve mentioned my appreciation for the hair animation but... seriously.

It’s so soft-looking.

A stuttered, half-formed variation of the Force Theme here, which only plays a few notes in the sequence, just the suggestion of the leitmotif really.

Luke’s Theme, on the other hand, though in mellow horns, allowed to play more fully, though interrupted on the very end by a sharp discordant note as the Stormtroopers come up top.

This is what we call ~*musical storytelling*~.

Snrk, one Trooper downed by fruit, the other by friendly fire.  Love the whimsical little sting as Ezra’s pelting them with meilooruns.

Still one of the funniest lines in the series.

I wanna know when and how Zeb learned about Ezra’s helmet collecting hobby, did Ezra try to cram his stash on the shelves as soon as he moved in?  Lol.

Awwww and Ezra’s already getting comfortable with arm bumps, love to see it.

I think I can hear some of the cue from the “Property of Ezra Bridger” short.  Pretty sure it’s used as a kind of “Rebel shenanigans” leitmotif throughout the series.

Prime “aww” moment here as Zeb and Ezra wrestle, love love love the boys being affectionate, underrated friendship, gimme more.

Lol, Ezra sounds more confused than offended by Sabine’s painting.

I love this episode it’s got Zeb and Ezra friendship bonding, Kanan/Hera being adorably married, it becomes delightfully relevant to the finale, and it’s hilarious, I don’t really have anything else to say except haters to the left, why don’t you have some fun occasionally?

Tomorrow, the episode that most people said was the hook for them for the show and the start of major Spacedad-Spaceson feels.

Femslash Friday: Couples That Never Were But Should Have Been Vol. 3

It's no surprise to me that Jemma and Daisy/Skye is already a known ship (maybe even popular as far as non-canons go.) So I don’t think I need to discuss how much these two, aesthetically alone, just make sense. 

But I do want to point out that the canon for AoS being what is when it comes to Jemma/Fitz, this FSF post will first focus on one character, who should have at least been a WLW (woman-lovin’ woman a.k.a. sapphic-inclined - pick any orientation label you’d like for that.)

Daisy shoulda been into chicks, y’all. If not to be with Jemma, then to be with some damn body because I needed to see all of her badass femme!top-seme-realness reach its glory.

Jemma is clearly deep in with Fitz when Daisy’s sapphic vibes peak (meaning all her male love interests are dead and she’s focusing on being solo dolo).

My heart would’ve equally, if not more so, melted if we could’ve at least gotten some young adorkable hacker lesbian with the personality of Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds on the team. She could’ve taken over the former Skye’s role as the web-wiz of the group. 

And then these two sapphos could’ve competed against Jemma/Fitz for most adorable couple ever on AoS before Yoyo/Mack even came into existence.

absolutely played by the enchantingly cute Taylor Russell, right? I mean, right?

*lovelorn sigh* .......After getting (emotionally-wounded-and-closed-off) S3/S4-Daisy to open up, let the guard down a bit and return to her normal self some, Daisy and Adorkable Hacker Girl could first bond over hacking and swap stories about their backgrounds as outcasts. Daisy’s being because she was an orphan, Adorkable Hacker Girl’s being because perhaps she was severely neglected and abused by a family whose idea of love was three square meals a day and a slap instead of a fist some days. 

This could lead to conversations about what defines family and revelations about how AHG sees herself as weak compared to Daisy because she has this aversion to violence and could never stand up to her family, stand up for herself or the siblings she cared about. She instead ran away and erased herself from the world by becoming this shape-shifting entity on the internet, which fills her with shame.

Then Daisy could try to teach her how to fight in a very private intimate setting as a way of encouraging her and protecting her from feeling embarrassed, letting her learn at her own pace. Of course, AHG doesn't let on about her traumatic past with violence and goes along with the training because she appreciates the gesture and wants to be close to Daisy. And of course, there comes a point when it all becomes overwhelming. At this point, when AHG shuts down and wants to quit, Daisy realizes, the hard way, that this approach to helping her overcome her aversion was a mistake all along because literally not knowing how to throw a punch is not actually the root of her problem. She could either find out what that root problem is through talking to her or dig through her past with the ole hacker skills and piece it together or do a combination of both.

She’ll go on to rescue AHG from violent ambushes by SHIELD enemies and comfort her later, when she feels like crap for freezing up or freaking out when the team needed her. Then what must follow is the inevitable episode where AHG does something brave without using violence, gets results and a near fatal injury in the process, which will lead to a bedside scene where the girl smiles through the pain and says “I just wanted to be strong like you for once.” 

And then Daisy, sitting next to her in bed and holding her hand with interlocked fingers, will kiss her hand and say “you’re stronger” and with tears sliding down, Daisy will kiss her forehead and---well, you get it, you get it. 

Now, let’s circle back to the idea of Jemma as our sapphic-inclined Daisy’s main love interest. 

As much as I love love love Fitz....his and Jemma's whole universe keeping us apart thing just doesn't hit the same romantic beats (especially since it's waaaay overdone) as Daisy's more recent anything for her thing with Jemma.

What I mean by Anything For is the prioritization of another person’s safety, feelings, and goals over the doer’s own, if they have any. Maybe this is just me over-analyzing things, but I feel like, in the later seasons, we see Daisy shift into the specific role of Jemma’s guardian. First, in a small way in S4 - when Daisy finds Jemma during the LMD take over. 

This scene! this SCENE!?!?! Oh, the way she talks her down, pulls her in, and makes her feel safe, that acting -- THAT acting! This whole moment is what officially awakened me to Skimmons! Daisy was hitting all my romantic hero beats to a TEE but only on some best friend shit. So could you imagine if they were actually a couple and she’s searching for her, trying to talk her down and pulls her in like that, I--dead. I have an entire urban fantasy series about demon slayers planned inspired by these two characters because of this precise moment. It’s working title is literally ‘the Daisy x Jemma story.’ Oh yes, I’m not in the messing around business. If I see wasted potential, I pick it up and I build.

In S5, we see Daisy Anything For Her-ing again in a big way when she goes on a tear through the lighthouse trying to rescue Jemma from alien slavery. Which is way more dramatically and immediately satisfying than just knowing Fitz is somewhere out there ‘working on it.’ 

And then once again, we see more Anything For Her-ing in S6 when Daisy supports Jemma flying them across the universe to fight more aliens looking for Past Fitz. And of course Daisy doesn’t mind being Jemma’s Hound because Jemma’s her bestie and she likely sees it as just doing her duty as Captain of the FitzSimmons ship. To the Hets and others who just happen not to ship them, all these acts of love and devotion are likely seen as just Daisy being a good big sister figure to Jemma and Fitz. And that’s lovely for them. 

But you know what would have been lovely for me, fellow femslashers? Leo Fitz being Jemma’s twin brother this whole time and also, of course, Jemma being gayer than a pack of skittles.

Truth be told, I was never a fan of the Twilight-y/Jacob Black-ish way that Jemma/Fitz started, with the latter harboring these feelings and the former being completely oblivious and then awkward about it at first.

I’m not a fan of the Unrequited Love trope in general. And I love Fitz, so I was rooting for him to move on with someone who didn’t need to ease into the idea of loving him that way. But ease Jemma did. And they’re in it for real and for life...well, for the five minutes a year they get to be in the same room, anyway. 

But what could’ve happened if FitzSimmons were twin siblings instead (and I was the head writer on the show who made Jemma and Daisy definite lady-lovin’ ladies, no squinting required)?? 

Jemma and Daisy’s love story begins post-Ward Betrayal, somewhere in late S2 early S3 with some "my emotional rock" moments, followed up with mild flirtations and blushing denials.

Then, as the pair were just beginning to show more overt feelings toward each other, Jemma starts being all anti-inhuman right when Daisy’s powers are emerging.

After the cat quakes out of the bag and Jemma is angry at Fitz and Daisy for hiding this from her, what ensues between the two girls is a tearful conversation about secrets and lies and fixing things that aren’t broken involving the words “are you afraid me?” & “I would never hurt you” somewhere in between. 

Then, after Jemma has some time to cool off, she apologizes to Twin!Brother Fitz for abandoning him and making him feel broken/discarded, then to True Love!Daisy for making her feel afraid to come to her, and then this quote happens “you have to know that the love I have for you runs deeper than fear of the unknown ever will.” 

only there would be kissing...yeh, lots more kissing.

I could sit here and rewrite every arc and scene with Daisy and Jemma as a couple spliced through it, but I won’t take up anymore time. 

Call me old fashioned but a strong rescue romance theme between a Rogue Toughie living by her own code of honor and a Strong-Willed Softie always surviving some kind of peril with her wits until her knight in shining gauntlets returns for her....the concept just melts my heart.

And that’s the vibe Daisy and Jemma give, especially in later parts of the show, which makes me wish that these two had been given the ‘Love Story of a Lifetime’ instead.

My Thoughts On Canon-Mammon From S2-EP7 Of Helluva Boss Part 1

[Note: This Is For Mature Audience Readers Only, even if I could switch the labels from "Everyone" to "Mature", it might okay as it is for now.......but seriously, this will be for Mature Audience Readers Only. also it is optional to read the whole talking about the episode in this post along with the off topic stuff in this, so only read this if you want to.]

first I want to say Happy Halloween before I give my thoughts on the episode, also if some fans haven't seen it yet, don't read this until after you watched the episode. :)

gotta say, Mammon might seem like a big adorkable goober of a goofball jester, but he is also a jerk.

I know I still want to call dibs on the Mammon from our dimension, cause I still want to punch him below the belt....

even if it is normal to be a bit greedy, but NO one and I mean NO one messes with my Caffeine....and it sucked that they had raised the price on the Coca-Cola, which with that and certain prices that is raised a bit too high at times, can ya blame me thinking that Mammon is involved.

I may be a Defective Earth Angel who doesn't work at 100% like other Earth Angels, and I gave myself the nicknames "Eveningstar Princess" and "The Embodiment Of Weirdness" and there is the whole my still procrastinating with that whole checking to see if my blood type will come out O RH D Negative for a third type...

because who would look forward to getting their finger or thumb pricked by a needle...? and I know I have mentioned before the last few times we tried to check but finally got it right and it was successful, I ended up feeling not so great when doing that blood type test, but I learned to keep my eyes closed and that is what I'm going to do when we finally get around to doing that blood type test again...

but anyway, I might be a Defective Earth Angel but it doesn't mean I like being pushed around...and I don't like having my past lives not being protected properly.

I mean if it were still possible, I would still want to give Lucifer the cold hands to face punishment for doing that rebellion right in the middle of the imbalance between the Masculine and Feminine energies, that is linked to the dethroning of The Goddess and as well as about the Indo-Europeans, like I said before...

I learned about it from that book called "Stones Of The Goddess: Crystals for The Divine Feminine" by Nicholas Pearson.

but I don't want to take slag from Mammon, and if it were possible, I would tackle him to the ground and while he is on his back, I would slap him silly....

and well, if the Mammon from Helluva Boss were real, I would want to call dibs on his butt as well just so I can kick it.

well, I know I never really kicked anyone's butt in real life....unless you count video games.

I know that once I had to be held back when someone was bullying one of my family members, I guess I wasn't really thinking during that time but the moment I saw it, I think I got really mad and when I was about to go over to them, I was being held back....

I know I was a weird baby as well, and I know I gave my Mom a few surprises after I was born....one of them being on how big I was...

my hair turned out to be a golden color...

I said I started to call myself the "Embodiment Of Weirdness"

well if ya knew how weird I was when I was a baby and did some freaky stuff not very long after I was born, you freak out as well...

like being told that while laying on my belly, I kept raising my arms up to my head and resting my head on them....and I know I wasn't a year old when that happen because what I had been told about it.

it's like a mix of cute and freaky, well it did freak my family out but they also thought it was really cute.

it be funny if that happen with Charlie from Hazbin Hotel, picture Lucifer freaking out and telling Lilith. XD

or if Adam the Leader of the Exterminators, had a baby and he witnesses the same thing and starts freaking out.

or if Ozzie and Fizz adopt a baby, and they see the same thing and start freaking out even more than Lucifer and Adam.

that would be funny and adorable.

and speaking of Fizz, I know he looked up to Mammon, but it's too bad he couldn't see through Mammon.

but at least the relationship between Ozzie and Fizz became open.

and they kissed on the lips, and it seems that everyone in that universe who ended up learning that Ozzie loved Fizz...

it got every hellborn present fangirling, I wouldn't be surprised if some of them yelled out "YES!!! MY OTP SHIP IS CANON!"

I mean come on, ya can't be surprised that those two would have real supporters both from our dimension and from that universe. XD

of course now I have the weird idea about wanting to ship Mammon with Molly, Angel's twin sister.

and believe me, I have some weird ideas on how that Mammolly would go.

and yeah the ship name just came to me just now.

and besides being weird, I know I'm still paranoid about the Asmodeus from our dimension....and I have good reason to be of him.

like worrying about if he would try to seduce me and make me fall for him, only for it to be a trick and trap because it is some sick and twisted revenge plan on King Solomon.

and yeah, in case no one read the parts that had me talking about it before and ask "what does that have to do with King Solomon...?"

the reason I believe that Asmodeus would want to do that, like use me as revenge on him.....it's because I'm one of King Solomon's descendants.

I guess I should try not to think about that too much and just me being paranoid.....but I still think that not being able to take that throne is more of a blessing and not really a curse at all.

I mean even if I'm somehow right about Asmodeus wanting revenge on King Solomon, he could pick anyone of his descendants, not just me.....though it is possible not all of his descendants would end up being Earth Angels, even a Defective Earth Angel.

and yeah as weird as it might be, I have a small crush on Ozzie and Fizz from Helluva Boss, but I still want them to be together.

I mean there are different levels of crushes, and not all of them would be close to the point of being really in love.

just like there is different levels of fans, there are the safe and dangerous ranks of them.

even those who are the mild-crazy fans are a bit more safer than the really REALLY bad types, like that guy we see in that new episode who couldn't take a "No" and was obviously a stalker from what Blitz had mentioned what he was doing at his and Fizz's dressing room.

well at least Blitz was there to protect Fizz.

I can't help but think I might be the same height as those two, or even a inch shorter than them.

I know I'm suppose to be 5'5" and once I thought I was 5'6" but apparently I wasn't...

plus whenever I see my shadow on the wall or door, I notice how dang short I am and even when I take my shoes off I seem even shorter, like stepping out of them makes me look like I lost some height just a bit.

if it turns out Blitz and Fizz are around 5'6" I might end up being surprised, cause it would mean I was right about them being around my height.....well more like them being a bit taller than me.

hey, I'm weird and that is one of the weird thoughts that pop into my head.

and Angel is like way taller than those two, he could probably pick me up like a doll. O_O

and I can't help but think that Arackniss might be even taller than me.

like for all I know, he could be a inch taller than me.

but anyway, I loved the episode that Mammon appeared on, and it had a very touching moment in it that showed such a sweet side of Fizz when he was using sign language to a little Impling boy who wanted to be just like him, and it was both sweet and a surprise that Fizz knew sign language, and he was able to understand what that boy was saying, but I think they gave Fizz some comfort because they were a fan that not only looked up to him but also treated him as a person.

Fizz would make a good parent someday, I mean even if it doesn't happen in the canon, it can in the fanon and yeah fans have made Fizz and Ozzie have children of their own in the Fanon Timelines.

and I'm guessing that Fizz was worried what everyone would say or think if they found out that he and Ozzie were dating and that they loved each other, I mean his face kind of gave that worry away after Ozzie admit that he was in love with him.

but instead of getting "boos" and "looks of disgust" they ended up with a lot of Hellborns being all happy and fangirling.

I really wouldn't be surprised now, that some of their fans had been shipping them and seeing that their ship is canon, might of ended up going into a fangirl coma.

like picture after Ozzie admitting he loves Fizz, and a fangirl gets so happy she faints into a fangirl coma and one of those goats with the candles on their heads while wearing a doctor coat, ends up having to revive her and yells out "CLEAR!" and then the shocks to the fangirl's body starts to happen and keeps happening until she comes out of the fangirl coma....even if that doesn't really happen for a coma, but maybe that can be for a fangirl coma in cartoons.

I wonder if Glitz and Glam will end up being Mammon's "Harley Quinn Twins" well I guess I'm curious about that.

Mammon did seem a bit s*xist in the start of the episode, wouldn't be surprised if he still is.

I mean I don't know if he would laugh at this joke

it was a few years ago when I came up with that joke.

I think Fizz had viewed Mammon as a type of Father Figure, but from what was going on in the episode, it doesn't seem so now.

Fizz having a panic attack, must of been scary for him and even having to pretend he was okay in front of Mammon.

at least Fizz didn't hit his head on a ceiling of a car during it...

cause once again I had a panic attack in 2015, of course I don't think I figured out it was a panic attack until much later.

and yeah even though I didn't have one while in the car this year, while being alone and waiting for family to come back, I still hated how long it seem they were taking and I got that weird feeling where my heart is.....I don't think it is anxiety, so my family could be wrong about that.

but at least I was able to fully control myself and try to keep calm, well as calm as I could be.

and there is reasons why I don't like being outside alone, even when just waiting in the car.

even if both Fizz and I have different reasons to get panic attacks, but it's good that Blitz and Ozzie were there for him when he needed it.

and well besides wanting to punch Mammon from Helluva Boss, below the belt, I also want to flip him the double bird.

even if my own Dad wasn't really around and I only met him once, Mammon would make him and even my Possible Soul-Dad better and not so bad at being a father figure.

like it can still be possible I was made up of fused soul fragments, and one of them being from my Earth Angel Mom....

I might be weird but I'm also a very weird experience. XD

anyway, I don't want to give everything away from that new episode.

but I can't help to want to view the Fanon-Mammon as "Mammon Jr." and being the Canon-Mammon's Son in the Fanon Timeline.

just picture Canon-Mammon yelling out "Oh, Junior!" when yelling for Fanon-Mammon who then yells "Shut up Dad! I'm texting Robo-Fizz!"

yeah, I'm weird for thinking about that, but I like that idea.

it's okay not everyone agrees about that weird idea that the two Mammons become like Father & Son.

at least in the episode Fizz and Ozzie had those cute moments and even kissed.

seriously you two, stop being so freaking adorable, your going to cause some fans to go into a fangirl coma. XD

even if some of those who go into a fangirl coma, turn out to be fanboys or fan-enboys or fan-enbirls.

I think I will talk about my thoughts about the episode that Canon-Mammon (nickname Mammon Sr.) first appeared in, more some other time.

I really need to hurry up and post this now, so I can get a Crossover ship drawing post next before Halloween is over with and it becomes tomorrow.

so yeah, if some ended up reading this, hope you like the whole idea bout Mammon Sr. and Mammon Jr., as well as talking about my thoughts about Ozzie admitting he loves Fizz, had ended up sending someone into a fangirl coma, don't know what type of hellborn they would be, so they could be a Imp or any other type of hellborn that ends up in that fangirl coma.

Fizz might of not been expecting so many to be so happy for him and Ozzie, but even if some aren't, the Fizz x Ozzie shippers could out number the ones that might not be happy about it.

so Striker, Stella, Andrea and a few others in that universe who aren't happy about those two being together, might end up being out numbered by the ones who supports their love.

anyway when I can, I will talk more about the episode where Mammon Sr. appeared in, but it might be a while.

cause I think I will wait a bit longer before I talk about certain spoilers from that episode.

also how the whole Fanon-Mammon could be that version's son in the Fanon Timelines (But NOT in the Canon-Timeline)

has to do with a fragmenting a part of Mammon Sr., ya know like his soul or whatever he has....

so kind of being what happen with Asmodeus Sr. from our dimension, which if info is true, it would be King Solomon that caused it, I will have to look it up again.

also I'm going to make this post into a Part 1, and when I can I will write Part 2 of this...
