you actually think people would just stop working if it wasn't for money? Like I need people to give me problems to solve or I feel my brain getting rusty and I feel myself forgetting things I used to know how to do. Like just for the brain sharpness thing i feel like I'd have some sort of computer science project on the go even if I had all the money in the world to quit work
#I wanted to actually make a radio player#Our station's player doesn't display songs that are currently playing. Doesn't have such capabilities#I'd like to have a player that can display the song name in a playback from the archives either drawing from logs submitted (timestamps)#or in a more advanced version something like Shazam's API ot recognise songs#which would be a second priority bc come on. Campus radio. I bet we play way more unreleased music than most stations#so logs >> shazam#anyway. I nearly finished my Javascript course and I'm gonna pick it up again!#chitter chatter#comp sci

not only langblr music resources
people irl often ask me where the heck i find the music i listen to, so i figured i might as well make a handy resource masterpost!
Radio Garden: Listen to radio stations all over the world. You can save your favourite stations, explore radio playlists, and search for stations in specific countries or cities. Love this one. You can download the app (android and apple) or listen via your preferred browser.
Radiooooo: Lets you choose a country, a decade, and a 'genre' (slow, fast, or weird) to listen to. You can download the app (android and apple) or listen via your preferred browser.
Charts: Charts can be tricky if you're looking for music in a specific language since there are multiple languages present in most country specific charts. It is nevertheless worth checking them out. Top 40 Charts or Popnable are your places to go. Popnable has some additional features like playlists that you can find in the "Discover" section.
beehype: Filter music by continent or country. Main page shows featured articles to browse.
Tunefind: Heard a song in a film or tv show that you enjoy but can't find it in the credits? This is the website for you! I use it when shazam fails me or when I'm at the cinema and can't use it or w/e. The songs sometimes come with a description of the corresponding scene for easy checking. Just very handy to have on hand.
Last.fm: Copy this link template: https://www.last.fm/tag/[nationality]/artists and replace [nationality] with a nationality you want to explore, e.g. "french", "chinese" etc.
Wikipedia: Type into the search bar "music of [country]", e.g. "music of slovakia", "music of botswana" etc.
Local events: Check for concerts etc. in your area. I know this is not an option for everyone for a bunch of reasons, but if it is for you, visiting local concerts can be a gold mine. I got like ten whole new songs in spanish and one in rapanui from one event I went to (it was like a culture fest with singing, dancing, and poetry). Also listening to live music just connects you differently to the art imo.
Friends & Acquaintances: Last but not least; sometimes my nosiness beats my social anxiety and I simply ask people what they like to listen to. If I'm being extra confident, I ask if they listen to music in languages other than english. Go forth and ask people about their music, go go go!!
Spotify specific recs:
Every Noise At Once: Sounds overwhelming - and tbh it can be. For this reason I personally prefer to look at 'Genres by Country', although there are many other interesting playlists to look at, such as 'We Built This City On' or 'The Sounds of Places'. You can find more if you scroll all the way to the bottom. Unfortunately, due to the layoff of the creator of this site, some features are not available anymore. This website is entirely based on Spotify.
Discover Quickly: This one might become a game changer for me personally. How it works: Log in with your spotify account. Choose one of your playlists, saved albums, followed artists etc. All relevant songs will show up as tiny thumbnails. You will hear a sample when hovering over them. Klicking on one of the thumbnails will lead you to the artist's overall releases as well as related artists. You can add your finds directly to a playlist!
LindsayDoesLanguages: Individual language playlists + more
Shameless self promo - my own account with individual language playlists. Also on YouTube !
700+ Languages: A playlist by Matthew Bofenkamp that contains one (1) song per language, and as it says on the tin, Matthew has so far collected songs in over 700 languages. Might be a good starting point for more music in your language of interest! Accompanying g0ogle spreadsheet with youtube links here.
One Song in Every Language: A community playlist by looky_dooky that aims to collect one song in every language. Everyone with a spotify account can contribute.
Another research tip: If you're on desktop, a good way to find language specific playlists is to go to any artist's profile and scroll down to the "Discovered on" section, then click "show all". Voilà!
(These showed up when I visited Haleluya Tekletsadik's page)
#. these are all i can think of rn#. might update accordingly#. also i simply assumed everyone knows what shazam is so i left it out#. anyway ! yeet.#langblr#resources#language resources#music resources#music#l#r.txt

Christmas With the Super-Heroes (Limited Collectors' Edition #34)
I decided to read all of this, not just the Santa story. It contains:
A reprint of Silent Night, Deadly Night (already covered, though in the fun of rereading it, this was definitely recoloured - the most obvious point is Betsy's dress changes from red in Batman #239 to green in Limited Collectors' Edition #34)
Billy Batson's Christmas (two fake Santas) - this is some classic old Shazam nonsense where Billy is troubleshooting things and a model train starts a fire!
Angel and the Ape: The $500,000 Doll Caper - our Santa story. Another story about repairing old broken toys for kids for Christmas. Apparently this was a major thing?
The toys are delivered to...Santa's Workshop. Santa reusing and recycling for Christmas, hey?
Anyway the actual plot is about a man who smuggled in a diamond sewn inside a doll. Only the doll gets lost in a car accident, Angel picks it up, and "Mr Stooge" (the guy who arranged for the diamond to be smuggled) orders his thugs to find every doll in the city to locate the diamond. This goes poorly.
Here are some *sigh* police detectives acting as bait to try and catch the gang.
We also have a 'evil making' gas that gets reversed and Mr Stooge gives Santa 2 million dollars to buy toys for the children.
A Swinging Christmas Carol - this is a reprint of Teen Titans #13 (1966)
This, of course, a retelling of A Christmas Carol, extremely subtly foregrounded by Bob Haney (oh Bob).

Bob Ratchet needs his job with Ebenezer Scrounge to get an automatic wheelchair for Tiny Tom. Yes, really. (Oh Bob). Then Jacob Farley appears. Farley has escaped from jail and used to work with Scrounge.
The Titans eventually realise everyone in this story maps to A Christmas Carol, just in case you, the reader, happen to be unfamiliar with the story, and explain this (Oh Bob).
Wally pretends to be the Ghost of Christmas Past at Scrounge, Garth the Ghost of Christmas Present and Donna is the Ghost of Christmas Future (in a red and white Santa outfit, it must be said).

But oh no! Donna gets shot!
After a fight scene, Scrounge repents his ways and decides to turn over a new leaf, including buying a fancy new wheelchair for Tiny Tom (Oh Bob).
Christmastown, U.S.A. (Part of Action Comics #117)
There's a flood in Christmastown, and the Osborne family, who always supply Santa, have a missing grandson Danny! So Lois and Clark are sent to report on the flood, and Clark as Superman builds a 'Christmas Ark' to float down the flooded river and distribute 'cheer and presents' to all the flooded communities (Superman makes the presents at superspeed out of wood, of course), and Lois stumbles across our missing grandson, who has amnesia after being hit by a floating log. Danny remembers who he is on seeing the ark and his grandfather playing Santa.
Also Superman makes it snow over Christmastown for a White Christmas, which as you know is exactly what a flooded-in community needs.

Shifting log #5

I think we're still overcomplicating shifting so now ill be here to help you not to overcomplicate it.
You know why others can shift so easily by just thinking about which reality to go to and then just go shazam and they're in that desired reality? Because they would assume that's what would happen and obviously, they persisted in the fact that all they had to do is think about which DR they'll be conciously aware of, that was how I almost shifted too, like literally just go bam and suddenly I feel like I'm being pulled to somewhere and hearing voices (i did this while drowsy as fuck, it works the best imo). The only thing that has gotten me consistently close to shifting is literally go "I wanna shift to my ___ DR" and be drowsy AF. Cause y'all, there are stories of ppl who literally shifted just by.... just doing it. Literally they just did it. Trust your subconscious mind cause she/he/it/they/whatever its' pronouns is knows what it wants!!!Shifting isn't as tricky as we think, but the human brain complicates it, leading us to assume it's far more difficult. That is how it becomes. Simply let go, stop worrying, chasing, and overthinking. Allow for it to happen, and it will. It is completely fine to have doubts, I already told you, just don't let it get the best of you and JUST DO IT, YOU CAN SHIFT, YOU LITERALLY SHIFT EVERYDAY, YOU CAN DO IT!!!

do you just make a new side blog for this or do you do the whole shazam and make a new email so you can do all the fancy shit
This is just a sideblog, I'm too lazy to make a new email. I did that 10+ years ago when I was too invested in Hetalia RP on Facebook and the horrific ordeal of logging in and out all the time was too much of a burden on my delicate constitution.

Gifts: What’s the best present you’ve ever received?
i think i've answered this before from a different ask but *waves hand* who cares. i think there have been several and they have changed over time based on when i received them. for instance, in 2018, when my friend gave me keith's jacket from vld, it was then the best gift i had ever received because it was something i loved and my friend knew that and put effort into getting it for me, rather than the usual things the person giving the gift likes but maybe not the giftee, or things i think you would like and i would have been right if i was giving this three years ago but to give it now indicates a complete lack of awareness about who you are today (aka, the things my family usually gets me). it's not the best NOW. i don't even own it still. but then, it mattered a lot. some of the best gifts i've been given include a handmade star trek themed journal ("personal log") from my sister when i was a kid; the shazam fanart @comfymoth drew for my birthday this year that was so thoughtful and sweet; a hand-bound journal my friend made me with all their favorite lines from my fic written into the covers; my friend throwing money at me so i could get the oh hellos soldier/poet/king pins; the one time my friend showed up with a giant bottle of painkillers and a new fuzzy blanket for my birthday; the weighted blanket i got for christmas in 2020 (getting so much mileage out of that bad boy); and the time my irl remembered an incredibly specific time i said i wanted to drink (eat?) a champagne glass of mini m&ms and showed up months and months later on new year's with a massive jar of mini m&ms and two champagne glasses for us to use. also loveee when people get me calendars. i never remember to get them myself.
The Sunken Lands: Worst place you’ve ever been to?
answered here!
The Word: What is something that you thought was true but turned out to be false?
literally like half the entries on wikipedia's list of common misconceptions. the one about the origin of potato chips fucked me up did you know my HISTORY BOOK lied to me about that???? unbelievable.
beyonders asks!!

Mastering Music Distribution: A Guide to Uploading Songs on Digital Stores
The music industry has evolved dramatically over the past decade, with digital platforms becoming the cornerstone of how artists reach their audiences. If you're an artist looking to gain global recognition, uploading your song on all digital stores to get exposure is no longer optional—it's essential. From Spotify to Apple Music, these platforms provide an unprecedented opportunity to showcase your talent to millions. However, understanding the process and executing it effectively is key to standing out. This guide will walk you through the steps, tools, and strategies to master music distribution and make your mark in the digital music world.
Understanding the Role of Digital Music Stores
Before diving into the "how," it's important to understand the "why." Digital stores like Spotify, Amazon Music, and Deezer have millions of users searching for new music daily. These platforms offer:
Global Reach: Your music becomes accessible to listeners worldwide, breaking geographical boundaries.
Algorithmic Discoverability: Playlists, recommendations, and search results help your music reach new audiences.
Analytics and Insights: Detailed statistics on listener demographics and engagement can shape your marketing strategy.
By uploading your music to all digital stores, you tap into a goldmine of opportunities to build your career.
Step-by-Step Guide to Uploading Your Song
1. Choose the Right Music Distributor Digital platforms typically don’t allow artists to upload their music directly. Instead, you need a music distributor to bridge the gap. Popular distributors like Delivermytune, TuneCore, and CD Baby simplify the process by distributing your songs to multiple platforms simultaneously.
When selecting a distributor, consider:
Pricing: Some distributors charge flat fees, while others take a percentage of your earnings.
Platform Reach: Ensure the distributor covers all major stores and streaming platforms.
Extra Features: Some distributors offer additional perks like licensing services or playlist pitching.
2. Prepare Your Audio Files The quality of your music is critical. Ensure your tracks meet the technical requirements of digital platforms:
File Format: Most platforms require high-quality WAV files.
Bitrate: Maintain a minimum of 16-bit, 44.1 kHz for professional sound quality.
Volume Normalization: Keep your track’s loudness within the acceptable range for streaming platforms.
A polished, professional sound will leave a lasting impression on your audience.
3. Create Compelling Metadata Metadata is the information associated with your song, such as the title, artist name, and genre. Accurate and engaging metadata ensures your song appears in relevant searches. Focus on:
Song Title: Use proper capitalization and avoid unnecessary special characters.
Artist Name: Consistency is key across all releases.
Genre and Subgenre: Select categories that best describe your music.
ISRC Code: This unique identifier ensures your royalties are tracked accurately.
4. Design Eye-Catching Cover Art Your cover art is the first thing listeners see, so make it count. Many listeners judge a song’s professionalism based on its visuals. Ensure your artwork meets these standards:
Resolution: At least 3000x3000 pixels in a square format.
Content: Avoid blurry images, explicit content, or text-heavy designs.
Branding: Align your artwork with your personal or band identity for a cohesive image.
5. Upload and Submit Your Music Once your files and metadata are ready, log in to your chosen distributor’s platform and upload your song. Most distributors will guide you through:
Selecting release dates.
Adding collaborators and splitting royalties.
Opting into additional features, like Shazam recognition or YouTube monetization.
Submit your song well ahead of your intended release date—most platforms recommend a lead time of 3–4 weeks.
Promoting Your Song Post-Upload
1. Build Anticipation Before Release Generate buzz by announcing your release on social media, sharing teaser clips, or running countdowns. Encourage pre-saves on platforms like Spotify, as they can boost your visibility upon release.
2. Optimize Your Artist Profiles Claim and customize your profiles on platforms like Spotify for Artists and Apple Music for Artists. This allows you to:
Add a bio, photos, and links to social media.
Pitch songs for playlist consideration.
Access analytics to track performance.
3. Pitch to Playlists Playlists can significantly increase your exposure. Submit your song to curators, whether official (e.g., Spotify editorial playlists) or third-party (user-generated playlists with a large following). Tailor your pitch to highlight what makes your track unique.
4. Leverage Social Media Use platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter to share behind-the-scenes content, engage with fans, and create challenges or trends tied to your music.
5. Collaborate with Influencers and Bloggers Reach out to influencers, bloggers, or music reviewers in your genre to promote your song. Even a small mention can bring new listeners to your profile.
Common Mistakes to Avoid When Uploading Music
1. Skipping Metadata Details Incomplete or incorrect metadata can prevent your song from being discoverable. Double-check every field before submitting.
2. Rushing the Process Submitting your song too close to the release date may result in missed opportunities, such as playlist consideration or pre-save campaigns.
3. Ignoring Marketing Efforts Uploading your song is only half the battle—effective promotion is critical for success. Don’t underestimate the power of a solid marketing strategy.
4. Overlooking Licensing and Royalties Ensure your music is properly licensed and that you understand how royalties work. This protects your rights and maximizes your earnings.
The Benefits of Being Present on All Digital Stores
Uploading your song on all digital stores ensures you’re not missing out on potential listeners. Each platform attracts a unique audience:
Spotify: Ideal for reaching playlist listeners and algorithm-driven audiences.
Apple Music: Known for its high-quality audio and global reach.
Amazon Music: A growing platform with significant reach among Prime subscribers.
YouTube Music: Combines video and audio, offering a versatile way to engage fans.
Being present on all platforms increases the likelihood of discovery and helps diversify your income streams.
Conclusion
In today’s music landscape, uploading your song on all digital stores to get exposure is a must for any artist striving for success. The process may seem daunting at first, but with the right tools and strategies, it becomes manageable—and incredibly rewarding. By choosing the right distributor, preparing your files and metadata meticulously, and leveraging post-release marketing, you can position your music for maximum visibility. Don’t wait for the perfect moment; start now and ensure your art reaches the global audience it deserves.

Hi again! It's me, Laris. It's been a while since I haven't been on Tumblr; might consider revisiting Tumblr someday. Anyway, since Cohost is on its way out the door, I'll be archiving the few posts I made there. Here be dragons! Cohost doesn't seem to include date metadata, so I'll just be adding the important bits here. Most blurbs will not be archive.
Very Supremely Important Announcement That Is Of Sheer Unrivalled Importance That Is Not To Be Ignored
Just a quick update, I'm listening to house music right now house music are so great they can be all kinds of subgenres like tech house funky house disco house even acid house there might be more subgenres no one knows They're so great they are fantastic and danceable and DEFECETED RECORD why dont people like house music if I were a youtuber I would log on and do a shoutout to house music (french house) because they sound really nice the french one is really good because it has a funky something to it which i like it sounds like you're listening to a party behind a wall the acid or tech ones not so good but I love more people should find out about house music they come in different sounds and lengthe you can listen to the radio edits (BORING) or listen to the super long extended mixes (shoutout Pete Heller's Big Love) but it depends on the length of the song (see previous statements) i had house music but they were too generic probably they were EDM singles from famous pop artists like Coldplay or something not shoutout to generic pop house should out to house music mmm i love house mudic paypal me euro to buy Pete Heller's Big Love vinyl for my sad frail family with no nutrience put Pete Heller's Big Love in the record player for a fresh tip and a fresh sound i love [house music House Song of the Day - Circulation - White (Mix B) (2000)
One of my newest additions to my playlist, White (Mix B) is perhaps one of those gleaming gems you don't notice until you peek further within! As a huge French/funky/filter/whadevayawannacalllit house nerd with a crippling Pete Heller's Big Loveaddiction, this track is, honestly pretty darn great. I especially do quite like the guitar loop that's just supremely catchy - oh, and also, the breakdowns are supremely great!
I give White (Mix B) a rating of...7/10!
House song of the day - Peggy Gou - It Goes Like Nanana
as you all may (or may not) know, I am a huuuuuuuuuuuge sucker for house music from the 90s! this one isn't from the 90s (actually super recent, it came out 4 months ago as of this writing) but holy fuck it sounds-and feels-like a track straight out from the 90s. i love this! it's a little mainstream (I heard it's popular on TikTok, which I don't use) but honestly, it deserves to be. it's great.
i discovered this song while out and about on a trip. this song was too good I had to shazam it immediately LMAO. great job peggy, maybe you can go make more stuff like this (this is because i am a little too obsessed with golden-era house, like, erm, pete heller's big love)
I give It Goes Like (Nanana) a rating of...9/10! It's pretty darn great. —--
Shout-Out to...
1. Shout-out to...Rabbert Animations
Rabbert Animations is a YouTube channel and Instagram page run by an animator named...you'll never guess: Robert! Rabbert Animations features the adventures and misadventures of the titular character Rabbert and his spider friend Nestor. I especially love this one because it takes a special skill to combine animation and real life so seamlessly.
2. Shout-out to...The Duplex A86
I'm a sucker for road infrastructure! I mean...there's something cool about roads, not gonna lie. Nothing is more cool than the Duplex A86, a two-deck tunnel all packed neatly into one tube. It's also one of the longest tunnels in France, as the tunnel is 10 kilometers long. Since the tunnel consists of one tube split in half, as a result the decks have extremely low vertical clearances (just 2 meters up!) The vertical clearance in this tunnel is so low, in fact that they had to engineer brand new road signs that could be readable but take up the least amount of vertical space.
If you're interested in the Duplex A86 infrastructure, this PDF contains a lot of technical information that's worth reading!
3. Shout-out to...@al_pansi
Never underestimate phone artists. Especially someone like al pansi, a Twitter digital artist who is known for drawing on an extremely broken phone. Just how broken? I'm talking dead pixels covering at least 20% of the display, cracks all over, and screen discolorations.
Apparently, according to al, their phone turned out this way when al's mom got angry at them for missing the bus and proceeded to throw their phone really hard. Dang.
Also, apparently al does commissions. Absolute insanity. So, if you want to get al out of their phone-induced misery, maybe you can go commission them!
4. Shout-out to...etymologynerd
if you haven't heard of etymologynerd, please PLEASE please give this guy a watch! he makes reels on Instagram detailing his often random and downright bizarre analyses of language and etymology. He has done many bizarre things, including, but not limited to transcribing Minecraft mobs, analyzing keysmashes, and my personal favorite, translating the entire Navy Seals copypasta into his bird whistle language, topped off with him staring intenty at the camera and how it gets even more chaotic from then on
5. And last, shout-out to...popbob, prolific griefer in the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft
[FitMC voice] In the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft, there exists no rules. No guidelines. Just pure, unadulterated chaos. One of these people contributing to the immense chaos is Minecraft griefer popbob. Known for backdooring 2B2T twice, using thunder exploits to locate and desecrate bases, popbob is perhaps one of the most prolific griefers, and perhaps one of the most prolific Minecraft players overall.
Oh, and by the way, did you know popbob was trans? Amidst the pandemic in June of 2020, popbob changed her Minecraft skin to one that prominently features the transgender flag, as well as changing her preferred pronouns to she/her. Now that's what I call awesome. We stan a prolific transgender Minecraft griefer.

DaVinci Re-suffering: Dumb Simpleton Attempts To Comprehend Professional Video Editing Software (Updated Daily)
Day 1
Just installed Davinci Resolve. I've had enough of Alight Motion not having a Mac port and Capcut being unintuitive (and having goofy effects), so I'm stepping up my game. I'm downloading Davinci to free myself from this video editing purgatory.
[Installs DaVinci directly from Blackmagic's website]
Oh. Lovely. It installed a bunch of stupid other crapware I don't need. Fantastic!
[opens up Davinci and attempts to edit]
Oh my. That's a shitload of buttons. I NEED TO USE NODES!? OH GOD... wait...I NEED TO LEARN NODES TO MAKE LONG SHADOWS!? AND 3D EFFECTS!? Hey, at least that's something Capcut doesn't have...
I CAN'T PINCH-TO-ZOOM!?
Day 2
I did nada ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Day 3...I think
Watched a shit-ton of YouTube tutorials on doing 3D text in DaVinki Resolve. And you know what? I'm starting to understand the Node editor. It's confusing, yes, but, quoting DB Boulevard: It's easy from another point of view!
I've also exported my first thing - a test 3D render. It's very rough and totally not passable by LarisB™ standards - but everyone starts somewhere, I guess :)
That's all of my fairly important posts from my Cohost account that will be forever gone in a few months! I don't like lost media and i'm pretty sure my posts are rather worthless but RIP eggbug. You will fly high.

Every Movie Watched in 2023: Ranked.
Unlike my previous ranked lists of TV, music, and games, I'm gonna try and wrap this up in one sentence thoughts of all the 117 films I watched this year.
117. Norbit. 0.5/5.
Eddie Murphy plays a nerd, an obese woman, and an Asian character, it's painfully unfunny.
116. Due Date. 1/5.
Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis are terrible people with terrible chemistry in this unfunny 2010 comedy.
115. Winnie The Pooh: Blood and Honey. 1/5.
Besides some decent gore, there's nothing this movie has going on.
114. Clash Of The Titans. 1/5.
Another despairing entry from 2010 enters the fray as Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes fail as portrayals of Zeus and Hades on every level.
113. The Third Saturday in October Part 5. 1/5.
Arguably in the so bad its good territory, but it annoyed me still.
112. Old Dads- 1.5/5.
Old man Bill Burr yells at cloud.
111. Hidden Strike. 1.5/5.
The novelty of Jackie Chan and John Cena on screen together is nowhere near good enough to carry the film.
110. Fast and The Furious- 1.5/5.
The first movie is shockingly more dull than I remembered as a youth.
109. Dark Shadows. 2/5.
The least engaging vampire film I've seen in a long time.
108. Justice League: Warworld. 2/5.
Imagine taking the anthology approach with variants of Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman and your movie still sucks.
107. The People We Hate At The Wedding- 2/5.
Ben Platt, you will pay for your crimes.
106. Shotgun Wedding-.2/5.
Another disappointing wedding movie but this one had Jennifer Coolidge so it's slightly better.
105. Vacation Friends 2. 2/5.
Between this and Hidden Strike, this might not have been John Cena's best year, I'm afraid.
104. Shazam: Fury of The Gods. 2/5.
Maybe it's a good thing the DCEU is dead.
103. The Killer. 2/5.
Not bad on a technical level, but not what I was expecting.
102. Five Nights At Freddy's. 2/5.
Either be menacing or be goofy, pick a lane, FNAF!
101. Top Gun. 2/5.
Besides homoerotic undertones, I can barely recall the film.
100. In The Shadow of the Moon. 2.5/5.
A Philadelphia police offers spends their whole life trying to track down this killer and I promise you I cannot remember the plot twist.
99. Police Academy. 2.5/5.
The guy that makes sound effects with his mouth is a beast, I cannot front.
98. White Men Can't Jump (2023). 2.5/5.
Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls will never be Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes.
97. Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham. 2.5/5.
Batman in the 1920s is fine...I guess?
96. Adult Swim's Yule Log. 2.5/5
Serial killers and aliens and possessed fire logs...there's too much going on.
95. Fractured. 2.5/5
Shutter Island but worse.
94. A Man Called Otto. 2.5/5
Not enough redemption for me to not still think of Otto as an asshole.
93. The Little Mermaid (2023). 2.5/5.
I like Hailie Bailey but the rest of this cast...mm.
92. Final Destination 3. 2.5/5.
Easily my least favorite of the Final Destination franchise.
91. Champions. 2.5/5.
Woody Harrelson coaching a special needs Basketball team has its moments.
90. Extraction 2. 2.5/5.
Didn't see the first one, but the fight scenes here were enough to carry the film at least this high.
89. The Flash. 2.5/5.
Warner Bros banked everything on a movie that harbors a scene that basically parades around long-dead actors in disgusting CGI.
88. Zom 100: Bucket List Of The Dead. 2.5/5.
Not sure how this holds to the anime or manga, but on its own it's fine I suppose.
87. Mars Attacks. 2.5/5.
A deeply bizarre film but some fun moments here and there.
86. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. 2.5/5.
Weakest Conjuring movie so far and it's not really close.
85. Barnyard. 2.5/5.
I liked this movie a lot more as a kid, but I respect it still as an oddity.
84. The Grinch (2018). 2.5/5.
One of the Christmas movies of all time.
83. Infinity Pool 2.5/5.
Deeply disturbing Nipple scene, I cannot.
82. Theater Camp. 3/5
Great cast, but need better material.
81. Renfield. 3/5.
No one matches the greatness of Nicolas Cage as Dracula.
80. Trilogy of Terror. 3/5.
The last story, "Amelia" is the most terror-fueled of the three stories.
79. Final Destination 4. 3/5.
One, it should've been called FD4 instead of "The Final Destination" because that's too confusing, and two, it has the weakest opening death scene of the bunch.
78. Private Parts. 3/5.
Howard Stern's rise to the top is mildly entertaining.
77. Blue Beetle. 3/5.
I like it when George Lopez gets work.
76. Kick-Ass 3/5.
No pun intended, but the fight scenes are pretty kick-ass.
75. Tetris. 3/5.
The second the guy stepped foot in Russia I sorta clocked out mentally.
74. No Hard Feelings. 3/5.
Jennifer Lawrence beating up teens while naked makes her an icon.
73. Totally Killer. 3/5.
A slasher mixed with time travel elements contributes to a fun film.
72. The Woman King. 3/5.
Powerful cast, but the subject matter didn't move me as much as I wanted it to.
71. Strange World. 3/5.
Nowhere near Disney's best, but it's got its moments.
70. Prometheus. 3/5.
I like how it's a prequel to the Alien movies.
69. Mission Impossible. 3/5.
The very first one feels tame, but I'm hoping the rest get more over the top as I try and go through them.
68. Dungeons & Dragons. 3/5.
I'm not into D&D, the game, but the movie was decent.
67. Insidious. 3/5.
Patrick Wilson was better in this than in Conjuring three. Wild.
66. The Last Voyage of the Demeter. 3/5.
It has its moments, but a vampire picking off shipmates drags too much, surprisingly.
65. The Boys of St. Vincent. 3/5.
This movie is why I don't fuck with the Catholic Church and why I make fun of them.
64. Rashomon. 3/5.
Classic movie involving an unreliable narrator trope, but I have a hard time feeling movies that came out before 1970.
63. Seven Kings Must Die. 3/5.
The movie sendoff for the show, The Last Kingdom, is better than the show's last three seasons.
62. Drunken Master. 3/5.
It has some nice fight choreography, but Jackie Chan has a better kung fu flick.
61. Stephen King's Cat's Eye. 3.5/5.
A better version of the Trilogy of Terror with better stories.
60. Silver Linings Playbook. 3.5/5.
Romcom with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradly Cooper is more devastating than funny.
59. You People. 3.5/5.
Eddie Murphy and Jonah Hill are a fine duo for most of the film.
58. Cocaine Bear. 3.5/5.
Fun, but I was hoping for it to be more chaotic than it was.
57. Antman & The Wasp: Quantumania. 3.5/5.
Yes, its flawed in many ways, but I don't care cause I like how ugly MODOK looks and Paul Rudd.
56. Terrifier. 3.5/5.
Murderous clown rampage made some good content for a little bit.
55. The Blackening. 3.5/5.
A really funny take on the horror genre and black people in horror films.
54. Loaded Weapon 1. 3.5/5.
A parody film reminiscent of The Naked Gun or Scary movie franchise in some ways and I love that.
53. Lethal Weapon 1. 3.5/5.
Loaded Weapon 1 working off of a classic like this makes sense to me.
52. Don't Breathe 2. 3.5/5.
As someone who didn't see the first one, but ended up seeing this, I think there's some enjoyment in seeing a blind old man harm bad guys.
51. A Disturbance In The Force. 3.5/5.
A documentary about the horrid Star Wars Christmas special is honestly enlightening.
50. Nimona. 3.5/5.
Adequate animation coupled with likable leads give a good time for animation fans.
49. Rise of The Planet of The Apes. 3.5/5.
Caesar yelling "NO" gave me chills, bruh.
48. Stephen King's IT (1990). 3.5/5.
Tim Curry's Pennywise will forever be iconic.
47. Asteroid City. 3.5/5.
For a first ever viewing of a Wes Anderson film, it was a bit confusing at times, but fascinating nonetheless.
46. M3GAN. 3.5/5.
M3GAN was serving the entire time.
45. Kung Fu Panda 3. 3.5/5.
The weakest of the KFP movies, but still has a good main villain.
44. Fearless Hyena. 3.5/5.
This is the other better Jackie Chan movie I was talking about.
43. Elemental. 3.5/5.
The best love story ever told...not really, but it's cute.
42. Tangled. 3.5/5.
Also cute, but I can't look past the age gap.
41. X. 3.5/5.
Mia Goth was serving as well in this horror prequel to Pearl.
40. A.I. 3.5/5.
Very ambitious Spielberg project with tinge of creepiness that I'm unsure if it was intentional or not.
39. Violet Evergarden: The Movie. 3.5/5.
Gorgeous animation, likeable characters, HUGE problem with that age gap.
38. We The Animals. 3.5/5.
Based on a true story, I feel for the plight of these young boys.
37. Jackass Forever. 3.5/5.
Idiots doing dangerous stunts even in their older age remains idiotic fun.
36. Interview With A Vampire. 3.5/5.
Leagues above Dark Shadows as a vampire movie.
35. The Super Mario Bros Movie. 3.5/5.
Lovely animation and a fun take on the Mario franchise in spite of underwhelming voice performances from some, but not all.
34. Final Destination. 3.5/5.
The first one set a pretty high bar to top in its franchise.
33. Suzume. 3.5/5.
It's a good time, but there are opportunities not taken here that infuriate me.
32. Final Destination 2. 3.5/5.
The first scene on the highway is the best scene of anything the franchise provided.
31. The Princess Bride. 3.5/5.
Oh my god, I miss Andre The Giant.
30. Scream 6. 3.5/5.
There is a reason this franchise is arguably the king of the slashers.
29. Juice. 3.5/5.
Oh my GOD I miss Tupac TOO.
28. Knock at The Cabin. 3.5/5.
The classic Shyamalan twist is predictable, but it's still a pretty entertaining movie.
27. SISU. 3.5/5.
Soldier is intent on not letting Nazis take his gold and goddammit I GOTTA respect it.
26. Missing. 3/5.
Maybe the most fun of those kinds of thriller screenlife-type movies.
25. Atlantis: The Lost Empire. 3.5/5.
An underrated Disney classic I wish I saw sooner.
24. The Princess and The Frog. 3.5/5.
Dr. Facilier is one of Disney's coolest villains and his song is one of my favorites ever.
23. Beau is Afraid. 3.5/5.
Did NOT need to be 3 hours, but it definitely wasn't boring.
22. Alienoid. 4/5.
Time Travelling shenanigans lead to unbelievable fun adventure.
21. Venture Bros: Radiant Is the blood of the Baboon heart. 4/5
A beautiful, possible, send off to an underrated Adult Swim TV show.
20. Call. 4/5.
More time travelling shenanigans involved that I like for the most part until the dark ending.
19. One Piece Film: Red. 4/5.
I love One Piece to bits and this film satisfied me immensely as a One Piece fan.
18. Air. 4/5.
Better version of the Tetris movie.
17. Dredd. 4/5.
I respect that Karl Urban never once took off the helmet.
16. Evil Dead Rise. 4/5.
Bloodiest, goriest spectacle that's a triumph.
15. Edge of Tomorrow. 4/5.
In spite of Tom Cruise's flaws, damn if he isn't a movie star.
14. Fargo. 4/5.
Watching all the seasons of the show before seeing the film is really eye-opening to see where the seasons got their influence from.
13. High Fidelity. 4/5.
I could listen to the guys in the film talk about music all day.
12. Fahrenheit 11/9. 4/5.
I got so mad watching this documentary.
11. Speed. 4/5.
Everything on the bus to "Pop Quiz Hot shot" is pure cinema.
10. Oppenheimer. 4/5.
Human meditation on one of the most devastating acts pulled off in human history makes for troubling watch.
9. They Cloned Tyrone. 4/5.
Tyrone gets cloned and its sublime.
8. Another Round. 4/5.
A simplistic premise of seeing how far the human body can indulge while still working is so damn good.
7. Barbie. 4/5.
Not only is its message thought-provoking but it's funny as hell.
6. The Menu. 4/5.
Between this and The Bear, this was a good year for me and cooking-related media I watched.
5. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. 4/5.
Stunning animation, and two excellent antagonists help lend to a stellar animated film.
4. Prisoners. 4/5.
Hugh Jackman losing his shit makes for compelling watch.
3. John Wick 4. 4.5/5.
Action so good I could watch this forever.
2. Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. 4.5/5.
If it was like ten minutes longer, it would be at my number one.
Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 3. 4.5/5. I almost cried over a CGI raccoon, you bet your ass its my movie of the year.

Booted up my old phone and scrolled through eight years of Shazam records to find out exactly where I'd heard it before and I still have no idea, it was playing at precisely 22:08 on July 22nd 2016 somewhere but I have nothing logged in setlist.fm that date and no pictures from unsigned indie gigs or anything, no Facebook posts about where I might've been, absolutely no clues
I was right in remembering that it actually got my attention twice though, I heard the chorus and thought "that's damn good, what is that?" and then it got a bit drowned out through the third verse so when I caught another bit of the sound I was like "hey that's cool too, nice bit of playlist" only to find it was still the same song
Pretty sure I've heard this through a PA while waiting at a gig before and it got my attention then, finally listening to the record and it is not disappointing, only two tracks in but I am really liking this mildly punked-up disaffected lesbian Lou Reed
Definitely hearing where Lambrini Girls get some of their sound too, and reminds me yeah I should get back to listening to Pavement

NCTzen! The second part of the RESONANCE era is right around the corner, and considering the achievements of the first part, we hope your spirits have been lifted. Here are some goals which we can work towards in order to make this part equally―if not more―successful than the first! At the same time, we’d like to emphasize that this shouldn’t pressure you but merely add to the excitement, so make sure to prioritize your wellbeing at all times and get in on the fun when you have the time.
👉 Youtube | Goal: 10M views, 1M likes, 250k comments
Please know that YouTube has become a lot stricter in recent years and invalidates a lot more views than they did before. Hence keep in mind the following when streaming the upcoming NCT 2020 music videos:
Do NOT use any unapproved tricks or extensions (Adblock, Auto Refresh, etc)!
Manually stream music videos. This means watching about 5 to 8 times until the end of a video, closing the video and watching other videos in between (i.e. NCT U ‘Make A Wish (Birthday Song)’ MV) before repeating this process again.
Use a playlist only when you can’t manually stream. The playlist must consist of at least two other videos in order to not look like spam!
Don’t watch in incognito mode or log out of your account.
You must watch the music video from SMTOWN’s or NCT’s official YouTube channel!
Like, comment and share the video!
👉 Spotify | Goal: 350k plays, Top 200 in more than 10 countries
Spotify streams are fairly straightforward. Just keep in mind that paid subscriptions count for more units per listen, and that illegal streams on any platform are obviously not counted. Other than that, replay as often as you want!
👉 iTunes | Goal: No.1 in more than 30 countries, No.1 Worldwide Album, Top 20 Worldwide Song
Purchase all tracks individually. Every 10 songs are equivalent to 1 album sale!
Only purchase the title track individually if you can’t afford purchasing the whole album separately.
After buying the song, delete it from your library and don’t download it again. Streaming has to be done manually for it to count!
👉 Shazam | Goal: 5K shazams
Download the app: [ App Store | Play Store ]
Open the Shazam app and play ‘90′s Love’ on another device.
Tap to ‘Shazam’ the song and wait for it to recognize it.
Repeat this a few times a day and delete your history every now and again!
👉 Trends | Goal: No.1 trending on Youtube, Twitter and Weibo, No.1 Real-time Search on Naver
Most of these are pretty straightforward, but we’ll elaborate on Naver specifically as it’s not as commonly used amongst international fans!
Go to the website: https://www.naver.com/
Enter NCT, NCT 2020, or the title track in question into the search bar.
Click on a related article or blog entry and stay on the page for at least 10 seconds.
Repeat this however many times with a variety of related keywords and articles.
Want to know more? Go to our support guide where we explain in detail how music shows work and in what other ways you can support NCT. If you have any concerns, feedback or questions, feel free to send us an ask and we’d love to help. Happy streaming!

How to stream on YouTube?
Hello, everyone! We have gotten some new followers and decided to post and reblog a few reminders about how to stream correctly. You can find all the info in our Carrd as well.
How to stream on YouTube?
Do not stream on loop - you need to look like a human, otherwise your streams might not count. If you wanna watch the same video once more, close the tab and open the video in a new one. Never use the replay option, because your stream wouldn’t count.
Make sure you’re logged onto your account, so YouTube can verify your streams. If you wanna stream on multiple accounts, limit it to maximum of two devices connected to the same IP address.
Watch the video without skipping. You can skip ads and pause whenever you need, but don’t skip the lyrics video. (Artist makes more money off ads that you don’t skip, that’s why some YouTubers ask you not to skip them.)
Make sure your sound is on. If you don’t wanna listen at the moment, just put on your headphones and let the videos play.
Watch other videos between Louis‘ – you can manually click on other videos, let it autoplay or even use premade playlists on YouTube that automatically play other artists in between. You can also check out this playlist featuring Louis’ songs, interviews and track by track short videos!
Happy streaming, Louies. Make sure to participate in our Bingo Card Challenge, Shazam Challenge and the event taking place at the end of the Pride month - Pride Nights!

@leesbian42 @teehhhhhhhhhhh @fandomfive39 and @chaoticallyfluffy expressed their interest in my sharing of Marvel Lore
I'm going to stick to some basics and not get into every storyline of Captain Marvel but I will go through general eras and the who's who of them. Now, I am no encyclopedia nor do I claim to know everything about the blorbos, I'm just one of the more well-read of their fans. If anyone else wants to butt in with their own expertise or correct me where I messed up a bit, please do! Better for everyone seeing this post to have something to read up on to save them the hundreds of appearances of these characters, the propaganda, the classic 40's racism, and the shifting timelines and canons!
For starters, I'm just going to stick to good ol' Fawcett comics on this reblog
So, just to get it out of the way, Whiz comic was pure unfiltered Golden age nonsense like most every early comic and thats the magic of Whiz. It was fun and unapologetically so for basically it's entire history, not really getting a chance to modernize thanks in large part to DC suing them out of publication before they could follow the changing trend.
We start in Whiz Comics #2, officially there is no #1, and we meet Billy Batson. He's passing out his newspapers in the rain when hes approached by a trenchcoated man with no discernable features who asks why hes out so late and Billy responds that he is homeless and sleeps in the subway. The man tells Billy to follow him, they get far into the subway and board a strange train that takes Billy to the dwellings of the Wizard Shazam who do a quick lore drop for the kid. Basics are established, Billy is an orphan and his scummy Uncle Ebenezer stole the inheritance his folks left behind.
Shazam gives Billy his powers and sends him on his way, Billy then overhears a plot by some men to take over the radio waves and goes into Whiz Radio to tell the owner, Mr. Morris, what he heard. Mr. Morris is skeptical but tells Billy if he can prove what he says he'd give the kid a job working for him. Billy goes off, turns into Captain Marvel for the first time, and finds and destroys the machine that was going to take over the radio waves, curtesy of the brilliant mind of Doctor Thaddeus Bodog Sivana's criminal scheming. Billy gets his job and Captain Marvel is established.
From then on is a flurry of fun whimsical adventures where Captain Marvel and Billy Batson work as a team to fight evil and protect the defenseless, a point is made many times over that Billy Batson and Captain Marvel are different people. This is shown through Cap appearing semi-translucent to only Billy like a ghost to encourage or help him, times where Captain Marvel and Billy physically were different people, and the Captain referring to Billy as a separate person and vice versa. They basically swapped places.
Before the iconic Big Three of the Marvel family we had the Lieutenant Marvels, named after creators in Fawcett publications, all of which shared the name Billy Batson in the comics. The country livin' Hill Billy, the rounder Fat Billy, and the tall Tall Billy. They took these nicknames when they met because they agreed that our Billy Baston should keep his normal one since he was the most popular with his own show and such, they were soon also kidnapped and strapped to a log on a cutting line about to be split in two and Billy's voice alone wasnt loud enough to go over the sound of the blade to summon Shazams powers so the boys yelled in unison and all got powers. Thus Tall Marvel, Fat Marvel, and Hill Marvel came to be and Billy got three new friends.
Freddy Freeman soon joins the ring when, during a scuffle with Captain Nazi, the villain goes crashing into the water nearby a man out fishing with his grandson, they try and pull him out and the old man is killed and when the boy strikes him with an oar in retaliation he is tossed aside and hurt badly from the blow. That boy was Freddy and his grandpa, the latter now dead while Freddy sits at deaths door. Marvel saves him and tries to bring him to hospitals who turn him away because the boy is a lost cause, so he brings him to the Wizard pleading with him to help him save his life. Shazam advises him to share his power and when Freddy says Captain Marvel he is mostly healed and turned into Captain Marvel Jr. He still has a limp and needs a crutch to get around but that is the origin of Marvels long time sidekick and Billy's best friendship with Freddy Freeman.
What also comes about in this era is the introduction of Mary Bromfield, Billy Batson's long lost twin sister who was swapped with a different kid that died in her care when they were six months old and in an orphanage by one Nurse Primm and raised by the Bromfield family while Billy was put into the care of their uncle after their parents died. Mary was raised without knowledge of any of this and neither was Billy until, while covering a sort of game show segment for Whiz, he's called away to talk to a woman on her death bed who happens to be Nurse Primm herself who admits to what she did and gives Billy a matching locket to help him locate Mary. He returns to the show and realizes the girl there is his sister. He saves her from kidnappers and reveals his identity to her and she wonders that, since shes his twin, maybe saying Shazam would transform her too. It works, and thus Mary Marvel is born! The Marvel Family has its members rounded up!
He's been mentioned before here, but Mr. Morris is the owner and head of Whiz Radio, he also functions more often than not as a sweet paternal figure in Billys life and is really nice to him. He himself founded the station out of his own love for the medium, having been a HAM Radio kid in his time and falling in love with the craft then and there. He does what he can to make the station better and is more than a successful entrepreneur in the risks he takes from his trust in Billy to many times he almost fell for someone's scheme trying to gain more capital or help out the station.
He also has a niece and nephew! Cissie and Pete Sommerly, Cissie being a rarely appearing girlfriend of Billy with only a dozen appearances to her name. Of what few times I do remember her she has been saved by Marvel one time I remember, participated in and won a gardening show, and gone on a sweet ice cream date with Billy. They were a swell couple.
Tawky Tawny is the titular talking tiger of the Marvel family, best friends with Billy, has quite the odd origin. Born a normal tiger in India, his mother was killed by a hunter when he was a cub. Later on the son of a missionary, Thomas Todd, adopted the cub and called him Mr. Tawny. When a man in the local village was killed by a tiger the people there blamed Tawny so Thomas fled with the cub in tow, meeting an old hermit who had been a brilliant scientist who made a serum that could make an animal more human so that they might speak. Given to Tawny, he returned to the village and killed the rogue tiger that actually killed the previous man and vocally proclaimed his innocence with the true culprit killed.
When Thomas' father was transferred he was forced to leave Tawny behind, who grew the rest of the way up with the hermit, becoming bipedal and the size of a man with all his tiger features still intact since he'd taken the serum so young. Wanting to join civilization, Tawny boarded a ship headed to America and found himself in Fawcett City, where he accidentally terrified the locals and got placed in the zoo by a confused Captain Marvel. He broke out and incidentally ended up stealing his iconic plaid green suit clothing when he scared the store keep away again, this time having the chance to explain his desire to live with humans to Captain Marvel and get his chance. He became a museum guide but had many other jobs like private detective, clothing model, and actor for a short time before he left that role.
Another icon of the family is Uncle Dudley, or Uncle Marvel as he would fraudulently claim before the kids let him into the family. He found a dairy Mary kept of her good deeds as Mary Marvel and figured out the Marvel Family secret, soon claiming to be their uncle and actually becoming a part of the family because, though a fraud, the man was too lovable to the kids and they went along with his lie. He'd always been more comedic relief than not and had his sweet moments with the family, his running gag being "turning into" Uncle Marvel by revealing his homemade Marvel uniform but never having working powers because his "Shazambago" was acting up. He had a niece as well, Mary "Freckles" Dudley or Freckles Marvel, a comedic relief character in the same vein with Mary specifically. Dudley would found Shazam Inc, where Dudley would work as the Marvel Family's manager.
Last but certainly not least is the Wizard himself, Shazam. Originally named Shazamo, he discarded the O after he representing figure Oggar turned evil, making himself just Shazam and leaving Oggar as a smaller time villain with a grudge. An ancient Wizard who had spent the last few thousand years fighting the forces of evil, he reveals himself as an ancient Egyptian Wizard who had used the powers he bestows onto Billy Batson in his crusade. Soon after bestowing his magic, he is killed by a giant rock from the Rock of Eternity falling on him and crushing him as lightning takes Billy away and back to Fawcett. He remains and reappears many times as a ghost, sometimes through the lighting of a brazier in the RoE but sometimes entirely on his own.
This is the original Marvel Family as they were in Fawcett comics, barring the villains and reoccurring side characters that aren't as important figures to be mentioned here. Newer retcons and additions would add to this roster and take away members as they are quietly dropped from writing, the Lieutenant Marvels dropped almost entirely outside a Multiversity cameo and Dudley getting few modern appearances while characters like Blaze and Satanus are made into the Wizards blood children and Kid Eternity of a different Fawcett publication would be made into Freddy's brother.
I'll get into villains in another reblog attached to the previous post, tell me if theres anything else y'all wanna know!
can someone mansplain the entire history of Billy Batson Captain Marvel, the Shazamily, and Fawcett City to me??? or at least like. . . the main parts

Literally have a job interview in a couple hours but I remembered to log in to express my shazam 2021 #1 thoughts.
1) that dick and billy exchange was horrible
2) MARY IS HERE… my dear … Freddy getting worse without the power is very pre crisis I never got tht clue much reading geoff freddy but ok
3) the suddenness of billy being revealed to be shazam in the first few pages of issue 1??? and no one caring? not even billy? What is the point of this book then I’m so confused
4) billy goes to hell AGAIN! how many times old man
5) billy making friends his age outside of shazam family is nice :)
I’m probably going 2 read the rest of this anyway even if I’m gonna be mad at whatever event this is leading to but!! I’m not tht critical I do like the weird kind of kid billy is being written as it’s v generic but there’s some satisfying bits abt him I guess

🅰️:False! Shazam listens to and IDs music. Its stats are used by radio to help decide what to play. If you hear BTS on the radio, send Shazam screenshots to the station! Get more info from @BTSonShazam on Twitter at: btsonshazam.carrd.com
❓How many of BTS’ singles have been on Billboards' Hot 100? (not counting collabs/solo projects) 🟡16🟢18🔵19
🅰️ 18! Their latest charting song was Film Out in April.
❓ For Billboard, it doesn't matter if you sign into YouTube when streaming Butter. 😃True😦False
🅰️False For charting, Billboard only counts music video streams from logged-in users - so SIGN IN before streaming Music Videos! Also, because of that rule, we discourage streaming embedded versions of Butter.
❓DJ’s can play whatever they like on the radio?
👍True👎False
🅰️False Program directors determine what songs can be played at a radio station instead of DJs. Program directors add songs based on sales, streams, Shazams, and other data. Visit btsx50states.com/charting-education/radio for more!
❓Which of these song file types counts as a stream for Apple Music? 1️⃣Apple Music AAC audio file 2️⃣Purchased AAC audio file
🅰️Apple Music AAC audio files count as streams The only way to get them is to add BTS songs to your library. ⚠️If you bought songs, remove and re-add them to your library to change them from “purchased” to “Apple Music” files.
❓Offline listening counts for streaming in Apple Music?
👍True👎False
🅰️ 👍True If done properly, downloaded music in Apple can count for streaming: 1️⃣REMOVE purchased songs from your library
2️⃣ADD them back to your library
3️⃣Download songs
4️⃣Connect to the internet Thursday (the end of tracking week)
That’s the end of our quiz, but here is some other important info:
Buying is ARMY’s strength! But don’t buy more than 4 copies of the same song per transaction!
Regardless of the app you are streaming on, do the following so your streams count:
▶️Play songs all the way through
▶️👆Interact with the app ▶️⏸️⏪
💟↔️Play at least 2-3 other songs between Butter
Did you pre-order Butter from store.bts-butter.us yet? Remember to claim downloads before midnight ET 5/27. Click on the link in the email and download ALL copies you bought so they count.. You have to download on a computer!
