couldn’t tell you why i did it

but i just spent. 2ish hours? swimming around a warm ocean in minecraft, filling up 2 shulker boxes of completely unique tropical fish. 

there’s like. i think 2,000+ variants of tropical fish in minecraft BUT they don’t all spawn equally

these guys are the most common (image pulled from google)

they spawn in the schools. 

all the other variants are of these body types/pattern types (some with the same name but with color differences in parenthesis, others have completely unique names, there’s also a handful more unique body types)

the variants spawn either on their own, or as an outcast in a school of other fish, and they don’t spawn in every school. 

if i had to guess they spawn about once every 5 or 6 schools spawn? 

which. isn’t much. 

idk why i decided to do this. i don’t have a water or ocean themed build. i think this warrants one. or like. an aquarium.
