I found out some stuff about Oni's and I have a whole bunch of new headcanons for Lloyd and Garmadon..

Lucifer who checks up on you hourly despite how busy he is.

Lucifer who plays your favorite cursed record when you're not there beside him.

Lucifer who plans the most extravagant dates for you.

Lucifer who sets you as his wallpaper.

Lucifer who sets you as the most important person on his contacts.

Lucifer who invites you to his personal study just for you to be near

Lucifer who buys a ring that matches with your ring. (His ring, but he considers it yours.)

Lucifer who carries you to bed when you fall asleep in one of RAD's classrooms.

Lucifer who follows your every command. You told him to sleep? Already in his pajamas. Told him he needs a break? Already booked a private resort for the two of you.

Lucifer who drapes his coat over your figure, hunched over your desk filled with schoolwork.

Twisted RnD! Teased their relationship in my previous post and now I’m gonna go more into their relationship / dynamics!!

Kinda a yap fest under cut:

Going for the doodle above, Razzle is the one that takes control as a Twisted (the ribbon vines, etc), but that also takes up a bunch of energy on his end. So, he sleeps. A lot (He probably did as a Toon as well). He's asleep 95% of the time before being woken up.

This leads Dazzle to "keep watch." She's still conscious, unknowingly to Razzle, and tries her absolute best to keep her and Razzle in check. Asleep or awake.

She doesn't like guard duty, but what do you do? Say no to a clearly unstable individual who's apart of you?

Dazzle does take advantage of the situation. It gives her the ability to "warn" other Toon's about Razzle.

You see, Razzle is sensitive to vibrations in the circle while he's asleep. Even if Dazzle doesn't wake Razzle when a Toon walks in their area, he certainly can feel them if they run.

After a few casualties, Dazzle picks up on it and manages to communicate (somehow) this information to the Toons on the floor, so they don't die.

But it's not all gloom, self-isolation, and masking (hah).

Dazzle's mindset is the same as Glisten when it comes to consciousness, though on different levels.

Glisten yearns for company; Dazzle yearns for freedom.

Something they can both find in each other.

Glisten find company from finding someone to talk to. He's tried talking to the other Twisteds before, but it's nice to have someone who actively acknowledging that they're listening.

The two can't speak coherently of course, but Dazzle can nod, and that's all Glisten needs.

Dazzle's only sense of freedom is going against Razzle. It's found in both her warning Toons and talking with Glisten. Though it's more of the latter.

Why does she find talking with the mirror rebellion? Cause Razzle is hella overprotective.

It's not just their space, but her as well. Razzle thinks that he knows best for both him and Dazzle, which is why he shuts her down so often.

It's not out of malice, just an overamplified sibling bond. I think turning Twisted enhances and exaggerates a certain trait, and this one being Razzle's care for Dazzle. (Think of DDLC iykyk)

Dazzle clearly dislikes when Razzle brutally kills a Toon in front of her, but he doesn't listen. Dazzle's just scared and wasn't thinking straight. He's here for her. He's the only one that understands her.

Going back to the vine vibration murder aspect of Razzle, he's not doing this for himself, but for Dazzle (or so he claims).

He wants what's best for her and what makes her more comfortable. He wants her to be happy, and if that means killing anyone who disturbs their (his) sleep, then so be it.

Razzle is unaware that Dazzle is conscious, all he knows is that she's terrified, and will do anything to comfort her in their dark times.

He knows her better than she knows herself after all.

I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

Fëanor became a mad scientist sure, but I love the idea that Curufin was inherently a mad scientist.

I’m talking Henry Jekyll and Victor Frankenstein levels of the reason no one remembers what Curufin did is some of it was so horrific, such a perverse twist of life and death and magic, it had to be forgotten. To ensure his work *never* made its way to Morgoth or Sauron’s or anyone else’s hands, his brothers spent their lives meticulously cracking down on every lore master who left even a hint of what really went on in Curvo’s workshops.

In every history book he’s written in the shadow of Fëanor and the silmaril. He’s cunning. He’s crafty. But no one must remember his own brand of innovation and insight, more terrifying than Fëanor’s ever was.

Celebrimbor had to get his ideas from somewhere after all. They’re just lucky he decided to use them for healing and rejuvenation of already living things.

Part 1 of my silly self-indulgent personal project to do a bunch of portraits of the World Enders (and I guess a couple other related characters). This set is all canon characters.

PLEASE NOTE that like while there's plenty here that's canon as far as names and sometimes faces go, a LOT of the info is part of a collaborative RP/writing project with @spectromagic so like, please don't take all of this as solid fact, just enjoy the cute and very simple little portraits, haha.

I'll do a part 2 or even 3 eventually but those will almost all be OCs we've used to fill out the gang. These folks at least you might have heard of from the band themselves! (Honestly Charlie is only here because she's named in canon and had a namedrop in what we've written so far unlike some of the other canon folks who we haven't really used like Tender Freddie or Jimmy Doll).

in which Jason helped raise Damian while in the League but no one knows. Damian never mentioned it because he was told that it was important to keep it a secret when he first was sent to Gotham because Jason was “undercover” and later on both are way too emotionally constipated to admit to their father/son-ish relationship

but it’s also still obvious there’s something there after the family reconciles because Damian, without even realizing he’s doing it, tends to orbit around Jason when he’s around and seek him out for approval/confort/help/whatever. Jason too is unusually mindful of Damian.

but no one truly realizes what’s going on between them because honestly, without evidence, coming to the conclusion that Talia had Bruce’s dead teenage son raise Bruce’s infant son while she was training both of them to become assassins is incredibly surreal. and mostly everyone just avoids the subject of what happened with Jason between him dying and him coming back to Gotham

(bonus point if Damian still has a parental relationship with Bruce and Dick but Jason still is his number one parent and remains undefeated despite literally all of his other parental figures efforts to have a better relationship with him)

random nico power headcanon of mine is that he can overhear things through shadows, particularly if he really focuses in and listens, and if anyone says his name it'll catch his attention through the shadows no matter where either of them are.

the angsty half of this hc is that it means Nico is unfortunately extremely aware of all the negative things people say about him, because he's forced to hear it constantly even when no one else is around unless he's actively tuning it out.

the funny half is that it means Nico knows way too much gossip, and the shippy portion is that it means Nico is far too aware of when people are saying nice things about him and he doesn't know what to do about it.

Been thinking about Hosea a lot as I write this analysis on Dutch and Micah.

Maybe I’ll eventually whip something up about him, but for now I’m left with thoughts about knowing that not only is Hosea just as guilty as Dutch when it comes to how their boys were brought up (and continued to be treated through adulthood and ultimately up to their deaths), but also the way the two irreparably damaged John and Arthur’s entire lives beyond even their own comprehension. FURTHERMORE, they set forth a viscous cycle of familial violence and neglect that maintained momentum into the next generation. (See: John and Jack.)

The way Hosea’s action, but more importantly his inaction had in part led to… well, [gestures vaguely to RDR1 + RDR2].

Hosea might have been gentler than Dutch on the surface, but he saw it all, and at times both implicitly and explicitly encouraged it through the meticulous timing of his decisions to remain a “silent watcher.”

Yes, refusal to mitigate the violence makes him complicit, but the matter of the fact is… Hosea can’t even feign partial innocence as a third-party bystander because of how calculated he is in nature.

Additionally, there is no “third party.” Dutch and Hosea are a single unit. They occupy the same space even as two separate individuals in John and Arthur’s lives.

The deliberate nature of Hosea’s inaction puts him in the same position as the “perpetrator” because he isn’t just a watcher, he corroborates directly with Dutch and agrees with what he is doing on principle. He reenforces it in perhaps more subtle ways, but that doesn’t make him any less responsible for the outcome.

The only difference between the two is that while they’re dealing different cards, they are playing the exact same game.

Monoshin FANART + Headcanons:

-As they grew closer over time, Shinsou became more comfortable with being in close proximity to Monoma even when he is being clingy or touchy. And he enjoys it at times.

-Now Shinsou will sometime casually invade Monoma's personal space which would always shock the latter until he got somewhat used to it.

-Monoma is the type that gets shy easily when Shinsou initiates or reciprocates affection even though he was the one that always played around and flirted.

-Monoma fell first but Shinsou fell harder !

My Hero Worldbuilding: Quirk Laws

Something I'm really curious about in the My Hero world is how Quirk laws work in other countries because it is simply not possible for anything Quirk-related to be completely universal across the globe.

Are there nations that don't allow hero training until an individual is eighteen years old, therefore making it a college-level degree?

Are there nations where the practice of professional heroes is not a thing but Quirk usage by law enforcement is?

Are there nations where women are not allowed to use Quirks/be Pro Heroes?

Aside from Humarise, are there other cults or even major religions that took a stance to say Quirks are unnatural? Do major religions have denominations that disagree and say Quirks are part of their deity's grand design.

Are there nations that banned Quirks entirely and focused their efforts on anti-meta human countermeasures?

Other worldbuilding headcanons I have:

Otheon: I think the Otheon/Klayd island was originally created by one or more heroes to be a ceasefire zone where Quirkless refugees found safety in the growing chaos of the new reality.

Environmental: I feel like for all their societal problems, the My Hero world is a world that at least has its environmental stuff sorted out.

My most non-canon tsh headcanon is that richard and his mother have the Most Complicated Relationship Ever, his father's physical abuse just takes up more space in his memories but it's his mother's Everything that sits heavy in his subconscious (though he doesn't have the self awareness to recognize this).

there's no proof to this, his mother literally has like one line in the whole book, i know i know. but in my heart of hearts, i believe that boy should have some mommy issues.
