Hehe, yeah, for sure! I'm actually gonna start working on two pieces for the SpiderDads zine soon (one of them NSFW), and both will of course have Miguel and Peter in them
If I didn't have to do commissions and other types of work to make ends meet, then you would have seen so much more Peter stuff from me, but unfortunately I can't pay rent with likes and shares (I really wish I could though 😅)
#and often times' I just feel like drawing Miguel way more when I finally get some free time lmao#I have way more ideas and refs of him than peter' so it's super easy to just get to work immediately#but anyways' sure! I made this a while ago with the intention that it could also function as an owned business if you added a ticket machine, so it has a little staff-only break room behind the bar:
But as a regular community lot, I recommend putting something else in here, like a second bathroom, so that townies don’t get distracted. It’s also why the top floor has a buffet table rather than a full restaurant, because those are a pain to run. I recommend the Commercial Buffets mod.

Please stop calling Chaos Crew Mikey and Childhood Dreams Timothy a baby :D
They are not babies! They are teenagers, saying "poor baby" when they're sad makes me feel really invalidated because I'm trying to write teenagers but people are calling them babies for being naive or positive
It makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong because my writing is being compared to babies when I'm trying to write a teenage character being upset
#this has kind of been building up for a while so it might come off as rude#I've been wanting to say it for a while now#posting Chaos Mikey being sad and getting multiple comments saying “poor baby” was the final nail in the coffin#I'm not trying to pull *that* card but Tim and Chaos Mikey share some traits that are often infantilized in media#like Autism/ADHD aroace being plus sized and just being a positive person#It also reminds me of the invalidation I used to get when I would cry and just be told to “walk it off and stop pouting”#please stop it makes me uncomfortable

#cheeri rants#this is brought on by me finally letting myself get back into smth i loved for like 5-6 years#and got squicked out of by senseless witch hunts and trans/misogyny and the like#im really sitting here remembering all the nights i stayed up with amazing friends#the shoulders i cried on and the hands i held for others#the people who stood with me through some of the toughest times i can remember#we all loved the same silly things#we all poured bits of ourselves into everything we created and we shared that with everyone#i still so vividly remember lamenting that id never get to see our interest irl#and someone i didnt even know all that well dm’d me a few days later asking if i had venmo or paypal#because they were going to give me $50 to buy a ticket. they wanted to go but couldnt#for some reason i cant remember but they gave me their own money and told me to please enjoy in their place#and you know what? i fucking cried that night. you dont see that anymore#the all-nighters i pulled with my best friend watching the live reruns of our interest before we even got into the fandom#doing my homework while we were on facetime together squealing#and all of this came to a screeching halt because of some . PEOPLE.#who figured we were having fun the wrong way because they didnt like it#and we put up all the flashing neon signs to warn people#warn them of smth they should have already known#and just because people ignored those signs it was taken out on us anyway#and i have never been so heartbroken to watch one by one as some of the brightest people i ever knew#started leaving. breaking down. their light was being stomped out because some assholes cant mind their own#and i will be fucking damned before i stand by and let that happen again. to anyone.

uuuug every so often i see writing tips passed around and i want to make a post but i can't find the right words to convey "aaaauuggh don't do what The r/se of sk/walk3r did"
(long tags warning bc i haven't learned how not to type like i'm not popping off yet)
#so basically after the movie was released worldwide to the public- official social media dropped a bunch of side facts about the story.#but not in the way that something like fromsoft games tend to do. u know how there's massive lore in some games?? but not overtly explained#but there's enough there (and the medium type might help) that fans pick up what the game already contains to connect lore.#anyway. the movie in op apparently had…a bunch of details that were relevant to the actual story in the movie but just. were not included#the knig/ts of ren?? their whole deal is Not Included In The Movie that they finally appear in#the planet that connects one of the major characters to the grandpa he has a whole complex revolved around? doesn't mention he visits#the inner thoughts of the protagonists' (supposedly). or the vital sidequest one main guy is on but is only vaguely mentioned?#not in the movie. these and most likely other tidbits important to the characters or narrative in some way were at most given a nod to#but otherwise nothing substantial to these themes and motivations or actual character backgrounds were properly executed/expanded on#so the official socials instead just like. idk shared a bunch of these deets online or in completely separate media of the franchise#but it should!!be in the movie!! it could have enriched the narrative and it could have been better executed!! do u get what i'm saying??#maybe i am like Burned from what that movie did in regards to this (and the franchise as a whole lol) but like. ig what im saying is#you can include the little side bits that might be important to your characters or narrative or themes in some way even in passing#and it doesn't need to be removed from the narrative entirely. if you like your audience to share something that fancies you then-#-you can make room! somewhere somehow. if u want! if it's balanced#so on so forth “kill your darlings” disclaimer but just Please not at the expense of throwing the baby out with the bathwater

#either that or i'll just redraw it as myself#i'm not gonna share the photo rn but like. god girl what were you thinking#a blue shirt with pink and yellow cats that's obviously too small for me#light grey pajama bottoms with pink cuffs(?)#ugly ass red socks with a white pattern or smth that look a bit like the psych ward socks#the nerdiest pair of glasses i've ever owned#and leapard print trainers 😭😭 (velcro because i didn’t know how to tie my shoes)#please get a better taste in fashion omg#my first seizure story is pretty funny to me tbh#i was at my desk at like 10pm colouring a pair of sunglasses red in honour of red nose day#(it was supposed to be part of my outfit for the next day because red nose day and pudsey day tended to be non uniform days)#and all of a sudden i wake up on the floor with a mild stomach ache#now i had had a lot of those and my parents began to not trust me when i said i felt sick#but this one was a bit worse than usual#so i started making whimpering sounds to make it beleivable#and my parents (who were in a bit of a panic) misinterpreted this and thought i was in too much pain to talk 😭😭#and i was so confused because i was just. lying on my bedroom floor as my parents ran about stressed saying shit ljke#“should we call them” which confused me further because#why are you already calling the school to tell them i'm gonna be absent??????#and then someone FINALLY explains to me i had a seizure and i'm like. oh.#i have a few other odd seizure stories#like when i had a seizure while playing othello#or while playing crazy 8s on gamepigeon with my friends#or when i had sent a status “coming back from the hospital” which scared my grandma but we assured her i was fine and healthy#and that it was just a checkup and everything was good and i hadn’t had a seizure in ages#and then i proceeded to have a seizure that night.#the irony is amazing#epilepsy: making my life interesting since 2018(?)#tw seizure mention#mia has a stupid thought
