Do you understand Scag? I do.
This is a big list of dialogue meant to highlight Scag's writing quirks, which may be useful in fanfiction and roleplay. I've been so fascinated by Scag and her dialogue that I had to do this.
Basics
Scag uses a lot of Internet slang, which makes sense because she is a TV that knows a lot about old computer programs and make references to streamer lingo. The most obvious of this is "How do I ban this guy chat" (to Pest) and "Yours... not so peak" (to Prototype), including suffixes like -core, -maxxer or -maxxing, and -filled.
She also has a fairly inconsistent typing pattern when it comes to capitalization.
The Suffixes
The suffixes are the weirdest part of Scag's dialogue, especially if you don't know about Internet speak so much. I will unfortunately have to explain some of this to you.
-core
core is often applied to make new genres of aesthetic or music (think scenecore, emocore, weirdcore, and horrorcore). The way that Scag uses it is as an adjective, usually to describe a person or item belonging to a certain group.
Examples: "HORRIBLECORE" (when sprayed with water), "SWEETCORE" (when given roses), "go get cleancore soon though" (talking to Mark about sawdust), "WINCORE" (talking to Prototype about watching CDs), "IT ADDS TO THE AESTHETICCORE!" (talking to Reddy about sparking animatronics), "Dude thats like scagcore" (when Spud! mentions having an old TV monitor like her)
It's noticeable that "win" by itself is already technically considered slang, similar to saying "w" (which is win). I find it funny Scag still says -core at the end of it though.
-maxx, -maxxing, -maxxer
-maxx is a suffix that has been applied to mean "getting the maximum output for the minimum input", essentially meaning to work smart and not hard. Scag mainly applies this word to mean something done thoroughly.
Examples: "Spellmaxx this out for me real quick" (to Wallter)
-maxxing is the big one used in most of Scag's dialogue.
-maxxer is used to describe when you are a part of a group that does the above. She only uses this word twice, once to describe Prototype and the other to talk to Spud!.
Examples: "the friendfilled visitmaxxer" (to Prototype), "dont fret spudmaxxer, you'll probably find your home" (to Spud!)
filled
-filled is used similarly to "pilled" where it's an adverb to describe a lot of something, similar to -maxx. For example, "humorpilled" is "full of humor" and its context is used in a joke.
Examples: "OH you don't get the humorfilled joke do you" (to Gnarpy about a television joke), "happy joyous birthdayfilled occasion btw" (to Poob about their birthday), and "Your projects can range up to skyscraperfilled heights???" (to Wallter talking about construction)
head
In some chats with a few characters, Scag uses the suffix "head" to describe when someone is performing an action that is intrinsic to their character. For example, when she mentions commissioning Wallter for her floppy shoppy floor, she says, "I'm glad I commissionheaded you for the building LOL"
Scag calls herself a "computerhead" when requesting that Bive doesn't use her like a computer, and refers to FleshCousin as a "parrothead" when it is mimicking her words.
Capitalization (and lack of consistency)
Depending on who Scag is talking to, the capitalization of her sentences and words vary. Sometimes I'ms are capitalized but sometimes they're stylized as i'm (lowercased).
It seems a lot of Scag's capitalization style goes down to how she feels, for example;
Excitement or emphasis — All caps, examples being: "DUDE / Your sillytalk is on POINT" (to Split on hearing her jokes), "Hrm..... / a floppyshoppy tower... / ONE DAY" (to Wallter on talking about construction), "ARE YOU READY FOR / GAMEUM NIGHT ULTIMATE 10000 / with exclusive puzzlefilled fun." (to Prototype as a dialogue opener)
Quiet/Introspective — A very rare side of Scag, she often talks in lowercase if thinking or talking in a more quieter tone. Some examples are when she talks to Split, "ermm... / methinks that the little hamsters in my internal structure has stopped the production of joyfilled thoughts..." as well as her talking to Spud, upon realizing that he doesn't know where his home is, "wuh oh / dont fret spudmaxxer, you'll probably find your home"
Punctuation
Scag uses a lot of periods, but she also often ends sentences without any sort of punctuation whatsoever. When she uses punctuations, she often also uses an excess amount of ellipses to drive her point home.
Examples: "uhuhh....... / LAME" (to Reddy about FNARB), “Hrm..... / a floppyshoppy tower... / ONE DAY.” (to Wallter about his construction), "... / cringeeee" (to Mark about being old or whatever)
There are whole interactions where Scag doesn't use punctuation, such as her talk with PartyNoob, entering the elevator, being showered in rose petals, and her idles.

I have a really weird hyperfixation on The Mummy, but not the Boris Karloff or the Brendan Fraser versions, those would be completely acceptable movies to enjoy (and I do so enjoy them)
but I cannot stop thinking about The Mummy 2017 starring Tom Cruise and it's a problem
I love bad movies, I love them so much, I own so many b-grade horror flicks, old classic films with terrible acting and awful special effects, I love absolutely shit tier cgi, I love Ed Wood disasters, I love cult classic bad movies, I love really weird niche bad movies
but this one is like, such a special kind of bad movie, I can't really put my finger on exactly why though?? but I am damn well going to try, in this essay I will-
they fucked up from the get go by casting Tom Cruise, like this movie is sometimes deliberately goofy, but a lot of the time it takes itself very seriously, SO seriously, and I cannot physically take Tom Cruise seriously, he turns every single scene he is in into a joke by virtue of his mere presence
but when they have actual jokes, they are so not funny they cycle back around to being really fucking funny
I am watching this movie fucking whiff every god damn beat it tries to hit and it does it so beautifully it's a god damn marvel
Russel Crowe as Jekyll and Hyde??? I actually somehow missed the part where he introduced himself as Jekyll on my first watch, so the Hyde reveal was a true surprise to me and I was very genuinely disappointed on my second watch when I realised it was not supposed to be a surprise, because that was a really fun reveal
and Russel Crowe seemed to be having an absolute fucking whale of a time as Hyde, I loved every moment he was on screen with his stupid cockney accent, I would watch his movie, I know it would be bad, that's why I want it, because there is nothing quite like a bad movie with an actor still giving 110%
and the mummy character herself? she was supposed to be pharaoh and then her dad had a son with someone else and now this baby is jumping all up in her place like, okay baby murder might not be the coolest thing in the world but like, she's got ambition, she's getting shit done, she's hustlin' like go get it girl I'm rooting for you babe
also when she sucked the life out of some dude and turned him into a shrivelled husk my roommate said 'she could do that to me and I'd thank her' so she's got that going for her, like girl's a half rotten corpse wrapped in decaying bandages and she still slays
and then we have the completely ridiculous female rivalry??? like this mummy could kill this woman SO MANY TIMES and just doesn't???? for reasons?????? like she could literally kill her in an instant at any moment but no they gotta girl fight for a bit because Tom Cruise is at stake and why wouldn't two hot women fight over Tom Cruise right?? right????
nevermind the fact that he has been practically nothing but ✨The WooOOOOooorst✨ to her the WHOLE first act of the movie, oh and uh let's not forget the 'duh huh guy bad at sex' jokes that they just could not put down for a good chunk there (but wait! uh he's good at sex actually she's just being mean because he hurt her feewings)
like, this movie hits every fucking branch of the bad trope tree, this movie is playing bad trope bingo, it is collecting bad tropes like pokemon, it has to have them all
also a really bizarre ongoing American Werewolf in London reference?? it was not unwelcome, it was some of the best comedy in the movie (that is an easy bar to jump btw), the actor had some great wry line delivery, I enjoyed it
I think the biggest issue, and the reason I can't stop chewing on this magnum opus of garbage, is that it reminds me of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, in several different ways
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen also happens to be another of my favourite bad movies, but it falls into the particular genre of bad movies, a fucking cool as shit concept, and some really cool as shit visuals, and some very cool as shit characters, but an absolute swing and a miss on the delivery
The Mummy 2017 starring Tom Cruise has That Vibe to me, there is some cool shit here, we know this because the previous version utilised that cool shit very very well, but this one was the only one who made the villain a woman pursuing a man, and not just any man, the ✨worst✨ man, you did not feel very sorry for this guy, honestly watching him go through the constant torment of being stalked by a bodacious supernatural babe who put a sexy little curse kiss on him was fun, he's a sopping wet little meow meow and I wanna see him thrown at a wall, and I get to see that several times, and it is a delight every time
in the previous movie the mummy went after really likeable characters, people who were just generally nice, a roguish scamp with a heart of gold, or just really hot, seriously that cast was beyond smoking what the fu
I did not like Tom Cruise as a character, and to be fair that was the point, he was supposed to have a redemption arc, the story and his sacrifice at the end were supposed to be about him becoming a better person
but he fucking doesn't??? it's like 'oh boo hoo I have made this great sacrifice and now I am a monster and I did it to save my lady love's life even though we had zero chemistry and I was just ✨The Worst✨ to her' and then he fucks off to go and do the exact same shit he was doing at the start of the movie, fucking around in the desert looking for boy adventures
it was a great ending and I loved it because it was so dumb and also he abandoned the woman he brought back to life to go fuck around with his bro who he also brought back to life, I love that for them, go have some boy adventures you madlads you sure didn't earn it but don't let that stop you, just heterosexually ride off into the sunset together it's fine, she is literally better off without you in every way you made the Correct Decision
and then there's these moments, moments that are treated like big moments, and could be really cool moments, but just don't fucking land
there's a part where Tom Cruise starts talking to the mummy in her own language (they got a psychic bond and shit which is it's own cool little thing we'll get back to that) and everyone is watching like 😮 oooh didn't know he could do that wow there really IS magic bond between them oooh, and it's like a Big Deal and Very Cool
but Tom Cruise just sounds like he's speaking gibberish with a mouth full of novocain???? it doesn't sound cool at all??? it sounds really goofy???? I half expected him to start drooling on himself
then there is the ending, leading lady dies, he completes the ritual to invite the god of death into his body (a fucking baller move honestly), he fights it for control as the mummy attempts to sway the beast inside him to her side, but when he sees his beloved laying dead he fights her off, using his newfound powers to defeat her, and then weeps over his lady love begging for her to wake up
and then as he lets the god inside him loose, a terrible monstrous visage takes him over as he bloodcurdlingly screams in her face WAKE UP!!! and the power within him that he doesn't understand and can barely control listens
she wakes, and sees him hiding in the shadows, unable to face her now that he has become something terrifying
at least that's what I think they thought the scene would be like, it was a little more like, some crappy flashback and speed up effects as he becomes the god of death, a really pathetic and uneventful 1 minute of him fighting for control, after which he has a really pathetic and uneventful 1 minute of fighting the mummy, and then as he screams for his lady love to wake up, we get a shot of some absolutely fucking god awful cgi and the most uninspired monster face I've ever seen
I mean, half seen, it was a very dark shot, in fact most of the movie is shot in the dark, a very blatant attempt to obscure the shithouse cgi
except in one scene where it kinda fucking slapped, where the mummy sucks the life out of some guys, and then reanimates their husky corpses as thralls, the way they stand like jerky unstable puppets being dragged to their feet by unseen strings was actually pretty fuckin' dope and the dark scene obscured the details in just the right amount to make their uncannily decrepit silhouettes appear super creepy
this is the only time that trick works, every other time I just want someone to turn on a fucking torch so I can actually see what the hell's going on
okay now let's get back to that psychic bond thing
our main character was chosen not because he was a descendant, or a reincarnation, or just Looked Real Pretty (although I think she did have the hots for him a leeetle bit which is like, girl raise your standards, it's Tom Cruise, he's about as sexually appealing as a wet potato, you can do better), he had absolutely zero in common with the mummy's original choice for this ritual, in fact that guy was not significant to the story at all, I think he was just some dude who was down for some ritual shenanigans 'cause a hot lady asked him (also he was hotter than Tom Cruise so this is a significant downgrade, I feel like if she had the opportunity to shop around a little she might have picked better)
so Tom Cruise wasn't chosen for any reason other than that he's the one who released her, and she sees this as her way of saying thank you, and I love that, it's real sweet, would love if I opened a door for someone and they repaid me by summoning a god of death into my body, that really shows they care you know?
she gives him a little hallucinatory kissy kiss and then manages to follow him everywhere, while also compelling him to follow her without him really knowing it, there is a very cool part where he's trying to drive away from her, but somehow ends up driving in a circle and falling right back into her clutches, that was cool, that had the potential to even be super fucking creepy, she can manipulate him without him even realising, it doesn't matter where he goes or what he does, he will always somehow find his way back to her, that's so good, I love that
and then back to the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comparisons
The Mummy 2017 starring Tom Cruise established a concept of an organisation who hunt down, collect, and research supernatural phenomena, with a leader (Jekyll) who also has ulterior motives and is actually not really the good guy, this movie was also supposed to be part of a monster movie cinematic universe, so this really could have become like, the Universal Monster Movie equivalent of the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and I would have watched the hell out of that, and I am crushed that this movie bombed so bad and ruined the whole plan
like could you imagine a whole series as bad as this movie? all culminating together as the most god awful Avengers style team up? fuuuck I want to live in that universe so bad
I think my fascination comes from this ungodly mix of real pure potential, those fleeting super fucking cool moments and concepts that, if given to literally any other actor, could have really been something, and the just pure insane failure to make literally anything in this plot successfully land a hit
somehow this movie felt like the completely dead and soulless corpse of a cheap party clown, while the ghost of something incredible flickered in its eyes

you do it to yourself. just you. you and no one else.
Heartstrings fact for this post: When dude rolled up to St. Valentine’s (the HS he attended) he was paired with a girl named Alex to be roommates. The two hit it off almost immediately. Alex was sent there because she was a problem child. Dude asked to go there because he felt like he was one too. The two quickly became inseparable, doing everthing together like eating lunch, walking to class, even sleeping in the same bed sometimes. They spent every moment they could together. This was, Dude’s first and only friend. The person he felt closest to, and the one who understood him best.
When Dude came to her one day all giddy and told her that he had a crush on a boy you could say Alex’s world shattered around her. Still, she put on a smile. She didn’t really understand why a faceless nameless guy coming into Dude’s life distressed her so much. Of course, this guy was Ezra.
Even after Ezra and Dude got together, Alex and Dude remained friends and roommates though not as close as they once were, because Dude started doing everything with Ezra instead.
Ezra encouraged Dude to thrive and talk to people even just casually. Dude eventually tried out for and joined the cheerleading squad just to have extracurriculars. He really helped Dude thrive the first two years they were together.
Alex however hated Ezra. She wanted him gone. She wanted to see what was so great about him. The three became friends on paper. Three best friends.
Eventually, Ezra graduated a year before Dude. Even though she finally had Dude all to herself again, they never really went back to how things were no matter how hard Alex tried. Dude would always go to Ezra first. There was a canyon where their friendship once was. The three agreed to go to college together at UoH.
I’ll be showing references for Alex and the rest of the cast hopefully soon. They should be up on my patreon by now though.

Just a little thing that the DPxDC community doesn't explore much is the Cass x Danny. By the way they are portrayed, she is quiet and reserved introvert girl, that keeps to herself, and he is an explosive extrovert when you get to know him.
Since I'm a sucker for dynamics that are not used as much as the others, I think this is something fun to explore (maybe I'm just dumb and I'm missing a ton of content).
I can imagine it going like this: he is a regional manager for Nasty Burger as a harmless way to satiate Vlad's obsession with him (Nasty Burger belongs to Vlad in canon, and sometimes, Danny deserves to not have a fucked up life anymore), he meets with Cass and the two hook up (both can't explain, but can use the Lazarus pit = ectoplasm head canon).
These are the reactions of the members of the batfamily:
Barbara: she is protective of both Steph and Cass, and does a background check on Danny, but doesn't find any dirty on him (thanks Tucker), after that, she relax and observes the cute couple from her network;
Bruce and Alfred: both are relieved after Barbara's report, and are happy that Cass is now openly smiling and laughing more, it's not like she was unhappy with them, but seeing her in love is reassuring;
Selina and Tim: both are making fun of Bruce, since Danny has black hair and blue eyes, and is dating a member of the batfamily, they are saying to not make Danny the Steph 2.0;
Damian: he liked Danny because all the animals in the manor loved him at first sight, so he can't be a bad guy, but he starts to respect Danny when he discovered that he helped a gorilla species in the brink of extinction to survive;
Duke: he knows that there is SOMETHING with Danny, but he knows that metas in Gotham have to hide themselves from the wrong assumption that Batman hates metas;
Dick and Jason: they thought of doing a good cop/bad cop routine in order see what are the intentions of this guy with their younger sister, but seeing that he has MORE puns than Dick, MORE dead jokes than Jason, and is MORE SASSIER than Steph, Jason is like "fuck this shit I'm out", and Dick is best buddies with the guy
Steph: she hates his guts, not because his is dating Cass, but because he has the audacity of saying that the Nasty Burger is BETTER than the Batburger, her favorite fast food chain, she can't believe that Cass has fallen in love with the enemy.
Other thing: he can't hide forever his powers, so someday, maybe, they are on a date and a random villain attacks, and not wanting his cute and shy girlfriend to be hurt, Danny beat the shit out of this guy, and Cassandra sees her boyfriend tanking several bullets unharmed, punching people away to ridiculous distances, and maybe FLY a little bit?
Danny is freaked out, because he thinks Batman hates metas, but Cass says that her father knows Batman, and can help clear him.
Now Bruce asks Clark if he is aware of this black hair, blue eyes dude, with some powers really similar to Kryptonians that it is currently dating his daughter (all of the JLD knows that Danny is the Ghost King, but understand why the guy is frightened of Batman, so it is kinda funny when they meet, Constantine can't hold his laughter at the image of a Bruce being the father in law of the powerful monarch of the infinite realms, using ridiculous nobility titles to refer to him)

Wow, what a long ramble, hope you like this little contribution the community
No words from my part, anon!
Putting this out there so people can add to it!!

Giving Doctor Who a New Chance, Part 3: The Giggle
It's nice that they're bringing back some classic villain, but I really wish they had the Toymaker butcher some other language. The gag is just not funny at all when you actually speak German
Ok, that's an illustrative montage of a mightyfine chaos
IDK what I think of this - set it up in a way that it can be reset again.
oooh, Mel is back! As a 6th Doctor fan, I appreciate this. Did not expect that. She still got that perky way of talking.
Having seen the eps he was in, slipping over a bottle of Vodka is exactly like Sabalon Glitz would die, but hey, at least he lived to a ripe old age.
Donna just landed herself a new job. I guess there's that duality in human's fluctuating confidence levels again cause she glibly asks for double but looks ecstatic that it worked
so, Donna doesn't remember in detail, but she got a rough glimpse
the guy playing the Toymaker IS pulling off the creepy clown act pretty well tho
I really liked that scene between Donna & the Doctor in the infinite cabinet with the Doctor re-evaluating his life choices.
That's another thing that's been missing, that fucking Chibnall didn't get - that the point of him, at the end of the day, is that he's just some guy. Somewhat wiser & tougher than a human, maybe, but still fundamentally just dude with wits & confidence. A trickster, a flawed person trying to do the right thing that through trickery ended up with this fearsome reputation. I used to think of RTD not getting it as much as Moffat did cause he did like overly savior-archetype-like plots sometimes whereas moffat emphasized the 'just a madman with a box' angle, but RTD gets it in this scene where we see the Doctor cringing at his past self for things he couldn't have foreseen & now he doesn't know what to do in a world that doesn't follow predictable rules
Because that's what they don't tell you about getting smarter, wiser or even just older - the price you pay for knowing better today is cringing at the awareness you used to lack. thats very real. you end up thinking you should somehow have known or done better even if you couldnt have.
there's certainly some thematic rhyming with the 'narrowmindedness-plague' afflicting the earth
Donna's dad is actually right. Good for him to be wary of the Hot Hand fallacy and its ilk. Missed a chance for an epic nerd reference
I dunno what to think about the concept of 'shift to fantasy', i wouldnt have done that & really turned more to harder & concept fanfiction, but i suppose it keeps thinks fresh without being repetitive (they cant keep destroying and un-destroying gallifrey all the time...) & the show has always been the very softest of sci-fi anyway - at leasts its set up in a way that it can be reset again or let future writers pick whatever they want. though i suppose it depends on how its done like, if possible without wholly throwing out humanist values. You can absolutely be a trickster in a fantasy story or fight crazy things with logic; Infinity train did it to great effect. I mean, the classics had far wonkier stuff like actual Vampires & whatnot.
i appreciate Donna rhyming while defeating the puppet
"jingsaw out of your history" thing imply that the timeless child thing was an in-universe retcon of sorts? Oh please. I mean I could kinda sorta accept 13 is she literally wasn't really the same character.
between this & the last episode it's pretty close anyway to the "every single backstory is true because of timey wimey ball" thing from the expanded universe fixed, on-screen canon. That I could live with. It's potentially deeply interesting that by virtue of getting tangled up in all the timelines the Doctor has in some ways been to many possible futures & possible versions of reality.
Former companions werent affected by the giggle thing cause it was a retroactive change made by the toymaker upon getting free
It's kinda sad that we'll never get to see the battle between the Master and the Toymaker because that must really have been something. Like two Jokers or Phantoms of the Opera fighting.
this is like when Q showed up on the bridge of the enterprise. Only much deadlier. I appreciate that the scene never stops feeling actually menacing.
I like how Mel also comes in to hold his hand, too, she's for realsies. (I guess this is how she makes up for making him drink all that carrot juice)
The "Alons-y" is a niftly little contrast/ bookend with 10s exit
My headcanon is that bi-generation absolutely WAS a myth, but that this is an extension of the whole breach in the logic/edge of reality storyarc being set up here, or really just the Toymaker thinking it would be fun to double them infinitely
I like how the Doctor mocks the Toymaker's fake accent with 'the ball' thing
The advantage with the ball game is, of course, that Fifteen has already seen it. He's fabulous alright.
I appreciate how they climb on each other at some point
I don't envy Kate, watching this absurd thing... humanity already got somewhat good at taking Sci-Fi threats on their own, but this they don't have context for. Maybe UNIT is gonna need a vault of magical artifacts now. I suppose you can play with that for a few seasons. Like how a contrast of fantasy & sci-fi elements worked in Madoka.
I like how Donna is casually putting her arm around 15
I guess 15 has reached that point where rather than cringe at your younger self you're able to have compassion. That's a good arc, actually.
aaand of course there's the obligatory sequel hook for the Master's return, to the surprise of no one
I like how the years with the lost memory weren't completely lost but Donna still learned something from them that allows her to send this message now
Soo Fifteen is basically taking advantage of the cartoon logic still being in effect until the end of the episode to duplicate the TARDIS. I bet it only worked because he picked the silliest possible hammer.
I appreciate how 15 makes sure to get one last Donna hug.
I do like that it kinda came down to self-love, self-compassion & knowing when to take a restorative break & all that. That's an important message these days.
So, the Nobles just deadass adopted the Doctor & Mel. Makes all the sense.
I always thought of Mel & the Doctor's dynamic as sibling-like (as opposed to Peri & the Doctor having a 'tsundere couple' energy & Ace who of course had a teacher/student thing), so I feel vindicated.
Also I appreciate how an older woman who didn't have kids but spent her life traveling & adventuring & doing what she wanted, & then ended up feeling a bit lonely because of it here simply ends up not lonely by finding friends / found family. Cause that's the fucking annoying gotcha they always hurl at you "Oh if you don't have kids & live the life you want you'll be lonely!" As if you can't have friends. Also, plenty of ppl who do have kids wind up lonely because the kids end up hating them.
I'm all for the Doctor catching a break. Very touching, honestly. & he's like actually a point where he wouldn't just run off & get side-tracked or brood on the inevitability of its end. (like he would have when spent those years with River)
Also sets an interesting background for 15 of course, as he'll be coming out of it 'fully rested', in a sense.
So, yeah, I do think I'm looking forward to what 15 will get up to. It was sort of a great way to introduce him in such a way that ppl will instantly like him for how he comforts his past self here.
It's also probably the ideal ending for Donna, cause, much like Rose & Clara she wanted to stay forever, & maybe now that she has a daughter & other responsibilities she won't want the big danger all the time, but the Unit Job & living with the Doctor in a house? That's prolly what she would have wanted.
(I wonder if they'll end up running into Martha & Mickey at her job, since Donna & Martha were buds that time they met. )

I have accumulated several references to my irkens that I would like to post! they are all made in the same style for my own convenience, so they are not pretentious and for the most part contain simple quick info
I also just removed the height ruler from here, which I used to compare them but for those who really cares: my irkens are made here the way that if I throw one character into the ref of another, they would be identically correlated by their actual height to each other (I just put a lot of effort into it for some reason :D)
To begin with, there's a lady named Slush! (which is literally not her real name, but for random dudes it's always just "Slush")!
Tumblr media
She is quite chaotic and wild, actually a good girl, but sometimes she is stupid. Also you can address her as you like, with any pronoun, you can say that she is in some sense a genderfluid! :D
Her title is "artificer" and once she was on the staff of the same hardworking bees who are engaged in the Irken heritage in the field unrelated to the art of warfare
She was among those who monitor the preservation of what few people are interested in at the present time and has skills that no one really needs, but she was glad that she had been involved in at least something for many years (btw, she is not so loyal to the Empire in a sense, but you can never tell about her real loyalty, no one knows, not even herself)
But work brought her physical and mental injuries, and life turned into a series of incoherent pictures in the depths of her PAK So escaping against the system and burning days in a box was what eventually led her to a new life (with a slightly unbalanced defective on his own space station)
And the one slightly unbalanced defective mentioned above named Echo!
Tumblr media
He can be a serious grouch and a good-natured person at the same time. In general he is a pretty good listener. You can't tell by him, but he is a smiling guy! :D
This dude is a kind of opponent of the Empire, but silently. His position is not one that he would like to lose. He just doesn't do anything that would put his position in danger. In the days of his active work for the Empire, he and his team was once responsible for the creation of parasite devices, but did not reach the end. For many who worked, the idea remained just an idea :)
In any case, Echo loves nature very much. In fact, at the moment, he has the title of "Ecologist" and he is engaged in research on the restoration and terraforming planets and biomes, to reproduce them after catastrophic events or organic sweeps.
As for Sylvie, they are Echo's favorite pet (Good girl, best friend!) They are a very smart beast and do a lot of work during Echo's off hours. Trained and taught, Sylvie is an integral part of his life.

HEY THERE DEMONS ITS ME YOUR GOOSE
I have something I must discuss.
Annika's sleeping habits.
So we know that she curls up in his office closet because that's where she feels safe enough to sleep and hide from everyone else. But I feel like this occurs later on in their friendship, much later in comparison to the years they have known each other. And this is in reference to the ask you sent me whereby you wrote back that she'd doze off to his lectures about Perseus ideology (which for the most part would be boredom lmao) BUT what if, due to her poor sleeping ability when, like you say, she's on the brink of collapse because of how exhausted she is, in some of these droning conversations where his voice is the only thing heard that's what helps her sleep.
At first it's a completely unintentional thing and maybe she'd be embarrassed about it (especially in the beginning because they probably aren't friends to the extent they are later) and Keith would think "this literal child is being so rude, I'm trying to educate her and she falls asleep on me? I'm not that boring and neither is the goal of Perseus-"
Only to then, when it's happened a few times, he begins to realise that maybe there's something wrong and she's not sleeping properly. And the only time she seems to get some shut eye is when he's talking... so when coming back from a mission, travelling between places and it's an appropriate time to sleep, maybe he starts to purposefully speak for decent lengths of time knowing that it'll help her? If she asked him about it, he'd feign like he hasn't got a clue what she's on about. "I don't care about you enough to even bother, you're just being rude." When really he's internally like "fucking sleep, dammit, your habits give me a heart attack-"
Boy oh boy where do I even begin…
(TW: IMPLIED CHILDHOOD S/A BUT NEVER EXPLICITLY MENTIONED OR DESCRIBED)
Annika’s sleeping patterns, as I’ve told you before, is mainly based off the traumas she’s experienced as a kid, growing up in her dad’s terrorist organization. Police would raid the safehouses they were in, sometimes one of her dad’s men would sneak into her room, threatening her with violence to be quiet while they did stuff to her, and her own father’s torment for being ‘lazy’. It was always dark when these things happen; when she was most vulnerable.
Annika has a very specific way she sleeps; must be facing main entrance; no windows; blankets only where they don’t interfere with mobility; weapon within grabbing distance; walls between me and men
She’s slept on counters trying to keep these rules, even when beds, couches, chairs, or cots are provided. The tub, Keith’s office closet, and basements are typically her lurking spots when she needs rest.
If Annika and Keith are sleeping in the same safehouse, despite trusting him more than anyone, Annika would put herself on lockdown, getting as much space between them as possible without breaking any of the rules.
Even with these precautions, Annika, whenever she sleeps, 4 times out of 10 wakes up screaming. It’s a blood curdling, pained, and dreadful screech. Just how it sounds would convince Keith that it isn’t real, maybe just how his brain copes with the repressed guilt or whatever, eh? Just another dream.
And Annika looks completely fine the morning after, well, as fine as she can look, still, there ain’t no way it’s coming from her. That sound can’t come from a human.
He’d play it off, for a while.
So, after my long ass yapping session- back to the original ask.
Achievement unlocked: Boring as FUCK- be so boring that even a deeply tormented Annika falls asleep during your yapping session
Keith’s voice is like white noise to her- and it reminds she isn’t alone. That there’s someone who’ll cover her six if something goes wrong. But it’s also so fucking boring like dude how the fuck do you stretch out a yes or no question into a lecture like… honk shoe mimimimimimi honk shoe mimimimimi
(I think Keith’s the kind of guy to turn a joke into a lecture)
Honestly, I think Annika would never pick up on it unless he told her. In the moment, all she can think of is “Fuck I started him again, we just got back-“ honk shoe mimimimi honk shoe mimimimi honk shoe
She thinks he likes to hear himself talk- something she learned that a lot of Americans do. Always talking a lot without actually saying anything.
Annika would never figure out that Keith’s doing it for her.

some more ieytd headcanons but ones specifically centered around zoraxis staff. prism is mentioned but not really in a spoiler way. nothing is mentioned that the trailers haven't already revealed so idk
Juniper
Struggles to keep long term relationships of any type because showing that he cares about people is incredibly difficult for him. He likes to imply it and just… hope the other person knows. But what seems obvious for him is incredibly vague for others around him.
(He has lost most of his friends and all of his partners to this phenomenon and he’s really bitter abt it)
He hates embarrassment so much that the second he starts to feel it his brain translates it straight into rage. Unfortunately, this quick fuse normally causes something to happen that only embarrasses him further.
He talks to himself a lot. Which means that he thinks to himself out loud, but he also literally talks to himself. Refers to himself as ‘John’ and hypes himself up whenever he’s about to do something he deems important.
His conceit actually comes at the consequence of making him incredibly paranoid. Whenever someone’s talking or laughing, he always needs to take a second to eavesdrop and make sure they’re not talking about him.
Roxana
Suffers from very intense time blindness- both in regards to her work, as well as her personal life.
Robutler being there was probably the only thing stopping herself from wasting away after she left the Agency. She can, will, and has forgotten to eat, drink, and sleep while she’s been working on projects before.
Names are incredibly important to her. They’re a sign of basic respect, and over the years that mentality has affected how she communicates with… pretty much everyone around her. She uses them a lot more than the average person would because of that.
(It makes talking w/ Fabby so hard because calling her ‘Fabricator’ feels. bad. That’s not a name dude. even Zor has a name Fabs come on work with her here.)
Really hates unpredictability. Only eats from a small pool of foods because that’s the only stuff she’s absolutely certain she’ll like. Working with her robots is so comforting because she’s always aware of exactly what their thought process is going to be.
Solaris
She’s naturally very loud. Volume control is pretty much never at the forefront of her mind, but at the same time she gets really annoyed when people tell her to keep it down.
Believes (wrongfully, mind you) that everyone else has at least a neutral relationship with her. Is completely unaware that some of the crew are absolutely terrified of her.
Says what she means and means what she says; rarely ever sugarcoats stuff, and hates needing to decipher other people when what they mean and what they say don’t intertwine.
Praise doesn’t really do anything for her. Obviously it’s nice to receive, but it doesn’t make her feel any better about the work she does. In that regard, she’s entirely self motivated.
She’s very prone to sleepwalking. She’s learned the hard way to cut herself off from her projects and actually go to bed after too many incidents of her wandering around in the lab, bumping into who knows what.
Fabricator
Gets mad easily, and stays mad for a really long time. The sort of person to shake with how visceral her anger is. ‘An eye for an eye’ is one of her daily affirmations, she is not above revenge in the slightest.
She enjoys the way that most people shrink away from her in fear, and plays up her unnerving demeanor just for the fun of it sometimes. However, sometimes people will be scared of her when she’s not even trying, and she will be completely oblivious as to why.
(It's like that scene in Bad Guys where they can’t even get a check for their meal because the staff are all cowering, so they just have to leave the cash on the counter. Waiters in the kitchen drawing straws trying to decide who’s gonna be forced to serve her)
Poison has been her special interest since before she was even working with Zor. Obviously, they’ve only fueled that fire of hers since.
Absolutely adores creatures that people would consider stereotypically terrifying, so long as they have aesthetic appeal. She’d wear a live snake around her neck like a feather boa. She baby talks to Zor’s scorpions. She takes design inspiration from tarantula coloration. You get me.
Speaks with her hands a lot. If you stand too close to her she’ll probably poke your eye out.

I ACCDITENTLY PUT MY NITARA HC OUT OF THE DRAFTS WHAT I DIDNT EVEN FINISHED WRITING 😭😭
dude this is what happens when you have shity internet Dx i know there was a option to edit but before i realize that i deleted the post 🔫 idc anymore i'm gonna write it again
how tf does this app work i'm sorry mutual who reposted my draftJDKS
ANYWAYS MY NITARA DELULU HC LETS GO
tw: death of a character, mentions of vomit
Tumblr media
• Remember Kahil? You know the vampire who once was user of the datusha/kriss and bc of it's power he kill most of the Vaeternus, moments later he commits suicide trapping the sword with him?
Well lets put more emotional damage and say this was a relative to Nitara, maybe a brother why not
(i rewatched the Nitara intros and her mother also died damn, that's rough buddy)
they had a really strong bond, so Nitara was broken and devastated by his brother's tragic end, and after a long time of grief, this "revelation" as she would say, came to mind. From this time she tries so hard to save her so no Vaeternus could face the fate of death
And you know, "trying" is a strong word, the coven at this point are kinda tired of her all the time visiting them and bringing her failed ideas
The coven are like: "yeah yeah you know why don't you go and try to take over outworld or something" as a joke just to get rid of her.
And she did go to Outworld so..
• Now, her voice... It's not the best, it's so monotone and she doesnt realize it
But now i can't stop thinking about her with a valley girl accent, the way she would say the word "like" repetitively in one sentence is insane
There were times when Havik just rip of his own ears to not hear her, she talks a lot
She likes to do monologues, i feel like it's normal for Vaeternus to have this... Theatrical way of speaking, that goes on and on
Nitara does not know how to lie, if you dig enough she would accidentally say the truth or let out her plans without knowing
• At first the interactions Nitara has with Rain were harsh but later he starts to understand the big problem that the Vaeternus were living in, so maybe these two will be allies in the future??? Please??
Tho at this point she is trying to persue ppl to help her cause, whether it's from the good guys or the bad guys, and not even god itself wants to make a solution to help the Vaeternus yeah she's fucked
With the fictional dead family i create around her it makes a little bit of sense when she's trying to make Smoke a vampire too, Nitara sees herself since the guy also lost his mom and sister
or instead he sees her brother in Smoke, which is kinda creepy and dark but thats how my girl copes <33 /j
• The Vaeternus have a way to go to Earthrealm from centuries ago, this could mean that the vampires have more noledge of human traditions, slangs and even technology than Outworld does
This can also includes Earthrealm pop culture, influencing the way they dress or act, there could be Vaeternus who moved to Earthrealm permanently, hiding in the shadows
Imagine miss girl tries to make chitchat with Havik, Darrius and Sareena making a Earthrealm references and everyone just look at her like "wtf r u talkin about?"
This is chronically online comunicating with normal people
Nitara finds Earthrealm movies about vampires fascinating by the way of how they portrayed her kind, bc sometimes those movies are so wrong and sometimes they are so accurate its scary
She finds the "familiar" character to be very useful, she will have it in mind and maybe find one of those to help her look for food and other plans
• There was a time when the vaeternus didnt need blood to maintain their survival (idk if it was on Liu Kang or Geras intros) and there was were other things they could have feed on, but little by little vampirism began to be part of their nature that it was impossible to change their ways, condemning their own species.
Trying to get back to a normal diet probably would take another millenia
And if they eat or drink something no blood related i imagine them vomiting A LOT and with a horrible stomach pain, not the best moment for a vampire
• Her eyes glow in the dark
Once Nitara tried to sleep upside down bc she saw it in one of those movies, and she find it so comfortable??? It's kinda embarrasing for her but she keeps sleeping on that position from now on
She's a failure, she's a loser, and i think that's beautiful
Yeah i don't have more to say, also

Spock / Nurse Christine Chapel - Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S2 Eps 6 & 7
Folks, the cross-over episode dropped, and I'm so fascinated by how much Spapel we got in it!
So, I'm going to combine these two since we had one very strong scene in 2x06, and several fascinating scenes in 2x07.
SPOILER ALERT: Like Boimler with the Future, I'm no good at keeping my mouth shut about what's going on. If you read this, it's at your own risk!
Ready to dive in? Let's play!
"Lost in Translation" AKA "Your Move"
"Your move." "I know."
Christina fiddles with the piece in her hand, plotting out her move. But Spock's already ahead of her and anxious for her to make a move.
Wow. Everything you need to know about the scene was set up in four spoken words.
Because Spock is now basking in the freedom of being with Christine. It's such a departure from Vulcan relationships where there are rituals and rules and procedures and requirements. But is it too far a departure to last?
And, duh, I understand that they're doomed. But from their perspective, they don't know that.
I also love the body language, here. Spock and Christine are facing off, leaning in toward one another. They are both fully engaged, but the game separates them.
Though they share the table, there are many moving pieces at play.
"Is that not a polite euphemism for 'make your move faster'?"
Now, if we're talking physical moves, Christine's got no problems with moving fast. But, if we're talking emotional? Whole n'other ballgame.
Christine responds to Spock's question by leaning forward, licking her lips, and quipping.
"Am I boring you, Mr. Spock?"
Ooohhh, I love this. I've always associated her use of "Mr. Spock" with her purposeful detachment and separation from Spock—a way to verbalize the space they must give one another.
This single use enriches every interaction going forward.
Using the reference of TOS, I truly thought it was always and only used as a phrase to denote the separation between them. But to hear those two words used in such a seductive manner does my heart good.
There are times those two words may seem innocuous to the outside world, but to these two are painful, beautiful, romantic, sexy... so many things!
"Decidedly not."
Well, I do declare! This Southern gal's gotta fan herself just from the delivery of that line. Seriously. This dude is whipped.
Spock has bedroom eyes. First we got tongue on the Bridge, then snogging in his Quarters, now eye-fucking in the Bar. Yeah, these two are coming along nicely.
Christine's glowing with those words, too. She's always enjoyed his attention and company, but now she knows the fullness of it. And, no, I wasn't going for a phallic reference, there, but now it's got no choice but to stay.
Christine's been fiddling with her piece, taking her time, dealing with her indecision. This scene says so much with so little words spoken.
Because Spock is a relationship guy. We all know that. Christine even knows that, and it's not what she wants. At least, not what she thinks she wants.
Because we've already seen that sometimes Christine doesn't know her own mind or heart.
Look how she's fiddling with the piece while she considers her move, how she's shifting in her seat, rocking back and forth. There's no clear path, here. It's all one step at a time for her, while Spock's got the board and pieces memorized so long as he moves are predictable.
Problem is, Christine's far from predictable.
"Your move."
This time, it's teasing. Christine meets his eyes, but before she can even return to the board, he continues.
"There is a matter I've been meaning to discuss." "Should I get a drink first? You sound serious."
She knows him. Anyone else listening in might've thought it was a casual thing, but Christine knows his inflections and intentions so well that she immediately clocks that he wants to discuss something heavy.
"You wanna tell Starfleet about this."
Watch how Christine deflates. Relationships are sticky. Relationships are messy. They're annoying, but she can handle it.
But throw in structure and formality? Christine's gonna bolt fast if you try to tie her down. That's her M.O. And a part of her knows she's not ready to bolt from Spock.
"If there is anything to tell."
I love this bit. This is such an echo of every time Christine has made space for him. He's learning from her, and finding comfort in more of his humanity through their shared time.
And this trait's a rather beautiful one to pick up, I think. He is speaking without expectation, even though we all know what he'd like to hear. He's making room for her to say whatever she is going to say. And that's important.
Christine makes a move while considering his words or avoiding them. It's hard to say. But, Spock's letting her know he wants an answer.
He counters her move.
"Your move."
He's not letting up, Christine. You gotta tell him something.
She places the piece she took on the table, letting her hand hover over it. The last move, he took a piece of hers. This time, she took a piece of his.
And while I'd argue relationships shouldn't be "taking" pieces of one another, I think that we bleed into one another through clear communication and love. Pieces of us are shared and safe-guarded by the other party.
Let me tell you, I've rarely seen my husband angry. He has a lot of patience. But when he hits his limits, it's usually been when someone was unjustly attacking me. He's a freakin' fierce protector in those moments.
Christine and Spock aren't to the point of "clear communication and love", yet (and may never be, if history holds), but they're definitely more than "friends with benefits", much as Christine might protest.
"Relationships... at least for humans, can be... quantum things."
She looking down, gathering his thoughts, but he's completely leaned in and engaged, focused on her.
And I love the body language, here, because they both have their arms crossed in front of them as protection. Christine's is a harder overlap to shore up her armor, but Spock's is still there. Some part of him recognizes she might break his heart.
"Think about Schrodinger's cat. They exist or they don't, they don't, depending on who's observing them." "That is-" "Not how quantum superposition actually works? *chuckles* Yeah, I know."
I love how evenly matched they are in this conversation. She understands him enough to know where his literal mind might be misinterpreting her signals.
And she doesn't get frustrated with him. She chuckles to herself, and redirects to ensure he understands her meaning.
I spend so much of my life doing this with my Middle son, and I hope someday he meets a partner as patient and understanding as Christine has demonstrated on this show.
"It's a metaphor, Spock. A messy one. Just like... whatever this is."
It's Spock's time to be deflating and suddenly become obsessed with the texture of the table. It's not the answer he'd hoped to hear. Because while he went into the conversation without expectation, he did go in with hope.
"My point is, if we let Starfleet, or anyone else, for that matter, look inside the box then..." "Our quantum... cat might disappear?"
I. Laughed. So. Hard. It's the delivery. The arched eyebrows on "cat" and how seriously he says it. It's so bloody brilliant, but it had me absolutely rolling.
"I'd just as soon let it live. See how big it grows."
And we're back to bedroom eyes. Because while it's not the answer he hoped to hear, she's not rejecting him. She doesn't want to end things. She simply wants to continue on without defining it.
And this has the potential to be so bad for both of them. But, at least she's being honest. That's part of her whole quest with this relationship, right? Be more honest?
"Your move."
She winks at him. Because she just set out the expectations and wants on his side. It's up to him to decide if he wants to continue as they are, or report them to Starfleet and risk losing it all, or whatever third option is likely to occur.
We don't see the pair of them together after this scene, but I think we have a really good idea of where they are—they want different things and they're pretending they don't.
I've been there. My first boyfriend wanted way different things than me. But, I really liked him and I wanted to stay with him. Until he cheated on me and it all spiraled really badly.
We have foreknowledge that Spock and Christine don't, so that filters the lens through which we view the scene.
But if we look strictly at their wants in this scene alone, it's clear they're trying to head in the same direction while not understanding one is looking through a microscope, and the other a telescope. Technically, the same direction... but not the same view.
"Those Old Scientists" AKA "Spock's in a Phase"
Let me say up top that I did not expect that much Spapel in the cross-over episode. I told Matthew as soon as it hit the app, and we made the kids watch with us. My Middle told me it was his favorite episode of Star Trek ever.
Also, I'll admit Spock's experimentation with humanity as seen via's Boimler's perspective was jarring. I was simply not expecting it, and I admit I cringed as much as Boimler.
And while it was super effective, a part of me wishes we could've seen it from Christine and Spock's perspective (or anyone who wasn't seriously weirded out by it).
And, yes, this was all used as an illustrative tool to show that our visions of our heroes often differ greatly from the actuality, especially if we try to capture the whole of their lives based on a single point in time. Star Trek: First Contact investigates this concept extensively.
But in the microcosm of Spapel, it'd be fun to investigate what Christine thinks of Spock's increased leaning into his humanity, and even what Spock thinks of it.
Christine Spots Spock
I love how she spots him from across the room and immediately has to excuse herself.
"I have to go."
As soon as Christine says it, Erica looks over her shoulder to see where her friend's headed.
Spock is beaming when he sees her. Oh my goodness, he's so happy. This time (and I didn't remember this initial shot from my first viewing since I was doing it with a 5-year-old crawling over my lap and two 8-year-olds asking repeated questions), the shot is quite lovely!
Christine's striding over to her man, and she's so bloody happy to see him, too. Of course, it's the setup for the heartache to come, but I kinda wish we could bottle this moment where they both feel so damn content with who they are with one another.
"All I know is where I come from, he is legendary for never smiling, laughing, definitely no joking. And that Spock goes on to do really important things that I very much need to have not messed up."
Oh, Boimler. He's let La'an's words get into his head (because he takes the letter of rule so bloody seriously) and now he's unloading on an unsuspecting Christine.
"I'm worried because I made Spock laugh. And I keep wondering, is that a butterfly effect? 'Cause the Spock I know shouldn't have done that." "Maybe he's just... going through a thing. Like, having fun." "No, but I've read every book about Spock and they-they mention his upbringing on Vulcan, his pet sehlat, his relationship with his mom and dad, but nothing about a happy, smiley, jokey guy, period." "Just stop. Stop, stop, stop."
Boimler has no idea how to keep his mouth shut... or the pain he's inflicting. Because Christine now knows she doesn't make any of the Spock history books. They don't make it.
And. That. Hurts. Much as Christine doesn't see herself as a "relationship" person, she's already crossing so many lines with Spock. Some she may notice and brush off, but others I doubt she's aware of, yet.
Spock is on her ship. We know with Dever the last thing she wanted to do was transfer to his ship. She and Spock actually linger in public together and hang out, play games, chat.
They're not just shacking up and only shacking up. There's a relationship at play, here—a give-and-take.
"None of this is your fault, okay. Spock was acting like this before you arrived."
Excuse me? Excuse me!? He wasn't doing it last episode, so how long has this bloody relationship been going on?!
"Oh, thank God. So this is, what, this is just, like, a phase? And-and, he'll get over it and back to his, like, serious, real self soon?"
I think it's "just a phase" that crushed her. Look at the tears in her eyes. Because, deep down, she doesn't want this to be "just a phase" for either of them.
But, as far as history knows, they never existed. That is what Boimler just told her. Not that she's a footnote in Spock's history. Not that they burned out. They. Never. Existed.
And that's what she wanted last week, right? To keep Starfleet and everyone else out of it? But is that what she really wants? I would argue Christine doesn't know what she wants.
But this hurts like hell.
"Oh. You're the one who's been influencing him, not me. I-I shouldn't have said anything."
He regrets it. He regrets everything. But, it's too late. He can't take it back.
And her realization that he's put two-and-two together is so... her. She's almost embarrassed he knows, because she doesn't want anyone to know.
Although I'm sure all her besties know... they're simply too polite to say anything (most of the time... I'm looking at you, Erica).
"No. It's, it's fine. I never assumed that I would... get to influence him forever, anyway."
She start off fine, but by the end of the sentence, she's tearing up, again. She looks away.
"Don't even want that."
That's right, Christine. Keep telling yourself that. And, I gotta offer mad props to Jess Bush, as usual, because he inflection is everything on this.
Some folks get a line and look at it, and they give one read that's flat without emphasis, or the emphasis is in a predictable spot. From the beginning, I've noted how creative Jess Bush is in her choices, and I'm just so blown away by her.
She took a character that wasn't really my favorite (I was a McCoy gal) and turned her into my favorite character of Strange New Worlds.
And, yes, I fully credit the Writers (go WGA!) with the blueprint presented to her. But, I'm mad impressed with her performance every episode. It's so nuanced and alive.
When Boimler leaves, she's alone with her thoughts. And while she's been telling herself for so long that it's not what she wants, it sucks to feel like the option doesn't even exist anymore.
With Schrodinger's cat, the not knowing is part of it, right? Now, she knows.
And, y'know, I'd like to also point out that history books don't know everything. I'm writing a script based on my grandparents. Trust me, there's a lot that's not going on the page for a variety of reasons.
I once heard the expression, "History is written by the victor". And, it's true. So much of history is omitted from what we know.
A few years ago, one of the books I homeschooled my children with was about Black soldiers during the Revolutionary War who defected to the English side. This is our national history of which I was entirely unaware.
We're still discovering more history all the time that was omitted or hidden. Which feeds into my prediction that, perhaps, there's a logical reason why Spock and Christine erased themselves from each other's lives.
I won't get into my predictions in the middle of the Meta, but skip to the end if you want my (completely uninformed) thoughts.
"Ensign Boimler, Nurse Chapel told me about your exchange."
Oh, shit. But, seriously, I'm so proud of my girl, Christine, for talking to her not-boyfriend.
Go with me, here: What is something Christine sucks at? Communication. She just isn't the best, especially at communicating her own wants and needs. Erica pointed it out to her with Devers, and also tried to help guide her towards trying to be better.
Christine, despite finding out they're doomed, communicated with Spock. I'm so bloody proud.
"She did not go into detail, but it was easy to extrapolate that there was something you told her about my future. Perhaps, I should know." "Nah."
Boimler is trying so hard not to do anymore damage.
But was this always supposed to happen? Look, most time-travel episodes change the past or try not to change the past. But, in this case, I'd argue these events were necessary, in a cyclical manner.
I mean, Pike would've gone in guns blazin' with the Orions if not for Boimler. It might've seemed revisionist, at first, but then it came around at the end to be exactly what needed to happen.
"It does not take an expert observer to recognize that my experiments in human emotion trouble you. Therefore, I must surmise my future state, the one you are familiar with, must be one in which my emotions are minimized." "Must you surmise that?"
Boimler is begging him to stop understanding him. Which is bloody hilarious, because Boimler would honestly prefer for Spock not to be so damn observational and rational and good as suppositions.
"But you did say something to Christine that upset her."
There it is. He hasn't referred to her as Christine on-screen since he was fully human. And I know it's a little thing, but I'm grateful it's here. Because we know, now, without a doubt, that he's truly concerned about her.
He drops the professionalism in that sentence. He's speaking as a concerned not-boyfriend, and it's so heartbreaking knowing it all ends in tears.
Am I hoping at least there's a satisfying reason besides, "You're meant to be something else, so we're doomed, so I'm going to be Korby's research assistant because he personally invited me"? Golly, yes. But, that's up to the writers, and I'm along for the ride.
"Look, all I said was that I'm surprised that you're so... human. Yes, the universe needs Vulcan Spock if everything that I know happens... happens." "And yet I have no choice but to stay true to the path I have chosen in this time. If you sway me, then my future will have been altered. Is that not logical?" "Unfortunately, it is."
That isn't all you said, Boimler. But, I love this peek into Spock's mindset. He's going to see this through. Whereas Christine is now feeling unsteady, Spock is more resolved than ever.
They are such very different people, but that can be sensational relationally, as well. My husband and I intersect in interest and temperament in some ways, and diverge greatly in others. It definitely keeps things interesting.
But until Christine and Spock are clearly communicating, their differences remain possibilities for upheaval.
"Do you feel lucky?"
Well? Do ya, punk? I mean, has Christine introduced Spock to Dirty Harry? Or did he pick that one up at movie night?
SIDE NOTE: I love just how many series of Star Trek have a movie night... as if a subtle reminder that even as technology changes and morphs, we still love to return to a good picture show for entertainment and comfort.
While this isn't Spapel-related, I have to call out that I loved them referencing Enterprise, the show. While neither of my favorite characters got a mention (Trip/T'Pol), it's good to see the acknowledgement and the connection.
That whole scene of turning the current Enterprise crew into super fans talking about their heroes was so well done. A reminder that none of us is immune to a little hero worship and awe... and that it's not a bad thing.
We simply need to remember that these people are still people, and that even if we've read every book available, we still don't know their whole story. Some things don't make the history books.
At the end of the episode, they're all animated, and I have to applaud whoever picked up on the fact that Christine does not know how to sit in a chair normally. I mean, in "Lost in Translation" she had one hand between her legs while swiveling at the table.
It's a small detail, but I immediately cheered when I saw it because the characterization was on point.
Alright, before I talk about Future Spock and Christine, I need to address something that really got me: Boimler and Mariner talking to Pike about his birthday.
My father has already lived past his father's age at death. My mother has lived past her mother's, and next year will live past her father's. It's poignant.
But I also love how Boimler points out that the regret Pike feels might be shared by those who love him.
Now, I don't think anyone should be convinced out of doing something that brings them joy, but I am glad they helped steer him toward community. As we saw last Meta, connection is one of Starfleet's greatest gifts.
And having just lost Cheryl a month ago, I'm thinking about how I really treasure all our little moments, even as she was reaching the end. Connection is such a powerful thing.
Also, I genuinely teared up at the Orion Scientist finding out they'd attribute the discovery to him. There is so much prejudice in this world where one sector of a society does something unsavory, and suddenly anyone belonging to that society is seen as undesirable.
It's bullshit, and it needs to stop. Because assumptions like that can literally get people killed. And to see that Orion watch as a man of Starfleet chose to see them for who they were, and was even willing to help write the history that would tell their truth... that was powerful.
Now, let's talk Future Spock and Chapel.
WARNING: Will contain spoilers for the episode AFTER next based on the promo!!
I think it's going to either completely unravel, or start to badly deteriorate next episode. My prediction is that Christine publishes her paper and Korby is so impressed he invites her to Vulcan not as a student, but as his research assistant.
This allows us to stay very close to canon without making it a creepy teacher/student relationship.
Also, I think she's going to find out she's in and sing a big heart song (thank you Zoey's Extraodinary Playlist) about it, but Spock's going to overhear something she never meant to say.
There might be a sad duet sung by the two of them, either in separate rooms, or together. But, we're heading towards a breakdown, in my opinion.
And while I'm sad to see it, it's inevitable, right? Unless they rewrite canon or give us some sneaky way these two reunited in their old age, we know how this story goes.
Whether we'll see them together in Season 3 remains to be seen, of course, but I really hope so.
Why? Because I like to imagine the reason they stay apart is because they're protecting someone or each other... that it was a shared and conscious decision by both of them to do what was necessary for the greater good.
Not because they didn't love one another (though I don't think Christine will admit it until TOS), but because they had to make a hard sacrifice.
That's so bloody Star Trek—people making sacrifices for the greater good.
Yes, I'd love to see these two crazy kids sort it out... but that's not their story. Are there a million possibilities out there that canon could support? Heck, yeah! It can still be a compelling story, even if it's a tragedy.
Think about Shakespeare. All those folks turning out to see his tragedies as much as his comedies—because the stories he told moved people.
Christine and Spock, you beautiful, doomed dears. I wish you much happiness, though I know it won't be possible the way you might've hoped.

QUARTER FINALS, MATCH 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda under the cut! (tw rape)
Laito Sakamaki
Propaganda
I really could've picked any of the boys from that series really but this dude literally keeps referring to the MC as little bitch. Also, asshole wears a fedora. The fact he made the most datable poll astounds me
He's not a nice man with Yui (the protagonist) and even do some deplorable things with her when she SAYS she doesn't want to. He has a sobbing backstory and uses that to do whatever he wants. He should go to a psychiatrist. In jail.
He is a rapist! In both the anime and the games, he sexually harasses Yui. I can't remember if it was more explicit in the games, but there was a cutaway scene in the church Yui grew up in where he forces himself on her. Like the other vampire brothers, he enjoys causing her pain and suffering, and he particularly likes playing mind games with her along with his usual shit. Canonically, Yui is just the last girl in a very, very long line of "sacrificial brides" who the brothers all ended up killing in one way or another. Laito may look and act like a teenager, but he's an immortal vampire and he knows what he's doing.
This man repeatedly assaults the protagonist (Yui) because he wants to "taint" her. At first he only strips her and touches her only laughing when she says no because "well what a perverted woman, why aren't you being honest with yourself" and it's implied that he rapes her. There's a scene where Yui contemplate suicide (keep in mind she's religious and try to keep her faith even while abused so it's a big deal) because she can't take it anymore, and then Laito shows up in her bath and makes her harm herself. He humiliates her in public. He's just horrible. His excuse is that his mother abused him and he convinced himself he liked it and he loved her. At the end of his route Yui is totally broken in my opinion, convinced she is tainted now and losing her faith in god. Granted he isn't the worst of his brothers but this man is definitely undatable. While he softens in later games, this man is horrible.
Peter King
Propaganda
Oh I could go ON AND ON but here’s a list: He’s a stalker, he showed up late to a date HE REQUESTED, he killed either your landlord, roommate, or coworker (depending on route) and stuck them in a freezer, lied to the police about it, followed by a car ride either consisting of traumadumping about his family (valid tbh) or him talking about how much he wants to fuck your brains out, then you finding a bloody knife in his glove compartment, asking about it, and him smashing your head into the window to shut you up while he takes you to his house. He is The Worse Datable, as well as The Only Datable because well…he killed the others…and kidnapped you….
FUCK THIS DUDE!!! Country Human looking-ass bitch, I want him dead and obliterated
Many violence, Yandere behavior, cut your leg off in a semi-canon series of illustrations, smashed your head into the passenger side window of his creepy van, chloroformed you in your own house, brought you flowers that were probably tainted with his own blood, given context from another route. Generally a terrible person. Also just very strange to look at :/
He knows what he did….😒
He broke into Y/N’s house and chloroformed them. Generally a really creepy and perverted guy. TK is better :/
Send that man to Worst Datable Hell! Put him in the trash file (he’s a pseudo-sentient AI, similar to Monika, so this threat is valid)! He sometimes looks like a kicked puppy when talking to you, but with your small contributions, we can make him look even more like a kicked puppy! Vote Peter King for Worst Datable Datable Character today! Bonus: Funny canon facts about him! - He can’t swim - He’s allergic to peanuts - He has to wear glasses, but usually wears contacts - He had an emo/goth phase in high school - He’s a YouTuber; he does product reviews - He has very strong mother issues (understandably) - He will respond to and greatly enjoy the nickname “Cockbite” (there are many other names he enjoys, but this one’s the funniest to me)

An Alternate UnderSwap
An alternate take on UnderSwap
Frisk swaps with MK. Frisk is a human disguised as a monster. MK is a half human half monster (idk)
Chara swaps with Asriel. Chara is still the first fallen human but their soul controls a rose and they go by Rosie and with enough souls they can recreate their old body. Asriel was able to become a ghost with his determination and guides MK
Toriel swaps with River Person. Toriel ran away after Asgore disappeared and hides on the river. She wears a hood but it doesn't conceal her identity too well. River Person now goes by her true name Arial. She still has a shadowy face but it's in the shape of a skull. She was the former wife of Gaster but when he took the mantle of king and made their children part of the Royal Family she didn't think she could handle the responsibility of a queen. Her shadowy face is a result of an experiment done by her and Gaster. It doesn't hurt or anything just a mild annoyance
Napstablook swaps with Training Dummy. Napstablook posseses a punching bag esque training dummy and is rather passive and shy. Training Dummy is really bland and desires companionship. Very vanilla boring dude and is a writer but always writes bland uninteresting stories.
Sans swaps with Alphys. Sans is the Royal scientist hired by his dad Gaster. He feels like he didn't really earn his position but plays along nonetheless. He's studying quantum physics and is on the brink of discovering resets. He's a chill laid-back guy outside his lab and usually wears a lab coat, slippers, underwear, and shirts with science puns. Alphys is the former royal scientist who quit to live with Undyne in Snowdin after Undyne had trouble adapting to Hotland. Alphys isn't particularly interested in science anymore. She blames herself over every mistake. Instead of making puns she makes obnoxious pop culture references and wears a faded Mew Mew Kissy Cutie shirt that's 2 sizes too big.
Undyne swaps with Papyrus. Undyne never joined the Royal Guard but aspires to but Papyrus is hesitant to let her join because she has trouble controlling her emotions. She's brash and quick to fight but Alphys insists that she must use puzzles on the human first to avoid damaging them too much. She doesn't really like puzzles so usually she has Alphys make them. She prefers to cook ravioli but also likes spaghetti. Papyrus was named Captain of the Royal Guard by his dad. He sometimes feels as if he's not the best man for the job as he prefers pacifism and thinks that some other guard are better fighters but still appreciates the attention he gets as the captain. He is always ready for a scrap and is eager to fight but not actually hurt his foe. He wants to be taken seriously but is just a bit too goofy. He eventually gets fed up of chasing you and initiates the battle. He's one of the more determined monsters.
Temmie swaps with the Annoying Dog. Temmie is a weird cat dog thing that likes stealing things and annoying Undyne. She's alot stronger than she looks. Annoying Dog is a "Cool Dude" who runs a shop for charity donations in Waterfall. He'll eat anything and everything. He speaks in a nineties style.
Snowdin Shopkeeper swaps with Gerson. Bunnie (as shes known as) is the former captain of the Royal Guard. She was known as the sword of justice and taught Papyrus everything he knows. She retired early to raise her family. Gerson is an old tycoon. He sells weaponry for the Royal Guard and personal friend of Undyne.
Nice Cream Guy swaps with Grillby. Nice Cream Guy serves ice cream Goofy Goobers style and his homemade chocolate syrup is a personal favorite of Alphys so much that she drink it without anything else. He's a bit in over his head though as his parlor only got popular recently after Alphys added heaters around Snowdin. Grillby runs a small food truck for fast food. He travels the underground looking for buisness and always knows to stock Sans up with ketchup and hotdogs as Sans always orders way too much.
Mad Dummy and Mew Mew swap with Mettaton. Mad Dummy is now called Maddaton and was given a body by Sans who used the scrap pieces from Alphys old machine and at first they only hade one form their Boxer form but Sans gives them an upgraded TRANS form after she comes out as trans and this form was an old mech Sans found in Alphys old lab. Mettaton is a ghost possessed a metal training dummy that is overprotective of their cousin but is less mad and more over dramatic. He later posseses a masculine anime robot that sans was making as a gift for Alphys but he threw out after he found out that she is into a different anime. He adores this body and thinks that it's the real him.
Muffet swaps with So Sorry. Muffet runs an art club for spiders and isnt a very good artist (she's still a kid though so lay off). She also has a large sweet tooth. So Sorry reveals his true name as Hatter. (Every swap I make with Muffet ends up being the Mad Hatter but this one makes the most sense because he has his association with hats). He likes to make food art. Its all in the presentation. But he needs funds to help continue his passion and was paid a high amount of money to exterminate you.
Burgerpants swaps with Bratty and Catty. B&C are the very grumpy employees of Madatton and aren't very good at their jobs. They take their anger out by being passive aggressive to their customers and pretending not to be able to do their job....though their act isn't too far from if they actually tried. BP is a cool dude hanging out in the alleyway who totally doesn't sell drugs (you're not a cop are you). He's unemployed an kinda a hippie. He refuses to "work for the man and be another cog in the machine"
Gaster swaps with Asgore. On the day of his children's deaths Asgore was no where to be found. It seems that when he tried to absorb one of Alphys attempts of an artificial soul and it destroyed his body. Now he's all alone.... Gaster is the king who took over after the disappearance of Asgore. He aims to steal seven human souls and use them to become a god. And he doesn't care what he has to do to achieve that goal.

I watched Elvira: Mistress of the Dark [free on the YouTube] ! I wasn’t really familiar with her, other than references, but it was pretty cool and funny I thought
– At first, her goals seemed to align with the villains’ [she wanted to leave, she didn’t mind selling the book] so it was like, Dude ! Where’s the conflict ?
– Did she k-ll that gas station guy at the beginning?! Sheesh! I know, God forbid women do anything…
– Some of those guys weren’t very nice to Elvira : [
– Is that what she does; talk over movies? I’d have mixed feelings about that ! Well, I guess it’d be like listening to a DVD commentary. Maybe I should give it a try sometime
– I figured she’d get those h-rny teens to help [come to the theatre]. The way she did it was a little manipulative though
– A fun, hot, spooky gentlewomen in a town full of SQUARES…brought the Addams Family to mind! I suppose everyone has their own ideas, of the ideal community
– I thought she would influence that one girl to be more herself, in some way
– Elvira tied up! <3 But, not in a fun way. : [ How will she get out of this one?!
– I thought she was gonna end up falling in love with the town and staying there in the end. Not sure why the townsfolk kinda did a 180 in the end, in their perception of her? She didn’t really save THEM from Grunkle Vincent…did she…? Well I guess she must’ve turned them back from Pigs
– I feel like some of the lines were meant as innuendo. About Boobs, etc.

TWCFM Episode 2 Thoughts
This episode wasn't as good as the first episode, but I still liked it.
Enter, Daisuke Jigen!!!
Tumblr media
it's kind of hard to explain stuff that happens in this episode without giving at least some context, so this one will be longer than my post about episode 1.
You can see my thoughts on episode 1 here.
There are spoilers, so click keep reading if you want to continue
(TW// Also warning, there is mention of suicide in this episode)
Jigen kind of looks like he's in a different art style then the rest of them in this show. I feel like the art for him in the character expression and reference sheets looked more like manga Jigen then he ended up looking in the actual show.
Tumblr media
Anyways this episode has Fujiko immediately do something dumb for money 🤣
She is at this casino, and is cheating at roulette and is constantly winning money, so the owner Cicciolina walks up and plays against Fujiko and bets the entire casino, meanwhile Fujiko bets herself and somehow thinks she is going to win... *facepalm*
THIS SET UP WAS SO OBVIOUS!!!
Like no owner is betting their entire business if they aren't 100% certain that they are going to win, especially if that business is a casino in Monaco. And as expected, the dude spinning the roulette cheats in the owner's favor, and Fujiko loses.
Tumblr media
So the lady that owns the casino tells Fujiko that she will let her go if she completes a mission for her. She wants Fujiko to steal Jigen's gun and give it to her, then stick around till everything is done. One of the mobsters that work for Cicciolina tells Fujiko that Jigen killed the former boss while he was working as his body guard, and that the current boss Cicciolina is the former's widow.
Like Fujiko was legit worried about trying to rob from a renowned hitman, but Cicciolina was just like...
Cicciolina: "Eh, he has a weakness for women, you'll be fine!"
Like... Unless you consider women coming out of the woodworks to try to kill or rob him "a weakness for women", then you are waaaaay off the mark Cicciolina, he will literally shoot you and move on if you try to take him down...
*and yes that was foreshadowing*
Tumblr media
Anyways Fujiko goes and becomes the girlfriend of the old guy who Jigen is currently employed by (it's Chin-Chin from part 2, actually he might have been in Part 1 too, and a movie). Jigen is working as the old guy's body guard, and is suspicious of Fujiko, as he should be... especially considering he notices that she is carrying a giant knife around in her skirt...
Yeah Fujiko, most people don't do that...
Tumblr media
So in order to steal Jigen's gun, Fujiko tries to seduce Jigen... *facepalm*... and of course she fails miserably at it... I think we all know why that never had a possibility of working.
Tumblr media
And yes, he even says this in the episode after her first failed attempt at flirting with him.
Tumblr media
To anyone who hasn't seen Lupin before or that doesn't know what "onnagirai" means, the literal meaning of the characters used in the word mean "woman hater", but it's super old timey slang for saying "I'm gay", but since the 2010's it's been used as slang for "incell".
But it is also heavily implied in this franchise that Jigen is gay, or sometimes even bi with a preference for guys depending on the writer. And because of the writers constantly changing, he's been in the closet in some seasons, and out of the closet in others, and then back in the closet in the next season. Basically he's been going in and out of the closet for over 50 years now.
Tumblr media
So, back on topic, because that plan failed (no duh), Fujiko then proceeded to forcefully kiss Jigen and slipped a knock out drug in his mouth, and then she stole his gun... Oh yeah, and she also told him where to go for a duel if he wants his gun back.
A good chunk of this episode is just Fujiko flashing and harassing Jigen, meanwhile Jigen is just forced to be there even if though he want's to leave because his boss want's him to guard her too.
So right before Fujiko knocks Jigen out, Fujiko asks him about the Casino owners husband and why he killed him, then he has a flashback.
Tumblr media
Cicciolina was the wife of the former boss. While Jigen was hired as the boss's body guard, he instructed him to also watch out for his wife since she had attempted to kill herself multiple times.
Jigen asks why she is suicidal and if anthing is making her sad or something, but her husband is just like...
Husband: "Hell if I know, but if you just hang out with her and I'm sure you'll understand her, I mean you're a hitman, hitmen have sad lives don't they?"
Husband of the year everyone *Facepalm*
Tumblr media
Anyways Cicciolina has an affair on her husband with Jigen, so at this point you know she is going to be evil and try to kill Jigen.
Jigen's Evil Ex Confirmed!
Then they even do *you know what*, while inside a coffin... WHAT!??
Cicciolina's husband found out that she was cheating on him with Jigen, and threatens to kill Jigen, so she shoots him to protect Jigen, and Jigen takes the fall for her.
So you might ask, why does she want to fight Jigen if he didn't kill her husband?
So Jigen meets Cicciolina at the location of the duel and is like...
Jigen: "Why are we even doing this??
Cicciolina: "You know!"
Jigen: "No, I really don't"
And then Cicciolina's men bust in through the windows, and one of them randomly shouts...
Penne: "Hah hah! Jigen, you thought Cicciolina liked you, but she was also dating me all along, Ha haaaaah!
Like no one cares dude, you know how long it's been since they have even seen each other, plus he doesn't even know you, and plus she is trying to kill him! Also why is the Italian dude named after pasta...? *facepalm*
Jigen of course was so confused about what was even going on.
Anyways, a gun fight breaks out while Fujiko watches, and Jigen shoots all of the bad guys, including Cicciolina.
Jigen rushes to pick up Cicciolina as she falls after getting shot by him, and then she is like...
Cicciolina: "Yes finally!!! You know I really wanted you to shoot me, now I can finally go, Bye!"
Fujiko: "Well that was... something... But at least I can go home now!"
Jigen: "...??? Yeah, I still don't understand her... I feel like understand even less now???"
So I didn't get it either, so I looked it up...
Apparently the reason why Cicciolina constantly tried to kill herself despite not being depressed, sad, stressed, traumatized or anything like that, and why she wanted to do *you know what* in a coffin, is all because she has a death fetish... Like what...??? That's an actual thing!??
Yeah Jigen, I'm with you, I don't understand, and I don't think I ever will...
Tumblr media
So in the end Jigen and Fujiko bury Cicciolina, and before leaving Fujiko asks if he's going off to his next hitman/body guard job. Jigen tells her that he's too emotional to continue that line of work, and that he thinks he's going to try doing the pro thief thing like she does and see how it works out.
Fujiko offers to let him join her on her escapades, but he is literally like...
Jigen: "Are you kidding? Yeah right, working with you is the last thing I'd ever do."
Never say never Jigen!
This episode wasn't as fun or silly as the first one, but considering this is a "Jigen Vs His Evil Ex" episode, I didn't expect it to be.
Also, apparently Cicciolina is named after the stage name of a former Hungarian-Italian porn star and singer, turned politician, turned pro chess player... Interesting... I definitely was not expecting that.
I wasn't expecting this to turn into a full fledged review like it did, but I don't mind it, it was fun writing all of this out!
Well until episode 3! I'm looking forward to seeing the Goemon episode!!!

outside the restaurant, there is
like
what if yosuke hanamura never realized he was an asshole and just grew up into a fucking Super Asshole and full blown sexist and thought wearing rose-tinted glasses was cool
i wonder if the rose-tinted glasses are purposeful, that seems like a very specific design choice, but I have no idea if that cultural touchpoint would exist in Japan as well. I'm going to continue eyeing is suspiciously.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bro, I think Haru exclusively reads horticultural books and horror novels. I don't think she is your target audience.
That said, this fucking move of getting down on a knee to proffer up a book is incredibly over the top and dramatique, what is with this guy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
B R U H no. Haru will kill you. Don't do this. Trust me, I am doing you a solid, you don't wanna go through with this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is very kind of the boys though. Don't stand by while a dude pulls this shit.
That said, Haru could def kill this guy. I mean, it might be a tiny scandal for Okumura Foods but what else is new.
Tumblr media
aaaaand we found our new Monarch clearly.
Tumblr media
THE INSIDE OF THE CAMPER.... is kinda cute, I see what they meant about the 50s diner vibes, that's..... kind of really cute and frankly WAY better than what I imagine when I think of campers, which tends to be shitty faux-wood and bad linoleum or carpeting.
Futaba squeezing herself up onto the storage rack is really just a vibe too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's a light novelist, huh. I dunno how accurate it is, but I consider that a mix of manga and YA? Like, not necessarily written for younger audiences but written to be very digestible? And sometimes have interspersed illustrations? Good foundation for weird experimental shit but is very Genre.
Tumblr media
what the fuck don't touch fucking cosplayers /horror
Tumblr media
So there is tons of discussion and praise for Natsume online but it's all coming from Sendai.
Is he a local sensation? Like, there's already been ambient dialogue about people buying multiple copies of the book. How many of his million copies are the same people.... or is he going from city to city to spread the influence of his Jail?
HUH! Sidebar: If you have a Jail but you go to another location, does the Jail go with you or do you make another Jail? We've already established that once a Monarch is removed, the Jail remains in the Metaverse.
HMMMMM. That sounds like an interesting thread to pull but IDK if the game will play with it.
Tumblr media
are they really going to keep calling him Gramps, he doesn't even give old vibes like Sojiro
also he's a grown-ass man, it's rude to keep referring to him by a nickname like that! the audacity!
Tumblr media
are they serious
Tumblr media
hey yusuke have you considered therapy? not maruki but like actual therapy?
earlier before we left, i missed the cap, but Futaba was reminding Yusuke his snack budget was 500 yen and he was like "but my rock salt" and I continue to be, like, SO concerned about Yusuke Kitagawa.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
REVERIE LITERALLY PUMPS HIS FIST AS HE REPLIES TO RYUJI, L M A O.
Sleep is great, I say as someone who is going to bed the moment I hit post on this blog entry.
Tumblr media
ANN FUCKING PUNCHES THE SIDE OF THE CAMPER AND TELLS THEM ALL okay ryuji bc ryuji was speaking in his normal volume which is outdoor voice for everyone else TO SHUT THE FUCK UP SO THEY CAN SLEEP.
Tumblr media
FINALLY i can look around Sendai without Morgana shooing me back to the camper to continue the plot. AT LAST.
but i got work tomorrow so i gotta sleep, alas.
