I am so so so proud of my baby right now.

So, some of you may know my baby, Spud, the reason I walk this earth, can be a bit of a scaredy-cat.

Well, today we went out for outside enrichment time, and he braved the noise of someone vacuuming their vehicle down the street, someone weed-whacking their lawn, and cars driving by. He nibbled on his grass and stuck close to me.

It was a little too much when one of our apartment neighbours came outside, and then he ran, which I don't blame him for. The leash slipped out of my fingers and I panicked because I thought we were about to get a repeat of Easter Sunday (when he rabbit-kicked his harness off and ran away for a couple hours) but he just ran down the sidewalk right to our door (the apartment units all open directly to the outside) and then stopped there and waited for me to catch up and open it. Then, as he has started learning to do, he ran inside and waited for me in our entry way, and stood so still while I undid the harness.

I'm just...I'm so proud of him. He's such a good kitty. Best Boy. My little prince.
