We live in a world where everyone wants to be perfect. Scared to be flawed because of what others may think, say or view them. We have women who want to manufacture everything about them to fit in. We have men who think they must be tall, in shape and have money to fit society standards. This has to 🛑 we are all imperfect people but perfect in our unique way. God made no mistakes with any of us but for some reason we think he did. Some feel they will never find love or be accepted. This is totally false! “Return to your body” Is a very powerful statement since society tells you at a young age that it isn’t ok to be yourself and embrace you for being you. From our single aged years  (Age 1 to 9 ) and double aged years (Age 10 to 100 ) we have society chipping away at our self consciousness by enforcing societal views upon us by dictating our behaviors ( Social, Family , Sexuality, Religion , Identity and everything in between ) . Many people need to learn and acknowledge these cancerous types of behaviors. From the start , societal standards are poison to a child’s mind which limits their creativity and dreams which alters their behavior from that moment to adulthood. I have seen and still see grown adults struggling with many of these societal rules that create more problems than not. I’ve come under pressures of society myself because i refuse to conform like many have and i’ve learn to break free and “ return to my body “ and follow my own compass. Also I learned that you can not keep people around that are still in society’s mindset and comfortable with outside control . It is toxic to you and inhibits your growth. I wasn't going to post this on here, because I'm still dealing with things about myself, but I'm gonna breathe and just do it. I Found this dress in one of my boxes while moving. I have mixed emotions about it. I hated wearing dresses, I wore them anyway because it was expected of me. This dress symbolizes so many things. Society telling us what to wear, the white almost like a new beginning even though I was told to wear white which I'm never comfortable in... And just over all growth. I had to wear this dress 10 years ago now for graduation, and if I looked like this back then, and was told to wear this, I'd be slightly more comfortable in it with this body. This is just showing how far I've come in 10 years. you told me I was a masterpiece that deserved to be recognized but I never understood how you could portray me as something so depressingly beautiful when I was nothing but splatters of blues and greens across a blank white canvas and there you were telling me I was magnificent artwork all while you held a paintbrush and made my unique splatters into an acceptable beauty so everyone else would see me as alluring except it wasn’t the way I wanted to be seen it was how you wanted me to be.

I tend to glance in mirrors a lot, not because I'm vain but because if I look to long my brain starts to pick out all the flaws and everything that's wrong. So I would rather just have a glance and think that I'm looking good than looking for a long time and having it all ruined.
