In Hellenistic astrology the 6th house is referred to the “place of bad fortune”, connected to disease and decline in vitality. Here it’s more associated with hardships and illness than daily routines and activities. This is due to it being twelve houses away from the 7th house, which would mean imprisonment to significant commitments, like our health and vitality.
It represents the challenges that arise when our creative and romantic aspirations meet reality. By addressing the issues related to health, routines, and service we can transform the challenges here into opportunities.

Aries Midheaven:
you’re such a competitive individual and an innovator, you’re not afraid of taking risks and being bold. It’s hard for you to depend on other people, you need to be your own leader when it comes to your career. The perfect career path involves a lot of action and dynamism, following every day the same routine is not something that appeals you. As a driven individual, you thrive on challenges and are always seeking new opportunities to grow and learn. You have a natural ability to think outside of the box and come up with innovative solutions to problems. You're not afraid to take risks and push yourself outside of your comfort zone, because you know that's where growth happens. When it comes to your career, you're not content with simply following the crowd. You need to be in control of your own destiny and chart your own path. You have a strong sense of purpose and direction, and you're not afraid to pursue your dreams with relentless determination. The perfect career for you is one that allows you to constantly evolve and adapt. You need to be challenged, stimulated, and engaged in your work on a daily basis. With your competitive spirit and innovative mindset, you're sure to make a real impact in whatever career path you choose
Taurus Midheaven:
Your top priorities are stability, enjoying life and being creative. You prefer to approach your career methodically, following a routine is not something that bothers you. You have amazing taste and expressing your creativity is very important for you. You might enjoy a career path that involves aesthetics and creativity, you might also enjoy a job that revolves around food (you might be a great chef). You should choose a career that aligns with your priorities and natural abilities, for example, exploring opportunities in the creative arts. You could pursue a career as a graphic designer, interior decorator, or fashion designer. Alternatively, you may find fulfillment in the culinary arts, either as a chef or food stylist. Whatever path you choose, be sure to focus on finding a work-life balance that allows you to enjoy the stability and creative expression that you value most. Remember, the most fulfilling career is one that brings you joy and satisfaction in all aspects of your life.
Gemini Midheaven:
You’re such a curious and multitalented individual, you might enjoy exploring multiple career paths during your lifetime. You’re talented when it comes to communications, media, journalism and anything that’s connected with writing. Routine is something that annoys you, you should choose a career path that involves a variety of activities. You’re also extremely expressive, you might be a talented actor. There are many career options that could suit your unique set of skills and interests. You should also consider pursuing a career in public relations or marketing because these fields often involve a mix of writing, communication, and creativity. Another option to consider is working in the entertainment industry, where your expressive nature and love for variety could be put to good use. You could explore opportunities in acting, directing, or even producing. With your natural curiosity and multitalented abilities, the possibilities are endless. Your dedication and hard work have helped you achieve success in your career, and your determination will continue to take you further.

Note
I must say: I’m genuinely impressed by how creative all your stories are. I have three questions related to your writing process, if you don’t mind.
1) How do you stay motivated to keep creating?
2) Where do you find inspiration?
3) have you ever had an idea for a scene that you struggled to execute? How did you work through that to write the scene?
I love your stories! I look forward to every chapter of Charlie McNamara.
1) Motivation to create has never been an issue for me -- there's always some new thing to write about! My issue, and the issue faced by a lot of other writers, is the motivation to stick with a project to completion. That's hard. Everyone's got a hundred "works in progress" they'll never touch again because they took a break and when they came back, their attention was on something new and shiny.
My solution to this? Money.
The reason I started Curse Words as a web serial and opened a patreon for it wasn't because I ever expected to be able to make a living as a writer. I'm as surprised as anyone that so many kind people have put their support behind me and let me keep writing these fucked up stories instead of getting a real job. I did it because I wasn't getting my projects finished. I was doing what we all do; getting three quarters of the way through any given project and then finding something more fun to work on instead. And when you risk disappointing readers by doing that, well, that'll get you back in the seat over the little bumps, maybe pull you back to a project a few times. But when people are paying you actual cash in return for consistent output, on time, to story completion? That's a way bigger motivator. Even if it's just one guy. For a long time, I had one patron! It was enough! It worked! It's not about making a lot of money, which is borderline impossible as a writer (again, I still can't believe my supporters are so generous enough that i can make this my career). But it acts as some level of both proof that your work is valued, and an active obligation on your part to keep producing it on a consistent schedule. My readers are giving me something valuable for this. I can't let them down.
Sorry, I'm sure you wanted a more uplifting kind of answer. But that's just what works for me.
2) I've never really been sure how to take this question. This is basically the age-old 'where do you get your ideas?' and it... doesn't have an answer. You think of a thing and you write about it. As you resolve the problems and inconsistencies in the thing, that fills out more and more of the world of the story.
Angel is born of a mediocre Goosebumps book called Chicken, Chicken. There's a part in the book where the protagonist, slowly shapeshifting into a chicken, rips all his feathers out every morning in an attempt to slow the transformation. The book isn't really about that but it stuck with me for a good two decades until, stuck in the house for two months at the beginning of Covid, I wrote Angel.
Void Princess and The princess in the Tower are both me musing on the old 'princess kidnapped by a dragon' trope. I get really fixated on this trope for some reason; I have four or five others swimming about in my head that aren't full stories ready for the page yet. Wasting Time is just the song Pushin' the Speed of Light, World Builder was written in a fever right after watching Jacob Geller's The Shape of Infinity, Copykate was initially going to be a SAYER fanfic but required enough alterations to the setting that it worked better as a story of its own. The inspiration is out there, the ideas are out there. It's just a matter of practice to turn them into stories.
3) I try to avoid scenes that are hard for me to depict, but this isn't always possible. I'm aphantasiac and struggle a lot with scenes that have a lot of heavy visual elements. Scenes where there's a lot going on that needs to be fairly precisely depicted are tricky, too.
One particularly difficult scene for me was a fight scene in Time to Orbit: Unknown. There's about six people in a small room fighting over the fate of a bunch of other people who are not present, and the reader needs to be kept up to date on the physical positions/activity/intentions of all the combatants, the villain explaining what he's doing and why (lying), the protagonist figuring out that he's lying, the physical condition (injuries, being restrained, et cetera) of all of the combatants, and the fate of the half of the crew not in the room, all with enough detail that the reader can understand the stakes, consequences, and enough of the moment-to-moment logic of the fight that nobody's decisions are confusing. The whole thing is very fast paced and... it's a lot. It's always a difficult balance in these scenes because you want to be detailed enough to keep the reader following everything they want to follow, but you don't want to dramatically slow down the story by describing every detail. If you're using a limited viewpoint, it's a blessing and a curse; you can avoid narrating the stuff your character can't see or isn't paying attention to, but you also have to find a way to get across information that your character might not be able to see, either by forcing them to see it or by having it conveyed in some other way in the scene. With busy scenes like this, I like to work backwards -- decide what specifically the reader needs to know, decide what is needed to get the characters to the places I want them at the end of the scene, and write a scene with as little as possible in it except for those two things. Sometimes, communicating those two things requires a bit of setup.
In Curse Words, there's an ancient magic spell passed down a family line from parent to child. It's a communication spell that allows people to see through each others' eyes and hear through their ears. Before the existence of long-distance wireless communications, this sort of information transfer was enormously powerful; wars can be turned with that power, trade networks created or conquered. It made its family enormously powerful, to the point where they're the most powerful magical family in the world even in the time of the story, with the spell long buried and its advantage lost to an age of mobile phones and cameras. It's massively influential to the worldbuilding of the story.
I introduced it for one reason and one reason alone -- I knew that eventually, I would be writing a climax to the story where a lot of people were doing a lot of things in a lot of different locations, and the protagonist was only going to be in one of those places. And I knew that I was going to need some way to tell the audience what the fuck was happening while he was running around in caves and shit.

Jack Harlow - Astro Predictions
Please take it only as entertainment.
This is using a vedic chart so placements are different from tropical.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Spouse Appearance:
Tan skin complexion. Tall in height. She likely keeps her hair long - it may be wavy/curly.
Spouse Meeting:
His spouse is likely from a different cultural background. It is possible either he or his spouse are far from their birthplace upon meeting. Venus in 8th house suggests relationships begin in secret.
Spouse Career:
She is a religious/spiritual person. She is likely drawn toward humanitarian causes and topics. She can have the desire to help and heal other people in some way.
But her approach is more analytical + logical than emotional. Naturally, she goes beyond the surface. She gets to the root cause of the problem. She looks for practical solutions.
Her personality seems it would align with careers like vet, psychologist, lawyer, philanthropist. She may have family in these types of fields too. But due to him being famous, I doubt he’d encounter these type of people. Her intelligence and nurturing/healing ability may manifest in her personality rather than her career. Homes/family (or working from home) & health might be a big part of her career too.
For example: Someone in the fitness industry could be considered a healer.
She likely has multiple sources of income/jobs as well.
Spouse Family + Background:
She may come from a difficult upbringing. Her parents may be divorced. She could have experienced ups and downs in her family relationships. She could feel or have felt some emotional or physical distance or coldness from her parents. She may be the eldest or the only child from her parent’s relationship. Childhood could have felt lonely at times.
Her mother may be an argumentative type. On the bright side, her mother likely motivated her ability to work hard. She will likely bring wealth or physical assets (like a home) into the marriage. Venus in 8th H of D1 and D9 usually shows the chart owner will benefit financially directly or indirectly from the marriage. She could be wealthy on her own or come from family money.
There is strong potential that in married life, Jack experiences conflict with his in-laws. This is likely a slow build up rather than instant dislike. He likely gets along with some members but does his best to avoid others. For example: He likes his mother-in-law but is annoyed by his father-in-law. Or he likes his spouse’s cousins/siblings but is easily annoyed by one of her parents.
Mars in Libra in 1st H D9 suggests this conflict would be expressed in passive and indirect ways. He likely handles the situation by simply avoiding the ones he dislikes as much as possible. The conflict is likely due to ego-related problems.
Spouse Personality:
She is a problem-solver. Her mindset is naturally focused on improvement. The potential negative is she nitpicks problems as she is constantly looking to improve and resolve perceived errors.
She can appear aloof or shy, however her inner mind is constantly observing and analyzing.
She is a motherly figure to her loves ones. But this is not expressed in the warm or coddling type of way. She can take on loved ones problems as if they are her own. She can be understanding and non-judgemental for the most part.
Children:
His first child would likely have prominent Venus in their chart - ex: Taurus or Libra rising, sun or moon. Venus conjunct ASC or Moon.
His third child is likely to have prominent Cap or Aqua (Saturn ruled) - sun, rising or moon.
There is secrecy shown regarding the children especially the second child. He may hide his children. One child may despise the spotlight.
Married Life:
She is a planner. She is future-orientated. In married life, DK in 4th H shows the spouse will influence their home and family. She’ll take on majority control over all home matters - location, which home is bought or lived in, how the home looks, family’s daily routine. She will be involved in his family ties too. She may be in consistent communication with his side of the fam. Virgo is mutable so she’ll be somewhat flexible but at the end of the day she wants control. Virgo influence gives a spouse who needs control to feel secure. She’ll know when and what needs to be done for the home and family.
Venus in 8th house shows in married life she can become suspicious and possible secretive. She may become slightly overbearing or controlling. However, this is unlikely to be an irrational response. Because truthfully, his D9 (the chart showing married life) indicates love affairs.
Dasha Periods:
2030-2031/Age 31-32 - This seems like a year where serious relationship developments are occurring - specifically 2031. Marriage / serious commitments seem likely. But due to Saturn aspect his Venus and Ketu conjunct his 7th house ruler - he may choose to delay marriage.
2042-2043/Age 44-45 - This is another important period for relationships. Big changes can be occurring. If he isn’t already married, this period is favourable for new beginnings in regard to love. Thus, he may choose to marry in this period. It could potentially be a second marriage too.
RANDOM AF but Jack might have arthritis when he’s older and/or issues with his knees/bones.
Anyways if you got to this point, thanks and i hope you enjoyed it. don't take it seriously, it's all in good fun. wishing him the best tho <3

"fixing" the panic attack scene to be more platonic ™
im extremely active on twt and have been noticing a sydcarmy tweet go viral multiple times a week (like w thousands of interactions its crazy), and its really great to see how much people love and see it for this ship. recently carmys panic attack scene went viral again, and naturally, some ppl gave their piece about how we are all dumb for interpreting it as romantic. that sydney represents his love for his job or his duty to the restaurant (*sigh*).
this scene imo, is the most concrete proof of this ship. i can excuse (not really) interpreting every interaction between them thus far as platonic but this scene....i just refuse. this is gonna be a long post, not analyzing the scene per se because i can't possibly say anything that hasn't already been said but more "fixing" the scene to fit the narrative of antis, and i hope in doing so really shows there's no other way to interpret this scene as other than romantic. again its gonna be a long post bc im just ranting and i think i will lose my mind if i dont type this out.
lets go.
Tumblr media
so first off i like to think of this scene as an equation/experiment. simply a problem that needs to be solved.
problem/reason of panic = ...we will discuss this...
solution # 1 = claire -> failed
solution # 2 = sydney -> worked.
Problem/Reason
s02e09 opens up with carmy and claire finally consummating their relationship, with an interesting song choice might i add and carmy dissociating, looking sad, or broken (???) after. because many have said carmy pulling memories of sydney from his psyche to calm down have to do with work i always remember that, it really doesnt make any sense?
carmy is clearly having a panic attack due to him not being "fixed" as soon as he made it official with claire. he felt pressure from his family both currently and in the past to date claire because she is amazing and perfect. add mikey also being a part of that crowd, and carmy so desperately trying to connect with him when he cannot, is why i think he looks so despondent after that scene. i truly think he thought he would be a changed person after everything with claire and when that didn't happen he flipped...
we know this is the reason bc his panic attack starts with their sex scene and the lyric "I dont know" from strange currencies by REM.
this isn't to say that he isn't nervous or stressed about the soft open but its clear that he's not having a panic attack about work nor have we ever seen him have a work-related panic attack (correct me if I'm wrong). in s1 he has one or two due to him greiving his brother.
platonic fix: To make it about work I would have added scenes like when Carmy started that stove fire in braciole, his meltdown in review, some scenes of his horrible time at EMP, and him grieving his brother. i think these would represent his fear of failure, falling back into old toxic habits pertaining his career, the fear of fostering a toxic work environment like the ny chef and also the idea of "failing" mikey
but theres a reason why none of this occurs bc its not about his job or the opening of the bear. this is explicitly about his personal and romantic love life.
Solution # 1 : Claire
carmy proceeds to try and calm down by thinking of claire through literal rose-coloured glasses...
Tumblr media
the music is distorted, he's thinking of his abusive family, he remembers every one pushing him to date claire bc shes a #goodthing.
again...this is not about his job and wouldnt make sense to think of sydneys place in his work life as a soultion to his clear personal problem....
platonic fix: in the story of carmys love life claire and sydney act as narrative foils. they have been compared and contrasted for all of s2. my platonic fix for this would be making the NY chef this first "solution" of a work-related panic attack. he represents a horrible time in his life but also represents a time when carmy was at the height of his career. when carmy gets locked in the walk in and has his monologue, its alluded to that he will revert back to that mind set in order to not let everyone down.
NY chef abused him for so long, it makes sense that carmys psyche would readily go back to his insults and the time he himself was an isolated 'psycho' bc it yielded results.
nothing is black and white and i DO think sydney represents a healthier approach to the toxic mess that is the culinary world and does represent that for carmy. if the show was invested in that, sydney and the NY chef could be overtly contrasted like sydney and claire have been.
BUT again this isnt about his job and dedication as a chef...thus why he tries to think of claire to solve his personal problem, and it fails.
Solution # 2: Sydney
LMFAOOO.
carmy then in a crazy plot twist starts thinking of his platonic work bestie sydney adamu....the love song dedicated by the show to his relationship with his girlfriend is then made clear highlighting some pretty damning lyrics about desire and love.....all platonic btw. yes you are dumb if you think otherwise (*wink*)
Tumblr media
I actually have two platonic fixes for this...
platonic fix # 1: if we only wanted to focus on sydney as a person who calms carmy down because shes his work bestie who represents his responsibilty to the bear and the postive change they are trying effect in the culinary world, i would add scenes where they are...you know actually cooking???
i think its pretty crazy how the memories carmys immediately jump to are ones that have little to do with their jobs. when they first meet (would also like to note that when carmy first laid eyes on Sydney, he forgot she was there for a job, so this is his raw reaction to seeing a pretty girl lol) and when she comes back after she quit and their break up fight.
i would add their scenes in carmys kitchen (even tho this is extremely damning bc they were flirting DOWN - they don't make this easy at all). this represents their collaboration skills and the way they WORK and bounce ideas off of each other seamlessly. specifically the scene about him wanting to give her a star, representing his duty to her and the restaurant.
*and no shade to carmy but if his responsibility to the bear/syd as a co-worker was bothering him this much and calmed him down wouldn't he have just immediately called the fridge guy.....anyways*
platonic fix # 2 (the best one): if i was chris storer and joanna calo and i REALLY wanted to sell it that carmy isnt in love with sydney then i would put every single member of the OG beef crew + Nat to calm him down not just Sydney.
im talking to them laughing at family, carmy giving tina his chefs knife, richie in his new suit, carmys one on one w Marcus/trying his donut, nat telling carmy shes pregnant (signifing rebirth/wanting to rid all the toxic abuse from his family), carmy trying sydney risotto, and her face when he said it was tremendous etc etc...you get the gist
and honestly?
even as i type this out im tearing up a little bit bc that would have been really beautiful. carmy is changing. he can and is getting rid of old toxic habits from his family and the mess that is the culinary industry. things are changing for the better....that would be beautiful....IF his panic attack was about any of these things lol.
and to even look at this scene without this need for symmetry and we entertain the idea of carmy thinking about his job as a solution for his personal problem...carmy has said himself (s02e01) that this isnt fun for him. i dont think that means he hates cooking i kinda disagree with the ppl who think he isnt passionate about it. i just think currently its something that doesnt bring him joy but i do think its something hes starting to or at least could have started to enjoy if he just committed to working with syd...
conclusion
theres a lot of....delusion? denial? straight up bias? yes all of that, going on.
idk what is happening bc this show is really great at being subtle. but i dont know whats more in your face, dumbed down, even a toddler could understand, than this scene. if you dont come out of this understanding that carmy is falling in love/currently in love with Sydney...and i hate using this term..but you just arent media literate.
Tumblr media
bonus: bc it makes me laugh and connects the purpose and solutions.
i think we need a Snyder Sydcarmy Cut™ of bolognese and omelette.
the start of the episode is when sydney and carmy fight over claires inclusion in the menu, and also when sydney randomly asks him to define his relationship with Claire. the episode would continue until we get to the table scene.
i think its WILD how as soon as Sydney asks him to define their relationship, carmy starts calling claire his girlfriend. then the show proceeds to insert sydney in their romantic montage, shows her tattoo about heartbreak and someone getting in the way of your relationship...THEN proceeds to have carmy compare these two women in his mind and only calms down after seeing Sydney.
i could talk about this scene for AGES. wheres the straitjacket....

Full Moon in Shatabhisha Nakshatra - Pick a Card 👁🌕
(sidereal aquarius)
WHAT IS BEING BROUGHT TO YOUR ATTENTION?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
PILE 1
Tumblr media
Some of you need to heal your trust issues especially regarding asking for helping or opening giving to others.
Trust issues and the fear of being betrayed is stopping to recieve guidance and it can be the opposite too, to provide guidance.
Some of you might think other people might misuse or take advantage of you for the resources you provide for them. Meanwhile don't forget to be careful where you invest your money and resources.
Some of you should donate to charity or in some kind of support group for the needy.
If you are the one who needs, help is coming your way soon.
You need to open your mind in becoming a student and learning new things. Don't be stubborn or judgemental and block the opportunities coming your way.
Serve your community and provide for the poor. Be careful with the investments you make too.
You might open up new opportunities for others or even for yourself if you give openly. Your resources and knowledge need to flow freely like water. You are putting up a blockage towards.
For some of you, you will be embarking on a new career which is your dream job, or a career related wish might come. Some of you will get the promotion you desire.
Ask yourself are giving or receiving, if you are, is it happening in flow? If you are giving, are you receiving too?? And vice versa.
PILE 2
Tumblr media
This full moon will shed light on your insecurities regarding money. Some of you are anxious about if you would do good in your career and making a good amount of money.
You will. You need to have more faith in yourself that you will get the career or the promotion you want. Especially if you have been putting in the work. It will all turn out well.
Some of you have a lot of pressure from family regarding your career. You may feel pressured to choose a certain path or just than you are afraid of disappointing them and not fulfilling their expectations.
You also desire stability in your life, especially in family. You might not have a very stable family environment or life, whether financially (for most of you) or emotionally.
You may be alone at times because of this and you hoard and save a lot. Good thing. You might travel or leave your home soon for your job.
You need to heal your relationship with money. Whether it's overspending or overhoarding.
You might think that career will solve your problems and that might be true to certain extent, but not all problems have the same solution.
You will get your dream job and the stability and security you desire.
PILE 3
Tumblr media
I guess what you need to work on is patience. Big dreams require a huge amount of time and patience.
Some of you might be so close to it, it's just few more steps or just one step.
You will see the results in a while. You have been following the rules, doing things the correct way but you still doubt it.
Some of you struggle with keeping up faith in what you worked on. Keep an optimistic attitude. It will work out, don't lose hope.
If some of you have joined an institution, church or a religious practice or ritual, you may also doubt its structure and system.
Maybe there are certain beliefs or strict rules you don't like or agree with. So it's making you doubt your choice of joining it.
Beware of who you share your important documents and money with, especially where you invest.
For others of you, I see that your dreams are unique and require you to move a different way rather than what others usually do.
If you have a business idea, how go about it is the key. You may have to leave something you have been waiting for to proper or bloom, because it is just not working out or results are taking time
Maybe others have relied on you. You were the stable and grounded tree that others would bask on and take the fruits. You are no longer doing that shit.
PILE 4
Tumblr media
You have shown a lot of strength and resilience. You have matured a lot. Your patience and compassion will result in someone special coming your life.
You have the qualities that endure when times are tough. You are at a point in life accepting of others and while taking and giving space.
If you don't resonate with this, maybe you should practice these qualities. Compassion for yourself and others.
You've already won by surrendering and giving up control. You are moving to a new phase of your life.
Luck is on your side, don't doubt it.
Follow your passion whether it be a creative field or a subject, and quickly grab the opportunities.
Some of you may have a tendency to just skip what's in your table and grab the next best thing. This way you will be losing everything you could have tried.
Some of you will be planning to travel soon. You will find a new romantic partner there and there will be a lot of mutual understanding and passion between you too.
Some of you have been wishing to move out, get a dream university, dream partner. It will come true.
Especially if you want to relocate, that might happen soon. Just you need to stay hopeful and keep having faith in your dreams.
You will find someone very emotionally understanding and compatible.
Your patience and resilience is being rewarded.

Tropical chart reading✨🌸
Tumblr media
Heyy @edabina , tysm for participating, hope you enjoy the reading!💗🎀
Tumblr media
With ascendant in Aries, you come off as someone with lots of energy and zeal. You could have youthful and vital appearance despite ur age. Exalted 1st house lord in the 10th suggest that ur an ambitious and grounded person. You could be recognized via ur career, as in, that aspect of you’re life may be something that ppl tend to pick on, the first time they meet you.
Ascendant lord in Capricorn also suggest that you look great in old money, classy, minimalist, formal wear (probably leaning more onto the darker shades) You probably vibes of rich boss lady vibes😅
2nd lord Venus in Aquarius suggest that you could earn through creative, IT, social media, humanitarian, service, entrepreneurship related fields.  You could also be someone whos open to new initiative ideas when it comes to work, or anything infact.
You’re also pretty accepting of ppl in general. You love to try something different (could apply to food, clothing as well btw)
This might be random but you could spend more on beauty related electronic items, like hair straightener, curler, light therapy face masks and stuff.
Since 2nd lord is in 10th, you might have a similar job to someone in ur family. It also suggest that financial stability means a LOT to you. You wouldn’t mind putting in as much as work if it means you can build ur finance.
You could also have a tendency to overwork infact. You may have a solid habit of saving ur income monthly or so, probably pretty strict about ur of spending habits as well (although you’d love to spend, you know when to stop)
3rd house lord mercury in Aquarius, makes you someone who’s very creative when it comes to finding solutions to any problem. You could have out of the box ideas or approach to just about anything. Since ur thoughts and ideas are sorta unconventional, people may sometimes tend to view them as ‘weird as well.
Since mercury is conjunct Saturn here, it’s possible that you may sometimes restrict yourself from sharing these ideas of yours. Since mercury is also in 11th house, you may have lots online friends although you may not be tooo close to them (it’s giving long distance relation with friends that you’ve known for long). They could be from different countries as well. It’s also possible that ur pretty good when it comes to technology. I do strongly feel that you may be working in the finance or IT industry.
Moon in the 4th in cancer shows that you may love to stay at home. You could have a good relationship with your mother, and be quite close to her. You may also rather open up about ur feelings to her. You  value family relations a lot and could make a great mom urself (if your a woman😅).
Chiron in the 5th in Virgo could suggest that you have experienced hurtful incidents back at school, especially relating to academics. You could’ve been pressurized to do well academically, or never felt like you were good enough compared to your peers. You may also be bothered by frequent ailments perhaps.
5th house lord sun conjunct Venus suggest that you could be quite a lovable personality. You could have great luck when it comes to speculation business, like stock market, bitcoin, gambling or so on. Sun in Aquarius makes you someone who isn’t afraid to have your own opinion on things. Your choices or ideologies aren’t easily swayed by others perspective, and u aren’t afraid to break the rules for what’s right.
You could also love helping others, or participating in humanitarian campaigns such as blood donation and so on. With Saturn, sun and mercury in Aquarius (and stellium in Capricorn) it is very much possible that you’re a fiercely independent person, and could come up with new visionary ideas to own a business. It’s giving strong entrepreneur vibes.
With 6th lord mercury in Aquarius, you may tend to have ailments related to your bones, leg joints, or lower limbs if you have any. Um this is a weird observation and it may or may not be right, but with 6th lord in 11th, ur acquaintances may borrow money from you often, or the vice versa could also be true.
You’re also someone who appreciates a good routine and believes that it plays an important role when it comes to getting ur tasks done. You’re also pretty good at modifying, adapting or switching to new schedules.
7th lord Venus in 11th suggest that your FS can be just as social and independent as you are. You guys could have similar personality, which may be something that you could’ve bonded over in the first place. Maybe they could’ve found your ideologies pretty interesting. It’s also possible that you meet ur FS via social media/ or acquaintances. Libra in the 7th also suggest that ur FS could be an attractive person who give off calm, serene and pleasant vibes.
9th house lord Jupiter in 8th house suggest that you could’ve faced lots of ups and downs in ur higher education. It’s also possible that you love to learn about occult, esoteric or spiritual subjects. You could be very well interested in paranormal activity and such as well.
Jupiter along with Pluto in the 8th suggest that your FS could be financially well off. It’s also possible that you may have underwent some really intense transformation periods in ur life, coming out of them as a completely new person who’ve learnt something new each time. Since Jupiter is also the 12th house lord here, you may be an extremely intuitive person and I wouldn’t be surprised if you could have prophetic dreams or such. It’s very likely that you’ve experienced paranormal incidents as well.
Since the true node is in 8th, but the sign of saggitarius, It may indicate that you’re purpose is to learn and grow through these incidents and transformations in ur life, or guide others as well through the spiritual knowledge and experience you’ve attained.
Do you perhaps practice tarot, reiki healing, or astrology? You could also make a great healer. Since8th house represent sudden events, and the 9th lord Jupiter in it, you could gain sudden wealth, in the form of inheritance or lottery or such.
A 10th lord stellium indicates that you’re a career driven person, and quite motivated. 8th lord mars in 10th could may indicate fluctuations in career, but an exhaulted mars makes you quite strong willed, resilient and hard working.
You’re someone who never give up on their goals despite the setbacks. With Uranus and Neptune in the 10th, you COULD have a personalized, ‘ideal’ version of ur career or how ppl should view you, you’d try your extreme best to attain that version or maintain ur reputation.
This also makes you an extremely creative person, you’re someone whom, as I mentioned earlier, has lots of innovate ideas to offer. Its also possible that you care a lot about how people view you, and you put a lot of effort into the kind of impression you give off to people.
With moon opposite Uranus and Neptune in the 10th, it’s possible that you lack the mental satisfaction sometimes, even if youve worked quite hard at that particular thing. You could also be a be somebody who doesn’t display ur emotions outside.
The side of you that ppl see is the dreamy Neptune that’s now grounded in Capricorn, who doesn’t simply it on the outside. Although on the inside you may have emotional turmoils.

colour me your colour || toto w. x ofc (2)
Tumblr media
Summary: Tilly Marie nearly loses faith in her passion as she refuses to listen to everyone who told her to quit. Everyone but one. And it’s the man she met years ago at a racing event she didn’t want to attend. Who would have thought that her father’s partial ownership of three brands could take her to the zone of Mercedes and meet the love of her life?
Chapter summary: It's 2014. Tilly fills up the position temporarily as Red Bull's Communication Liaison and meets the man she spoke to all those years ago in Dubai... only for her to realize that he's her best friend's Team Principal. Lewis Hamilton is more than amused with her situation, if anything.
Content warning: Age gap, mentions of an absence of a father figure, brief use of explicit language, mentions of nepotism, discussion of mental health and burnouts. Platonic!Lewis Hamilton content, Platonic!Daniel Ricciardo content. Fictional family and business involved (Hearth family and Hearth Automotives Group). One character is fictional but came from a family (Ford family). NO PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS INVOLVED SORRY
Note: This is actually my demon time. I took a break from posting too much Danny Ric even if I love him sm (this fic needs attention a little bit). Should I make him go feral and chaotic again? I dunno. But anyways, here's for the Toto stans. Please tell me what you think in many ways - reblog and reply even! Enjoy xx
ii. tilly marie wants to go to hell
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tilly Marie.
That is the name that hides everything that relates to my life and purpose. Truthfully, everyone knows who I am, but I act like a stranger to everyone who works in the location during the races. Everyone has heard of my name but never really knew what I look like. Of course, they would know who I am. I’m sharing my surname with the man who partially owned three teams— all through his shares.
Julius Hearth is a billionaire who invested much more in motorsport than he should have in his racing career. Instead of becoming a professional driver, he remains a billionaire, relatively close to creating a monopoly in the racing industry.
A greedy man, they call him. He dislikes the idea of being unable to control his businesses. He could have sold his shares before, yet he keeps a tight grip over each of his holdings and keeps his position in each team as an executive. He’s not even the one at the race right now. He has his daughter act on his behalf and play his part in keeping his teams popular.
The surname Hearth is practically engraved in each team’s zones. I hate it. Wherever I go, even if I hadn’t attended a grand prix for a while now, eyes would settle on me. Everyone knows my name. I hate it. It should have been Ford instead, maybe I would have allowed it.
And so I stuck with Tilly Marie. Tilly Hearth catches the eyes of everyone in the racing industry. Tilly Marie is just a woman with access to three zones and additional pit access from her friend. Tilly Hearth is for business— for handling problems and solutions in media outlets and communications.
Now that I think of it, I remember considering quitting my job before I was even told to attend the British GP. Have you ever been so exhausted from doing what you love? Or is that something not really something you desire?
I enjoy writing fashion and design articles for everyone’s entertainment. But to be told you’ll be given a better angle on the following magazine issues and still drooling after that promise? Now that’s just an embarrassment.
Everyone I’m close to knows how badly I am treated at the company. Their sympathy came with advice to leave the company. Yet, despite the gratitude that I felt, I refuse to resign. I have faith in my career. They’ll give me a better angle soon enough. Or not.
One of the many people who told me to quit is here standing behind the gate. His tightly braided hair is covered with a branded cap. His chest is covered in a white polo. He stands there with a cheeky grin as he holds his arms out. Lewis Hamilton never failed to make me smile.
He engulfs me with a tight embrace and lifts me slightly in joy. We have not even exchanged words yet, but I am already smiling widely.
“Oh, Tilly, I thought you wouldn't come!” Lewis exclaims once that he puts me down. I straighten my slightly wrinkled skirt and look at him with a questioning frown. “You’re going to watch me win in person this time!”
“You act like I don’t see you almost every month,” I scoff, shaking my head at his pout.
“You haven’t attended any of my races for almost six years,” he points out, referring to his championship when he was in McLaren. That’s how we met. My father was bored and had decided to buy a part of McLaren, Lewis’ first team. I hung around him more often during the past few seasons while I consulted with my father’s other teams - Scuderia Ferrari and Red Bull. Lewis values our friendship more than his team, as we remained friends after he departed from McLaren.
I was going to protest and defend myself, but he cut me off before I could even talk. “You were working hard at Vogue, I know,” he rolls his eyes before he wraps his arm around my shoulder, pulling me closer as we walk down the Mercedes zone. He still has an assistant with him, and she’s nice enough to ensure that Lewis isn’t doing something stupid like getting our photos taken by paps while his arm is around me. I can see the headlines we’ll make if they see me.
Tilly Hearth’s Comeback Spiced Up by Forbidden Romance as She Snuggles with Mercedes Driver
The Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous: Lewis Hamilton Seen Cozying Up with the Hearth Group Heiress
He continues, “I love you. You know that, right?”
I nod as he playfully scolds me, “Then why aren’t you listening to me? To your three sisters, even? You’re writing a smaller piece in a magazine for how long? Six years? Why don’t you quit and find a better opportunity?”
“You ask a lot of questions,” I frown, slightly shoving him away while his arm remains wrapped around me. I try kicking him in the leg, but he quickly avoids my attack as he laughs. People that walked past scowl at us. “I knew I should’ve stayed on the Red Bull pit.”
“In my year of winning? At the British GP?” He scoffs haughtily. “You wound me, Tilly Marie.”
“And while I’m against the idea of staying in your paddock, I’m glad we can agree on calling me by that name so I'm staying because I love you that much,” I grin, kissing him on the cheek as we arrive at the Mercedes hospitality.
Indeed, I haven’t attended a race for a while now. Putting more time into my job would give me a way to a promotion or an opportunity to publish a meaningful piece in the magazine. But as years go on, I’m slowly backing away from that optimism. So being in this event… yeah, I think I’ll choose this lifestyle once more over that god-awful thing I call a career.
Still, why haven’t I quit yet? I have little faith in them. I might as well resign. But this advice came from other people. It didn’t come from me. They cannot change my mind, and I wish I’m not this stubborn and stupid. I wish Lewis would bang my head against the wall to get me to quit.
I know that I have more options if I quit. But even then, I know my options will come straight from my surname and father. Nepotism follows me wherever I go; even if it’s inevitable, I try to control the fire before it spreads. I know that using my name will not help me learn more.
Even Lewis knows how much it’ll affect my career in a different industry. One that isn’t racing. It’s bad enough that everyone knows me by name, but to use it proudly? Yeah no. Lewis keeps me humbled by calling me Tilly Marie. I love him because of that.
All of those thoughts have left me alone when I hear a voice ring out behind the two of us. One that calls for Lewis, which has my friend turning around. Out of curiosity and instinct, I immediately turned around to see who called for him.
Would it be a shame to admit that the man you met eight years ago looked as handsome as before? No. Maybe not.
My eyes respectfully move from his attractive face down to the polo that he’s wearing. Slight chest hair peeking out from the unbuttoned collars as my eyes finally look at the title on his chest.
Team Principal
Mercedes AMG Petronas
While it’s not something to be ashamed of, admitting that the older man is attractive will cause bloodshed. One that would begin with Lewis.
I must admit the man in front of me makes me nervous now that I have grown older. My legs will turn jelly if I hear his accent again.
“Ah, you have a guest,” the older man smiles at me almost charmingly.
My legs didn’t turn into jelly. But I wish I had gone to hell earlier than expected because of the heat I can feel on my face. All because of this man.
Lewis doesn’t catch the reddening of my cheeks. Instead, he nudges me with a grin, saying, “Of course I have. You know how I want people to watch me win.”
“I like that confidence,” the man chuckles, probably still staring at me while my eyes remain on the floor.
Lewis nudges me again, leaving me to clutch the strap of the bag that nearly fell off my shoulder. I glare at him, and he doesn’t see it as he introduces me, “Tils! This is Toto Wolff. He’s the Mercedes team principal. Toto, this is Tilly Marie. She’s a friend.”
I can’t longer avoid his eyes as I look up at his dark eyes. I have forgotten how to speak briefly before I clear my throat and greet the man, “Nice to meet you, Mr. Wolff.”
His stare isn’t intimidating. That’s what I think, but my body says otherwise. Suddenly, the hospitality feels 30 degrees celsius hotter because of his look.
But he doesn’t say anything about my obvious situation, and with Lewis not saying anything, I assume he doesn’t notice. The team principal then extends his hand in my direction as his accent leaves a tingling sensation in my ears with the words, “It’s lovely to meet you. Miss…?”
Oh um. Shit.
Suddenly the roller coaster in my stomach fades as I stammer, “Hearth. Tilly. Tilly Marie.” I immediately reach for his hand to shake as I shudder slightly. God, those hands are cold. I still shake his hand like a fan excited to meet her idol. Lewis, god loves him, has immediately put a stop to it by putting an arm on my side.
Not realizing I'm still holding his hand, I immediately pull away and offer Toto a sheepish smile and apology. I’m 28, turning 29. I’m not 18. I’m still acting like a child.
But my internal dialogue is interrupted by a hum coming out from Toto. He watches me move in one place, assumingely unable to reply for a moment. He's thinking of something and it's unnerving.
The silence doesn’t last long as he finally asks, “Are you Julius Hearth’s relative, by any chance? You look a bit like him.”
I immediately answer, my voice slightly cracking, saying, “Yes. Yes. I’m the eldest daughter.”
Knowing my family history, Lewis winces at the title I used to describe myself. Even he knows that this is a sore spot for me.
“Ah,” Toto hums in understanding, nodding at the response while he looks around. It seems our surroundings don't interest him, all while people around us are beginning to whisper at the drop of my name and relationship with a prominent figure in the racing business.
Nevertheless, he ignores the whispering and instead tells me, “It’s surprising to see you here, Miss Hearth—“
“Just call me Tilly,” I immediately interrupted him with the insistence of a worried person. “Tilly works just fine.”
He doesn’t blink at it, even if I can tell he has a question or so at my insistence. He continues regardless, “Well, Tilly, it’s surprising to see you here, in a rival team’s hospitality.”
I only laugh at that. I laugh at him like he’s an idiot. Or the other way around. He’s calling me an imbecile in his head now, I tell myself as I watch his brows wrinkle slightly.
I tell him, “I’m here as a friend of your driver, Mr. Wolff. And I can hardly be biased about teams seeing as Julius purchased some shares from almost each. There are no playing favourites in my book.”
“Is that right?” He asks with amusement in his voice.
“I like to play fair,” I shrug and offer him a grin, “besides, I’m not as good at interpreting races as he is. I’m only here to keep their head checked before they can lash out in front of the cameras.”
He likes that response even though I mentioned I have limited motorsport knowledge. He chuckles again, nodding in my direction and at Lewis, who I have almost forgotten is with me.
He doesn’t say anything to me anymore and tells Lewis, “Remember your interview.”
“Yes, sir,” Lewis nods at him.
Toto looks at me again and suggests, “Miss Tilly, you should be in our zone more often.”
For once, my face hasn’t flushed. I offer him a grateful smile and joke, “It’s a bad idea to give me such a privilege. I suppose you’ll see more of me then, Mr. Wolff.”
“Call me Toto, liebling,” Toto tells me with a wink, “besides, I won’t complain if I see you here— I might as well snatch you up from Red Bull and McLaren, hm? Or is Ferrari also a competition I have to fight for?”
He turns around and leaves the premise, walking away from us with a big smile while Lewis and I remain silent.
There’s a scoff that leaves Lewis’ mouth. I watch him shake his head and ask, “What? Did I do something?”
“No, no, love,” Lewis answers, chuckling in disbelief as he says, “I can’t believe I just watched my boss hit on my best friend.”
“Who says you’re my best friend? Sylv, Steve and Aims are my best friends,” I scoff.
“Stevie, Sylvie and Aimee are your sisters, love. There’s a big difference–whatever, you were just flirting with my boss!” He exclaims, making other people look at us at the abrupt loudness.
I wish I had gone to hell earlier.

I’m still confused on the chapters. is it based on parents careers? if so, what jobs go where? What about jobs that involve multiple aspects from both? Also. I’ve done so many quizzes including yours. I’ve got 4 separate answers. despair
Gallifreyan Chapters: A Guide to Careers and Affiliation
Gallifreyan Chapters don't just change depending on the roles of its members. They are, in essence, heraldic affiliations, like taking a banner or a crest. When a House is founded, it chooses a Chapter, which then shapes its members' predispositions and skills through Looming. These affiliations don't change on a whim and are deeply embedded in a Gallifreyan's individual identity.
Here's what each Chapter tends to value:
🔴 Prydon: Known for producing strategists and linguists, Prydonian Houses excel in political roles. Members often become diplomats, Lord Presidents, or leaders of various sectors. Prydon's Looming process emphasises strategic thinking and language skills, so Prydonian Gallifreyans are naturally inclined toward leadership and governance.
⚙️ Arcal: Arcal-affiliated Houses focus on science and engineering. Their Loom core instils analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, guiding Arcalians toward careers in research, development, and technical fields.
🎨 Patrex: Patrex Houses are the creatives and philosophers of Gallifreyan society. They're loomed with predispositions for art, music, telepathic insight, and deep thinking, leading Patrexians to focus on artistic and contemplative pursuits.
🌿 Cerulean: Members of Cerulean Houses are environmental guardians, with a special connection to nature. Looming for Ceruleans tends to emphasise empathy toward ecosystems and environmental sciences, often leading them into roles in ecological preservation and environmental stewardship.
🤝 Drome: Drome Houses produce social advocates skilled in emotional intelligence and debate. Drome Gallifreyans often take on roles focused on equity, governance, and advocacy for social causes.
🔄 Scendeles: Scendeles Houses follow a broadly adaptable approach, producing Gallifreyans with versatile talents. Their Loom cores support adaptability, making them ideal for fields that require innovative thinking and practical problem-solving.
💼 Can Gallifreyans Work Outside Their Chapter's Specialisation?
There's no particular set of 'defined' roles for each Chapter. However, some Houses might discourage their members from pursuing roles that seem 'below' their expected status.
Gallifrey's social hierarchy has a strong influence, similar to a class system. Members of politically/socially influential Chapters are expected to pursue high-profile positions in society, while a Chapter like Scendeles is far less politically important and, therefore, have lower expectations than politically-charged Prydon. Ergo ...
'A Prydonian kid owning a bakery? Absurd—you should be running an entire franchise!' vs. 'Scendeles kid, a bakery of your own? Well done!"
🔗When Roles Combine Chapter Traits
If a Gallifreyan takes a job that involves skills from multiple Chapters, they would likely approach the work with the strengths of their own Chapter's genetic and cultural heritage, just like any human might bring the influence of their lived experience to any job.
For instance, a Prydonian might approach medicine with a more strategic, leadership-focused mindset, which might equate to being a health policymaker. In contrast, a Drome physician might adapt their practice to develop more social solutions, like social prescribing.
🏫 So ...
The Chapter system is part of Gallifreyan society's regimented structure, designed to fit each House's purpose and values. While there's room for personal choice, deviations from expected roles are accepted as long as they don't disrupt the social order.

Brain rot which has been attributed to cognitive decline due to long exposure of trivial contents which contribute less or nothing to one’s mental alertness and reasoning surrounding his ability to provide solutions to pressing issues, trivial contents like endless scrolling on social media, fruitless contents, videos low on intelligence and other contents that have nothing to do with intellectual exercise. At a point that one began to feed on those contents, which limits the ability to entertain intelligent information that will help to solve every day problems. There will be no room to think outside the box, critical reasoning and contribute to intelligent conversations, that’s when brain rot creeps in.
When there is a viral memes, videos and pictures people are thrilled to join that wagon and share across their social media handles just to feel the satisfaction that they are aware of the latest trends, they overly concentrate on that to seek that validation, and losing the ability to handle important issues in their lives. They become mentally focus on every little trends that emanates from social media, comments horribly on someone’s social media post just to feel the need to be social aware of what’s going on the internet, the fixation is the highest form of brain rot any individual can suffer, this is because its totally disconnect you from ability to think, and give you limited vision on important goals in your life.
Man sharpens man as iron sharpens iron, when you’re ignorance of the destructive contents that play actually no role in your life, you’re indirectly inviting cognitive decline, it is more common with young people that join every trivial challenges on social media, that they hugely commit to the trends of these challenges, as opposed to their main targets in life, which is self-destructive. People commit less into improving their ability to be problem solvers in real life, and has successfully failed in separating social media life from real life, that they almost live on social media. Setting goals and engaging in productive activities are huge boost for cognitive exercise, expand ability to offer critical reasoning.
Brain rot has negative effects on your social and emotional wellbeing, it is relatable when people struggle to stay up and do their academic activities but will spend hours watching movies, scrolling on social media and feeding on trivial contents without getting bored, it directly attacks your mental alertness to everything around you. It is not permanently fatal, if you’re willing to commit and reverse the cognitive decline through reduction on amount you spend on social media and try to prioritize different goals in your life, engaging in intellectual exercises like reading, doing multi-tasking jobs, be self aware and conscious of the type of contents you seek, and reach out to intelligent contents that help you grow personally and career wise.

only tangentially related to canon careers but i do wonder if i was technically unemployed. currency wasn’t really a thing for us, which is weird because you’d think that interdimensional trade would be a huge deal but apparently not. or maybe we were just out of the loop about it lol
so i didn’t really have a job after leaving my underground. dont get me wrong i still had stuff to do, making mayhem and keeping folks off our trail and all that “bad sans” stuff you know n love… but that’s not the same as being *employed*, you know? like my ass was not contributing to an economy. cause there was no economy.
yeah all this to say, the economic makeup of the multiverse could’ve been so so cool but instead we just did a lot of bartering and gang violence. chat what the hell were we doing. we literally found the solution to the root problem of economoics and went “nah not my problem”. wha??? all those sanses and not one of us had a business degree??????

indie video game i liked and have thoughts on cool wow
friend of mine was streaming Cartomancer Anthology the other day, (a grab bag of indie games a la haunted demo discs and such, themed after the major arcana) and one of the games included really clicked w me. in a way i wanted to talk about
Tumblr media
it's the game themed after the high priestess card. the tldr plot is you're The Seer and you have to help people think through their problems. you do this with the main gameplay, a puzzler sorta like lights out, where you rotate and then place a shape, all the tiles in that area flip states, and your goal is to make enough of them black.
Tumblr media
i think splatoon 3 (released after cartomancer) has a pvp game kinda like this? it's not difficult to understand, and the puzzles are pretty comfortably "not brain melty but not trivial" which is a nice place to be. what really struck me was how well it fits the story. each character you help has puzzles that fit them and their trouble. the first I noticed was a novice alchemist, who is frustrated over how much they still have to learn- their puzzles are all broken versions of the shapes on your cards, slightly too small for them to fit properly. the librarian who is worried about time management and organization has mini-puzzles in cramped spaces. etc
Tumblr media
the character Problems are all low-stakes my little pony style things like that- one character wants to pick a different career than their mom wants them to, one is worried about whether their job will have made a difference after they die, one is passive and conflict-averse. I'm not necessarily a fan of like, fiction-as-therapy (this is not charitable at all lol i cant think of the proper term) but it fits the fairy tale aesthetics of the whole thing, and its not offensive or anything, the underlying philosophy is fine, its just a bit twee. and sometimes you're in the mood for something twee! or at least i am. a specific philosophy thing i really liked isn't said directly, but almost none of the puzzles have a "perfect" solution that will turn all the tiles black, and sometimes progress requires getting "farther away" from your goal. woah hmmmm how do those relate to what the characters are doing. i like it a lot okay. the actual puzzle gameplay couldve been anything at all- hidden objects, or match 3, or nonograms, etc- and a worse game would have it be arbitrary, but it's not. ..you see the connection you see why it's cool and why it works
Tumblr media
the aesthetics and style- also good. between puzzles there's an overworld that does that delightful 2d-characters 3d-environment thing seen in like "paradise killer" and "smile for me" (and "sewer rave", which shares a developer!). and that's always great, the character designs are all great, it's lovely. they have multiple expressions and do the squash-stretches, and they all have unique nameplates with little designs (which i dont have a screenshot of, gah). theres just a lot of care put in. its nice.
Tumblr media
i was struck ok? i fell in love. it happens. shoutout to weird little indie games. shoutout to @slitherpunk

general energy tarot and oracle of the royal family it is quite short
Tumblr media
King Charles 3: energy we think about which path to take, we delay a transformation, we wait for the right moment. With the tarot, there is a desire to communicate or modify the way the team works, we wish to modify the links or improve them, a change in behavior or communication.
Prince William: energy, he feels victorious or blessed about a wish in connection with his family or on a relational link. tarot: still this victorious energy about a project or other (something that is not material) a decision was made which was not easy
Princess Catherine: energy, a lot of vitality and peace has returned, we are opening up to other possibilities. Ave the tarots I had the sun card, good news accompanied by a selfish energy with the 4 denier with the 2 deniers reversed + ace of cups + ace of swords + the devil = we made a petty choice here .
prince harry: energy, we move away from our money problems, we don't want to see the truth. With the tarot cards: it was hard to free ourselves or to find a solution in a marriage, so we hope for something from heaven
meghan markle: we are working on an objective project to detach and make a career for ourselves. With the tarot cards; an event of the tower, we hoped to get help or money but it didn't happen, we keep moving forward but we start to be stuck, we will accept a more "modest" job but which gives him the impression of moving forward.
Have a good evening

Blog 10
Describe your personal ethic as you develop as a nature interpreter. What beliefs do you bring? What responsibilities do you have? What approaches are most suitable for you as an individual?
Hey! For our final blog post, we were asked to write about our personal ethic as we develop as nature interpreters.
I’m currently in my final year of university, and I’m beginning to look for jobs. And for the first time in my life, I’m looking for career jobs, instead of part-time of summer positions. So needless to say I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about what jobs I ideally want, what jobs I’m willing to do, and what jobs I’m not willing to do. Our course readings for this week mentioned a fear of a desk job being a potential motivating factor for pursuing a career related to environmental interpretation. That one did admittedly resonate with me a bit. My last job was more or less of a desk job, where I worked as a research assistant in a lab. And even though, on paper, it was closer to what I want to do as a career, I didn’t enjoy it very much. I missed working in the service industry, I missed the high-energy, social atmosphere, I missed getting to work with my hands and see the results right in front of me. Spending most of my working hours not only indoors, but in a dim lab staring at a laptop just made me irritable. So I’d love to find a job in the sciences that’s more hands-on and active, but I’ve realized I’d happily move away from research if I can’t find a job in that field that lets me move around.
Every week or so I get an email from the university describing job opportunities. It hasn’t been very useful in finding jobs, but it sure has been useful in helping me figure out exactly what place/companies/fields I am not willing to work for. There’s always plenty of decently paying opportunities working for mega-corporations like PepsiCo, and the like, as well as their countless subsidiaries. I know now that I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I worked for a place like that. I would much rather go just about anywhere else, including back to the service industry. I might have a less prestigious career, but I care about having a job that I enjoy doing and that I see as important. During my last job, it was difficult to get up and go to the lab in the morning when I couldn’t really see the effects and importance of the research that was being done. I know that whatever I end up doing, it needs to be relatively active, and even better if I get to spend time outdoors as part of it. As long as I’m still able to spend my free time outside, that much is negotiable.
I wanted to go into more details about my beliefs/motivations/self-assigned responsibilities. First, the rather apparent role of nature in mental health and our current culture around it. Not that I have enough space to go into all of my thoughts on that, but I’d like to include a few of them here. One, on mental health being treated like an individual problem, when it really should be recognized as a systemic one. Even if people admit that it’s systemic, the “solutions” and treatments that are currently popular tend to be highly individual. Take mood-regulating medication, go to eternal therapy, isolate yourself from others in the name of self-improvement. In general, mental health has been both commercialized and capitalized upon. Like I mentioned, I don’t have the adequate space to go through my thoughts on the systemic causes of mental lack-of-wellness. But as I’m sure many of us are aware, spending time outside and spending time with other people (or even both at the same time!) have been shown time and time again to be beneficial to human well-being. Honestly, I don’t think we need more research in that area. We already know, and as much as I like numbers, more statistics aren’t going to save us.
So for me personally, all that means that I don’t want to have a job that drags down the health of other people, or my own. I would love to have a job that helps remove some of the barriers that have been put up between nature and people, which I don’t think should belong in different categories in the first place. But an important caveat for me is that I don’t want my career to be a constant fight. I’m quite tired of war analogies. There’s less of a point in destroying something if there’s nothing better to work towards. I don’t want to dedicate my life to fighting climate change, because I’ll make myself miserable and make everyone around me a little less happy. That’s not to say I don’t care, but I do think that a bunch of sad and lonely people aren’t going to bring about much positive change. Like the video with David Suzuki and Richard Louv mentioned (I think it was Richard Louv who mentioned it), it’s hard to make change if people don’t have any sort of positive idea of a future to look forwards to.
So to summarize as neatly as I can: If I end up doing something related to nature interpretation, I want it to get people excited and help people feel more connected to the world around them.

On the same note as working towards something rather than solely working against, I have a book recommendation for anyone looking for a sci-fi story with a positive outlook: Monk and Robot by Becky Chambers (and its sequel)
Thanks for reading!

Blog 2: My role in the environment
My role in the environment
*I have highlighted captions that introduce some of the paragraphs content*
Although I do not plan to pursue a career in environmental interpretation, I will discuss how I will apply environmental interpretation techniques to my relationship with the environment and potentially to my future professional endeavors in this post.
I don’t want to cause harm when fixing a problem
As an environmental interpreter, my ideal job would be to offer a humanist perspective on the earth, since it is incapable of defending or speaking for itself. In this instance, the terms "humanist" and "humanism" refer to the advocacy of an ethical life approach toward the natural environment. Consider if a solution would negatively impact other beings.
Be aware of what is being done
Processes regarding the protection of the environment seem to be overlooked by the general public. I don’t mean to say the current situation is perfect, but efforts are made to conserve and mitigate impacts. Finding a realistic co-existence of human (we already do this but the thought behind the comments is based on the context of exchange) and natural environment.
Ask questions. How do you understand the topic? Consider all outcomes.
What actions are required of humans by the environment? achieving more carbon neutrality? Moving away from energy sources that produce emissions? What is eco-friendly's cost-benefit ratio? Do solar panels produce more waste than energy that is efficient? Every option and alternative needs to be considered. These questions should be asked of anyone who is passionate about the environment. Being an environmental activist and advocate involves more than just picketing; it also involves raising awareness and coming up with solutions. I became aware of the extent to which lobbyist groups influence the political process and, consequently, the potential impact of environmental stewardship through my involvement with an environmental consultant. Those who are environmental activists tend to ignore this element.
In natural interpretation, it's critical to identify environmental issues and devise remedies that will both enhance the situation of a particular problem and avoid having a detrimental effect on others.
Manage expectations, be realistic, be critical
As a Canadian I also try to be aware of the realism of popular solutions and how effective they can be in Canada. An example I’ll use is the use of EVs (Electric Vehicles) many Canadian cities are very far apart which can cause an issue with charging availability and another looked-over factor some parts of Canada are too cold for EVs to start. In a role as a natural interpreter I believe it is not only important to understand science but also to understand the socio-economics and reality of how humans make improvements for the environment.
In my approach of natural interpretation I want to include understanding the livelihood of others when coming up with solutions.
This concludes the second blog on how I see my role as an interpreter. Please let me know if you relate on some topics and how you see your role.
Thank you :)
