Ken Sato, outfielder for the Yomiuri Giants, comes clean about giant spending habits!
In a recent interview, All-Star player Kenji Sato confessed to spending absurd amounts of money on grossly large sports memorabilia— mostly his own.
“I have a good, totally plausible reason for it,” Sato had plead, unconvincingly.
Sato bat an average of .420 last season, which puts him among the best. “It’s— ugh. Hm. Erm. It’s.” Unfortunately, he struck out severely in attempting to explain his spending habits.
“Don’t knock it ‘til you try it!” Sato swore, but then refused to give exact numbers in terms of pricing for those who may want to “try it”.
For the readers not in the know, a 15-foot recreation of Sato’s jersey recently went viral when commission details were leaked to the public. Our interviewer asked for a comment concerning the jersey, to which Sato is quoted to have said: “Well. I guess you can say I have a pretty big fan.”
Wawawawa, drew Apollon instead of doing my school work (It do be like that dkjasfds.) Also, drawing Apollon in a somewhat more modern time is fun! :^)))) (Idk, man... Idk)
I haven’t returned to Taiwan/China in a decade. My family, my cousins, have grown up without me; I don’t even know what they look like anymore. This series superimposes cartoon self portraits onto real photos taken by myself and my mother during my last visit ten years ago. The photos have been collaged with elements of childhood. The series reclaims my memories of Taiwan/China and reckons with the passing of time and the changing of space, flattening my experiences into a fictional, digital world where I never left.
The bottom piece is a timelapse of my old family house from 2009 to 2023, now an apartment block.
A little different than last year's, but here we are again. To say that this past year hasn't been absolutely wild would be a lie, cause HOLY SHIT MAN
This year's birthday is. A little different for me, but you already have the silly comic to show that so I won't make like a broken record oops
But, despite the changes and hills that life's decided I should climb or throw at, it hasn't changed the fact that I'm so genuinely fucking thankful to the people that I've known since joining this fandom. I'm not even kidding when I say that being here has actually changed my life for the better. I know I said something similar last year, but this time, hoo boy it sure turned up the AMP and test how far I could go.
So, to everyone, both new and old; thank you for being here :D
[I DEFINITELY GOT SONAS WRONG AND THESE AREN'T ALL THE SILLY PEOPLE I KNOW BUT IM SITTING HERE AT 2:30 IN THE MORNING JUST KNOW YOU'RE THERE IN SPIRIT HANDING YOU ALL POPTARTS WAUGH]
you guys understand that if aziraphale had to go undercover in hell, his demon disguise would be just as silly as crowley's angel disguise, right? right???
AGH FASHION DESIGNER SUGURU AND MODEL SATORU W A NEW INTERN DESIGNER UNDER THEIR WING 😞😞☹️ - 🌺
WAHHHH I LOVE THIS 🥺🥺🥺 the pining and flirting and slowburn of it all… model!satoru and his favorite designer suguru geto, both of them undeniably skilled and born with an eye for fashion….. well-known and adored……..
designer!suguru who gets tasked with showing you the ropes, who’s always so patient and kind despite your inexperience. diligent with his teaching but also so laidback, so easy to talk to… he looks intimidating, but he’s so polite that you can’t help but swoon a little. and he admires your enthusiasm so much…… grows fond of you soooo quickly bc you’re just such a breath of fresh air compared to the divas he’s forced to work with all the time. he thinks you’ve got real potential and he wants to nurture it.
and ofc you end up running into model!satoru eventually…. bc he’s always hanging around suguru whenever he gets the chance. and he’s maybe a little jealous that you’re hogging so much of his personal designer’s attention, but… he also thinks you’re so cute . T_T like a little puppy following suguru around… so excited to be apart of what you’ve dreamed of for so many years……… he looks into your eyes and sees the same sparkle he had before he made it big, and it makes his heart race.
yeah . i’m just thinking abt the peaceful coffee breaks with suguru….. how he’d insist on paying for your drink, ”since he’s your senior” (he wants to be your favorite </3)…… and how he’d just be so protective over his little intern. don’t get me started on the close proximity with satoru when you’re taking his measurements, the glance and smile he sends your way during an impromptu shoot… the way he always calls for you with a sweet coo of ”how’s my favorite intern doing today?”
Kabuto is such an evil dork. Ninja info cards should've been a staple of his character. I want him literally being one of the biggest threats in the show and still carefully etching his all of his absurdly vast knowledge into dorky little holographic trading cards. Obito asks him for literally anything and Kabuto reaches into his dorky wizard robe sleeves, pulls out a deck of cards, shuffles them dramatically, and tells Obito to pick a card. And Obito is torn between finding it hilarious and finding it infuriating.
In a time where most of us have literally preached about safety standards, it is incredible to me that some of you guys will defend behaviour that strictly goes against said safety standards only because it's your favourite driver.
Shut the fuck up actually if you think that your driver deserves some special treatment when he is putting people at risk.
A driver weaving in the fucking pit lane under wet conditions is not okay and should never be justified. Do you know how easy it is even at the slowest speed to lose a car in the wet? Do you know how easily a mechanic could get hurt?
I don't care what the reason was, hell not even a mechanical issue will ever justify that.
I don't care that nothing happened, that people maybe used to do it, that it's fun to see etc.
Shut up.
We have been vocal for years across multiple FIA lead championship for them to take safety more seriously, to look after the drivers and teams.
If some of you think that there is any exception to that only because it is your blorbo get out.
If you can't prioritize safety over defending your driver or wanting him not to get a penalty you are not a real motorsport fan.
