How Homestuck Beyond Canon Candy Timeline has/will have parallels with Homestuck proper around and during the events of [S] Game Over

Jane Crocker heavily aligned/influenced by with Crocker Corp. Notice how her neck accessory looks very similar to the Crocker computer tiara. There's also the circuits surrounding the button, which are reminiscent of Crockertier Jane's visual mind control effect by The Condesce.

Jane also kind of looks like The Condesce with how she's silhouetted here.

The head of Crocker Corporation on a large Crocker space ship. A ship which I would like to point out looks eerily similar to the ship that The Condesce flies around in except the forks/sporks are facing the opposite direction and it's got black on it instead of mostly red.

Jake dying at the hands of Crocker influenced Jane and coming back to life parallels with this Jane coming close to killing Jake, but stopping right before death. Same green text too.

The cast of characters surrounding this time in the comic are also similar.

We also got the whole Crocker laser beam of death being hinted at which we've absolutely seen before.

I talked about this in one of my previous theories, Jake is getting a better grasp of his hope powers; so, I think we could see another hope explosion again in some capacity out of Jake's concern for Tavvy.

I could also totally see Jake being held hostage by one of the Crocker Clones A.K.A. the Brig Boys and Kanaya cutting them up with her chainsaw (hopefully avoiding Jake).

This is more of a little side detail, but Vriska is once again on the sidelines while this massive important fight takes place because she's trapped in her own personal Hell this time.

CHARACTER DEATH FLAGS - I don't know how to organize this post and there was a lot more potential evidence to this than I thought there was going into it.

Let me preface this with the fact that the existential split between Meat and Candy sometimes seems to try to course correct itself and much like certain peoples DNIs, it doesn't want any doubles. We see this with Dirk, Dave (he died even if he ascended to ultimate self afterwards), June/J/John, Terezi(seemingly), Meenah (her other self is in the black hole with Lord English so we can't necessarily confirm death but yknow), Aradia (is just Aradia), Gamzee, Calliope (that is a whole complex situation), and Rose (if her future sight is correct, but we'll get to that). Those are the only examples I can think of at this time, but it's absolutely a repeating pattern of the universe sort of course-correcting to have only one of each of our main characters exist at a time. This, at least in the cases of Dirk, Dave, & Rose seems to be related to the ascension to ultimate self, but we can't really say if that's why the other characters only get one existence at this time.

Karkat has has at least 2 deaths from around this time, one involving Crockertier Jane as well which could be a sign of things to come.

Rose's death flag is that she has literally foreseen her death in her future sight. She is thinking about Kanaya and Roxy in the same thought process while seeing her own death, feeling full of regret (even though she's trying to repress her own feelings) about her relationship to Roxy and Kanaya. Very similar to her being regretful as she was dying in Roxy's arms. I'm also guessing the bullet that hits her will be from Jake's gun, just throwing that out as a possibility.

ROSE: What... ROSE: Happened to me? ROXY: the witch got u ROXY: with her fork ROXY: but youre gonna be ok ROSE: Oh. ROSE: That's nice. ROSE: *Cough.* ROXY: maybe you uh ROXY: shouldnt try to talk now ROSE: You saved me, didn't you? ROXY: ... ROSE: Thanks. ROSE: But, ROSE: She's gone, isn't she. ROSE: For good, I mean. ROXY: ? ROSE: I saw her die. ROSE: And. ROSE: It's a shame how... ROSE: *Cough.* ROSE: A shame that I never even... ROSE: Got to tell her... ROSE: I loved her. ROXY: who?

ROSE: Kanaya. ROSE: But... ROSE: You too, mom.

Kanaya also has a death flag here in getting hit by The Condesce's laser beam of death, but it's more of a maybe given that we see Rose's future vision of Kanaya holding her body in her arms. Keep in mind though we also had this bit of dialogue about the reliability of future sight right before we saw that vision.

JADE: dont forget im more than a little versed in future sight myself ok JADE: i dont care how credible it seems, you cant depend on that information!

Jake and Jane are also on the chopping block potentially, but I can't think of a way at this time, unless Kanaya mistakes Jake for one of the clones amidst her rage and ends up cutting through him along with the Crocker clones. The one pictured below was done by Aranea who is out of the story. Maybe Meenah's trident hits Jake somehow or something, I don't know. We also have meat Jake and Jane who are doing more okay.

On top of the parallels to the doomed timeline that was [S] Game Over, we also had Vriska say that this reality was fake and didn't matter. I'm paraphrasing and I don't know if we'll get a doomed timeline situation yet with the 4 kids still in it, but I just thought the amount of parallels was interesting & worth pointing out.

I also wanted to get this out before the next update in case it's related to the flash animation and any of my predictions come true.

Alternatively I think the flash animation will be Ultimate Dirk kick starting his SBURB home brew session on Deltritus. He probably has all the tech and narrative powers to do it based on what we've seen, they just need a species they'll both be satisfied with as the players for the session.

I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, but there's a difference between Amane's eyes in Magic and Purge March.

In Purge March, we see that her murder is not just motivated by her cult's beliefs; she also sings about wanting someone (presumably her victim) to pay for hurting her. That's a very personal motivation. It seems she chose to do it instead of someone in the cult telling her to kill them.

However, there's still a focus on following the cult's teachings. I believe that her victim might have been a hypocrite who broke one of the doctrines. Thus, they needed to be punished. It's both doctrine-motivated and revenge-motivated.

She's partially letting her own opinions color her view of what she's doing, hence her eyes being half a different color and half some of the cult's color (green and yellow). Since each mascot has a color associated with them, this means that the commandments Amane is thinking most about are

Thou shall deliver unto those thou believest in (Yuri)

Thou shall stay thine course, then perish (Gachata)

Notably, the purple wasn't there in Magic. This may signify that she is taking her own feelings into her view of things more. Gachata's teachings may be becoming slightly less important to her now than before. Meanwhile, Yuri's teachings still hold strong.

The purple could also represent outside influences since the hat is part of Amane's school uniform, which is also purple. Schools tend to teach things that run counter to what many religious cults teach. We know that the hat is part of the uniform since this girl is also wearing it, and I think that it's the same color as the hat.

I have no idea if anybody else has been talking about it but i found more evidence for Ice-E being plot relevant

His catchphrase Giasfelfebrehber struck me as weird on a replay cause gias is a real word and parts of february and december are in there too

Reached the cold area of chapter 3 again where you input the codes to unlock the doors

The second is 1225 which is december 25

The first is 213 so going off the second one its february 13

The codes are parental locks for R rated movies and music videos, each something kris and december enjoy

Now to tie this back to Ice-E his "catchphrase" is gias fel february decehber

Both versions of his phrase in undertale have typos but the random h in december is consistant for some reason

Okay so... in the third chapters secret egg room the man talks about how the world used to look like how that room looks- older school rpg than the current game

and this ties into the idea i have in my head that if the roaring causes the world to end it remakes the world entirely but thats not super important

Taking that idea into consideration it would make his phrase mean

World fell february december

And who knows what that could mean! Why specifically Ice-E that says this and why he comes out of the green pipes in that super weird minigame all ominous and spooky

But the fact Ice-E is in the light world, dark world, and Toby deliberatly foreshadowed him in Undertale. And that theres hints of a future ice themed dark world

Makes me anticipate some sort of Ice-E boss fight

One last thing is Ice-E is depicted as melting but the Nightmare snowman that rarely appears in undertale seems to be a frozen Ice-E

To add, red is associated with danger, and blood, while green is associated with life and well, whatever the opposite of danger is.

What about color theory in homestuck?

*rubs hands together evilly* this fits in with a religion thing, I'll talk about that later. It's fairly obvious looking at the colors surface level what's what. Time is red, space is green (may originally be assumed to be black). There's also life (green) and blood (red) which show more of where this is headed. This is where I'm focused right now. The first time and space players we're introduced to are Dave and Jade. They do show part of this. Actually, I might just give you a list of char/color associations for this specifically.

The dolorosa The sufferer

Jake Kankri/karkat

something they all have in common, by color, is and association with life/creation for green and death/destruction for red. Jade is a gardener, calliope loves writing and art, the Maryams (kanaya, porrim, and the dolorosa) have ties to gardening and motherhood. Dave likes fossils and preserved lizards, aradia likes bones while also being dead herself, karkat has links to the grim reaper through his sickles, and Caliborn is... Caliborn.

Going through you may notice something else many of the have in common: Bible symbolism. The sufferer is literally known as troll Jesus. And because I like putting things in charts, I'll do that for the troll characters.

kanaya: her entire family line is based off the Virgin Mary (see: dolorosa). the mothergrub, her lusus, is also a "mother of all trolls" same as one might say eve was the mother of all of mankind.

Aradia: *cracks knuckles* this is a fun one. First off her names. Aradia is the name of a pagan goddess (not biblical, but fun to know) and megiddo, on which her name is based, is the basis for the name Armageddon (Tran: Hill of megiddo). That's also part of her boyfriends trollian name (twinArmageddons). Apocalypse (of apocalypseArisen) means revelation, like the book of revelation. Not to mention she quite literally brings about the end of the world. The 'arisen' part probably is talking about the other sign of the end, everyone rising from the dead for judgement day.

Calliope/Caliborn: yet another fun one! First off, seraphim are the harbingers of doom in the book of revelation. On a slightly unrelated note, they are most likely meant to be a syzygy, two (one masculine, one feminine) opposite forces, working together. Caliborn is part of Lord English. And the snake symbolism, snakes are both symbols of life and fertility, and of destruction, and there's the green apple/red apple thing, plus the association of snakes and trees (again with the growth/decay motif)

Jake: the association with skulls. The PC name. The vibe. It's low-key kinda obvious, he's meant to refer to where Jesus died. Mount Golgatha, referenced in his PC name, golgathasTerror, was where Jesus was crucified. It was also commonly referenced as a skull-shaped hill. Now, his boyfriend dirk is a very obvious gnostic reference. His denizen is literally the demiurge. I'm assuming the two of them and their friends are supposed to be a trinity sort of thing. Jane is Sophia (wisdom), Roxy is hylekoi (material), dirk is psychekoi (psychological) and Jake is pneumatikoi (spiritual). Jake is also part of Lord English, so.

The dolorosa/the sufferer: as I said before, the dolorosa is based on the Virgin Mary. Her name is a reference to 'sedet mater dolorosa' (rough Tran: the mother sits weeping/in pain), a title of the Virgin mary. She found the sufferer as a grub (baby) and adopted him, which was the first time something like that had ever happened. The sufferer grew up to lead a revolt, and became, as said before, essentially troll Jesus.

Upd8 1: I FORGOT THE SPATIAL-TEMPORAL THING. so essentially there are two axes. Spatial, which is heaven, hell, earth, and God. So basically all the creative aspects. Then there's Temporal, which is time in general, but more specifically the End Times. This also fits in with aradia as she, the maid of time, helps (maid) to usher in the End (time).

this is very nice actually thank you so much <3 <3 and like, i probably do need to give myself more credit in general but also i am still very much learning and stumbling and figuring digital art out (and for the most part it is so fun)

I’m gonna ramble about this a bit so bear with me and also i apologize lol, but that art was done after a month of getting increasingly more frustrated with everything turning out so badly and eventually realizing that I was trying to 1. copy a certain look/style that i’ve internalized is what fanart and digital art should look like and is very far away from my style/comfort zone 2. i was trying to do everything digital allows without being comfortable with it or understanding it

so (and this took me a month to realize ? ??) i did what i already knew from doing acrylic and oil painting in the past and could somewhat easily transfer to digital without having to know more than the basics, like i didn’t use a lot of the things digital provides or allows for. i used layers for my own peace of mind but without actually needing them and did some color adjusting (honestly, the color adjusting digital lets you do is such a blessing to me) but the only fancy way i really utilized the medium was making it a gif (which is so fun and a lot easier than i would have thought, like honestly watch me make any future art into gifs too) but there are so many things you can do with the medium with settings/effects, different brushes, tools to use in the process etc that i just do not understand what they are or how to implement them so i am very slowly learning digital art as a whole new medium rather than just being able to use it to adapt what i already know

One day there's gonna be a person online that will take people's requests of any color and draw it in a person's skintone in a convincing way, see: a brown that looks like a light skinned white person's skin in a darker lighting, a green that looks like a healthy person's skin in neon lights, and so on.

And this will be a huge thing for the online art community in the west. I think the thing it lacks right now is this realization that the knowledge that tree trunks are brown and leaves are green are just something observed under the specific conditions of a sunny day, even in these very conditions these very leaves and trunk can look blue and purple and gray and so on if cast in shadow, especially in art
