We're meant to be,

our souls make up the symphony of love;

romance at it's truest core.

You met the bittersweet of me.

I met the sweet bitterness of you.

We reminisce of one another knowing change is all that can bring us hope.

The absence is rooted

Our love dry like raisins under the sun,

Waiting for the sweetness that can never die.

Our story will be engraved as unregretful

souls pluck their lives, from upturned twilight skies

I've met his soul...well, maybe unofficially.

For his, it hides but bares unexpectedly.

And you might think, is it not easier to find one you can always see.

Except...I think I have, and always feel it shows a bit too cleverly.

The times I've thought the sun was beautiful was always through the trees.

A bird's call, ever-changing, but familiar to the memory.

Same with a soul...its like a song.

And how you hear it is your choice entirely.

For it is never the same song.

You must keep listening for all the beauty.

My soul feels empty.

Empty of hatred,angsty,jealousy and weariness.

Why you ask?

Cause this soul possesses a thousand of euphoric feelings.

These feelings were hidden underneath.

Someone came,

Someone came and dug the heaviness out of it.

And showed what these aspiring feelings look like.

I am holding these tender things in my heart.

They look so good there.

Better than negativity.

Better than anxiety.

Better than sufferings.

This soul is now healthy.

Glory to Misconceptions

Blind since the womb;

my father said I've always been too clumsy.

We’ve never had a good relationship.

who gets along with stuck up individuals anyway?

I never meant to be a disappointment.

I'm lost, truly. 

I attempt to listen to myself 

feel empathetic, 

hand all gratitude to life,

then nothing and everything feels lame without drugs.

I am at peace,

but the struggle is hitting me.

Ricordo di esserle corsa dietro, per un po', ferendomi i piedi coi cocci, sanguinando sull'asfalto. Aveva gli occhi fieri e le spalle larghe, la forza di restare in silenzio e chiudere le porte, la costanza di guardarsi allo specchio senza disperare mancanze, la mia metà.
