nowhere was it stated heart or soul sang in the song too, iirc it's just common for ppl to speculate on which of them is singing. even in the lyric video (where in the description chonny jokes about releasing the songs in the wrong order, meaning he already had a good idea of the lore/characters) there is only black lettering upon a white background, which is mind's signature. what if the voice changing is just the equivalent of voice cracking for mind. have we ever thought about that. this is highly embarrassing for him

one thing i notice about ak!jay is the contrast between his despairing, broken voice in torture flashbacks compared to his loud, confident, smug arkham knight persona.

therefore, consider: after escaping and before assembling the militia, part of the arkham knight's training is relearning how to sound confident.

the first time jason practices giving an order beneath his helmet, his voice comes out as hoarse, meek and trembling. it's been so long since he's spoken to more than one person, or used his voice to say anything other than "yes, sir". he has to deliberately practice, listening to old audio tapes of batman and robin, relearning how to sound confident and in control.

thus leading to the calm, threatening arkham knight persona seen in the game.
