Hey Tumblr friends!

South Florida's lawns are under attack from a lethal plant virus called necrosis. It first appeared in Palm Beach County in 2014 and spread to Miami-Dade by 2019. Our favorite St. Augustine grass ‘Floratam’ is especially vulnerable.

Signs Your Lawn is Infected:

Mosaic pattern on leaves

Blotchy yellow and green colors

Broken yellow streaks on green blades

Symptoms appear in fall/winter

Blades turn brown and die, spreading the disease

Prevention Tips:

No cure exists; the virus spreads through plant sap.

Mow when the grass is dry to reduce the spread.

Sanitize equipment between uses with products like Virkon S, PineSol, or Lysol.

a decently big spider has taken shelter in my room.. this isnt uncomon i have a bit of a spider problem with this house the problem is this one is very clearly fond of plushies. i dont know whear it is i havent sceen it but it has a tough big ass web in an old hanging shelf and i have found its molt on the plushies the size is concerning along with the fact that i to am fond of my plushies and i only found the molts after i was half way moving all of my colecors plushies from my shelf to my bed becase fuck it i have all these plushies why not put them somwear less sad. now i live in fear it may be another sleepless night

Dumb ask (kind of fluffy?) but imagine asking any of the boys to remove a spider, konigs so tall he'd probably get a cobweb stuck in his hair

i can't decide between könig having a fear of spiders, or if he would choose to own one. i headcannon könig to have owned a couple of rats and a bunny, i think he would also have a pet tarantula. 🕷️

if könig wasn't that bothered by spiders, he'd mock you for your phobia teasingly. he may pretend to throw it at you once he lets it crawl away outside, but he'll comfort you afterwards. he doesn't mind them, he'll let the smaller ones roam around the place, only to say goodbye once you beg him to remove them.

if könig was afraid of spiders, he'd jump back and forth, his hand shaking holding a cup and paper. his breathing would be heavy, knees weak, attempting to get rid of the small creature. he'll chuck it outside, locking the windows and doors...

I feel like that if you're writing FANfiction, which can include a wide variety of established characters, you do really need to have dipped your toes in the source material. It should be the base of a character. Especially his characterization, ships or role in the story.

Which is the fun part of crossovers and AUs. How would X and Y interact? If X and Y would date how would that be

But if you've never engaged with the material a character comes from and gain 'understanding' of a character from pop culture and fan materials, you can only scratch the surface. And if you base characters of the fan interpretation of said characters (which can result in a myriad of versions), you're not making FANfiction. You're making Fan-fanfiction.

So I have really bad eyesight. REALLY bad. And I live alone. I don’t usually wear my glasses at home unless I’m watching TV or getting ready to leave.

Not really big deal except recently I realized something.

I have spider webs. A lot of spider webs. Spider webs that are invisible to me without glasses and only occasionally visible with them.

They are draped around the corners of my room and I’m really embracing the continued expression of my creepy town witch aesthetic.
