love love love how similar these two panels are. makes me insane

#putting my ramblings in the tags because that’s the only way i know how to write something semi cohesive #but!! im obsessed with the way the arrangement is almost the same #both shirase and dazai in the middle. behind them the people they’re leading #but shirase (the one chuuya should’ve been able to trust) is pointing a gun at him #and not only shirase all the sheep are holding weapons #plus all the faceless GSS men staring chuuya down as well #and then you have dazai and the port mafia #same arrangement but they’re not holding any weapons #despite the way they should be his enemies they’re not posing any immediate threat #also!! something i just thought about but i do believe there’s something to be said about how dazai is also looking down on chuuya #he is the one holding the power right now #but he is not standing and instead crouching down #if he wasn’t on an elevated position (which is arguably his position in the mafia) he would be on the same level as chuuya #but he is offering chuuya to get on the same level as him by joining the mafia!!!#finally giving him the chance to be somewhere people will treat him as an equal #and of course eventually becoming dazais partner and true equal #man. head in hands media analysis is my passion. or something like that #bungou stray dogs #bsd spoilers #bsd fifteen #bsd fifteen spoilers #bsd chuuya #bsd dazai #soukoku

So obvi it's established that the cats know the audience is there from like song one and I am forever thinking about the concept that Munkustrap is constantly doing him lil Munkustance™ cause he doesn't know if the audience is actually a threat to them or not

Like the whole show he's really just sending the message of 'you're invited here but I Do Not trust you yet' with a hint of 'you wanna fuck with my family, you gotta go through me first' and that's why all the cats are so relaxed and having so much fun. They know munk won't let anything happen to them and trust him so deeply that they can also goof off with the audience

kunikida but he sleepwalks and every year around the anniversary of the azure king case for like a week or so his sleepwalking becomes violent

at first no one knows how to handle it. if left unchecked he was aggressive at best and physically violent at worst. they don't understand what's happening right away and kind of just chalks it up to bad memories and tries to give him his space. knkd himself knows he sleepwalks but isn't particularly aware of spike of violence while sleepwalking until ranpo or something bring it up nonchalantly a few months later

it isn't until after Dazai joins and tries waking him up (resulting in a Bad case of confusion arousal and maybe him getting even physically attacked) that they all realize just how bad it is and decide to do something about this

so now every year around the anniversary of the case everyone pays close attention to Kunikida, making sure he gets plenty of rest, eats well, stays hydrated to help limit how much he sleepwalks

on the anniversary of the actual day (when it's worst), they'll arrange a little agency sleepover together where they'll all spend a night together in one place and just all be there for him to make sure he (and everyone else) stays safe in the night and guide him back should he get up and start sleep walking

#inspired by this one time my sibling slept-sprinting into my room jumped right beside my bed and stared down at me while muttering threats #in their sleep - (guided em back to bed and we were both ok But Man that was Intense)#and also by just all the other times I've helped them when I found em wondering around-#and my own?? annual nightmare ??#(I have the same nightmare I have around the same time halloween each year and I do not know why ough)#anyway more characters should sleep walk /talk /have sleep related disorders in general-#I wonna see a character handle sleep paralysis cuz its funky af KFHFJH I am such a sleep paralysis kinda guy #WAI TKJFFJKH unstoppable force (sleep-running sibling) vs immovable object (sleep paralysis guy) who will win FJHFK #we're not even biologically related why do we both have sleep issues </3 #kite watches bsd #bsd #kunikida doppo

dude the legend of the mighty nein is gonna tank my mental health sooo bad lol. they released one (1) clip and it reignited all the frustration and bitchiness from that time pretty much instantly. i spent like an hour at work today getting annoyed over years-old bullshit and then going "okay i'm going to think about something else now" and then inevitably drifting back to it and getting angry again

cr2 is just inextricably linked to the vindictive cruelty of people who did everything in their power to 1) ignore canon and 2) look down on a group of people who had every right to get invested in a years-long relationship and then vocally feel frustration when that relationship came to a fast, blunt, unsatisfying conclusion. god it's not even the disappointment that's lingered as much as it's the ice cold rage over being condescended to and talked about by the "dont forget to love each other uwu" crowd like i'm some asshole idiot child for having any critiques or negative feelings towards something that was incredibly ridiculously stupidly precious to me.

and now the show's gonna come out, and it's going to be unavoidable, and it's gonna happen all over again ^__^
