extremely short & sweet Fish Lore:

born in the US, parents died in car accident -> moved to live w/ maternal grandma in the UK, grandma passed from heart attack -> came into Bailey's custody w/ most of their important paperwork conveniently missing 🤔

Bailey recorded them as having the surname of their last known relative (Fischer) & picked the first name Deirdre at random. Deirdre Fischer is born 🧚‍♀️✨

after Deirdre's debt was communicated to them at 18, they initially skipped most of the typical street harassment/underground farm etc & jumped straight into the underground brothel after choosing to help the wrong van for some cash. womp womp.

finally dumped in the ocean after being presumed dead by the UB organizers, Deirdre spent a (relatively) short stint in the asylum before returning to the orphanage w/ a much-altered worldview & their already-lacking work ethic essentially reduced to zilch. why seek out work on their own when that first attempt ended so poorly?? better to let Bailey handle choosing their jobs for them.

(Bailey just accepts this additional workload on their plate because... the kid keeps coming back?? like a cockroach??? at the very least Bailey can finally start accepting some of the more unhinged requests that get left on their voicemail. at least then Deirdre is good for something! 🫶)

Home, After Login: I spend ages getting myself all dolled up, only to end up in the middle of yet another catastrophe. Figures. I should be used to it at this point.

Tap Home 1: I admit, I worry about Deuce being paired up with Azul. It's like I'm babysitting my siblings all over again... but hey, he's a sweetheart. He gets a pass.
