Do i think that the LOA has technology in it? Absolutely I do. LED lights but in 3000k warm white instead of the jarring bright sterile white, if they've got glass windows they're those solar panel glass panes my college natural science building uses that detects sunlight position, which in term controls the lights, which in turn saves energy. Amber lights for outside, solar panels. Just. anything environmentally sound and friendly, they've got it, they use it.

Do i think they've got computers and tvs lying around for casual recreational use? ....that i'm not so sure about. For this au? I'm gonna say nooooottt really. That stuff is typically reserved for like, mission planning, debriefing, research, etc. Frankly danny probably does know how to use a computer, however i thought it was funny if he didn't. so the meme is staying in lmao.

If they're not training, they've probably like, got a greenhouse or two somewhere on base they can help with. The LoA's whole thing is balance, harmony, restoring the natural world with extreme environmentalism. All that jazz. Probably plenty of ponds, recreational areas outside, gardens, just, stuff to do that's not technology based. My most basic understanding is that these people are the world's deadliest hippies. They can't be training all the time, that's neither good for morale nor for their bodies, so when they're not training... they're off doing shit. If Ras has kept this thing running for thousands of years then it’s gotta be pretty lit enough that nobody’s revolted lmao.

How did Akari take to living with the clans post Red Sky?

Im assuming she doesn’t have her memories- so I’m guessing that not having to work for her keep and being forced to not work herself to the bone was very jarring for her.

So that! I like to see her as having most of her memories but that doesn't make it any less jarring not to have to work just to earn her keep.

She still has her mission to seek out all pokemon but doesn't really know what to do with herself not working herself into the dirt so she throws herself into the mission. If anything she's working harder because she's worried that the shelter and goodwill the clans have for her will eventually run out. (It Won't) Rei tries his best to reel her back since they are both out and about often.

The Clans also try to pull her back but they are more so protective. Mai or Lian opting to stick near her when in the Obsidian feild lands since that is where she is most likely to come across anyone from Jubilife village. They don't stop her from speaking with Cylene, Rei, or Professor Laventon considering their actions during the red sky.

The only one able to really get Akari to slow down and rest is Ingo. His way more calm personality rubs off on her a bit making her feel like she needs to slow down when with him which in turn makes her feel her own exhaustion. Ingo takes advantage of this to get Akari to just rest for a few days, if he's lucky he can corral her into slowing down and taking it easy for a few weeks.

wind down for 30 mins before sleeping with the light on (e.g. spacing out/meditate/journal/yoga/dealing with the things that distracted me while studying) ✅ (i wanted to meditate for 30 mins straight - i could not. while meditating, i was constantly reminded of things i didn't do yet and thoughts i wanted to get down that i kept stopping and starting the timer bc either these things have been bothering me for a while or i thought it was an important observation and it's now well over the 30 mins of winding down that i had originally planned and i'm sleeping a little later than i had wanted to. oh well. next time, it's probably a good idea to stick to the 30 min timer and NOT stop it now that a good number of bits and bobs have been dealt with...hopefully they don't all get replaced by new ones by the end of tmr 😂)

More Elucien Concepts

I might have accidentally developed a minor obsession I never asked for. Have some lovely Elucien headcanons, concepts, scenarios, and what-ifs to think about.

It's a beautiful spring, autumn, or summer day, the windows are open, and Lucien is reading. He's aware of Elain--he always is aware of her--entering the room. He smiles slightly but doesn't turn as she makes her way over, tilts his head gently away from his book, and kisses him. Her skin is still warm from being out in her garden; her scent jasmine and honey and everything he's come to call home. He sets his book down and pulls her over him, running a hand through the waves of golden-brown that fall on either side of his face. He tucks one strand behind her ear and stares up at her, the longing never fading but the former sadness replaced by an easy warmth (and just a hint of mischief).

Elain has a quiet insistence on doing things herself, which Lucien fully respects. Sometimes, though, it amuses him when that independence takes a turn for stubbornness towards the littlest things. One such instance is reaching some pot or pan or baking utensil that's ended up on too high on a shelf, and he smirks as she climbs up onto the counter to reach it. He has a glimmer of suspicion it's on purpose though when she turns and asks that he help her down--an act that too often seems to end in a heated countertop makeout session or more and him carrying her to their room.

She's not subtle about playing coy, though, and puts a great deal of time into actions she knows catches and holds his attention. Slowly letting her hair all the way down, pin by pin. Lacing or loosening her corset or bodice. Letting the sleeve or strap of her dress or nightgown fall off her shoulder as she brushes the strands over her shoulder and gently detangles her golden-brown waves. She loves the fire that gleams in his eyes, though she still blushes when she catches him staring (even if it's her goal).

While she continues to grow her skills and self-control of her reaction to them, he never quite stops being protective of her where they're concerned. He always stays close when she has her visions, sometimes taking her hand to remind her they're still here, together, if one seems to be troubling her.

He fully embraces her eccentricities, and not just the ones that come with her odd riddles as a Seer. She seems to fully bloom in the sunlight just as her flowers do; full of life and light and sunlight. He swears the land itself loves her, and all the animals that frequent their garden and their home. Lucien has never seen anything quite like it, but he doesn't question it, either. It's like she unknowingly communicates to the earth itself.

While she still sometimes gets flustered with Lucien, she becomes increasingly confident and bold in letting him know what she wants from him. Yet she doesn't quite get over the occasional mortification she feels when she wants him badly and others--especially Feyre and Nesta--are around. She still prefers details about their relationship stay private. Or, at least, as private as possible. That lack of privacy is the one part of being Fae she never fully gets used to, but it's better when it's around other Fae who didn't know her before.

KIRYU genuinely looks like he'd be a sucker for sonny angels

it started off with a single purchase. "it's fine i'll be happy with whatever i get. i just think they're cute and want one of my own." he says, fully thinking it wouldn't be that hard to get the pink rabbit hipper, but he had almost every one but that.

he has the rest stuck on the top row of his pc monitor and displayed all around his room before eventually getting the rabbit. during his search for it, he's given the duplicates to his classmates! (though they do think it's very odd the figurines are naked)

tsugeura has the lion on his phone case. sakura has the panda and is terrified of it suddenly falling off at any time. suo has the koala, nirei with the giraffe, and so on and so forth.

++ additionally, he'll carry the regular ones in pouches like these and they're a surprisingly good conversation starter for whenever he goes out on dates or visits the bookshop.

I have a theory I want your opinion on:

When Lloyd has his vision in ep 10 we see these symbols:

These look to be a symbol of the main four Elemental Powers + Lloyd's and water. But why water? It's always been known to be a secondary Element- not a part of Creation.

What if each Source Dragon has a main element to them (with Riyu being the 7th)? And what if Wojira is the Source Dragon for water? But it's like a "Lucifer kicked out of Heaven" kinda thing. She was stripped of her wings and ability to speak.

A description from the Season 2 sets mentions that the Source Dragons have a "spirit form". And Wojira was originally thought to just be a sea spirit.

Aka: Nya killed a god and didn't think twice about it

HUH... you COULD be onto something actually... I don't necessarily imagine Wojira to be the Source Dragon as she's only described as a sea serpent but I see the logic actually! I get it!

NASA's sun-touching Parker Solar probe has flown close enough to our star to spot the fine details of the solar wind — including its origin, "coronal holes" in the sun's atmosphere. Armed with this information, scientists may now be able to better predict solar storms that can supercharge auroras over our planet but can also disrupt communication and power infrastructure and pose a threat to satellites, spacecraft and even astronauts. The Parker Solar Probe tracked the solar wind — a stream of charged particles flowing continuously from the sun — back to where it is generated, a new study reports. This allowed researchers to see characteristics of the solar wind that are lost as it exits the sun's outer atmosphere, or corona, and before it reaches Earth as a relatively uniform stream. The spacecraft saw that the streams of high-energy particles that make up the solar wind match so-called "supergranulation flows" within coronal holes. This discovery pointed to these regions as the source of the "fast" solar wind, which is seen over the poles of the sun and can reach speeds as great as 1.7 million mph (2.7 million kph), around 1,000 times faster than the top speed of a jet fighter.
