The last episode of the original run of Quantum Leap aired on May 5, 1993. Almost everyone in the episode appeared in previous episodes or reference previously mentioned characters. In theory, Sam lept into himself in August 8, 1953 in a mining town, but it appeared he had actually lept into some kind of limbo possibly meeting God. It was implied that Sam was the one controlling his leaps. Sam went on to alter Al's life. A title card at the end revealed that Sam never returned home again. The Shawshank Redemption 30th Anniversary

(September 23, 1994 - September 23, 2024)

It came out in a limited release at first, then was expanded on October 14, 1994. When I saw it I was 21 years old and I remember reading the novella from King’s anthology Different Seasons. Nobody was there when I saw it and I had the theater mostly to myself. The film blew me away and I couldn’t believe nobody at first knew how great it was. But people caught on quick. Thankfully.

If you’re ever in Mansfield OH, it’s worth taking a tour of the old Ohio Reformatory where they shot the film.

Bravo to Frank Darabont who wrote the screenplay and directed the film. It truly stands as an absolutely heartbreakingly beautiful testament to the Human Spirit.

before i post more of scars challenge i wanted to introduce a certain someone because scars going to be bringing up some things during one of the solo dates about dustin and the podcast etc. dustin mentioned before having been with someone when he was separated from theo and this is who he was seeing and also the light of my life, finnie .

he was the kids high school gym teacher so he does know scarlett [sid/riv/and robin too] he is STILL a high school teacher so in many years when the twins are that age theyll be in his period <3

im definitely going to be doing the globetrotter challenge with him later on because hes still kinda hurt from the breakup etc and he needs the distraction

he was the original host of the podcast with dustin and then after they broke up,while they tried to keep it together, it was too hard on both of them to continue doing it..so sid took his place . however....

ill get into more of his relationship with dustin when the stephens continued picks up. hes nicer than theo, treated dustin better than theo... BUT love is crazy so.

after the breakup with dustin he kinda just let him go with grace. when they would see eachother at school or when he was still on the podcast they would be cordial ofc. but i think the heartbreak was real for both of them for awhile.

he hasnt dated anyone SINCE dustin. hes just a lonely kinda dude.

Courtney Whitmore, The Star-Spangled Kid, more popularly known as Stargirl

Born to Barbara Whitmore and Samuel Kurtis, Court and her mother moved to Blue Valley, Nebraska shortly after Barb's second marriage to Patrick Dugan, formerly the adult sidekick "Stripsey" to the original Star-Spangled Kid, Sylvester "Sly" Pemberton. After parting ways, Pat used the money he had earned from the Pemberton Estate--both in his capacity as Sly's "chauffeur" and later his engineering work and technical advisement for Infinity Inc.--to build the mechanized battlesuit "STRIPE" (Special Tactics Robotic Integrated Power Enhancer), inspired by his son Mike's interest in giant robot toys and cartoons. Sly himself had moved on to the name "Skyman" as the number of active Starmen only continued to increase, though Sly's superhero career would be tragically cut short by the machinations of the Thorul Society...

With Barb pregnant and his old partner dead, Pat hoped to quietly retire from heroism in Blue Valley, focusing on life as a mechanic.

Courtney had other ideas.

Sharing her father's belief in "Stellarization" or the ability of individuals to draw power from star formations (first conceptualized by Stephen "The Gambler" Sharpe, then popularized by Sharpe's protege infamous cult leader Amos Fortune, founder of the Royal Flush Syndicate) with her step-brother Mike, the new siblings sought out any of Sly's effects that had recently come into Pat's possession. They lucked out with an old Knight-Tech Cosmic Staff--an incredibly old design, seemingly predating even the Cosmic Rod used by Theodore Knight during his time as the Golden Age Starman--which failed to respond at all to Mike...but took a keen interest in Court, coming alive at her touch.

While the staff itself was obviously a technological marvel, Court was surprised to find her own body becoming stronger and faster, channeling the cosmic power of the stars. Little did she or Mike know, awakening the staff had set off a chain of events that would quickly force them into the center of an almost century-long struggle between Justice and Injustice...

Castle Rock Entertainment/Columbia Pictures 1994. As a poster, this photo hung in Andy's cell hiding the ever-growing escape tunnel he was digging through his wall. In later years it was replaced by the iconic image of Raquel Welch...

...as "Cave Girl" Loana in the 1966 film One Million Years B.C., dubbed "Fuzzy Britches" by Warden Norton after Andy escaped.
